They were open at 4 a.m. love this place. I was scared coming in, thinking they would only have breakfast food but I was pleasantly surprised to see I could still order 3 mc chickens.

A lot of homeless people hang around this location. I was hoping McDonald's would do more for them. Having a locked bathroom & security person to throw them out after 20 or 30 minutes isn't nice. I wish they could step up and do more for the community they're in.

My coffee is always made wrong even though the instructions are very simple.

This McDonald's locks the bathroom due to a high volume of drug users and activity. They do this to prevent overdoses in the bathroom and protect there valued customers.

They had fast service for what I ordered (shake and cookies). However, the self serves never have tickets.

Always busy so they are slower then normal. Lobby was nice and clean and pretty quite. Kids didn't complain so food must of been good.

It could be better if They put ketchup in the bag when people order fries, and when customers order chicken nuggets ask what sauce they would like I got none of the above..and no napkins 😤

Always get my order wrong, and not too friendly...waited a long time in line inside bcz they were dealing with drive thru only for like 15 mins. I waited in line and then got my food in total I was there over half hour, SO MUCH FOR "FAST !" FOOD. LOL

Its relatively fast but I think they can do better. The burgers need more work but if you want a fast meal then use the drive through and your good to go.

If you want a cheap coffee or food this is the place. Problem is no matter what time you go you wait in line. Even if there's no line. Make sure that they make your order the way YOU want it because it seems like they're not very good at listening.

They never let you finish ordering... You order one thing and they're like ok pull up. I'm like there are multiple people I'm buying for chill.

Food is ok but wait time is kind of ridiculous as you may be there for an extended period of time waiting for your food. So give yourself and extra 10-15 minutes to wait just in case.

Came here for about adult happy meal but sadly they don't offer it at this location. This location was also the slowest working MCD I've ever been too. Idk if they're low on employees they could've apologized regarding the situation and i wouldnt have wrote a bad review. When I finally got to order the drive thru person had me repeat myself atleast 4x when I speak English perfectly fine. I'll go there again because it's convenient to me and its my kids favorite but if it wasn't I'd rather drive elsewhere and even further

This is the most expensive McDonald's ive been too. They over price everything large shakes are almost $7 its ridiculous, if im not using the app i wouldnt dare visit this McDonald's. I should also note, typically Large shakes are no more than $5 with tax!

Was in Lawrence for business and my son was hungry so we searched for the nearest quickest option which was this McDonald's on Broadway. We should've have parked to order via their App because the Associate at the window greeted us in English, then switched to Spanish and made a loud fuss in the background when she realized we were sticking with English. They have people hanging around the drive-thru who ask you for change and/or to buy them food. It's no big deal if one has cash to spare or no budget limit - but I understand how uncomfortable it is when one's focus it to simply get some nourishment without being accosted. My son found the fries fresh and tasty. The rest of his meal was equally satisfying.

The store is clean and well designed, but I had to take 2 stars off for the homeless people allowed to float around and ask people to buy them stuff. The speed of service is lacking dearly. Whoever is managing that store needs to focus more on staffing, and making sure employees know what they're doing. The food was decent. The fries were alright. The crispy chicken was standard. The frappe was yummy. The iced coffee was good. But back to the service: I added an extra star because they brought food to the tables for people that ordered to stay. But they need to do better with point of sale. The cashier didn't know how to ring up a crispy chicken. However, she stated she doesn't usually work the register, so again that's a management issue.

I ordered a cheeseburger and there was no pickles. I went back to the counter to ask for pickles on my burger I got an attitude. I also witnessed someone asking a question about mcdoubles the the customer was told they dont sell them any more. Even though it is clearly on the menu.

It took 20 minutes to order and recieve food in the drive through despite not being behind anyone in line; that was a little ridiculous. The order was right though and the food was fine.

I had to change my original post after I went back several times. If you look around the parking lot and inside Mc Donald you will notice lots of drug addicts hanging out it's there spot to ask for money and for money and get high in the bathroom. I think the worker's have more there than any other Mc Donald I've been. If eat inside it always smells bad I do see them cleaning.

Got my food fast and they put some extra nuggets in. I went inside because the drive thru was completely full. On the way in there was some lady with a sweater wrapped around her knee visibly in pain struggling out the door and into the parking lot. Must have been 3-5 homeless people hanging out inside. Like the other guy said hamburgers with a side of hepatitis

It's a McD's. The drive-through was functional and the people, though tired, were polite enough. Not ideal service, but my passengers said the food was good. They also said the McFlurry toppings weren't mixed, though, so I'm marking this place down a star.

Like my Wendy's review these people are fast for the most part and they deal with alot of crazy. The place is clean. I had to change the review this location always over cooks and dries out their food.

3:35 pm Drive thru was out to the street entrance, so i decided to walk in and make my order, their were at least 8 customers standing waiting for a cashier. As i got closer i see the manager just attending the drive-thru. For at least 7 mins we were standing there like if somebody owe’d us something. Finally young kid came up barely knew how to hit the buttons. THROW AWAY THE STAFF HIRE NEW.

Well the 4.5 years I've lived here and been going to this particular McDonald's on Broadway St. in Lawrence, they always super slow. There can be nobody in restaurant or drive thru and it still takes em 10-15 minutes to come up front and half cashier's can't speak English so they have to get another employee to understand English speaking customers. The hours on door for restaurant say they open at 6am,well they don't open till they feel like it, around 7-7:30am. They always standing around on their phones or talking with each other. The other morning, after waiting 20mins.for my breakfast (which made me late for work), there was nobody in restaurant or drive thru,they forgot my hash browns with my meal and the meals are expensive enough,I didn't go back because it doesn't matter,so many have complained and nothing changes I've never liked this particular McDonald's.

The store has changed it's decor and is much more pleasing than before. I had a couple of burger specials which were rather inexpensive. They were tasty. There was a small error but it was fixed. The staff was kind and not abrasive. McDonald's has a huge parking spots. It's on the corner of a main intersection of route 28 which makes it very easy to get in and out. It's very visible from the road. People come there by walking in or driving. The change is certainly made the place more palatable for Lawrence. I chose a food that I thought was as free of added items as possible. There are a number of things that I would never choose at the McDonald's because I know how it's made. But I was desperate and I was waiting so I came over. It's strange because the coffee is much more expensive relative to the food. There is no senior discount. I think the coffee prices are completely outrageous and unwarranted. It's just another means of targeting your wallet. If you choose the safer foods. And you don't buy coffee but you have some specials then it's semi worthwhile. Anything else is not.

Ordered a mcgriddle and a big breakfast through door dash. Only got the big breakfast and a bare sausage patty at the bottom of the bag, no wrapper or anything. Got the refund but still, how do you miss a whole sandwich but throw a bare piece of meat in the bag?

I’m not one to usually complain, but my recent experiences at McDonald's have been consistently disappointing. Despite ordering and paying for sauces, and even seeing them noted on my receipt, I'm consistently left without them. This has happened on no less than fifteen separate occasions. It's frustrating to have the order acknowledged at the screen, only to be forgotten when I receive my meal. I hope management addresses this issue soon.

Always a wait. No matter what time you go. No matter how many customers. ALWAYS. A. WAIT. Just waited 10 minutes for a sausage burrito and a coffee with noone ahead of me. Smdh...$15 an hour my ass

i just came from this location. i ordered a #7. i was in the passenger seat, so I hadd to have thee driver place the order. He had to repeat the order atleast three times. and its like the person taking the order wasn't listening because she kept repeating herself and asking the same questions over and over. we asked for apple pies. we were charged for them, and then told at the second window that they didnt have them. i asked for 4 honey mustaard sauces. and the recept even said 4 honey mustard. i get all the way home and there is 2 bbq sauces. i work at a Dunkin Donuts and did a 10 hour shift. this was so aggravating to have to go through at 10:30pm. Someone tell this shift to wake up and pay attention.

For some reason if you go right before 6am you'll be lucky to get any service. First of all about 6 times I've been there around that time there is something wrong & they've told me I need to order from the window for which I have to wait 10 to 15 minutes to get to it and when I do, they tell me is cash only. The service sucks and it is always full of drug fiends that come from the methadone clinic a block away. I wouldn't recommend it.

I didn't have a good experience at McDonald's at Broadway St. and Essex St. In Lawrence Ma..first of all this place seems more like a homeless shelter than anything with a bunch of bums in every corner here and when you go to the cashier there is this smell of cheap wine and the place you wipe after you go to the bathroom, and not long ago right before Christmas a fight broke out in the parking lot and some guy was beating up his girlfriend in front of every one and at least some one stopped him but the way they stopped him was way out of hand..they put a knife in the guy like 10 times! I'm sorry if I sound negative but I really wouldn't bring the family to this exact location. 😒

I tried to give this McDonalds on ESSEX ST another chance. But when receiving my order, the person who attended me gave a big gasp because I asked for napkins, ketchup and barbecue sauce. I asked for the manager and she was the manager. I asked for the one above. I was told she's not in and told that worker and the manager reacted as if she didn't do it. I will never come back. And, i promise to let all my friends and family that this McDonald's is no good service at all.

Whoever is in charge of this McDonald’s has failed horribly at providing a safe establishment to eat. Crackheads surrounding the drive thru and reports of robbery’s in the drive thru line due to the negligence of the manager and franchise owner. I realize this review will lead to absolutely nothing changing but it just has to be put out there how bad this McDonald’s is. Then again it is in Lawrence.

The dude talking on the drive thru sounded like he hadn't slept in a week. Asked for 2 crispy chicken sandwiches, no other condiments except bacon and cheese, a chocolate shake with no whipped cream or cherry on top, and a 10 piece nuggets with Spicy Buffalo sauce. Both my sandwiches had a BURGER PATTY in them instead of crispy chicken, and they put a whole mess of condiments, and left out the bacon and cheese, they gave me a VANILLA shake AND put the whipped cream and cherry on top, they LEFT OUT my chicken nuggets, but were nice enough to remember to put the sauce in, but instead of Spicy Buffalo, it was RANCH! Never seen a McDonald's with such an incompetent staff ever! Won't be coming back here ever again even if this was the last McDonald's on Earth!

I'm not sure why I never gave a review... but anyone who been here knows this place shouldn't be given a star, this place shouldn't even be open. For some reason they advertise their dining room hours as 6am-11pm when they are actually, if you're lucky, only 7-10. The prices are absurd for a city that has so many other food options, its flooded with drug addicts every morning, I dont care that its lawrence, Wendy's, burger king. They are right there, Burger King opens at 6am too why dont they have this problem. They dont care about their image or what people think about them, it's obvious by how they deal with their hours, so why not pay local police to be there for an hour or 2 in the morning to redirect the drug addicts to- anywhere else! Then come back and arrest them if they return after you leave.

Not only was not one employee wearing their mask over their face, but when I declined to come in due to safety concerns they threatened to call the police even though I told them calmly I did not feel comfortable exposing myself to their lack of following covid Guidelines. They all refused to give their names “it’s McDonald’s they all should have name tags on” until a women names Jennifer finally gave me my order. No idea if she is a manager or not. Not only are the employees rude and beyond unhelpful, they put everyone’s lives at risk that go to the store. DONT EAT HERE UNLESS YOU WANT COVID

Employees are taking online orders that are paid for and refusing to give to delivery drivers. Do not use this place, they had 7 delivery bags waiting for pick up and REFUSED to give to a few drivers that were there and instead are taking the orders home themselves! Worst employees ever!

The staff was very unprofessional running around the store laughing playing tag making us wait at the window for ten minutes to then tell us the door dash window is the last window I go up to the window they leave me standing there for 15 minutes mins you my order was there . Order is wrong 90 % of the time. Take your money to a local bodega to get a whole some meal the franchisee is just collecting off this franchise. At this point doesn’t matter if your order in English, Spanish or any other language for that matter. For the cost and hassle go to a mom and pop shop nearby and feed your whole family some wholesome food.

I avoid this McDonald's but my daughter wanted a breakfast this morning. I was greeted by a rude female employee. No good morning greeting or eye contact. She just extended her arm out the window while she looked at her ordering screen. I made or point of saying "have a nice day" and she just had a blank stare. Management needs to address this issue with their employees. Why should we be treated so rudely if we are the customer. Tired of everyone's rude attitude.

Worst McDonald's I have ever been too. Against better judgement I stopped in on my way to work, my order was wrong and missing items (I only ordered a coffee and an oatmeal) so IDK how that gets messed up. The staff was rude and acted as if doing their job was too much to ask. Next time I am off my normal work path Ill drink my work coffee. All the employees need a serious attitude adjustment and a lesson in customer service. 90% of time your order is not correct then you get an attitude when you complain and even hung up on.

No English speakers at all. Came here at 3 am to do a door dash order and got rudely yelled at in Spanish because I said I couldn’t understand what they were saying and they said something as I was leaving loudly that sounded horribly rude! I’m shocked that in an English speaking country this business puts somebody who speaks no English at the fricken window… like who does that…. What the heck. I have never seen that before where I’m from. Anyway this place should be ashamed. The wait times are over an hour at night and the people staffing this location could care less about anything they do. Whoever owns or manages this franchise needs a serious mental health checkup. They should never have been put in charge of a business! I highly recommend you lecture your staff about being rude to customers and I highly recommend management comes out at night and see how their little business is being run into the dang ground…. Stop putting non English speakers in customer facing roles like come on now.

First of all it smelled like accumulated trash, second of all, they weren’t wearing heart protection, third of all they got my order completely wrong, fourth of all I saw an employee with not too curly but curly hair scratching his head and didn’t even washed his hands, six of all you go in and the first thing you see on the floor is trash it looks like no one cleans it, seventh of all they are too slow it took them 20 minutes to make a double cheeseburger and a strawberry smoothie and they even got it wrong, gave me attitude, and it stink. If I were yall I wouldn’t go to this location, I also feel like every McDonald’s Employee should wear hair protection to cook there or anywhere in fast food restaurants.

I went to ask for the bathroom very politely and respectfully. The woman dressed in a green shirt approached and, with a sour face and a bad mood, said, "ay vaya!" Then she only held the button down for about five seconds. I couldn't get in. Then I heard her say, "y esta," like that in Spanish. Honestly, every time I go shopping, I have a bad experience with the employees. They always take orders with a bad attitude. If I couldn't give them one star, I wouldn't.

Well short version, the got my order wrong, we went back and then they got it wrong again. To make it worse it’s Monopoly month and we didn’t even get the monopoly wrapping on 2 of the 4 items. I am pretty sure they are just pocketing it and stealing them. Long version, We order using the McDonald’s app. We order 2 hash browns 1 Sausage Egg Biscuit 1 Sausage, Egg & Cheese McGriddle We pulled up and gave the code, took two tries and then we got to the second window they handed it to us and didn’t even say anything. Okay that’s fine, so be it. So we drive off and then the realize one, they gave us the 2 hashbrowns and Sausage, Egg & Cheese McGriddle, but the Sausage Egg Biscuit was actually a Sausage Cheese Biscuit. So we turn around and drive back. Then we tried to explain in English and the person tried to actually add Sausage Egg Biscuit and a Sausage Cheese Biscuit to our order. She didn’t understand so my wife asked if she spoke Spanish and then explained it in Spanish. So we pulled up and showed them the order in the app and the cashier and manager didn’t to seem to understand for some reasons what the issue was. So after some back and forth the said okay pull up and we will get the right one. So we pull forward and after a min the manager hands us the order and side eyes us. As if it was our fault they made it wrong. So we drive off again which was a mistake. I decided to let it cool down and then once we got to the main road opened it and it was same wrong order🤬!!! To make it worse they still didn’t give us the monopoly wrapping! In the app we specifically bought from the monopoly section as you can see in the pictures. What makes me the most upset is not only did they waste our time, we had order ahead to save time and ended up with 2 wrongs order and not all the monopoly spaces because they are stealing them. We got awful service and it didn’t matter what language we said it in. Idk how I can get a refund because a sausage cheese biscuit is way less than a sausage egg biscuit.

Everytime I come to this location is a disappointment. Either the order is wrong or there is a huge delay in mobile order when you order ahead its suppose to save you time not have you sitting at the stop sign as your 30 min lunch break slips away. Ive emailed about these issues before the quality varies. If you dont have time to kill or time for nonsense go to a different location.

I was towed from McDs on Broadway location., Lawrence per McDonalds hired tow service after ordering lunch there. I was parked in a location which displayed a sign stating do not block the gate. My car was parked from a distance from the gate to allow access. There was no excuse for towing my car. That is the way that McDonalds treats their customers and I will do my breakfasts and lunches elsewhere. OUTRAGEOUS!

If I could give no stars I would. This is by far the worst McDonald’s location EVER! The service is extremely slow? How about not getting service after sitting at the drive thru window for 5 minutes without a “good morning we’ll be right with you”. I’ve worked a job like this it’s not hard 🤷‍♀️ other days where I do get service it’s extremely slow and they’re always having you pull off to the side and wait for your order even if you’re the only car in the drive thru.

parked my car there at 9:40 pm , parking lot was empty,about 25 minutes, they towed my car, they told me I'm not there customer can't park there.I called the towing service number which McDonald give me, find out the towing company just next street from McDonald's (I think they have deal with McDonald's) I walk there pick up my car immediately, and they charged $172 !! Like a Robber !!

They always forget the sauces. You have to make sure because by default they’ll give you barbecue when you asked for something else. Even tho it is written in your order so they do it on purpose. Then they get rude with you if you ask them for the right sauce. There are also always homeless people waiting at the speaker waiting to say something to you. Be prepared

The worst McDonald's restaurant is this ordering through the drive thru. First of all, I had to wait for three minutes so they start talking even though I was the only customer on the drive thru. Then, when they finally came to take my order, they asked me to repeat it in Spanish (apparently she didn't speak English). When I went to the first window to pay, nobody was there. I waited 2 minutes and decided to go directly to the second window. No one was there neither. I waited around 2 minutes and when the girl showed up, I asked her if she was the only one working there. She said that only her and the other one attending customers inside. I asked for the receipt when I paid but she told me that the registers had a problem so there is no receipt. When I open my bag to get my food, no sauce at all. So I had to eat my sausage burrito without sauce. The service is terrible at breakfast time.
