Wise Guys is a popular pizza spot known for its friendly staff and fresh ingredients. It's a kid-friendly, often noisy environment, especially on weekends. While most enjoy the pizza, some have experienced long wait times and inconsistent quality.
Tip: The outdoor seating area is great for kids, but bring closed-toe shoes. Consider ordering to-go to avoid crowds.
Great beer choice, solid pizza, great service, good sandwiches, lots of sports. Prices were very reasonable le as well.
Great place, great food, great service. Very busy most of the time. Youth sport teams frequent this place so its not really the place to go for a quiet meal and a glass of wine. It's loud and the patio is a makeshift play area. If you are looking for a kid friendly place then this is it. Parking is a nightmare.
THE BEST! Wow! I will not eat any other pizza chain now. I forgot what real pizza tasted like. I was looking for “NY style” and while they told me this was “Chicago style”, it was AMAZING! Everything I was looking for. I wanted genuine flavor and my wife and I both couldn’t believe how good this was. We got a pepperoni pizza and a calzone and it was such a perfect ending to our day. I was almost done eating when I took these pictures, but I thought they looked good so I added them. Anyone looking from getting away from that chain tasting pizza, go to Wise Guys!

Food and service always great! We are from Seal Beach and go to Wise guys Whenever we are visiting family who live in Yorba Linda. We'll be back for a family birthday party held at Wise guys in two weeks. Can't wait!!
This place makes a great margarita pizza!
My wife and I love this place. We get their food every other week. They have a good craft beer selection and you can bring in wine with no corkage. A great place for Yorba Linda.
You can never go wrong ordering here. One of the family's favorite places to orderand go. Don't even give it a around thought if your considering eating here vs somewhere else. You need to come on in. Oh not too mention they have a good amount of beer on tap as well
Always a perfect experience. We had takeout last night and came back for a late lunch. Nice outdoor patio to relax and do some brews. Nice selection on tap.
Super super friendly and inviting atmosphere, great food and quality ingredients. One of our favorite pizza restaurants!
Staff is phenomenal and food is very delicious! It was our first time here and it will not be our last. Definitely a hidden gem ✨
Fun environment, great food and friendly service. The goat cheese marinara is my favorite!
Haven't had the pizza, but my dad and I came in for sandwiches and beer. I highly recommend it for both. Update: Had the pizza, and it's excellent, but I still think the sandwiches are the best thing they have going for them.
Very friendly service love that they have a huge selection of beer from local breweries. Thin crust pizza was really good. Will return again for sure.
This is becoming our go to date night location. Every we have tried is amazing. Great portion sizes for the price and an awesome patio to enjoy while we eat.
The pizza dough is a perfect combination of crispy, chewy, doughy, and flavorful. We really enjoy the flavors of the specialty pizzas. Half and half options are available so the flavor mixes are endless.
Best pizza in town! The Italian food is great and well priced too. Always fresh local beers on tap. The family that owns the place is great too.
Most amazing spaghetti sauce. Love the meatball sandwich. They serve sauce on the side to dip. Can’t say how much I love the food.
The Godfather supreme is the best pizza I've had in the entire state of California. The toppings are plentiful, the sauce is just perfect, the crust is flavorful and delicious. They do any amazing job here. The staff is polite, friendly, and helpful if you have any needs. Definitely a must visit for any pizza enthusiasts.
Carter was amazing! We had a reservation for 30 people on the back patio for a going away party and from the moment we arrived, Carter was on top of everything. He had our catered dishes all ready, with warming trays to keep everything hot, the food was great and Carter kept checking on us to ensure the best experience. Highly recommend!
Got a "to-go" order this time, but dine-in is great too. Always fantastic food. People are great as well. One of the best patios in all of North Orange County. Epic pizzas, and a fantastic beer selection. Highly recommend.
Their pizza is excellent -- they have some really unique pizza creations that are actually good (a rarity). The crust is outstanding and deliciously, well, greasy. But, I believe most importantly, their bar has the best selection of local beers I have ever witnessed at a local pizza joint. Their bartending staff is a pleasure and offer good recommendations off the lengthy beer list. Keep it up, dudes. Fair warning, this place gets busy. I guess the word is out.
We have eaten here several times. Last night was carry out. It was an excellent experience from the start of the order, to the server going over the entire order as he handed it over to me. The food is top notch for vegetarians and carnivores alike. This restaurant is not just a neighborhood gem but a regional treasure.
Fantastic food, drinks, and atmosphere. Even at their busiest the staff go out of their way to make sure you enjoy your time there. The patio area has plenty of space heaters as well, so there's never a shortage of places to enjoy your meal
Outstanding food and craft beer selection. We’ve been going there since they opened and have always received excellent service. They’re pet friendly and have a large patio area for dining and a area where children can play. Plenty of TV’s inside and 3 outside although they are hard to see depending on the time of day. We love this place!
We are at the Orange location for years. When we moved to Yorba Linda two years ago, we were overjoyed to discover they were opening a second location close to our home! The pizza has the excellent dough, grease, and flavor. When they make a mistake, they always correct it and make sure we are happy. We happily eat here a couple times a month!
Had the pepperoni pizza, chorizo meatballs, salad, and chicken wings. All were great. Best part they have ice cream too for the kids.
Nice place with indoor and outdoor seating. Large patio with a fire pit and heaters feels cozy at night. They have the best selection of salads comparing to other pizza places. The Sicilian salad was great and pizza was delicious.
What a cool family owned business. The authentic NYC pizza is awesome. We also had a salad that was also delicious. The staff was so nice and welcoming. A real treat in every way.
If you love pizza this is the place to go! Wonderful friendly staff, great choices of pizza plus selection of softdrinks with free refills or from the bar. Been many times can be crowded but absolutely worth the wait.
Wise Guys Pizza is a true hidden gem! From the moment you step in, you're greeted with the aroma of freshly baked pizzas and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The menu boasts a delicious variety of selections. We went to do a lot of orders for home too with our Kids and their Friends. The staff is friendly and attentive, making sure your dining experience is top-notch. With generous portions and reasonable prices, Wise Guys Pizza is definitely a must-visit. Yummy and Yummy!!! We have tried many new things in the menu too.
I loved "Wise Guys Pizzeria"! It has a nice ambience, but most importantly, it has GREAT pizza! We ordered "The Mediterranean" salad, wings and the "Godfather Supreme." SO DELICIOUS! The huckleberry seltzer is a must try for sure! Our order was ready pretty fast, great customer service and very friendly. I'll definitely be going back again soon. 10/10 recommend!
We recently ordered for pickup and I gotta say all the food we ordered was amazing. I would highly recommend the garlic knots along with the pepperoni pizza. Definitely my new pizza spot. The Bbq pizza was also great tasting. Customer service was great as the food, communication & customer service was spot on. Thanks again!
I think it might be my all-time favorite pizza. Idk what they do differently, but everything just tastes different... In a REALLY good way. Same with their buffalo wings, and even their ranch dressing is different and amazing.
My boyfriend and I were looking for an authentic pizza, not Pizza Hut style or porky style and we came upon the wise guys for Valentine’s Day. We got a heart all meat pizza, and it was absolutely to die for delicious and when my man came home with this pizza, he said to me, we have to go eat there because Everything I saw go out looked amazing!!!’ And I am so sad right now that I have no more pizza left to eat!
We ordered take out. The 5 cheese pizza was fabulous!!! I’d definitely order from them again.
Spot on. Nothing like great pizza and beer!
Best pizza around and best chicken Parm sandwich ever!
Favorite place for pizza! Great selection of drinks—including local craft beers. They have awesome weekly specials. It’s a great place to get together with groups/friends. They have a nice/large outdoor patio and if you like watching sports a variety of games are always on. Fun local place ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Pizza is one of the better ones. The sauce is unique in its taste and the crust is just as delicious
This is such a fun spot for a casual dinner with kids. Outdoors is where you want to be, and on a busy weekend night there are a lot of kids playing in the empty fenced lot immediately next to the outdoor seating area. Bring closed toe shoes for your kids because there's dirt everywhere and they will get filthy. The pizza is great and the garlic knots are perfect. It's all very fresh. We'll continue to come back when we're in the area.
Great food, better than average value. Noisy and friendly but uneven service. The last two times we went our meals were served more than 20 minutes after the first person at our table was served. Will we go back? Absolutely.
I fear if I tell you it's great- I will have to wait for my food and the secret will be out! But, It's worth the wait and worth sharing. So many good choices for everyone. Great staff- friendly!! Enjoy!
Best Pizza Ever! Period! First time visit tonight and now a lifetime of the best pizza is what I'm looking forward to. The nicest and friendliest staff ever! I love that place!! 10 out of 10!!
Our favorite local pizza restaurant!! The ingredients are always fresh, the food is delicious, and the Wise Guys Staff is friendly and helpful. Everything we've tried (over the last 9 years) has been really great - hot & fresh! The chorizo meatball is particularly yummy, and goes great with the pesto twist sticks.
I loved coming across this hidden gem! They have a great selection of unique pizzas (as my favorite was the Hitman--that had a nice blend of toppings & flavors). They seem to be pretty crowded most of the time, so I always prefer to only order to-go. Wise Guys Pizzeria is definitely worth checking out whenever you're in Yorba Linda!

In short, Good neighborhood pizza place. Long lines at peak hours. Nice outdoor seating area. With a few more details, Line can get long and phone can get ignored. Great outdoor seating area. Little bar with TVs for sports games with some inside seating area. The pizza is good and I thing would be considered pan pizza. If you’re looking for NY style, it’s not it but nonetheless the best pizza place in the area. Prices are decent. Dough is good. And flavors are decent as well. Only thing that was a bit disappointing were the garlic knots. They were a bit undercooked. I’ll probably come back.
Had a made to order pizza, with salad. The pizza tasted very good. But it came with very little sauce, & cheese. My wife likes small amounts of cheese, but I don't. It is more expensive to make your own pizza from their ingredients, but they put a lot on. Just the pizza was 34.00 but it came out to 2 different meals for 2 days for 2 people. ( 34÷4=8.5) So 8.5 per meal is worth it. The bartender said no happy hour. But they have a rotating beer selection. So that's good.

Nice little local hang out. Pizza is pretty decent. Only complaint is their topping prices at $2 each. Can get more for the money at Blaze. Or just get plain and add your own toppings at home.
Yummy local pizza joint. Also serves pasta and salad plus gelato. Terrific beer menu. Great outdoor patio that is dog friendly, has TV screen and huge gas fireplace.
My wife and I go here often we love the food the meatballs are bomb sometimes staff is a little overwhelmed though pay attention to what you order sometimes it might not be how you order it had this happen but they did make it right after
Fun and easy atmosphere. Friendly staff - especially the man I assume is the owner or manager...he's a bit more vested in the success I'm thinking! Food very good...not inexpensive but not too outrageous either. Very fair. Garlic knots were a bit dry but overall everyone's dinners we're very yummy!
My husband and I were taken there as guests and we loved it!! There variety of pizzas were very impressive. Very necessary since I'm unable to eat any form of tomato sauce. Go!! You'll be happy you did.
It's the best pizza in town. Hit or miss on the service though... sometimes great... sometimes they look at you like they would rather do anything other than take your pizza order. But... seriously good pies. We love the GI Joe and garlic knots.
Delicious food. Must order at the counter and usually get your own drinks at the bar is the reason for four Stars. Limited indoor seating, but nice big patio if the weather is nice.
We have purchased calzone for years from Wise Guys and normally it is excellent. Tonight we were disappointed because we opened the box when we got home and the calzone was dark (burned) and there was no marinara sauce. After calling the restaurant, the service person gave us credit for another calzone when we call in a new order in the future. They deserve a second chance based on their past record. The restaurant was very busy and is well liked in the community. There is a nice sitting area outside that is heated. They also serve excellent ice cream and offer other dishes, including Pizza. The beer selection is excellent and has a lot of variety. The staff was very pleasant.
All the food I've had has been good. My favorite sandwich is the pastrami. They put an Italian twist it that is delicious. The bread is soft, but crispy on the outside. It has a good balance of meat and veggies. I've enjoyed every salad and pizza. The craft beer selection is better than average. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is the service. Some of the servers are great, but unfortunately not all are. Twice I was completely done with my salad before my husband was served his sandwich. Sorry, but that is not acceptable. Another positive note is they have a casual dog friendly patio.
Ordered take out. A pizza and a calzone. Pizza was alright. My calzone was very dry, they didn't put Cheese. Worst money spent. I prefer Marris.
Final edit: it’s only fair to give one more star since we’ve come back weekly after our first experience. My kid loves the pizza and we like the beer selection. It’s certainly a good local spot that serves up pizza to a constant stream of customers. Original post: Been here for an hour. They had technical difficulties and told us very late that the pizza was delayed. Then they keep saying 3-5 min every 5 min. Nothing but we didn’t know and sorry for the inconvenience. You prepay here so you’re stuck and they don’t offer anything as an apology you just sit and wait for over an hour for your cheese pizza. Never again. Edit- bumping them to 3 stars bc they did end up making it better with an offer to cover a round of drinks. And the pizza was good once we finally got it. However with 13 people behind the counter, not kidding, it’s shocking it took them 30 min to realize their system wasn’t printing orders and nothing was in the queue to be made with tables full and orders being placed.
Pizza here was better than expected. Liked the spicy pizza sauce, Italian sausage, and fresh herbs. You can truly build your own pizza from the crust up and the service was decent too. Will try them again when I have a hankering for pizza.

Nice spot for some good pizza bar type food. Not a fan of soggy pizza (Mediterranean Pizza) but the overall taste was not bad. My husband ordered the garlic knots and they were good and the marinara sauce was okay. My husband’s pizza (Build your own) was lacking sauce but the waitress brought him a side of spicy marinara sauce and it good. The bruschetta was good and plentiful. If your lookin for a laid back spot for watching sports and beer drinking then this place is it.

Wait for the majority of our order took longer than expected, this was before the rush. No plates were provided for the shared pizza and no one asked if we needed refills on our drinks. I had to go ask for one missing item that was ordered which should have been first to come out, soup. I do believe it was forgotten.
Most people in our party had pizza and were quite happy with it. I had Linguine with clams and it wasn't like any linguine and clams I've had before and it was not good.
American pizzeria and sports bar, nothing spectacular or new. Average pizza, good sport bar and nice patio on the back for families.
The food here is very inconsistent. I'd love to give it more stars as the service is always friendly and the outdoor patio space is really great. The pizza is sometimes tasty, and sometimes straight unappetizing. The crust is often incredibly thin and the bottom floppy while it has a giant outer crust. I feel like it's a way to put less toppings and cheese on the pizza by putting such a giant outer crust on the pie. Whenever I go for a kids baseball function I always hope to be more impressed but I can only give it 3 stars.
Sometimes decent pizza served slowly and inaccurately by a revolving door of literal children. Overpriced and inconsistent. Poorly managed, or at least lacking an effective training program. Decent beer list, nice secure patio area, and amazing garlic knots are the only thing keeping this place running. Good location, but literally willing to order pizza from domino's (three doors down, weirdly) rather than roll the dice on the pizza being properly prepared at WG. Would be a regular if they could fix the service and avoid the coin flip odds of a wet floppy crust.
Definitely a family place. Comfort food more than anything else. The patio seating is nice , but the the place can get very crowded with kids running around. The garlic knots are probably the best option on the menu
The food was good, service was slow. We ordered 1 full sandwich and 1 half sandwich (with no subs) and two drinks, took the cook 30 minutes from when we ordered them, the place was 20% at most full. It was ridiculous that it took that long, we saw others that ordered after us get their large pizzas.
We just got two small pizza’s that we called in an order for. They made the wrong size pizza’s. I ordered a personal size pizza and my friend ordered a small. They were both made as small’s. The order was not ready when we arrived so we had to wait for over an extra 30 minutes. I started to eat my pizza and then realized that it was burned!! It was tasteless and so crunchy that I had a difficult time eating it.
Loud and sorta clean. Weird mix of cafeteria style service and table side. Food was mediocre, even though we tried a mix of several didhes. Everything was blanketed in parmesan. Can't recommend the pasta as that was our least favorite. The calzone was good but could of been cooked a we bit more. Recommendation pizza pick-up only.
This is the fourth time that I’ve ordered wiseguys pizza for pick up. I ordered a small four topping pizza with pepperoni, sausage, onion, and olive and this is the way it came. I like my pizza to taste fresh and not as if it was re-cooked. This pizza seems to be overcooked and burnt. Pizza should not look like this when you order it fresh

Great food usually. Very loud. Be prepared to have little screaming children running around throwing balls and things while the local parents/employees don't do anything about it. Felt like I was legitimately at Chuck E. Cheese. Won't be back.
Terrible management. Left with cold food. Terrible customer service and management. Went in on Friday with my husband to help our community, found a corner table on the patio, ordered a couple drinks and a pizza and a pizza cookie to go. Finished our drinks, went inside order not ready, ordered 2 more drinks, finished those. Back inside this time to the counter, followed up on order, told order coming out right now. They told us they would find us outside. Another 10 minutes pass, back inside to fo,low up on order, now told they forgot to make the pizza cookie. So, now our done pizza is waiting on their counter. Finally, received our order pizza cold to touch and cookie was hot. Starving, we left. Got in the car they forgot the icecream for the cookie. Inside about 10 people behind the counter, waited my turn, asked for the ice cream, waited another 3 different people asked to help me because I'm waiting, finally asked for a manager 2 gentleman came out, tried using Covid as an excuse. No excuse! Poor service probably due to management training. They did not apologize they had so many people behind the counter not one could check an order before going into the oven, or brought out to a waiting customer, or helped promptly. I was upset, I left with a cold pizza and cookie for my family for dinner. But I had a cup of cold icecream. Save your money for a business who appreciates you!
BYOR! (Bring your own ranch) Just spent $110 on pizza and knots. Limit is 3 sm cups of ranch dressing. 🤦♂️ I guess that's ok tho cuz the knots were basically uncooked dough. Oh well. The family loves the pizza, I just don't see it.
I ordered a thin and crispy pepperoni and I got thin and floppy pepperoni there was no crisp maybe a little on the outside edges they definitely need to learn how to cook the pizza a little longer pepperoni was all right had a good little kick to it sauce was good it just wasn't crispy at all and wayyyyyyy tooooooo greassssssyyyyyy
I'm only giving it 2 stars cause the last couple times both the service and food was way below expectation. Running out of pitchers or glassware should never be a problem, yet it was. Last time we ordered pizza with easy sauce and cooked extra, it must have been upside-down day, cause we got pizza with extra sauce, and barley cooked.. Ugh..
Wife and I went tonight. She had spaghetti marinara and I ordered a salad. Her dish came out 10 min before mine. When my salad arrived, it was loaded with dressing. It had way too much dressing so I asked them to replace it. I asked them to give me a Cesar with chicken. The Manager brought it over and said he would have to charge me for the replacement. I asked why, you guys put too much dressing on it and he said because i returned it and didn’t complain about it, he had to charge me. I said forget it. I didn’t ask for a refund we just left. Never going back.
Food is okay with a large variety from pizza to pasta. Garlic knots, slightly warm and over cooked When I comes to the service at the bar, I had to learn patience...slow service. The bartender seemed annoyed and bothered I asked for a straw for my wife soda. After waiting 10 min for an employee in the restroom, we went somewhere else.
I’ve been a loyal customer of wiseguys’s pizza. Yesterday when I ordered delivery, I was very disappointed. The pizza, the cheese, the crust and sauce were all different. The quality was very poor.

These guys does not know how to customize the pizza. Every time I customize pizza they screwed. This time is big hype. I paid them for double cheese and what they have done they did not put any cheese on base. And on top just a little. I told them multiple times and then also this kind of service. Their pizza is also not cheap compared to others. But their pizza looks really cheap quality if you custom built it. Even toppings are also not spread evenly one slice is completely full of mushroom and another one is completely full of jalapeño. Pathetic.

Wings tasted like they were cooked earlier and reheated. (Rubbery) They came to our table within 2 minutes which tells me they were made earlier. Came to war h the game and drink a few Coors lights. Sorry to say they don't offer Coors light either. Very disappointing. Spent $43.00. Won't be back
Greasy soggy pizza. Cooking times are over an hour and estimated times are more than 20 minutes off. Immature staff is too busy making jokes with each other to get you your pizza and they let mine sit on the counter for 10 minutes until I had to ask twice to 2 different people in order to get my food. And the food sucked. Never coming here again.
Just the facts here, Overpriced, for Greasy, soggy mediocre pizza! People in YL are raving about this place, why? It's because they really don't know good pizza. Go to Queens NYC, try the pizza just once, then you will come back to YL and say... wise guys is mediocre, and over-priced.
the service was non existent and it took 53 minutes for 3 pizzas. I had a take out order that was separate and I put it in 1 minute after my in house order and that took 64 minutes. I'm sorry, but that's pathetic. there's never any apology for the delay. its poorly run. pizza is terrific as it should be for $20+ a pizza
Pizza was ok. The staff is there to hang out. They aren't really worried about the customer's and the salad was horrible I got the ass end of the lettuce head. The wise guys is ORANGE is much better and ran professionally!
I ordered a small and personal pizza. They gave me and charged me for 2 small pizzas. One of the pizzas was burned. They told me 40 minutes and it took 1 hour for them to get it ready, so I ended up waiting for them. They charged me almost $45. I will not be back.
Showed up to pick up my phone order and there was zero interest in helping me. One poor employee was on the phone taking an order while trying to get the four other employees standing around chit chatting at the front to help me. One, named Brianna, really took her time to finish up her conversation before walking to the other side of the counter and finally help me out. With that kitchen as packed as it was and not a very full venue, that poor level of service is laughable. Not coming back here again. It wasn’t worth the drive.
We usually get great service, in and out but today pushed the bounds of reason. We arrived after the lunch rush and inside it was just the two of us and 2 people each at 2 other tables and they already had their food. Ordered a sausage sandwich and 2 iced teas. The tea got poured immediately and the the wait for the sausage sandwich. Usually they come out within 5-10 minutes. 25 minutes in I asked about our food to the server who stated " yeah it usually takes 25 minutes". 30 minutes in I went to the register to check and the server ran over, spoke to the cook and the told the cashier he has it and told me 10 more minutes. I asked him, 40 minutes is a long time to make a sandwich but he just shrugged his shoulders. By now people who came in 10 minutes after us are receiving their food and we're still waiting. Maybe 2 orders of meatballs, 2 salads are quicker that a sausage sandwich but it doesn't seem so. Hmmm, just noticed another table that came in after the other table have also received their food. Finally, 43 minutes later our food arrived! Hopefully is the same great food we've always received.
Just moved up the street and was excited to try it. Ordered pickup over the phone. Was placed on hold and had to give my order multiple times to different people. Bad customer service and the pizza was cold and not made well just pretty terrible. Kinda bummed cuz it’s up street and we love good pizza. Probably won’t try again. Never do negative reviews but if I was the owner I’d want to know.
First time to this place. The girl taking the order was not clear explaining the menu. She seemed angry. Nice place. But quality of food for price not reasonable, too expensive for a frozen greasy Lasagna and salad. The patio is the only this place has going for itself
DO NOT ORDER DELIVERY OTHER THAN PIZZA! The food is amazing but every time we order delivery, something is always missing or it’s entirely wrong. I will say they are always apologetic and often refund but it’s 4 out of 5 times wrong. Lesson learned.
Wise guys absolutely socks. Ordered pizza at 4:30. Told it would take an hour. Arrived at 5:30 to pick pizza up. Did not get my pizza until 7:00. 2 hours plus was the average wait, and they never stopped taking orders. They put profits over their customers. Don't ever order pizza here on any busy day, you will regret it. And the pizza sucked because they were way too busy. Profits and quality over service and quality!!!!
