I recently had the pleasure of dining at this amazing sushi restaurant, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations! The quality of the fish was incredibly fresh, the flavors were perfectly balanced, and every bite was a true delight. The presentation of the dishes was absolutely beautiful, showcasing the chef’s attention to detail. The service was outstanding—friendly, attentive, and efficient. The ambiance was warm and inviting, making the whole dining experience even more enjoyable. Whether you’re a sushi lover or trying it for the first time, this place is a must-visit. I can’t wait to come back and enjoy more of their delicious creations!
I was pleasantly surprised with this place. The sushi quality was very good and I really much appreciated their large menu.
all the food here is amazing the service is great the people here are super kind the food here is always super amazing i come here every week my favorite sushi is the popcorn i love coming here after tournament with my team mates but ten out or ten would recommend
I feel this place was a hidden gem. My brother-in-law and myself enjoyed a nice bro. Date here. We will definitely be coming back. Albacore is amazing here.
My wife and I have been going to Musashi Sushiya for a couple years now and have always loved this place. I am extremely critical when it come to sushi and they never disappoint. This place has been here for quite some time, my wife and I recently decided to drop by after Going to El Toro Meat Market. Wow, I cannot believe it took us so many years to find this place, it is a hidden Gem! The staff is friendly, and Sushi Chefs are great, and the Sushi is beyond excellent!
This place is really good. Great atmosphere and the sushi was delicious. I loved the ABC roll.
Accidentally, stumbled upon this sushi restaurant. Must eat here when the Professionals Japanese chefs are working around 3pm. We were looking for a ramen and sushi restaurant and this place was a jackpot. The ramen are sooo delicious. Their sushi are soooo yummy. We will come back again.
Sapporo on tap $6, hot sake $4 or get both as a combo for $7. Great salmon skin, spicy scallop and yellowtail sushi rolls ($4 ish) as well as Bruin roll ($10) and salmon skin salad ($7) excellent quality and expertly prepared (as pictured). Attentive staff. Brilliant place.

I loved the seafood ramen. Delicious and cheap. And the staffs are nice.
Always great service and great food. Great selection of 50% off rolls too, so I can eat here more often!
Really good food. Fish was fresh and service was fast and friendly too. Will be back.
Outstanding customer service ! Love the environment and the food is AMAZING !💓💓✨😇 my favorite sushi spot ! Definitely recommend ^~^
I tried the curry chicken today, and oh lord, I've never had such fantastic curry in my life. Every single bite was to die for!
We love this place and are here almost every week. Great food, great value. I could not recommend it more.
Great food and the service is great. They have really good prices and a great selection on the 50% rolls.
We really enjoyed sitting at the bar with whom are sushi chef was Bruce he really did take care of us and the food was so fresh and tasty will definitely be going back
I’ve ordered from here close to a dozen times and it never fails to impress me. The food here is even great as takeout, which I think is tougher to do with sushi. Love it!
Went there for the first time on Saturday for lunch. Great friendly customer service and DELICIOUS SUSHI!! We sat at the sushi bar and were impressed with the low-priced quality sushi. Will definitely be going back! The sushi chefs know what they're doing and can make what you want even if it's not exactly on the menu.
I loved everything, service was great, ambiance was nice too. We used to go to Minato across the street, but it stinks there! (Literally) this spot had good food, decent prices and great, Friday service!
We finally found a great sushi place after our last one closed. Everyone is friendly and the sushi is amazing! Even better was the bill. It was half the cost of other places we have gone too. We will be returning on a regular basis!
This is my wife and my favorite sushi place. It always has quick and great service. The food is quality and inexpensive. This place is always a great pick for date night. The only thing you need to pick is the garlic edamame, it's phenomenal.
This place is in my top 3 fav sushi places! They are always so friendly and seem to have sushi specials every time I go. They don't have ayce, or mimosa. Check out the specialty rolls ( I believe that's what they're called) you get about 8 pieces and most have generous toppings on top... very filling! Highly recommend!!
I Love Sushi!! I am 57 years old and have eating sushi since I was 10 years old . Musashi Sushi Never lets me down... My go to sushi , specially if I need a delivery. Tastes as fresh as if they prepared it in front of me. Highly Recommend
This place is amazing! REALLY good sushi. This is the second time we came and everything we tried was delicious! Especially the albacore. As well as great service!
Great food, great prices, and great atmosphere, but it's the staff that keeps us coming back almost weekly. The service is outstanding and they couldn't be nicer.
Came here on Wednesday and had an awesome experience! The servers were amazing, Moises and Raul were really nice and helpful with the menu. I will be coming here more often!
My friend took me to this place and every week, i never miss to dine in this nice restaurant. Delicious food and the service is exceptional.
It wad our first time to Musashi and we left very sasitfied. The appetizers and rolls were amazing. Great quality, great service. Will definitely go back.
Fish is very high quality and they have a ton of different rolls. They are pretty pricey but the fish is always good.
Excellent food and service! We ordered the bento boxes and we enjoyed every bite. The freshest salmon and sushi 🍣. We will be back often.
I'm in love with this restaurant! I do my laundry at the mat in the same lot, and I'm so happy I found this place! And my family is in love with this restaurant too, cause I introduced them to it!
Consistently good sushi, with at least 60% of the patrons being Asian, which sounds racist, I know, but I consider it an endorsement to the taste and quality of the restaurant. Great service and the restaurant is quiet enough to have a conversation, which is nice.
Awesome & authentic sushi restaurant. The food here is delicious, excellent service and good prices. I’ve been eating here with my friends & family for over ten years. This is my go to casual sushi spot in Orange County. There is a chill ambient vibe as classic rocks plays in the relaxed family restaurant with a friendly staff and full menu. Call ahead because they get busy for dinner. If you want quality food, good service with eastern culture this restaurant is it! Great place to share some rolls with friends or take your lady out! :)
Very fresh fish here! Tuna at other places usually have a smell but not this place. Fatty salmon belly was a choice we were very glad to make. Quality is obvious a top priority and we had a great time.
This restaurant has been one of my favorites in the area. Been coming here for7 years, with friends and family. They have 50% of select sushi&rolls ALL DAY EVERYDAY!!! Thankfully they’re still open for takeout orders during the pandemic!! As a regular customer i appreciate them being opened and still serving the same great quality sushi. The staff is always so welcoming and friendly and that’s another reason why i like coming here. Back when we would dine in, the servers were always attentive and friendly. I sometimes would sit at the bar with the chefs and have a couple drinks while they prepared our favorites. Right before quarantine, the restaurant had 2 new sushi chefs which are professional , extremely funny and can make great food, hopefully once things go back to normal, you can sit down and share a nice chat with them and get to know the great staff With that said i highly recommend this place and very very happy they’re still doing takeouts. Can’t wait to be back next week!!
Just finished our remote order. Tasty California roll. Generous amount of wasabi and ginger on the side. Thank you! My husband said the Inari reminded him of his mother’s. The menu looks good…we plan to visit soon.
Food was fresh and scrumptious. Brought my daughter here for a date night, and it was a great time. We could hear each other speak and ordering was a breeze. I believe we ordered 5 rolls. Bill was about $30 including tip. We did wait a while for the bill, but our sushi chef, who I can't remember his name, offered us complimentary ice cream while we waited. My daughter didn't care for it but I thought it was delicious! We are definitely going back to try all of the different rolls!
I've been coming to Musashi for years and even during quarantine, we still kept coming back because of the great food and great prices. Now that they are open for indoor seating we decided to try it out (we had only been doing takeout orders until this point). We felt very safe and like things were returning to normal. It was a really great date night and we will 100% be coming back soon.
It was so good. I'd go plenty more times. Their Mango Tango is a slice of heaven. The ABC and Rainbow Roll is really good too. Their Garlic Edamame is to die for. Udon is one of the best I've tasted yet! Their servers were kind and very helpful. I would definitely recommend it!
Wonderful staff, amazing selection of sushi! Decently priced for the quality you get. My Mom and I come here after the Farmer's Market on Sunday mornings and everything is always fantastic.
Quiet environment, amazing owners. Tried out their rolls, sushi and chicken teriyaki. Price was well worth the food and service. Not only were the servers attentive, the food was delicious. Definitely a must try if you are in the area. Highly recommend
Best experience in any restaurant ever - my teammates and i always go here after tourneys - perfect portions for when youre really hungry after a long day and fast service. by far my most favorite sushi place ever
Came this past Labor Day and the food was so good. Customer service was great too. They have a 50% off every day all day of select sushi. Definitely loved the affordable delicious sushi. We live near by so now this is our staple when we want sushi. Will return again for sure! Thank you for making our Labor Day!
We like their sushi and sashimi boat as well as yakisoba noodles. Love the service and ambiance.
Great atmosphere, very good service. Food is delicious as well. People are very kind
Outstanding Japanese food and exceptional service and ambiance. You can’t go wrong and you will classify this restaurant as a DR (Do Return) We certainly do There are many choices that you can make to spend your hard earned money these days and many vying for your patronage. This restaurant has the best of all worlds. The pleasant atmosphere and the superb cuisine will always keep you coming back for more. We have never had a bad meal or unpleasant experience. We heartily recommend that you find out for yourselves too. Ask for Oliver and Grace when you come in. They will take good care of you. Frank and Rhoda Mission Viejo CA
Great food and nice workers. I've been coming here for almost a year, it's usually my go-to sushi place. I especially love the heart attack roll. Would highly recommend , I just wish the place had different lighting.
Sushi was great. Service was on point. We were a large group. The waitress checked us and made sure we had what we needed.

Went for lunch Pretty good.. Sushi was fine. Rolls seemed small, though. Prices were average for the area.
Go during the winter, the inside is warm. Friendly and good service. Good quality is good, we ate until we were stuffed.
The sushi and rolls are very much on the cheaper side! The quality of fish is really good too! Especially compared to the other sushi restaurants near them
The food is very fresh and good. Their fresh oysters are exceptional....very plump and rich. The eel rice is excellent to have weeds mix in it. The rice is soft and yet not mushy. As for the service, it's a mix of good and arrogant. Some of the sushi and rolls are 50% at lunch time.
Great Korean Sushi Joint. Excellent yellow tail belly. Great philly roll. Great uni. Sushi rice is tasty. There are bugs flying around this place and it is very annoying. Especially when the bugs land in your drink or all over you when you are trying to eat. The fish and rice quality were surprisingly great. I would eat here again but get it to go. Good luck.
The ramen broth and spicy tuna specialty I had were tasty, but the service was a bit lacking; there probably ought to be more serving staff to cut down on wait times. The front of the house was definitely the bottleneck. Our takeout order was ready when we arrived to pick it up 30 minutes after we ordered, yet it took us an additional 25 minutes to get rung up while our food sat on the counter.
This is the only sushi place I currently go to. I have never gotten sick or had bad service. The staff are all super nice and and the service is fast. The pricing is fantastic and does not mean you lose the qaulity of the the fish... the fish is fresh and does not taste super fishy.
Amazing sushi service really good only when certain people are there seem to have alot of turnover in staff due to management..great sushi been going there for years swear buy food but not by management
Affordable prices and I was very impressed with that. The sushi wasn't bad but we went there for ramen and it was.....ehhh to say the least. Broth was very bland..I guess that's what you get for buying ramen from a sushi place. The 2 rolls we bought were great for the price though.
Good little hole in the wall sushi place. Service is lacking sometimes but the food more than makes up for it. Their 50% off rolls are a great deal!
Went during lunch on a Wednesday when their sushi rolls were 50% off. I got the Philadelphia roll and the crunchy shrimp tempura roll. Very nice!
Good service, decent sushi and at a great price. All the food is really good.
Good tasting sushi. Great variety of rolls and quality of fish. A decent amount of rolls that aren’t super expensive depending on what you want. Service was good as well; multiple servers checked on us during our meal. My one suggestion would be to update the photos on the menu or make it clearer in some other way the size of the rolls. Some were much bigger than we expected, so we ordered too much. Sushi isn’t the best thing to have to take home
The food was delicious but the service was very slow. Had dinner there on a Sunday night and there was only one server. He was hustling to be sure, but there was no way he could keep up with taking care of everyone. When we finally got our food it was delicious though. Try the spicy albacore and garlic roll. If they hire another server they'll get a fifth star from me.
First time dining in wasn't great, but when ordering Uber eats, I gave this restaurant another chance and really liked the 3 rolls I picked. Mango tango, crunch roll and sunshine roll, the latter being my favorite. The other day we came in for dine in again and tried spicy albacore roll with crunchy onions. Both me and my boyfriend thoroughly enjoyed it. Service was great as well. Their broad roll menu and fresh fish will have me coming back
Korean owned sushi restaurant. I regret going here after looking at all the good reviews. We just swallowed the food because it wasn’t cheap. All of our food came out separately, the restaurant wasn’t that busy but they did have a lot of takeout orders. It would have been better to go to the food court at Mitsuwa, high quality food at low prices.
Green tea and service awesome. Dine in Sushi was warm, not super fresh. Salad was wilted. What’s with all the great reviews OC peeps. We can do better. 😢

This review is only the 50% off menu. The 50% off menu offers decent value for sushi and rolls. The rolls have a few extra fillers and the fish is mostly minced.
It is average at best, ur typical Chinese sushi restaurant, fish is questionable, weird sweet sauces on my kampachi are a no no. Avoid if you are into traditional japanese food. I blame all of you that only spicy tuna covered in wasabi, what is the point dude! I'm out. :(
Good food, friendly staff, but expensive and confusing. Instead of taking orders, the waiters give you a card for you to fill out with what you want to eat. A little nitpicky, I know...
Food was great but they were blaring some crazy hardcore metal in the dinning room on top of something completely different back in the kitchen. It was a cacophony of ear death.
Sushi is good, but their ramen is likely the worst you can have California (not kidding). Not a big fan of this place, which needs a big improvement to remain competitive.
The sushi can be prepared a little better, and the rolls can use more tightening. Consequently, I gave the restaurant 3 stars because of it's service, which I felt can use improvement. I didn't care for the staff taking your order and dropping off food like a drive-through without saying one word.
I personally wouldn't recommend here if their only rating sushi or sashimi but my daughter eat plain udon and ca.rolls it's good for something simple. The service was horrible.
My fiance and I came here on Sat afternoon to get some sushi to go on the way back home. We were kinda of undecided if we should order here but we ended up ordering due to the persistence of the owner. We ordered from the 50% off menu which wasn't too bad price wise. I wasn't too impressed with the quality and selection on the menu. It was okay for what it was worth in my opinion. I think after eating sushi in Japan, sushi in America doesn't taste as good. We ate the sushis at home but the texture and taste probably wasn't as good if we had it in the restaurant. Undecided if I would return. My sister and her family like to eat at this place.
The service was fine but the fish quality was not really that great. I've never seen a salmon hand roll that I couldn't finish until today.
Horrible. Don't go here if you're hoping for a quality dine in experience. The manager said it was because they are short staffed which was clear but the employees gave a different reason. The avocado was brown and the salmon was likely fresh a week ago. I wouldn't risk it.
It was my first time trying this place and their ramens were looking really yummy in the pictures. But what I received wasn’t as expected. I had seafood udon and seafood ramen. I specially checked the pictures to make sure that shrimp doesn’t come with the shell, but when I opened my food at home it was full of shrimps with shells and even you could find shrimps eyes. It was disgusting. Couldn’t even eat a single bite. Maybe I shouldn’t order ramen from sushi place.

What a horrible experience! This was our first visit and last. I mentioned to our waiter that we had only received 1 of the 2 sushi orders, and what a foul response and attitude I received in return from the waiter and the manager. Not only did the waiter tell me I had no common sense because I didn't know they placed both orders onto 1 plate but I had the manager shout at me and after addressing this with her, she apologized and admitted this was her style. I then tried to place another small order, and she condescendedly replied "You want more?" When I tried to explain to her my request, she chose to walk away and right after delivered our check. I must say, this experience is not a good example of customer service. I can't say I have ever experienced this before but at least I know that I will never return.
This review is for third party mobile pickup orders (grubhub, doordash, Uber eats etc). They just can’t manage the pickup time because they just set pickup time like 15 min after order has been received instead of changing it to like 45+ min ready time. In reality those orders takes at least 45 min to over 1h to make. I see lot of drivers waiting 30+ minutes for nothing. If you order from this place, make sure to leave a descent tip for drivers, or come pick it up yourself.
My girlfriend and I visited this location at 7:30 to 8:00 p.m. on a sunday. The staff seemed very unorganized even though they were not unreasonably busy. They sat us next to two mid 20s males who were obviously extremely intoxicated however the server continued to over serve and bring three more bottles of sake. And you guessed it, the inebriated males continued to get aggressive with their behavior and started to walk around and annoy and talk to other patrons. One of them tried to talk to me and I told him I did not want to speak to him. This of course set them off. I had to take control of the situation and they finally left after telling them we'd call the police if they didn't leave. During all of these actions, the staff do not take control of the situation of the two overly intoxicated customers in their establishment. On top of this while we were watching the drunks make a fool of themselves and annoy other patrons, it took 45 minutes for our miso and edamame to simply get there. Within the hour we finally got all of our food and the food was okay. The server continued to bring drinks to the inebriated patrons. Under California law, it is a misdemeanor for an establishment to continue to serve alcoholic beverages to obviously inebriated or intoxicated patrons. The staff at this location did not directly cause the disturbance that these two males did, but they enabled it and allowed it to happen. Even when the two males caused the disturbance, they did nothing to intervene or to stop it. I asked several servers for the name and phone number of the owner and they said they would get it to me, but they never did. One older female staff was pointed out to me by a server to be the owner and I confronted her asking her who the owner of the establishment was and she said she is not. I asked for the name and number of the restaurant and she said she did not know. I had to ask several times for the name and number of the owner of the restaurant, and she finally gave me the name of Anne. It was obvious this female I was talking to was a manager or owner of the restaurant and refused to talk to me about the situation that I occurred. Please stay away from this location. They caused an unsafe situation, were un professional, unorganized, and overall a poor service.
I ordered sushi to compliment my dinner. It never came. After we completed our meal still no sushi. I told the waiter. He "said" he took it off my bill and asked for my card. He charged me for the sushi. I never received it and he said he did not charge me on two separate occasions.
We have been going here for a while because they usually have good food, but last night the service was horrible. The people that came in after us got a seat before us, sitting at the same size table, a four top. They also were served food, while we waited another 20 minutes before the hostess took our sushi order. We had to flag down the busboy for drinks. Edemame had a hair in it. Sashimi never came. Had to flag down a busboy for that too. Worst service ever. Will not be returning.
Just ordered over $100 of sushi and 2 bites through, it was all in the trash. To make things worse, it took almost two hours to deliver on Uber eats. The food quality is horrendous. Please save your time and money and avoid this restaurant.
Please don’t accept delivery orders if you can’t handle it!!!! You guys are wasting time of delivery people. Every minute is money for us. I (and other people) waited 30 minutes to get the order. We don’t get paid for waiting and canceling the order affects our acceptance rate….
Service was decent but the fish is gross! I ordered a special that came with 6 pieces of sushi, salad, miso soup and choice of 1 roll. I couldn't even finish what I had ordered purely out of disgust. The fish has a strange gummy taste and texture and their spicy mayo literally tastes like just mayo. Parts of the roll were dry and hard to chew. The salad was pretty good but the miso had the same kind of strange taste as the fish. Of the 6 pieces of sushi, 2 had this clear, extremely spicy, wasabi type sauce on it that burned into my sinuses but not the other pieces. So I was dipping into wasabi soy sauce, not knowing the intense discomfort I would shortly be experiencing. I won't be back. What a waste of $25. Minato across the street has fresher fish and their staff is very kind.
This restaurant is a rip-off! They don't give the client a fair portion of fish in any of their dishes. The Sushi chef is a minimalist. I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone!
My fiancee and I came here to have dinner, and we were seated rather quickly. However, I can't speak to the quality of the food nor the drinks because after we were seated, a server never came to our table. We tried many times to flag a server down, even to order just drinks or get water, but we were completely ignored. This was especially unfortunate for the table nearest to us because they had been able to order drinks, but were unable to order anything more or even get the check since they were also unsuccessful in getting a server's attention. After 30 minutes of never being acknowledged, we left. This establishment seems to be more interested in fulfilling online takeout orders than the customers already in the building, as those orders were being churned out the door.
Too warm had a fan on. Not sure ac was on Teraki steak was tough and grisly. Not enough sauce on it to taste. Ordered more sauce got charged extra for Teraki sauce Use be better. Maybe new owners. Use to go there a lot. Disappointed 😞
This past Sat.Aug.26h I ordered take out sushi and got food poisoning from some kind of bacteria such as salmonella or listeriosis causing me to have nausea and vomiting. "I reported this right away to the owner (GRACE) and she was apathetic and indifferent and seemed very detached from my reported incident. I should ad that I have been a loyal customer for years , very concerning that an owner did not care.
Food was low quality. Taste, flavor, profiles, and the presentation were pretty undesirable. My girlfriend and I had plenty of leftovers and decided not to take anything home. The service was lousy was as well. I don’t normally leave reviews, but I was compelled because of this negative experience to share and warn others
