Es una cafetería - pastelería en la que solemos parar cuando volvemos de vacaciones, venden los famosos miguelitos de varios sabores aparte de muchos más dulces y tartas. También sirven desayunos

Con solo entrar ya se te hace la boca agua. Gran variedad de todo tipo de pasteles y tartas y en especial sus famosos Miguelitos. Casi siempre que paso por La Roda la visita es casi obligatoria.

Well located, but the filled croissants we ordered (two Kinder and two pistachio) came filled with each flavor, only the tips of two of them (bad luck). And they weren't exactly cheap. The Miguelitos were a 10. The hard candies were expensive. And even so, we'll return from Madrid for Miguelitos.

A great spot on one of La Roda's main streets to try their Miguelitos (they have cream, chocolate, white chocolate, and more). Besides these traditional sweets, they have a wide variety of other treats. They have several tables inside where you can enjoy a drink, or you can also buy to take away.

The miguelitos were average. I was told they were the originals, and that's why we came, although I later learned that the original miguelitos are from another bakery. But the ones here are just fine, with a queue that was manageable with more staff serving the bakery's sales. We had coffee and something at a table. The coffee was average, the meatloaf was partly frozen, and...yes, the toast was spectacular. In short, a slight disappointment in the wine we took home.

La última TOÑA q compré estaba dura y seca de más de 2 dias (incomestible). Le pongo 2/5 en lugar de 1/5 por las toñas q me comí en el pasado q estaban riquísimas.., no creo q vuelva a comprarlas. La bollería q se queda sin vender en el día no se puede vender como recién hecha. Me va parece una vergüenza q hagan esto en este local emblemático de La Roda

The service at the bakery was great! I've had the Miguelitos before, and if they haven't gone downhill yet, they'll probably be good. But the cafeteria... 🤦🏻‍♂️ A girl with a long ponytail is at the cafeteria. We get to the bar, and she's just cleaning up without paying attention. She puts the tray where I'm sitting (which isn't marked as the waiter's spot). I step aside, telling her not to worry. She puts everything in the dishwasher without paying attention to us, just saying she's with us now. She finishes loading the dishwasher and goes to serve an old man, who arrived later with a bottle, and two other tables who arrived after us. We tell her we were there first, and she says no, they were there first, and prepares their order, ignoring us. If she worked for me, she'd be on her way out right now because of the lack of shame and politeness. I won't be stopping by that cafeteria again.

Íbamos de vuelta a casa y decidimos pasar a comprar Miguelitos por este local. Ya los habíamos probado de veces anteriores pero esta vez me han defraudado mucho. Tenían un sabor a caja de cartón.. por tanto, deduzco que no estaban recién del día, al igual que el hojaldre, que tampoco estaba crujiente como otras veces, y ya no solo eso, miré en la caja para ver que caducidad tenían y para mi sorpresa, me encontré que ni llevaba la etiqueta correspondiente lo cual no me parece lo más acertado de cara a la venta al consumidor. En fin, ha sido decepcionante!

Los Miguelitos que tiene mucha fama y se lo tienen muy creído compramos y aun nos dice la dependienta que no los hacen allí , que los traen de otro sitio, que seguro que eran congelados.El12 de Febrero compramos 5 cajas y le preguntamos a la dependienta que nos prometió que eran del día porque eran para regalar y los llevabamos para Alicante que en cima te tienes que desviar y entrar al pueblo a cosa echa para comprar y estaban malísimos , húmedos con sabor a rancio y Estaba la masa muy blanda malísimos y llame para decirlo y aún nos dicen que si no teníamos el tiquek no podían saber si eran de allí. En cuanto si tienen cámaras lo podían comprobar. En fin la dependienta una mentirosa y no volveré más y no lo recomiendo nunca , al revés contaré mi experiencia para que no vallan mas .

Compré unos Miguelitos ayer de chocolate y la verdad, que fui distraída de no mirar fecha de caducidad. Es una vergüenza como pueden vender miguelitos secos, sin fecha de caducidad ( en las cajas de 12) y sin ninguna etiqueta, ni siquiera de ingredientes utilizados para su elaboración ( en las cajas de 6). Realmente me he llevado una decepción.

Compramos miguelitos de la Moderna en un puesto de la fira Tot Sants de Cocentaina (Alicante) y quiero pensar que era porque los llevaban a la feria y estaban hechos de hace días (muchos días) porque no he probado cosa más mala, blandos, pasados y con sabor a caja de cartón, en mi vida. Pregunté a familiares que también compraron ese mismo fin de semana y lo mismo, a la basura se fueron, nada recomendable ese sitio.

Terrible service: The waitresses were whispering in small groups and ignoring customers. When I asked for my order, they seemed annoyed and served me rudely and curtly. Customer service is a profession that bitter people shouldn't pursue. Bad product: Empty empanadas, awful taste. Dirty place... I don't recommend it.

A "pisto empanada," as you can see, was empty inside and tasted awful. I ordered a meat pie, and if I'd eaten it, I would have ended up in the hospital. It was terrible, very tough, and the meat reeked. The funniest thing is that it says "Murcian pie," and I'm from Murcia, and those pies have nothing to do with the ones from Murcia. It's a disgrace. It's expensive, and they serve terrible food. I wouldn't recommend that place to my worst enemy. And the waitresses are slow; they're off doing their own thing, chatting amongst themselves, and leaving you waiting until they feel like it. In short, the food and service were terrible.

After shopping there several times, I don't have many good things to say. The shop is very pretty and well located, although parking can sometimes be difficult. We didn't like their creams, and on one occasion, they gave us rather hard pastries, claiming they have two different bakeries and each one makes the same pastries slightly differently. This was all said in a rather arrogant, cold, and indifferent manner to our comment. We won't be going back; we don't want to bother them anymore.

We bought a variety of cookies to try and they were all completely stale, so we threw them away.

We stopped for a drink and I ordered a Coke. When I poured it into my glass, I saw there were bugs in it. When I mentioned this to the waitress, she came over, took the glass, dumped the entire Coke inside, and brought me a clean one, but my drink was already half empty. When I asked for the bill, they had charged me for the entire drink. So, I complained about what had happened, and the manager made us pay the full amount. She didn't even apologize or offer us any alternatives (she should have brought another Coke with a clean glass). Given the circumstances, I shouldn't have paid for the drink.
