Kat's Steakhouse

We enjoyed our meal on our date night. I would have given full stars on all but the night we ate they had a Christmas party. They were drinking and yelling. If it wasn't a mind numbing at the top of the voice repeated yell it would have gotten full stars. I liked however the cook came to our table and apologized for it personally himself. Then chatted with us. This was a small town dinner with a big country stake house. The food and tea was top notch. 👌 thank you all.

I really enjoyed the food and atmosphere. We met the owner and she was so sweet. The service and food was cooked to perfection. It's difficult to find a gem like this.

One of the best steaks I have ever had! A 10oz fillet that was truly large enough to share between lighter eaters. Potato sides were just as delicious! If you order a large onion rings as an app, you'll be eating thos for days!

This steak house in Lamont, OK, offers excellent food and polite, responsive staff. We were seated quickly after a brief wait at the bar. The cozy, down-home atmosphere is charming but compact, making it less suitable for large dinner parties unless the weather permits outdoor seating. Overall, it's a delightful spot for a meal with great food and attentive service. Just be mindful of the limited indoor space if visiting with a large group.

My husband took me here for my birthday and I loved it. The food was by far the best I’ve had in a long time. All of the staff was very friendly and made sure we were properly taken care of.

The food was amazing. Steaks were cooked perfectly, and the creme brulée was delicious and smooth! Service was spot-on and the atmosphere was intimate and calm. Will definitely go back!

I can’t think of a steak I’ve had that was better than the one I just ate. The sides were incredible, too. And their cocktails are sneaky really good! This is the kind of place you go out of your way for.

Have you ever eaten Iowa beef before?? Their steak reminded me of the times I got to eat a steak in Iowa. Even though this is in a "blink you might miss it" town in the state of Oklahoma, their steaks are melt in your mouth and so tasty. We had a strip and a tenderized filet with mushroom sauce, baked tater, salads, and an app. The appetizer were their onion strings. They are so good. Ms Kat brings all the drinks to your table and her dad came and asked us about our experience. He cooked the meat!! We got a rum cake to end the meal. Everything was delicious!

Great place for fine dining! Loved it here!!! We had the steak and vegetable kabob and salad. I always love a salad with a chilled plate! For our sides I had carrots and my husband had the sliced potatoes! Their Old Fashioned and Lilly drinks were perfect! Great recommendation, Wayne Schoeling, for the invitation to Kat’s! !!! We’ll be back!!

This is the best kept secret in Northern Oklahoma. By far the best steak I ever had and well worth the hour and a half drive. Good atmosphere, fantastic service, and great food. I can recommend the onion rings (best ever) and the New York strip, well seasoned and cooked to perfection.

Gathered here with family for a Friday night dinner . Reservations are absolutely recommended her. This small town spilled the beans on how good this place is and it’s busy ! Small quaint steakhouse in Lamont Oklahoma. When it’s not nearly 100 degrees they have outside seating with a fireplace under a covered pergola. I’m sure this is very pretty outside in late fall . Would I drive a ways for this meal. yes. We split the chicken & ravioli and ordered extra salad and side . . Chicken was cooked perfect and ravioli were good my side was asparagus and half baked potato. We choose the ravioli because we have a two freezers full of beef at home and the price seemed a better buy. Nice bar to sit at while you wait, Linen tablecloths and napkins, friendly atmosphere good service and clean . ~ Tonni

Make a reservation! Absolutely fantastic steak, salad, and potato. The onion rings are also delicious! You only need a half order of onion rings though. I wish they served Budweiser, but the Moscow Mule was a tasty replacement. It is pricey, but worth it. Great small steakhouse for sure! 10/10 would recommend!

Cozy restaurant with incredible food! All courses are worth getting, price is worth the quality and taste. Jennifer was our waitress, aunt of Kat and so nice to us! She even brought out Kat to introduce her to us, such service and friendly! I know it's a drive, but you will not be disappointed and we will return!

Didn't really know what to expect in Lamont Oklahoma but this place was superb! Quality of steak was phenomenal and the house potatoes were divine! Highly recommend a reservation, we wouldn't have scored a seat but luckily the bar had space. Dress business casual or you will feel out of place😃. Will definitely be back!

Decided to forgo our usual spot for Kats, as we’ve heard great things & they did not disappoint! A little out of the way for us, but worth the drive as it was possibly the best steak we’ve had in Oklahoma & I highly recommend you save room for dessert! Atmosphere was perfect, staff was super friendly, service was on point. We’ll be back!

One of my favorites. Great steaks. Usually packed so make sure you call ahead and get reservations...or go online to reserve. Only complaint... Onion rings are more like onion straws. Mine was like the last of the bag. Just join their Facebook page and look at those steak pics everyday they post. Wish we lived closer!

I took my wife there (from 1.5 hours away) for our anniversary and was not disappointed. We both loved our meal! Kat makes everything but the steaks and her dad grills the steaks. And the steaks were unreal delicious. My ribeye was a perfect medium with a crusted sear…my wife had a strip that was as perfect as my ribeye. The company potatoes, the grilled asparagus and the bourbon pecan pie were also delicious! It wasn’t inexpensive (but worth every cent) and they don’t have an extensive menu. But that’s as picky as I can get. The service is awesome and friendly, the place is homey and nice. And the food is incredible.

This was probably the best New York strip I’ve ever had. The steak was grilled to perfection with what appeared to be just S&P, but the flavor was incredible. The kind that had my eyes authentically rolling in the back of my head good. Pretty sure the steak was dry brined with sea salt. The chef came by our table while eating and I never got to ask as I had a mouth full in the moment. Loved the artichoke dip and baked potato as well. Never thought I would say I had the best steak of my life in Lamont Oklahoma lol

An amazing place to eat! We're traveling from CO back to MD and Kat's was on our way to Tulsa. The ribeye was cooked perfectly and the potatoes were delicious! A spicy margarita and bourbon pecan pie rounded out the meal. The owner/chef came out to say hello and everyone was super friendly! Thanks so much for a fantastic dinner! Would absolutely recommend!

We made our way up from Yukon definitely worth the trip. Great food, great people had a very good steak. Will be back without a doubt. Figuring on coming on a Thursday to try the lasagna. Thanks for a great experience.

We took our good friends to dinner. While the restaurant was small we had excellent service and food. We met Miss Mona who told us that her granddaughter was the proprietor. It was a bit of a drive, somewhat off the beaten path, but worth the extra time to get there. Definitely worth going back to.

Just a quick drive from Enid, this elegant little building houses the best steak I have ever tasted in my life! Not knowing what to expect, just that my husband wanted to try it because he heard it was good. I instantly liked the vibe as soon as I walked in! Service was prompt and friendly. The Company potatoes proved to be the perfect match with our steak! We can’t wait to come back and try everything else! PS: Don’t leave without trying the Crème Brûlée!

Look, if there was ever a place to drive for an hour to have a delightful experience...it is this place. It is an adventure and they do not disappoint. The drinks are well made, and the food is absolutely devine. This place is out in a little town in the middle of farmland, and you might have second thoughts. I urge you to put that to bed and go experience what this place has to offer.

I travel a lot and therefore eat out frequently, and this was one of, if not thee best resteraunt steak I have ever had. Cooked perfectly and seasoned perfectly. The waitress was great. The atmosphere was perfect. A man that seemed to be the owner, manager, or chef came out frequently to checknon everybody. It may be a little pricey compared to some places, but well.worth every cent. I cannot say enough good. I had the sirloin and grilled asparagus.

My husband and I both love a good RARE steak. We have dined on many a good steak but we have NEVER had steak this good! He chose a filet, I picked the ribeye. We shared the steaks because we wanted to try both. Absolute PERFECTION. They had an amazing char on the outside and perfectly rare on the inside. And the flavor will make the hour and a half trip back worth while. We highly recommend going to their website for reservations. It's not a large place but it is truly worth the drive wherever you come from.

Had the onion strings/rings with a ribeye and company potatoes. The onion strings/rings were very good. Nice seasoning. The salad was ok, but the croutons to me were good. Weird to say, I know. The ribeye had great flavor. Its right there with the best I've had in Oklahoma. The only one I've had that was better, was in KC. The company potatoes were ok. Maybe a bit over average. I did have a bite of the Kats house potatoes. I did like the company over the Kats house potatoes. I had carrot cake and it was very good. It was crowded and noisy. They were shaking mixed drinks right next to me and that was loud. They waitress, Lea, was very good and attentive. No room for a salad bar. That would be a good addition. I would go back and try a different side. Maybe steak fries or baked. MAKE A RESERVATION

This is a great date night spot if you're willing to drive, as it's in a small town not close to very much. Love the outdoor seating as well. Only complaint is the restaurant tends to feel very crowded and it's a bit pricey.
