Hemos comido dos personas con reserva. La carta sin ser excesivamente larga, tiene algo seguro que te gustará. Lo típico es el atún y la paella, aunque hay platos para todos los gustos. Nosotros hemos comido carpaccio de atún y unas anchoas con aguacate o guacamole, no estoy segura, encima de unas tostadas de pan finas y el carpaccio también, los dos platos estaban buenísimos, muy gustosos y bien elaborados y de segundo la típica paella marinera, también muy buena, en su punto. De postre un couland de chocolate con helado de turrón y pastel de queso, también muy buenos los postres. El servicio muy atento y amable, han tardado un poco con el primer plato pero luego ha ido todo seguido. El ambiente, personalmente, me hubiera gustado algo más acogedor, es un restaurante grande y había mucha gente y muchas voces, incluida la de un perro que de tanto en tanto se hacía sentir. El precio no es barato para lo que hemos comido y contando que no bebemos alcohol, hemos pagado unos 82 euros aprox, como la comida estaba buena lo damos por bien pagado

Un buen sitio si estáis por la zona. El precio del menú nos asustó un poco teniendo en cuenta nuestro presupuesto familiar puesto q tienen un menú de 40€.... pero al final nos salió un precio razonable: para los peques hay platos (macarrones, pollo...) a buen precio y los mayores nos pedimos una paella marinera y un arroz negro de sepionet. Estaban las dos espectaculares, muy ricas y de cantidad correcta. El precio por persona es de 17€ creo recordar así q es razonable. De entrante pedimos una burrata con tomate y toque de chile q estaba muy buena. Por cierto, Gisela nos atendió fenomenal. Los cafés nos los tomamos en la terraza y de lujo!!

El local és bastante grande y espacioso. Con un estilo un poco anticuado para mi gusto. Sin embargo, lo verdaderamente importante es la comida y allí es donde sobresale. Pedimos dos entrantes uno de chipirones y otro de mejillones a la marinera deliciosos. Los chipirones crujientes en su punto y los mejillones con una salsa marinera sobresaliente. El plato fuerte vino con el arroz con bogavante para cuatro. El bogavante estaba en su punto y el arroz del Montsià era simplemente delicioso. Para rematar la comida tomamos unos cafés con: un sorbete de limón, una porción pastel de chocolate muy bueno y dos flanes caseros exquisitos. Sin lugar a dudas un sitio muy recomendable si queréis un buen arroz.

La primera vez que estaba en calafat y la verdad que me sorprendió mucho el restaurante. Camarero súper amable , la paella con un saborazo a marisco esquisito y un pulpo que se deshacía en la boca y a la brasa que hace mucho que no comía uno así ! Volveré !

To begin with, the place is excellent, spacious, and tastefully decorated. It has an outdoor area with armchairs and a small playground for children. The service was very good, and the fideuà was spectacular. I must mention that the tartare wasn't quite what I expected, but otherwise, everything was excellent! I highly recommend it!

We had menu del dia. Starters were simple but very tasty, Tomato with tuna salad and Onion rings with hummus. The Onion rings were giant, crispy gold outside and soft inside, just delicious. Main was fideuà, big paella for two with a thin layer of pasta as it should be. A lot of flavour (muy sabrosa),not salty and pasta with bite. Perfect. Dessert was cheesecake, soft and creamy in the center, very well done...

Mainly fish restaurant. Very fresh tuna carpaccio on the most beautiful sea-like blue glass serving dish. Chipirones and fried small fish were both perfect: such light and crunchy coating. The small fish were cleaned but not deboned: better for the shape and easily done yourself.I requested some aïoli and it was brought promptly. Like all the service! We sat outside in shade under the "veles". Calm sofisticated relaxed atmosfere. The Entrecote was also perfect. A minor point: the price of drinks is not in the menu, so you have to guess and wait for the bill (3,50 for glass of wine and 2,40 for a beer, 2,5 for bottle of water). Would recommend to make a reservation.

Beautiful little restaurant in the seaside town of Calafat. You can dine outside or inside. The menu items are varied but the menu is not cluttered with lists. The staff is reasonably friendly and efficient. We also liked the fact that the food is good but inexpensive. Personally I has moules marinière with chips and we ordered a bottle of Muscadet. I highly recommend Les Veles, especially for dining.

Hemos ido a hacer el menú de las jornadas del arresossejat. El menú consistía en puré de calabaza,pescado con setas gratinadas, croquetas de pato y arroz con gambas. Todo muy bueno. El postre, flan cremoso, delicioso. El espacio es muy bonito,con una parte exterior muy agradable.

Volveremos! Pedimos almejas que estaban increíbles y una paella marinera de las mejores que he comido últimamente

We had a menu, and everything was really good. The only thing that disappointed me a little was the duck in the salad, too tough for my taste. The rest was perfect, especially the rice.

Despite the beautiful presentation of the dishes, the food was quite flavourless. Maybe it was because of the vegan options I ordered. The service was slow. They had a lot of tables outside but we still had to wait 30 minutes to get a table. It is overpriced for the amount and quality of the food. Unfortunately, I would not go back.

Fuimos hace unos 5 años y quedamos enamorados de sus arroces, por lo que hoy, aprovechando que estábamos por la zona, hemos decidido repetir. Con mucho dolor, porque el servicio ha sido de diez, la comida ha dejado muchísimo que desear. De primero hemos pedido el pulpo, los chipirones, almejas y mejillones y, aunque estaban buenos, nada a destacar. En cuanto a los arroces que hemos pedido de segundo, la paella marinera tenia muy poco sabor y la de sepia y alcachofas, bastante sosa y sin más, creo que no han sabido sacarle partido. Lo mejor de toda la comida ha sido el postre que aquí sí, un acierto total el brioche. No se si han tenido un mal día, si han cambiado la cocina respecto la vez anterior, pero no sería, después de la comida de hoy, un restaurante que repetiría. Respecto al precio, ha salido a 30€ por persona con vino y café.

Hemos pedido el tartar de carne y tan solo tenía gusto a vinagreta (muy muy fuerte y picante). El pulpo estaba bien, la fritura y los mejillones al vapor también. La joya de la corona, sin duda alguna, es el canelón de pollo rustido y panceta. Está espectacular y lo recomiendo 100%. Calidad precio es caro, pero si vienes a comerte el canelón, no lo dudes porque merece la pena!
