Excellent, top-quality meat. Very tasty and beautifully presented. All ingredients are genuine and succulent. Abundant desserts. The owners are kind, friendly, and respectful of their customers. If you drop a handkerchief, they'll replace it immediately; that's never happened to any other restaurant. The place is clean, comfortable, well-organized, and punctual.

Last night we had dinner at this charming restaurant located in the historic center of Lavagna. It offers classic Tuscan cuisine, but with some interesting reinterpretations, the result of the chef's lively creativity. The atmosphere is small but very pleasant, and the owner personally describes the off-menu dishes in great detail, enriching an already extensive menu. The wine list is good, and we chose a 2022 Chianti Classico "Perano" from Frescobaldi, one of the cornerstones of Tuscan winemaking, which paired beautifully with the food. For starters, we shared coccoli with prosciutto and stracchino cheese, followed by tagliatelle with porchetta and truffle (truly divine!!!) and pici alla carbonorcina (a kind of carbonara revisited with sausage), which was also very good. For main courses, we ordered the fillet steak in Chianti (cooked perfectly rare, just the way I like it!) with caramelized onions and baked potatoes, and the peposo with mashed potatoes and fried polenta, which was also excellent. Finally, desserts included the classic cantucci with vin santo and a cantucci crumble with mascarpone and chocolate chips. A glass of water and two coffees rounded out a truly unforgettable dinner, for a final bill (including a small, welcome discount) of €140 for two—certainly not cheap, but absolutely fair given the high quality of the dishes we ordered and the top-notch ingredients used. We can't wait to return, especially to try some of the other mouth-watering dishes we saw being served at nearby tables, including perhaps the Florentine steak. Highly recommended for lovers of Tuscan cuisine! Bravo!

The atmosphere on the terrace is great! The waiters are very kind and helpful! The food (especially the charcuterie plate and the beef fillet with chianti) was amazing!

This restaurant really exceeded my expectations! By far the tastiest restaurant I have been to during my holiday. The staff is super friendly and pleasant, they really make you feel at home. You can sit very comfortably in front of the restaurant on the terrace, or in the back in a beautiful garden. If you're in the area you should definitely pay a visit!

We wanted to enjoy a local restaurant and found this jewel. No menus in English was the first sign we avoided the tourist traps and found what we were looking for. This place is spectacular, the food, the owners the atmosphere everything was perfect. Truly recommend it for anyone who wants a genuine Italian experience.
