The food was flavorful and well seasoned. From the Pupusas to the Soup and the desserts, everything was delicious. Excellent service and comfortable patio dining.
Fine dining style of Mexican and Latin foods. Pay a little more and it tastes so much tasty. Spoil yourself once in a while. You deserve a treat. Splurge.
I have been coming here for years. The good and service is always great! Would definitely recommend the pupusas.
This great little family owned restaurant is so friendly and hospitable every time we go. We have visited with our three kiddos as well as on date nights and the treatment and quality of food never wavers. In fact, we recently went during a downtown festival and saw more diners than ever before. We were served much faster than I expected even with the crowds! The food was delicious as always and I love the variety the menu offers. The prices are more than fair, $3.75 for a shrimp ceviche tostada!? Yes, please!! I have never before had Salvadoran cuisine, but judging from this place I am a huge fan! Do yourself a favor and try a local gem!
Nice, quiet atmosphere and cozy seating. There's an outdoor patio, that is available as well. Our first visit to this wonderful restaurant, and we loved it! We will definitely be back to try more of the wonderful sounding dishes. Thanks for a nice date night!
Great location in the center of The BLVD - across the street from the Regency BLVD Cinema. The Mexican and Salvadoran menu items are all top-notch, and the service is awesome. Highly recommended.
Tried the Yucca today. Really liked it and excited I found an alternative to my other regular thing I love on their menu. I also love the way if there's things I don't like or certain meat I can't eat she'll change it for me to a different kind of meat happily.
Great family friendly environment. Food was amazing and the service is top notch
Took a chance on this place thinking it was gonna be pricey, but to my surprise it's really affordable. Have only tried the pupusas here but there really good and there spicy salsa is the best I've ever had. I recommend this spot.
The food was really yummy 😋 we enjoyed everything and the service was great 👍
Wow! Great authentic food! My wife and I had a great time! Michaladas were great! Good was great! Atmosphere is very nice especially considering the pandemic.. We weren't complaining at all! The service was great, friendly awesome people working here! Great fresh made food from scratch! I'll be back for sure!! Check em out, the process are very good also!! Thank you!!

Was looking for a place to have some breakfast.. good thing i saw this place turned out really well... Our food was really delicious i have the Chile Colorado... Loved it... Service was great... That's a big plus.. will definitely come back... Thank you again..
This is my go to for Mexican and El Salvadorian food. Everything from their Burritos to Papusas are made daily in house. They have a great selection of food and have beer and wine available as well. I normally get the Chili verde burrito but decided to try something new so I ordered the Shrimp soup ( Caldo de Camarones ) and it was amazing! Definitely my new favorite. And to top it all off you can't beat the prices here and friendly staff.
Under new ownership and the food taste whey better. The Molcajete was delicious and the pupusas de Loroco were delicious also. You could see and taste the Loroco.
Delicious El Salvadoran food. Excellent service.

Delicious El Salvadoran food. Excellent service.
Food was delicious and waitress was so kind! We got a red sauce wet burrito with rice and beans! It was enormous and the price is just right for the portion size we got! Highly recommend!
The food was really good and the drinks were also great. I really liked that there was a Happy Hour on a Friday! The ladies who work there were very attentive and friendly. There was a DJ and I think they also have karaoke later, but we did not stay for that. We sat inside, but there was also outside seating. Will definitely be coming back.
I came here with my family during a parade on the blvd. Although the restaurant was incredibly busy, and it took some time to get our food, I do not blame them for that, other restaurants were claiming 2 hour wait the same night. During our time there the servers were incredibly attentive, we originally sat outside but my kids were cold. They allowed us to move inside with no issue. The food is the best part, and is what earned the 5 stars. It is authentic Salvadorian cuisine, all of the food was definitely homemade. Entrees come with full sides depending on the type of entree. If you are on a budget, I recommend the cheaper options like Papusas, as they are one of their signatures. Also their micheladas are delicious. Overall a good restaurant. 4 star service. 5 star food.
AMAZING FOOD AND ATMOSPHERE. My family visits everyday and is always satisfied! The chicken tacos are delicious! The employees of this restaurant are so friendly, they always make us feel welcomed. They treat everyone coming in with great respect.
Omg! The Pupusas, Empanadas, tamales, Fajitas, and Chile relleno were AMAZING!!!! SO delicious. Also the whole atmosphere and decor was lovely. Great service as well. So happy we tried it out. Update...next day eating the leftovers...still SO good. I am so upset that we ate all of the pupusas and tamales already.

Salvadorian or Mexican? You can choose an entree from either at this restaurant. YUM! This is a restaurant on the Blvd. THE BLVD is supposed to be a somewhat hip strip of shops and restaurants. The people are super friendly! I reccomend the papusas for an appetizer then the carne encebollada or fajitas. I love it! Beer and wine served but no margaritas! Sorry! The portions are quite large so you can easily share an entree.
You must try the pupusas, the are perfectly balanced... no too oily like in other places -and the shrimp with garlic sauce is light and not too heavy. Salsa is good not excellent but it could have been the day. Tortillas are different in a good way... you gotta try it to find out. I will return to try other dishes.
Stopped in for lunch, was mildly disappointed. Food was good, but no great. Ordered taco plate (tacos, beans and rice) only got the tacos - but we were pressed for time, so didn't complain. One tortilla instead of two, not huge deal, but not "traditional" and meat was a well flavored but dry. Again, not horrible by any means, would likely stop there for lunch again. It could have been too early, or something.

Service is slow, average food taste, a few tables not cleaned (not ready).
I give them three stars for customer service but 1 for there food it's not very good I bought it for lunch that's why I ate it. The employee and manager are so sweet that I would feel bad to give them 1 star but I probably won't come back the food isn't worth it. it's cheap but not high quality.
Size: small Price: overpriced for size Taste: average In comparison with other local Salvadorian Restaurants nearby, these pupusas are on the smaller size. If the price was 50-75 cents less for its size, it would be more appropriate. $2.50 will get you almost twice the size at another restaurant nearby. The taste is nothing extraordinary, It was ok including the cabbage and sauce. Will we go back? Probably not due to other options available nearby, but to each their own. I say try it!
I’m perplexed with 5 star reviews. Maybe it was experiential, maybe they are friends? My experience, today, gets a 3 star review for the following reasons: My chicken enchiladas appeared to have micro-waved, at least partially. They came out really fast and the red enchilada sauce separated into solid and clear, micro-wave “splash pattern” and simply tasted micro- waves (photos attached) The service was fine- no complaints there . Note to Iced Tea drinkers: when asked if you want sweetened or non-sweetened , this translates to: Sweetened =Raspberry, Non-sweetened = Tropical. Which may mean that they have a Nestea machine, there is no regular Iced Tea.

Mixed review. Poor service, very inattentive and waitress was mopping when we entered, so whole place reeked of bleach for a while. Food was good. Nice, salty carnitas. Taco salad was second best ever: large, well cooked, filled with fresh ingredients. Pricey, but that's California nowadays.

Please work on getting the pupusas right, they were too doughy and thick the edges had no filling and just looked weird. What happened? The pupusas were so much better!
Food was tasty portions too small ,it take them for ever to come back to see if you ok ,i had to go inside to order another mimosa ,and to get charged ,is my second time and it was exactly like the first ,and there was only 2 tables ocupied ,is not lije they were busy ,will never come back again

this was one of the worst restaurants i’ve ever been to. the salsa was watered down, they only gave us like 10 chips, and they don’t know how to portion their food. like is it that hard to spread ingredients evenly through a burrito. we were the only ones their and now i know why. disgusting.
The worst sopa de gallina i have ever taste. I should had taken a picture. The gallina (hen) was hard like a rock and very dark and burned. The soup had no taste like gallina at all. To make matter worst that little that I ate gave me stomach pain.
I went with my family to get lunch today, they give us the menu without even a greeting, the restaurant wasn’t busy, just like 2 tables with customers, we waited like 15 minutes and no one came to the table to ask if we wanted something to drink or anything. We had to leave and go find another place. It was disappointing because we came for a friend recommendation but never again. Need to improve the customer service, they lost a sell of 5 people because of the poor customer service.
I had a hand in my chicken soup. I think I got food poisoning. I’m headed to a.v hospital. No joke.
Regret going to this place, the service was bad, the waitres wich I believe is the owner has a nasty attitude and the food is even worse, got a fermented drink, burn food on the outside and still frozen in the inside, chips that smell rancid and took a long time for the food to be serb; this is the first and last time that I will visit this place, I felt bad for inviting my friends to this Pueblo Viejo, I should read the reviews before I deside to go in. Lesson lear.
Their "menudo" tasted so awful the customer service was horrible the waitress was so rude and meal pre time was ridiculously long considering we where the only ones there. I highly wouldn't recommend this place.
So we went in this morning and the two dead fish (waitresses) had no spirit in life. We tried to think of better outcomes but once again this place is the worse. If I could do a negative star I would… 1st service :sucked 2nd hair in chips; when I said something she looked at me like what it’s only hair. So I canceled my food before it got there and she wanted me to pay for food that I didn’t eat. Please people be aware of these nasty food places
Shrimp cocktail was great. However I found a hair in my bean chorizo dip. All I wanted was a replacement and they refused asked to see hair interrogated me asked what color. I will never go back and I paid my bill was not asking for anything free. Im a Manager at a local flower shop when our customers aren't satisfied we replace the item. Never will I go here again
Extremely Rude! We arrived at 7:15 on a Saturday and they close at 8. We were seated and informed that the kitchen closes at 7:45. We promptly ordered and got our food. At 7:50, while we’re in the middle of eating, they turned off the music, locked the doors and turned down the lights. By 8:05 they completely turned off the lights and my kids started crying from being scared of the dark. I had to use my flashlight to walk out of there. Luckily no one fell or got hurt, that could have been a major law suit. We told them we were going to post a bad review and they responded, “two people are not going to make me lose my restaurant for leaving a bad review”. We use to eat here often and have placed large orders for many parties. Needless to say, we will not be coming back.
The food was ok. Our waitress was great but the hostess or owner and some gentlemen, whom I assume is the cook were arguing the whole time. They were at a table right across from my wife and I. Very unpleasant not to mention unprofessional. Honestly I don't think I will be back. I gambled on a new restaurant and now I'm down $40...owe well. How else will we learn right?
I would love to know who is the owner of this place so he will know the kind of people he has working there and how much business he’s losing because of them I call in because I receive a cocktail that it was halfway half a cup this is not the first time that I order this from this place so I know for a fact that The amount I receive was less that the amount of got in previous times the ladies that answered the phone today 6/19/2022 at 3:45pm didn’t not want me to pass me to the manager and refused to give me her name , I call back and another ladies answer she said that her name was Amy and sad that she was the manager and I don’t believed that and if she is she has no matter to treat customers if you want to eat Mexican or Salvadoran food go another place if you want to have a good time.
Wowww stay away!!!!!!!!! great pupusas until it started making my stomach sick nd for my kids they had chicken strips and fries they weren't eating the chicken so much so I tried it and it was they were the most horrible chicken strips ever!!!!! And the service was just about same or worse 5 stars to stay away from this restaurant!!
Dont waste your time or money. Took my 3 grand children, great nephew and son to see the lancaster Holiday parade, we arrived early so we could get something to eat. I now wish I would've just stopped at jack in the box. The little ones wanted 2 apple juice and 1 orange juice the lady brings 1 apple juice 1 orange juice. I finally get her to come back and tell her i need another apple juice she says you only ordered 1, I shouldve left then I say no I ordered 2 finally she says oh I must have heard wrong I'll get ot right now. She didnt return till I flagged her down again. We asked for water and got one glass of water. Finally we ordered, My oldest granddaughter and I ordered a 7 layer taco and thoae were fine thw smaller o es wanted pancakes and sausage but the only sausage they had was as they called it Mexican sausage (Chorizo). So I asked if the had bacon, the waitress leaves asks someone comes back and says yes my little granddaughter doesnt eat bacon so she askes for a scrambled egg with her pancakes and my son ordered Juevos Rancheros. Lets start with his "juevos rancheros" 1 small corn tortilla with 2 fried eggs some sause and a spoonful of beans and a half plate of sour cream. The bacon was little chopped up pieces of bacon and my granddaughters eggs were like little yellow rocks. This was the worst food ever. When I got the check it was almost $73!!! I told them gow disappointed I was and all the problems and they said with a snarky attitude well im sorry you feel that way. I will never go there again and I would advise everyone to steer clear. The food made me sick.

I recently visited Pueblo Viejo Restaurant to try their tamales, and unfortunately, I was really disappointed. The tamales were way too wet, with barely any meat or sauce—just a lot of soggy, crumbling masa. The texture was off, and the taste was bland, almost like water. From the presentation to the portioning, it just wasn’t good. If you’re looking for tamales, I wouldn’t recommend getting them from here.
I would never go back again. The waitress came bringing the food between us when she could go around and put the plates in the middle almost poked my daughter with the fork and didn’t even apologize. It was just us and a couple eating at the restaurant. She never came to ask how we were doing. I had to call her to the table ask for more tortillas. We ordered the molcajete. It was a 6/10. My kids shared chicken wings they said it was really good 10/10. But not gonna be back service was not good rice was hard and very cold took long to give utensils
