This place is so reasonably priced considering how yummy this place is. Wow. I was skeptical of the reviews but you definitely get your monies worth.

We took our grandma for her 101 birthday and the food was delicious. The service was amazing and they made a special birthday sushi dish for grandma. We will be back!

My first time trying their sushi, and it was an amazing experience! Every piece was fresh, delicious, and savory. Easily one of the best sushi spots in Laguna Niguel. They even accommodated our request for less mayonnaise on one of the rolls, showcasing great customer service. This small restaurant clearly has a high turnover of food, which speaks to its popularity.

This little gem of a sushi restaurant never disappoints! We have been coming here since 2021 and love the variety of menu choices. You’ll never get bored of their menu. They even make their crispy onions and other toppings in house.

Very delicious food. I actually crave it now at least once twice a week depending on what’s going on with my day I remember coming here years ago and I never came back because I didn’t like the food or the portions. However, I noticed that the decor changed and it’s been Changed over I think because now the food is just amazing. The vegetables are fresh they give you a really nice portion and they are very nice. Their customer service is really great. I’m a picky eater and they helped me pick! 🥰 yummy choice any time of day/night!!!

This is hands down the best sushi place around. I love sushi and I've tried all the "best of OC" and I still drive out of my way to go here. I've eaten inside (pretty small, only a few tables) and I've gotten platters and plates to go. My favorite is the kamikaze roll. It has black rice and it is unbelievably great. Also, the tempura sauce is amazing. Not sure how their sauce is so good. The woman who runs the front is the nicest and they have always been so helpful and accommodating. You won't go wrong here fr!

Nice little sushi place in a small strip mall. Food was fresh and tasty. Tempura could have been crispier. There are only few tables for dine in. It seems there were a lot of pick up orders. The service was quick and there are plenty of parking spaces available

LOVE Honsan!! High quality, delicious, and affordable sushi! The Forbidden Rice (purple rice) rolls and the Special Rolls are so creative and colorful. The rock-n-roll roll is my favorite! Sashimi are good portions and very fresh. Super G is vegetarian and really good. Honestly you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. The restaurant is run by a cute hardworking family. :) You can dine inside, but it’s very small and great for takeout.

This was a super cute and cozy little restaurant. Service was great and the food was good as well. I like purple rice a lot but I've never had it in sushi format and it was surprisingly good. The purple rice felt a little bit dry in the AhiAhi Roll, but the fish was well seasoned and delicious. Will definitely come back again!

Ordered the Ichiban roll to go thinking it would be average given the quality of sushi at Laguna Niguel, and I was wonderfully proven wrong. It tastes fantastic! Will definitely be coming back again.

What an adorable sushi stop! Took a couple friends here (they eat sushi way more than I do) and they said that it was great! I thoroughly enjoyed it as well for someone thay does not usually eat sushi. Clearly well made and delicious, perfect for a to-go sushi fix. P.S. get the potstickers, they're amazing.

I want my review to literally reflect the 4.8 currently for this restaurant. The food is good, but with some reservations. First off, the sushi was fresh and tasty. My daughter loves sushi and they did not disappoint. I ordered the Bento box with the beef teriyaki upgrade. The teriyaki was fantastic, definitely home made and had superb flavor. The problem was the meat. It had the distinctive taste that it had been left to marinate in the blood of the meat. Understandable, while it didn't ruin the meal, the taste did give me pause. Everything else, the tempura, salad, and California rolls; were excellent. The service left me puzzled. The young lady at the counter was friendly and helpful. However, it would have been nice to know we could have ordered at our table instead of the counter. Minor quibbles aside, the food is great and the service was excellent. Definitely a place to check out in Laguna Beach.

We were there last minute, they politely offered the take out, and the service was great, even the miso soup was a different experience. Highly recommend!

Travel all over the western US for work and always order salmon bento boxes. This is top 3 hands down, maybe even #1! Excellent price and portions. Sushi rolled properly, tasted so fresh. Tempura batter was perfect, proper ginger dressing for the salad. Big salmon portion and was delicious. I would've taken a picture, but it's too late now ha! Very happy
