Opinions de Market Place Buffet Las Vegas
Market Place Buffet is a rare Las Vegas win: great food, great price, and none of the Strip‑level sticker shock. After being away from Vegas for more than a decade, I was stunned to see how outrageous buffet prices have become—many big‑name hotels like The Wynn and Caesars now push close to $90 per person. So finding Market Place Buffet at $36.99 for brunch felt like discovering one of the last true values in town. We were staying near Summerlin, did plenty of research, and this spot absolutely delivered. The Champagne Brunch was impressive across the board. There’s genuinely something for everyone—build‑your‑own salad bar, breakfast classics, Italian dishes and pizza, carved meats, Asian cuisine, seafood, shrimp cocktail, sushi, and a full dessert bar. They also rotate themed nights like Prime Rib, Seafood, Aloha, and Mexican, which keeps things interesting. Cleanliness is another standout. Coming from Salt Lake, I’m used to seeing buffets in parts of Nevada where dirty plates linger on tables far too long. Not here. The staff is attentive, quick, and clearly takes pride in keeping the dining room spotless. The only misstep came from the cashier. When we didn’t leave a pre‑tip, she tossed out a snarky “Thanks for the tip!”—a comment that felt unprofessional and completely unnecessary. We left a generous 25% tip with our server, so the attitude was both misplaced and out of line. It was the one moment that broke the otherwise excellent vibe and highlighted a need for better customer‑service training. Aside from that brief interaction, Market Place Buffet is absolutely worth checking out if you want a solid, affordable buffet without the inflated Strip pricing. We’ll definitely be back on our next trip.
Possibly the greatest fruit salad ive ever seen. Every entree I tried was quite good.
I love it! Its a really good buffet. Really clean and very good workers there!. Its my favorite buffet
Best brunch in Vegas! Price was about 35 per person. Large variety of food. Place is bright and clean. Service was impeccable.
****Follow my IG @heidy.guevara.realtor for more honest places/reviews from me 🙃***** First time coming here for Thanksgiving! The overall experience was nice, but here are some things that I want to point out. This place is also located inside a hotel & this hotel does have slot machines as well. Things I liked: -Affordable pricing $65 per person (before tax & other unnecessary fees) -Alot of options in food and dessert Things I didn't like: -If you wana come on Thanksgiving, come EARLY (They open at 4pm) because the lines get loooonnggg and the wait time is 1hr+. -Parking is terrible, its hard to find as it gets BUSY. So plan accordingly... ****Follow IG @heidy.guevara.realtor for more honest places/reviews from me 🙃*****
Veterans Day experience was marvels but I had to cut my time short. I would’ve loved to stay longer. The food is excellent staff is very friendly. The lines were very long or else I would’ve had more quality time. I want to say a special thanks to the staff and Management for allowing Veterans to eat Free. Vietnam Vet 68-69. Much appreciated God bless 🇺🇸America
Amazing buffet experience at the Rampart Hotel! The Butchery Carvery Rotisserie offers an incredible variety with everything beautifully displayed – fresh bakery items, extensive salad bar, fresh fruits, and delicious main courses. Parking is plentiful, which makes visiting super convenient. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was wonderful with nice background music. The space is well-designed with a large dining area where tables are nicely spaced apart, giving you plenty of room to move around and access the buffet stations comfortably. The food quality is outstanding – everything was incredibly delicious! At around $25 per person, this is excellent value for the quality and variety you get. Highly recommend this spot if you’re in Las Vegas and looking for a great buffet experience!
Checked out the Market Place buffet today for Aloha night and for $33 it was pretty solid! Pretty much everything we ate was good with the exception of the honey walnut shrimp and corn on the cob otherwise everything else was excellent! Staff was friendly and attentive. Best kept buffet secret in Vegas imo especially for the price! I'll definitely be back. Additional photos located on my profile page and videos on my YouTube page ( VivaLasVegasX ) I've been about 10 times now. Aloha and prime rib nights are the best. Lunch is ok, no premium meats though Back again last night for prime rib night! Such a great buffet for $34
Extremely good quality at a reasonable price. The best thing about Marketplace Buffet is the staff. Everyone works extremely hard to make their guests feel welcome. Thank you to all of the Marketplace Buffet staff for always doing such a great job.
My family visited from out of state and we had a dinner at Rampart Market Place Buffet on a Saturday- Hawaiian/Aloha Food. Each one enjoyed their experience. The food was great and worth the price. The service was exceptional.
Great buffet on a budget! I saw this place on a YouTube video and had to try it. It's definitely far away from The Strip (Lyft needed), but the extra money to get there and back was worth it since most buffets on the Strip are over $100+ per person. Staff was very friendly. It wasn't crowded at all, so we didn't have to deal with buffet congestion. Decent selection of food, but probably not as big as expensive buffets.
Market Place Buffet is a fantastic find off the Strip! I stopped here on my way to Red Rock Canyon, and it was such a pleasant surprise. The price is very reasonable, and the variety of food options is incredible. I only wish I had discovered this place sooner! I strongly recommend it to anyone looking for a great buffet experience without the high prices of the Strip.
I feel compelled to write this review after reading a couple of wildly unfair complaints about this place. My wife and I stopped here for dinner on a Thursday. At $33 including prime rib it was a good deal. We also found it clean and well organized. The food quality and taste ranged from average to very good, and I'd say nothing was bad. Even the service was good. It doesn't equal the buffets on the strip, but still has a pretty good selection, and at less than half the price it's a way better value while still offering a quality buffet experience. We plan to go back.
Rampart Buffet was a very nice experience. The restaurant was very clean. Active staff cleaning and washing everything down. The food was good. Staff is friendly and professional. Smiles and a nice layout at every station. Everything looked very good and tasted better. The manager, Ann, approached us, making sure everything was up to par. It was wonderful! Thank you. Perfect choice for everything you could want as an option. The Price is worth in comparison to other places. Highly recommend. Enjoy!
12/2023 We dined here for lunch. It was very nicely decorated for Christmas. There was wait to be seated. Customer service was excellent. All the stations were neat and clean. Choics are varied. We love the food here. The price is reasonable. There is ample parking with handicap access. 4/2023 We dined here for lunch again. Customer service was friendly. They seated us right away. All selections looked fresh and yummy. I had the seafood entres. They were prepared well and delicious. The server was friendly, attentive and courtrous. Definitely will return. They opened for lunch this May in addition to brunch and dinner. Lunch is available Monday, Thursday and Friday. We went on Monday at 11 am. The wait line was very short. Customer service was excellent. Our server stopped by several times to see if we needed anything. She was very cheerful. There are handsanitizer dispensaries conveniently located within the buffet area. No masks required. You go up to the counter and serve yourself. Very neat clean and organized. Very nice selections at all the stations. Quality is excellent. Food was delicious. We will certainly return.
Market Place Buffet Inside the Rampart Casino, From the Strip It's 14miles away, 21 minute drive with Free Valet and self parking. Second time visiting this Casino and trying their weekday brunch buffet 11am to 2pm $26.00 total. Plenty of seating, place was nice and the staff is very friendly. They bring you whatever drinks you want (non alcohol) Italian section, Asian section, Omelette bar and American comfort food. Over all it was good for an average buffet. The Rampart Casino is very nice with plenty of games to choose from. Casino staff is also very friendly. I had a good time gambling at the Casino. Have a great time in Las Vegas 😊
Market Place Buffet located inside the Rampart Casino is a good buffet restaurant. Open 7 days a week. Hours: Lunch: 11 am – 2 pm Dinner: 4 pm – 8 pm Weekend Brunch: 9 am – 2 pm We dined in for a lunch date on a week day there was no wait time. Lunch Buffet - $21.99+ tax per Adult. Casual Dining, modern, good lighting, spacious, good set up for the culinary stations and the dining tables and chairs were nice. Culinary Stations include: Asian Cuisine Omelette Station Italian Station Soup, Salad and Fruit Station Carving Station American Station Dessert Station Our server Elvira was very sweet, friendly and always smiling. She was awesome! Our favorite was the Omelette Station. We had fresh made omelette’s and we requested for fresh eggs too and it was so delicious. Abundance of Bacon and Breakfast sausage were also available. A Sweet Lady was working the Omelette Station to bad we didn’t get her name. Overall, our lunch buffet here was enjoyable.
If you like all you can buffet this is a good place to try. Classic American food, market place buffet. Located inside the JW Marriott resort summerlin Las Vegas. Many items to choose from, on Thursday for only $31.99 you can have all you can eat prime rib and many different seafood varieties. Also the desserts so many choices. I definitely will be back again anytime I am in Vegas.
I think what needs pointed out, since NO ONE will tell you. If you're looking for Prime Rib, come in the evening only. The staff is great. Manager offered to come talk to us or refund us, which is great Customer service. But the food was awful. It was more like an 8.99 hood buffet. The meat loaf and sausage at the carving station was an insult.
Re the MARKET BUFFET in the Rampart Casino We go to this buffet regularly and typically are impressed with how friendly and pleasant the staff are. This was not the case this last time in. We had the unfortunate luck of being placed in "Mario's" section. He was the worst server that we have ever encountered in Vegas. We sat down and he NEVER came to our table to offer us drinks, until we made the effort to engage him. This all happened while he made chitty-chat with the people at the table next to us who were seated about 7 -10 minutes after us. We could not help but notice that they were quickly offered drinks and extra napkins, while we were offered nothing. When I did ask for extra napkins, he gave me the nastiest look. The eye contact that I got off this guy was creepy and bordered threatening. It was as if he thought he knew me from somewhere.... ? I do not know, but it was bizarre at best. When I asked for bottled water, he made a huge production about this; stated that he would have to walk to a different section of the room to get it, and that the bottled water was only for staff. I have been given bottle water at least a dozen times at this buffet and never had it be such an issue. Finally, he brought us 2 small bottles. THAT IS ALL WE HAD TO DRINK OUR ENTIRE DINNER! He never ONCE while we were dining, asked if we wanted something else to drink or if we needed anything. I tried to speak with a manager at the end of this experience, but as it was getting close to closing time there was no one in the cashier area. Mario's behavior was at best strange and not how anyone should be treated when they go out to dine. F- / 0 is the rating for this experience.
