Food is really good, love the atmosphere and the service. I can't wait to try the whole menu!
Great customer service and great food;).
Loved the atmosphere...very friendly staff...loved the music!!! Very relaxing ....enjoyed the breakfast and especially the café de olla 💜🥰👍 Keep up your outstanding 👏 service
Great both times I’ve visited. Food is the standout here.
Peaceful environment and service was great. Food was delicious. Server was very friendly and patient
Amazing food !!! So delicious ! Great prices, beautiful and lovely waitresses, 100% recommend. God bless !!!
Great food, prices and service
Definitely the most delicious food yet, I'll for sure will be a regular, and service is very friendly and amazing
Easily one of the best breakfast spots in Laredo. Try the cafe de Okla and machacado con huevo! Great place! Go check it out asap!
If you happen to be in Laredo definitely stop and eat at Frida's. If you long for true Mexican Cuisine México city style Frida is your place.
Good service. Good food. Fast and consistent.
Loved it. Great food and service. And the Frida theme art is beautiful.
Barbacoa plate and menudo is so good only thing is it's a bit crowded at least when I went.
The best breakfast place in Laredo ! All the breakfast is delicious and I love their cafe de olla!
Very cute local spot. Food was great.
Good service, café de olla and chilaquiles were awesome!
All visits have been great! Food is delicious!
This place was simply awesome. As we opened the door to walk in, we were hit with the smell of the "café de oya". The lady that greeted us was extremely friendly. Our waitress, Sylvia was such a wonderful person who helped us, being it was our first time here. My Dad was putting sugar in his cafe de oya and she right away came with a fresh cup of the coffee and told my Dad that the coffee has sugar already. My Dad and I stayed here for almost 3 hours in conversation. The atmosphere of this place was so pleasant. 👌 We will, definitely be coming back here more often.
Highly recommend. The cafe de olla was delicious. Presentation was great. Overall food was really good...service was good. Only complaint. It felt crowded. Tables too close.
What an amazing place. Food is absolutely amazing, prices are very affordable and service is great. Definitely a must see if in the area.
This place is AWESOME! If you are looking for great authentic breakfast food, this place is where you need to be...And do try the homemade Biscuit!! It is so delicious and savory!!! This place for Laredo Texas is definitely a bonus!
This place got the best chilaquiles and biscuit sandwiches I’ve ever tasted, the red salsa chilaquiles tasted more like chilaquiles entomatados which is a plus to me. I ordered the torta de chilaquiles with chicken and scrambled eggs, it was very packed that I almost ordered to go 😮💨, I also ordered an egg/bacon/cheese biscuit, very delish 😋. Although my dad in the other hand, he didn’t like the pancakes because they looked and tasted like a crepé, he thinks you all have to work on your pancakes.. Anyhow, I’d visit this restaurant again!
Food is great here. I would recommend to anyone. They have excellent breakfest, their chileaquiles are great, the staff is friendly, etc. This my favorite place to go to if I want to have a good breakfest/ brunch
Food is beyond amazing, their coffee is nothing like you'll taste anywhere! (No additives needed, it's delicious as it is!) Honestly, such a great place to bring the fam to! Amazing overall!
Coffee was delicious. Food was great. Friendly service. People need to learn to speak softly. It was too loud and the word "like" is used way too often in a conversation.
Wonderful menu... traditional Mexican dishes for breakfast and/ or lunch. Love the atmosphere... as you walk in, it seems as if you're stepping into a coffee shop in Mexico City itself. Very affordable.
First time here, and it was really good. They had fast service and a very friendly staff. I recommend you go and try it for yourself.
Best Chilaquiles I’ve ever had. The salsa had a really good taste, the beans, the cheese. There were just perfect. I had the Frida Chilaquiles, they come with chorizo. Delicious! Now, their coffee also delicious. Cafe de Hoya. I will recommend every one to come and try it.
Everything was to perfection. Coffee was excellent with that cinnamon twist flavor. Ordered the concha rellena and it was delicious… thank u for the food n for your excellent service
Best breakfast in town. First time eating here. Food is delicious. Service was excellent.
Great place to go have brunch after church. Food is great and the café de olla is great. Service and parking lot needs a little improvement but I'd definately recommend this place.
Five stars for La Casa de Frida! Had a delicious breakfast here. The environment is beautiful and the vibe is spot on. Everything was spotless, restrooms included. Maura was our server and she was absolutely wonderful and friendly. If you’re looking for a great local spot, this is it!
By Far the most Authentic and unique flavors! From that first sip of Cafesito de olla.. I was transported to my Abuelas Kitchen table. The Barbacoa tacos are generous and taste like no other! Torillas with the Menudo were the best! Rich fatty, flavorful and so vibrant!
Came to town for the fair and found this place on Google. Plates were delicious with generous portions for only $12. El cafe de olla was delicious and worth the price. Will definitely come back again. Pictured are the chilaquiles en salsa roja with chorizo....not pictured is a barbacoa plate.
Very tasty food, unique, coffee, menu with many Mexican breakfast flavors. Staff is very professional and friendly. Restaurant is very clean and cozy.
I love this place for breakfast, I haven't gone there for lunch yet, I had the chilaquiles rojos(spicy hot) but they are delicious, my daughter had the chilaquiles verdes not spicy hot but also delicious and my wife had the babacoa plate. The service is on point . They are generous with the coffee ( they bring you a pot ) their olla coffee is very tasty. 👍👍👍👍👍
Delicious food and service!🍳 The concha was my favorite 10/10
10/10 would come again, i love the atmosphere the restaurant, the service is great (however, for english speakers only, itll be hard to communicate due to language barriers. They are patient and nice about it), the menu has great options (it also has English desc. as well). The food i got was the torta de Chilaquiles w/verde sauce, and it was extremely delicious.
Wow! What a pleasant surprise! We learned they had a Chiles en nogada special, not on the menu and had to return for that. Fabulous! Love the food I’ve had here so far! Chilaquiles verdes, and Cazuelita de huevos ahogados. Cafe de olla. Excellent corn tortillas. Good Nutella &strawberry pancakes. The decor is pleasant, not fancy, vibrant Mexican blue and subdued pink. Really good service.
Highly recommend this place for brunch to anyone! The Chilaquiles Frida are the best here
A unique aesthetic place , has people in there , but not crowed , food was on point , coffee good , service great polite , clean , decent price ,

Must I add a description? Look at the before and after lol This was the huevos rancheros. Great on top, but with a surprise ham under to cut through. Definitely recommend. Todo quedo al 100%
Food was delicious! Not a long wait to get food, and service was fast. Very nice host and server!
It’s a great place for family to come and have breakfast together! The atmosphere is great and the food is a 10/10
Great food. Cafe de hoya was the best

Great place for breakfast/brunch. I had the waffles and they were very good, the coffee was better than I’ve had at other popular breakfast spots. My daughter had an omelette and she loved it. Everything was good, at least that we ordered. Staff was friendly, place was clean. Only gripe is the parking. It gets foiled up pretty quickly.
Excellent food, affordable prices service was excellent the female waiter was very attentive overall great service and food was delicious definitely coming back!!
EAT HERE!! Food was fantastic! Wish I was able to snap a pic. The service was consistent and I was never left waiting. Honestly such lowkey and underrated brunch spot. Prices are great. I recommend the waffles, mollete, and menudo. Absolutely slapped. Only somewhat negative comment to the restaurant owner. Please chop down those dead trees outside. I honestly didn’t even know the restaurant was up and running because it just screams abandoned business. I’ll be back for more brunch soon ❤️

Tasty food and friendly staff. Different option to try breakfast with the family. Coffee is ok, but would be better if they had more options
Great service, and the food was delicious! This was my first time there, and it certainly won't be the last.
Stopped in for breakfast with family. The biscuits are delicious - soft and buttery. Enjoyed the Cafe de olla. Waffles were delicious. Chilaquiles Diablo hot as advertised. Very attentive waitress. Overall a great experience.
Food was awesome, service was great. I would only say I wish they would serve tacos because sometimes you don’t feel like having a plate and paying the price of a plate.
Tortillas should be place on a tortilla warmer and NOT aluminum foil. Chairs are too difficult to sit makes it uncomfortable.
THE FOOD WAS VERY GOOD 👍, THE SERVICE WAS FAST AND ACCURATE, AND EE HAD A GREAT TIME 👍👍👍
It was good, just another mexican influenced brunch place. I was the only one at the place and food still got to me cold. Lemonade was delicious and refreshing. Waffles had a hint of cinnamon so gave them a french toasty vibe which was really good. Service was excellent!
First time there and the food was good, we started with the bean and cheese with chorizo molletes and they were very good. I had the chilaquiles combinados and a barbacoa taco both very good but the only problem is had was the tortilla for the taco looks like it a packaged premade raw tortilla and that kinda made the taco kinda mid but the other plates were good and flavorful. My wife had the waffles with Nutella and substituted the strawberries for bananas which were good, even the cafe de olla is good
If you're looking for a decent Menudo, this is the right spot. To drink we got the Cafe de Olla which was very good (it also includes refill which is not very usual on other restaurants, just for Cafe Americano), to eat we ordered the Diablo chilaquiles, the flavor was ok, not sure if they put some water on the salsa because the flavor was very light, on the other hand we got the Barbacoa plate, it was also good but nothing outstanding, we had to put some salt, lime and salsas to bring up a little bit more the flavor. On the other hand, the Menudo was very very good, I think definitely was my favorite one. As dessert we ordered a Concha Rellena which came with Nutella, strawberries and banana, it was actually really good, just the bread didn't taste very fresh, but overall we liked it.

A breakfast place in Laredo that doesn't serve breakfast taco. How does that work?
The room next to the entrance is too hot, need to put fans there. Aside from that food and service was great!!
The hot chocolate was great! And served in a jarrito, same as the coffee. Food was nothing special, not bad and not great. I only bought a hot chocolate and onebself made taco, because they don't sell actual prepared tacos. Service was good, however everything was extremely over priced. The atmosphere was not there really. It was just a quiet place to have breakfast, bright and kinda chilly.

The hosts attitude is always rude, service is slow, food is regular, I like the cafe de olla... but the service is awful!!!
It’s not kid friendly. There is no kids menu or kid options.
Very rude hostess the one that charges just gives you attitude and had a bad attitud super rude!!! the food and coffee is good but the service is not to good. They usually only come to take your order and bring the food when you ask for something it takes long to bring but the coffee is really good
Had high expectations going in, was let down by the confusing to read menu and it’s limited options, service was kind and the food took a while to get to our table, I don’t think I’ll be going back,
I used to love this place but after a few months of not visiting we came back for their delicious food. Unfortunately the service was what made us not want to come back here. They told us to go ahead and sit and after that we had to wait and noticed no one would come to our table, but would actually take other people coming in order. The waitress would stare at us but wouldn’t check to see if they had taken our order. After 10 min of seeing them taking other people’s order and not ours we decided to stand and leave. While leaving they just stared and didn’t bother to ask if we were okay or something. It’s sad since this was my favorite spot.
3 out of 10. As a first time experience i a bit disappointed by the taste of all 3 dishes along with the coffee. I was most excited to try the coffee but it tasted old and as if it had been sitting for a while. I also expected an experience of eating a home made meal but unfortunately it was far from it. I dont want my experience to be 100% negative from just a 1st time experience, but at the moment i don't believe i will be returning.
Used to be my favorite but lately food has been off. Also the day I went waited 45 mins for 3 plates and wasnt that full as other times I have gone. Servers arent the best just kinda stare blank faced. Don't ever order the salad here its sad and practically have to beg for dressing and wait 15 mins to get it
Food was ok bad service
Waffles were raw (no color). Pancakes looked better, but no taste. Chilaquiles were ok.
My sister came down to visit and wanted to try this place. I had been wanting to go as well. Her spouse is from out of town and we thought it would be nice to try their cafe de olla ect. Sadly Gloria basically turned us away not once but twice. First I came in and mentioned we needed a table for 8. her response was "we dont have a table for 8" I politely replied yes, it seems packed, can you write us in and let me know an estimate on the wait. Her response was again " we dont have a table and i have no way of knowing if one will become available or not. I again tried to be polite and assumed this may help her change her tone to a better one... I said ok can you add us on the list and we can wait. Her response was again no, rudely for the third time she replied with "you can give me a phone number if you'd like and if something becomes available I will call you and you can head over" basically asking us to leave. My sister walked in after I stepped out and she repeated this after telling her spouse she could not comunicate with him because she did not speak english. Not that the language she speaks is an issue but it seems she could have tried to comunicate or ask someone to translate vs turning him away for speaking english. On the contray of anyone having an issue with her language it seemed like she had an issue with his. She again told my sister no table, no wait time ect. Sadly this is why places close in Laredo, the person at the front had no hospitality and basically turned away a high ticket table and potential future customers. This happend Saturday November 25 at 10:30 am
Service needs a-lot of work definitely not going back…
Bad service from manager, dosent know how to treat customers, we ask for a Table for 4 and was giving a booth, because its her rules not what the customer ask.
Was told it would be a 25 min wait, we ordered then waited over 45 mins. Ordered chilaquiles but a couple that arrived next to us received their chilaquiles 15 mins after they arrived. They boast their trophies on their bar. Must be Champions Of The Slowest Service in the whole state Edit: the establishment wants a high five instead of holding themselves accountable for their poor service. I’ll relax when my time isn’t wasted. You mentioned orders are done in the order they are taken.. why were the couple served before us? They ordered chilaquiles as did I. In what world is 45 min wait after ordering acceptable? Out of touch business. Very unprofessional response. For the sake of the restaurants survival, take the feedback and work on it. Or don’t cheap out by understaffing. Sin amor, Jon
Waffle and chicken plate was awful 🤢😞. The thinly sliced fried chicken was very dry, I just really couldn't eat most of it, so there it is. Also, the waitress never came by besides to take our order and drop off the food. I would have appreciated them to come and bring more coffee or tea.

My husband and I come here a couple times a month, however that ends today. The service that we got today was HORRIBLE! We asked for more salsa verde and with a bothered face she said “pos voy a checar aver si hay” after about 10 min she made us reach for it over like a countertop, didnt even want to come to the table, never came to refill our drinks, and not once did she come over to our table to ask us if we need anything else except for when she brought us our food.
