Well, if “Family-Style” old school Italian food is your jam, make sure you wear your “eating-pants”…OMG, this joint was great! I loved the vibe, but the portions…yikes, be ready. If you ask nicely they will let you order off their “lunch” menu (much smaller portions). With that said, if you have the mouths to feed…this is the right spot! Our server Erica was the best!
We went to Buca di Beppo for my birthday dinner and everything was wonderful! You receive large portions of delicious food for the whole family to share from! Service was great! David was on top of everything! Get the chicken parmesean!!
This was the first my boyfriend and I came here to celebrate our 4 year anniversary and we had a really nice time the food was absolutely amazing and delicious and the staff were incredibly nice and the waiter was so polite definitely would love to come here again
Came to celebrate my nieces 24th birthday and David was great. Amazing food and service
It was incredible how big the dishes were. Although the menu specifically explains that they are meant to be shared, everyone in my party ordered a different dish, so in the end we had so much leftovers. In any case, the food was great, the service was great, and the atmosphere was great too.
So happy that a year later, I have David as my server again! Dude is totally amazing! I come here because the food is always so delicious, my fav being the eggplant parmigiana, & the amazing cannoii’s!!! If you want good Italian for a craving, Bucca’s is the place!
Came in to celebrate my buddy’s birthday. I’ve never been here, but have heard a lot about their great service and family style dining. They were understaffed but Mandie helped entertain us. We weren’t in a rush so we enjoyed the spacing. She was great at checking on us, asking about cocktail refills, and even clearing plates between courses. The food was great, big portions, and the service was very warm. I think Mandie can cheer up the grumpiest person in the world. I’m glad we chose this place to celebrate the birthday.
I was impressed with my first visit to Buca di Beppo. I was there on a weekday for lunch right at opening time. The hostess and server were both pleasant, courteous and professional. There were other guests enjoying an afternoon meal but the restaurant was not crowded. I enjoyed viewing the different rooms and could imagine the scene of a crowded restaurant in years past. I had the spaghetti with large meatball. Delicious and priced right. I'll definitely be back.
Spaghetti and jumbo meatballs were amazing!!! The bread was hot and good. Kai the waiter was excellent. This is the location in the Summerlin.
Very nice and clean Felt very welcomed and comfortable. Server was nice friendly and patient Food was fresh and delicious salad was also good the lettuce did not taste old or looked old. Decorating is really interesting throughout the whole restaurant including the bathroom.
Food portions are huggggeee!!! Order one for two people and will take home still!! Love the baked ziti!! So good and cheese, the tomato sauce is great and tasty on the lasagna, love the sangria can drink two carafes myself!! The attention is top, prices very reasonable and affordable. It’s a perfect weekend restaurant for us!!
First time here (since this isn't a chain where I live) and WOW! Everything is served family style which is cool. Atmosphere was that of an Italian applebees/shenanigans with tons of stuff to notice around. Fun! David was our server and a excellent one at that. We ordered stuffed mushrooms and stuffed shells and we were stuffed after that! Better than olive garden for sure.
Show up with an appetite or some family and friends and you will not be disappointed! There are so many options to choose from. Our server, David, greeted us with some fresh bread. He was super attentive and explained how the family-sized portions worked. We started off with some fried calamari, followed by the apple gorgonzola salad, which was delicious! The main meal was chicken marsala with mushroom sauce. We topped it off with a gigantic piece of tiramisu! The slice was so large, there was plenty of leftovers to take home and enjoy. Grab some friends and head on over to Buca di Beppo and be sure to ask for David.
This was the first time at this establishment for my mother and I,it was also my birthday. The food was awesome, but our server was not friendly and short with us. I have to say she made the experience not great at all. I only gave 2 stars for the food.
Really great food and a good waiter named David. He was friendly and awesome. Big portions that make it worh it. Location is totally 5 stars
Restaurant atmosphere was fun … food was alright. Family size portions for sure . To much food for me
OMG!!!!! this place had portions to feed an Army.. nice relaxing ombieance, dessert were delicious and huge. Staff were awsome and very quick to serve you. If you're having some friends or family intown just visiting, I would highly recommend this restaurant. A small order can feed 3, a medium can 7, a large is can feed an Army. Just be warned that you used come here starving or you'll for sure be bringing food home with you lol......AAAAAA+++++
Very very good Italian food. My favorite part is this restaurant is the decor they have. Its very eclectic to say the least but every piece they have is interesting. Service has always been great here, i recommend the chicken limone and also the punch bowls are delicious. I totally recommend this place to anyone.
The service I received was absolutely fantastic! Aaron was an amazing server and a kind human. I joined my friends late for dinner and I walked in after close accidentally because google says they close at 11 and I when I got there just after ten I noticed the door said ten. I walked in and the girl up front had no problem walking me around to find our table. I confirmed with the waiter they closed at ten and I felt bad considering I work as a server as well. He assured me that I was fine, to take my time and eat, even offering drinks and additional food as well if I wanted anything else. I ended up ordering desert and we took the rest of our meal to go so we weren't staying too late. The manager Charly even stopped by and answered some questions I had about the restaurant. Overall very impressed with the service I received for literally coming in after close. W Aaron.
Pretty good traditional Italian restaurant. Their services are pretty kind and friendly that help me to get the right order. Although the restaurant only serves size 2 or 3+ people dishes, they let me to order a small one. A small pasta as the picture with full of shrimps, clams, mussels, and octopus. I become super full after finishing my meal. The restaurant not only has good food, but also has a really decent and full Italian culture decorating environment. I enjoy everything there, and I will definitely take my friends to have a bigger dishes next time!
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Buca di Beppo, an authentic Italian restaurant that truly lives up to its name. From the moment I walked through the doors, the warm ambiance and the subtle aroma of fresh basil and garlic welcomed me like an old friend. What made this visit exceptional, however, was our server, David. He greeted us with a genuine smile and a thorough knowledge of the menu that showcased his passion for the cuisine. His recommendations were spot-on, guiding us toward dishes that highlighted the restaurant’s best offerings. David’s impeccable timing and attentiveness ensured our wine glasses were never empty, and his pairing suggestions elevated our meal to new heights. The dessert—a chocolate chip cannoli—was the perfect end to a flawless dinner. Buca di beppo with its inviting atmosphere, outstanding food, and the exceptional service provided by David, has secured its spot as one of my favorite Italian dining spots. If you’re looking for an experience that feels as much like a celebration as it does a meal, I cannot recommend this place—and David—enough. Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
David was a really great, nice and helpful server who showed us great hospitality for our first time visiting Buca de Beppo. I am definitely coming back for my birthday as the serving sizes were plenty.
Fantastic family resteraunt! Huge family style portions. David was our waiter and took care of use like we were family! 10 out of 10 recommend! Ask for David's section!
The food was great and perfect for sharing. And the service oh my lord was fantastic, David made our night. Truly made the atmosphere feel amazing!!
Excellent Experience. Fun atmosphere and great food. It was perfect for our family celebration and everyone from kids to grandparents enjoyed the food and experience. David was our server and he us a gem. He helped make the occasion more special with his warmth and fun personality. He also provided great service and helpful recommendations. Perfect for an evening with family and reasonably priced too.
We had a great experience at Buca di Beppo for my wife’s birthday on Black Friday. We ordered chicken parm, carbonara, alfredo, caesar salad, and many other great dishes. Everything tasted amazing and all of our friends and family had a great experience. Our server Erica was awesome as well!!
I like the Art Deco vibes inside the restaurant , it reminds me of my grandmother and her house. Our server David gave good service and was very polite and kind. The Shrimp Fra diavlo was very delicious, and their Caesar salad was good also, and to top it off the cannolis were great!!!
Our 1st visit was awesome, friendly staff even our service pups recieved a warm welcome. Kayla our server was great, attentive & food was delicious. We had 5 adults & 1 child that enjoyed our time visit'g with family. Thank you Kayla 😊🥲💯
The service was great and the spaghetti was AWESOME! I don't like that the meals are all "family style." So you order a meal (huge portion of spaghetti about $35) from the menu and split it. If you go just be prepared for everyone to either (1) eat the same thing or (2) have enough leftovers to feed your hungry horse. The spaghetti only comes with 2 meatballs, BUT THEY ARE ONE POUND EACH 😂😂😂.Also it fed 3 adults, and there was enough left over for a one person meal. The MONSTER SIZED birthday dessert was free with a coupon, but its normally about $14 (pics below). This was shared between 3 adults and we didn't even eat half of the thing. It was very good & far more economical than the shakes we buy at $17 a pop from a local restaurant (which by the way are too small to split). 4.5 stars for Buca!. Will definitely return when we all want to eat the same thing.
The food tasted so yummy! The garlic cheesy bread with Alfredo was the best and super creamy! Sharing all that pasta was a bunch of fun! We would definitely come back again to enjoy!
Atmosphere was cool, food was decent, but the waiter was not good at all. He was not very friendly, he forgot that one of our party ordered a drink, and he almost never came back to check on us to see if we needed water or anything else
Our dinner visit wasn’t great but it wasn’t bad either. Our server was attentive once we had his full attention. He seemed to be running around a lot when we first sat down but was attentive after taking our orders. Expect large family style portions, we ordered basic dishes (chicken Alfredo) which was a bit dry and not as flavorful or creamy as it should be. The salad was delicious and fresh. We paid around $120 for all dishes below plus 4 soda beverages.
Nothing special here. We started with the calamari. The portion size was very small and they were not particularly fresh. The garlic bread seemed to be made of pizza dough and the garlic was raw and strong. The spaghetti with meatballs was disappointing. There was very little sauce and the meatballs were dry - there were never simmered in any sauce at all. The best thing we had was the chicken parm. It was tender and tasty with a different marinara sauce that was good but a little on the sweet side. Prices were rather high. Everything was served family style.
***** Edit : February 7 2024, dropped to 3 stars from a very lackluster $145 meal. The Rigatoni specialty pasta was decent, if a little dry on the sauce. $32 The chicken Parmesan was nowhere near the quality I had on my first visit to the restaurant. This time is was dry, and very hard and appeared cinged on the bottom making it difficult to cut through the chicken at all. The crust on the bottom had to be scraped off of two pieces, the remainder were not eaten. This meal was $57 by itself. The mozzarella garlic bread was very underwhelming. Imagine some basic bread with a touch of melted cheese and a bitter tasting oil/vinaigrette on it that really took away from the bread and cheese. Not pleased. $18. Overall I am dropping my rating, the server was pleasant and polite, no issues there. But when informed of the poor quality food, no manager was brought to assist, or even floor manager, let alone anyone from the kitchen. Only that she "let the kitchen staff know". Normally this would not be an issue, but this was not a cheap meal at $145 out the door. Not pleased, and any restaurant goers need to be aware that the results will be varied heavily and seemingly without addressing issues with food by any senior staff. Still left a tip for the server as this was in no way her fault and I do not hold her accountable for any of the foods quality. ****** What a super cool place to bring the family! David B. is a fantastic server. Attentive and relaxed! The environment really shines a light on why it's so neat to escape the strip (if you're a tourist) or if you live here like I do it's a great way to experience a hunt of Italy right here in Las Vegas! Portions are gigantic!! Chicken Parm and House made Mac!
We decided to have Italian on new year's eve! Ordered at 5pm thru Slice bc we knew it'll be busy. Shocked Order was ready in 22 min. Told hubby to make sure we get all the orders. Dish was labeled but inside the tray was a diff dish🤣 plus we were missing an order! Hubby went back to fetch missing dishes, they were waiting on the counter. I guess it's expected bc they had lots of orders🤔 🤔 Disappointed on their Alfredo noodles. It was very bland so had to fix it! I'm a foodie, chef and caterer! I'm being generous for the 3 stars! Lol My fave was the Antipasti.
We were charged extra for our drinks. The margarita is listed for $15 and included patron silver. On Our check we were charged $15 for the margaritas and an extra $4 for the patron!!! Why?? And they were watered down after taking quite a while to come. Seems like they were left sitting and forgotten about. Also, one of our orders took forever to come so we ended up cancelling. All the food came out sparse and in between which I don’t understand for a restaurant that specializes in family style and big parities. This is very disappointing.
I went with a friend at 3pm, I was so excited to take him there. The server was very quick with me compared to him and I never got a refil or a straw, everytime I tried to ask he walked away. My friend got multiple refills and was asked every time, it felt a bit hurtful as I was extremely polite to the server and wasn't sure what I had done wrong. Least to say the food was good and the service was not, may have been a bad day for the server but I dont want to be on the receiving end of it.
Where do I start? The atmosphere was amazing. When I walked in, I was expecting a wonderful experience. There was an odd smell, but I wrote it off as it being a vintage establishment. We were seated and greeted promptly. We were there on a Saturday and were seated at 4 PM. The place was not busy at all. I’ll try to keep this short. It was my dad‘s birthday and he asked for wine two different times. The first time they just told him no without any other recommendations and the second time he asked, they said they would check in the back if they had it, and they never returned with an answer. They took our drink orders and didn’t bring them until we reminded them we still didn’t have drinks. It seemed as if we had arrived during shift change because we started with one server, and ended with another. The food was mid for the pricing and you could tell that the fettuccine had probably been sitting under a lamp for a while. They also ran out of bread while we were waiting for our food. I used to be a server, and maybe that’s why my review is so harsh, but I saw our server talking to multiple people during our experience and I just felt like we weren’t attended to. High prices, mediocre food, sub par service. Will not be coming back.
Very disappointed. Before going, I checked that they had a gluten-free menu. I ordered the Bruschetta because in my mind it was obvious that it would come with gluten-free bread, but they brought regular bread separately, with no gluten-free option. The Chicken Limone came without any kind of pasta, just 3 chicken fillets with sauce, even though there are a multitude of good gluten-free pasta options. Why not substitute it with roasted potatoes or sautéed vegetables? How can an Italian restaurant that has a specific gluten-free menu serve the main course without the pasta??? To top it off, I thought it was expensive for what was offered, and it took almost an hour to get the food to the table. We certainly won't be back.
The place seems like it’s on its way out. On a Wednesday evening there was 1 large group of 13 in private room and 4 or 5 tables in dining room. 1 server1 bartender and 1 cook. Service friendly but very slow. Bartender on phone at bar while server running around to manage everything. Don’t bother with the pasta bolognese. It’s seems like pot roast over noodles. Won’t be going back.
This is one of the worst dining experiences I have ever had. The service was just okay, but there was absolutely zero effort put into the food. PLEASE save your money and eat at literally any other Italian restaurant; Battista’s, Maggiano’s, Monzu, Carrabba’s… hell, even Olive Garden. The quality of the food was honestly hilariously bad. The Bolognese looked like wet dog food. The noodles stuck together in a way that made it clear they were not fresh. The broccoli was a boiled soggy mess that was absolutely caked with jarlic. The bread was a toasted and buttered roll that you can buy at Albertson’s with zero seasoning. The Tiramisu was clearly made DAYS before they served it to us, and it had a weird chocolate crumble on top of it that was so old the sugar in it was literally crystallizing. The three of us were cracking up at how low-effort the food was. The restaurant is kitschy with fun relics all over the walls, but the bathroom was disgusting… the odor of urine was overwhelming. Please do not ever eat here.
First time here and was seated in the bar area (older, dingy, but had charm). Both of our menus were dirty inside; one was oily, and one was sticky. ;( We (two of us) had the house bread, brussel sprouts and chicken carbonara. The house bread was ok, but would have been better if warm. The chicken carbonara was fine, but had very minimal chicken. The brussel sprouts were very dry and not as flavorful as we're used too (I asked for some balsamic glaze and told no, but offered vinegar). The meal was ok, service to this point was fine as well. However, we went to use a $25 gift card (bill was like $63) and was told they could only give us $15 off because they didn't take those gift cards anymore. To be clear, it was a gift card, not some promotional thing and had Buca di Beppo named on the physical plastic card. Odd, because I thought there were even legalities around gift cards and businesses accepting, etc. I checked the gift card balance using the website on the card and it showed $25. We showed her the balance and that it showed $25. She would still not honor it and made it sound like they were doing us a favor by honoring $15 because "they didnt have too". She did offer us the card back (if we didn't want to accept $15). I expressed my disappointment and said the website should not tell people they have funds if they don't, and there should be disclaimers on the gift card website- something! Even if they stopped taking them for some reason, she could have at least taken off the side dish instead at almost $19, or even offered a piece of cake or dessert to go. Net, net feel cheated and like she didn't care that only $15 of the $25 could be used. Honestly, don't see how shorting us $10 was really worth it, aside from putting a bad taste in our mouth. We still tipped, which we kind of regretted once we thought about it more and how she could have done more to try and make it right. :( Even a piece of cake, really?! I know this is only $15, but it's the principle of not honoring it and the way it was handled. She would have made more money tip wise, if she'd have went out of her way to mot make use feel cheated (because we would have been appreciative). Oh, when we were walking out we heard an argument in the kitchen area. Right before that the female server rushed to the kitchen after hearing there were problems. People were getting loud....very awkward. We couldn't get out fast enough between that and not honoring our gift card. Disappointing!!
Went to Vegas strip from California …decided to go have dinner. Was seated within 5 minutes of arrival . But took over 1 hour to get our food which I was really disappointed. Order pizza and fettuccini Alfredo which pizza was completely burnt. I believe they forgot about our order and they rushed everything last minute. Awful experience!!
This is our first time here. We ordered calamari, chicken Alfredo and stuff shell. For the price and amount of calamari the quality was no there. By far not the best calamari I have had. The stuff shells were decent the Alfredo was dry and tasted like jar sauce I buy from the store. The booths are very out dated. Need to be replaced we all sat in a hole. It was very uncomfortable. I would not recommend or come back. I would rather go to olive garden or cheesecake factory.
On October 8 approximately 6:30 PM Store number 2802 we entered the restaurant to have dinner we were finally seated the waitress came over and took our order. We ordered chicken Parmesan and we received lemon chicken with fettuccine Alfredo Our order was totally wrong but because of poor service, we just decided to eat it and leave not once we were we offered refills on our drinks. It was the worst service I ever had the noodles and sauce were so bland we had to add a bunch of salt. I will never enter their doors again. It was the worst service we’ve ever had.
Was completely ignored as my East Asian family and I walked in. The waitress and host merely batted an I to us and never said a word. We led ourselves to a table as all were empty and sat for 10 minutes giving them opportunity to tend to us. They never did. We left.
I came here for dinner. The food was okay, but the problem I had was with my bill. I ordered two drinks from the bar, and the total was $24.68. When I checked my statement, someone had added an extra $6.00 to the bill. I called the manager, David, to resolve the issue. He said he would investigate and call me back the next day, but I never received a return call explaining what happened. This is a poor way to conduct business, and I will not be returning.
New Year’s Eve.2025 Reservations at 8 pm were declinded they said “We ran out of food”. Wow. Really? Translation. Our staff wants to go home early. Lost a customer. Heard it was great food too.
I'd love to tell you how great the food is like all the other comments say but I sat for 15 minutes and didn't even get asked for drinks. Walked out
I usually don't write reviews unless a place impacts me in a great or awful way, and unfortunately this place was not on the good side of my experiences. First impression of the place is great, i love how the restaurant decor is layed out but once you walk through that door, you get a terrible smell, not sure if something is rotten or the restrooms are stinking up the whole place. I didn't really care honestly, after that they sat us at a very nice are, service was great, but once they started to take our order, we couldn't get any of the starters because their fryers were broken, we tried lasagna, they ran out of it, so we were stuck on pizza. The pizza looked fine but once you took the first bite out of it, we were surprised with a very sour and old taste, the tomato sauce had most of the awful taste and i get the pizza had blue cheese, but even the blue cheese was bad. Probably i was just unlucky and i don't say they are not serving good food, i saw everyone else at the restaurant enjoying their meal, I do recommend people to try this place out and maybe it's a different experience for them :)
