WoW is all I can say. This place is amazing. The staff is super friendly. The chicken sandwiches are out of the workday good. They are loaded with all the beat toppings, and cooked to perfection. The chicken bites are so good crispy on the outside and juicy kn the inside. I would highly recommend if your in the area stopping by. The owner Nicole was pleasure to conversate with. All around great place.
Courtesy of Yelp Elite: First off. Cat and Dom, great people. Amazing customer service and personableness. (Pretty sure that’s a word but if it’s not I still mean it :). This is fast casual and has some cool set ups. A dedicated to go door and window, plus the ordering electronic pad to the left of the window. There’s a happy hour for 1/2 price drinks 3-6. You pay for the card and tap it to get the amount you ordered. My son is a fried chicken connoisseur. He liked that the bun was warm and the meat was crispy. It met kid approval with no heat. They do have options for a heat range if you want more. They have board games available and we played Sorry. There’s a bean bag toss available. Pretty family friendly and perfect for anyone wanting a casual night out. Seemed very clean and in a new building. They do have a gf option of grilled chicken on lettuce. The housemade pickles did truly taste like the canned pickles my mom made growing up.
My wife and I stopped by for the first time after work today. We both got the Classic Daddy meal with fries and coleslaw and it was delicious. The batter was great, light and airy. It left us full but not feeling bloated. Service was great, both the cashier and owner were super friendly and attentive. We also had a few beers using their self-serve machine. The machine requires you to fill up a charge card like you would at a Dave and Busters. At first I was a little hesitant, but after trying it I am sold. It allowed us to try more beers than we normally would without having to buy a whole glass. Last thing I'll mention is that the happy hour specials were great. Definitely feel like we got our money's worth. Will be back!
Awesome new chicken place! Tons of them popping up, but this is the best new one I've found. Great food, staff was awesome, and they have beers on tap! Highly recommended.
My family ate lunch here for the first time today. The staff was very patient and kind. They took time to explain the menu to us. We ordered the All American Daddy sandwich (I asked for no slaw) at the number 2 spice level with fried pickles instead of fries. The sandwich was delicious, and the piece of chicken was thick. The fried pickles were very good. My only negative about the pickles is they were too thin. Breading was great. We also ordered popcorn chicken and Nashville fingers without any of the sauce mixes. They were good. The Daddy doing sauce and bbq sauce are homemade and very good. If you have kids don't like spice, stick with ketchup because the bbq sauce also has a small kick to it. We enjoyed it. A little pricey after tax and tip. For 3 of us it was $47. We'll definitely be going back.
Great to have an actual food option around here that isn't just the normal fast food. Chicken sandwich was great and the loaded fries are above and beyond fantastic. Got the fried pickles as my side and they were amazing. For a day 1 soft open this is really good. Look forward to eating more in the future.
We have never been here before but MJ was so welcoming and fantastic. He gave us space to navigate the menu and was very patient with our first time guest questions. Food was fresh and delicious! Thanks MJ for making our first time here fantastic! We will definitely be back for another classic chicken sandwich and fried pickles 😋
This place is located on the road leading to the Crystal Falls Golf Club. I have eaten there 3 times before playing golf. I actually like the taste of their grilled chicken better than one of the other most popular chicken places. It is very juicy white meat. Their menu has good variety. Their restaurant is always squeaky clean. Their service feels a little bit slower than other places but it is more than worth the few extra minutes because they only serve fresh, hot chicken sandwiches and strips. Lots of seating and friendly employees.

Tender, juicy and crispy chicken sandwiches with generous portions. The house-made fried pickles are delicious, and so are the seasoned fries.

My family and I have eaten food from Daddy's numerous times, we've NEVER been let down! The chicken sandwiches are amazing, the chicken bites are amazing, the breakfast burrito, amazing, seeing a trend? Everything is really good. Their service is above reproach, exceptional, they are friendly and more than accommodating. I love spicy food, I asked them to make it burn your bottom hot and they did. My daughter picked up our lunch today, and they were great to her. Hard to believe customer service is still alive, at Daddy's it sure is. They have a happy hour with serve yourself tap beer. There are chicken places popping up all over Leander, Daddy's is the best. This place is an absolute gem, do yourself a favor and give them a try, you won't be disappointed.
My kids love chicken places and luckily we now have variety in our area with the addition of Daddy’s! The tenders are so big and we had the medium hot and it was just right. Service was friendly, prompt and we really love the Daddy’s sauce! We will definitely be back to try more on the menu and appreciate that they do spirit nights for local groups at the schools.
Got the hot crispy Nashville Daddy with a side of fried pickles, it was amazing! The perfect spice level, and the flavors..omg!m, DELICIOUS! You can customize your sandwich to your liking. My husband got the Burrito Daddy and the loaded fries. Everything was really good. Def recommend this place!
Stopped in for lunch today as a first timer. Dominic, the person up front was very helpful. He explained the difference between each sandwich, his personal favorites and a little bit about the company. He was super helpful, polite and had a great energy about him. The food came out fresh and hot. Definitely coming back again!

The food and service was excellent. Chicken was juicy and flavorful. The fries were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Sweet tea was delicious. More people need to eat here so they stick around. Next time I am trying their all day breakfast.

I wasn’t able to get as many pictures of the establishment as I would have like to but I really loved the layout and cleanliness throughout the restaurant. They had a separate area for to-go and delivery orders which I also thought was nice. The staff member that checked me in was patient and helpful while answering all of my questions and providing recommendations at my request. Once my food was ready they even walked it out to my table which was a nice touch. Customer service gets an A+! I ordered the Nashville Hot sandwich (spice level hot) with loaded fries and a salted caramel cookie. The food came out fresh and hot and there was a self serve station to grab condiments and soft drinks. The food was good, the loaded fries came out with lots of cheese and enough bacon to have bacon in pretty much every bite. I think sour cream and jalapeños would have been a nice addition, I’ll have to see if I can add those modifications on my next visit. The Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich seemed like it was missing something flavor wise, but the heat was there. The pickles on the sandwich left me wanting more, it made me wish I’d ordered the fried pickles. After eating all of that food, I was too stuffed to try the Salted Caramel cookie, but I am looking forward to enjoying it as a sweet treat tomorrow 🤤.
Daddy’s Chicken Shack for lunch today I was super excited. It's a bit of a drive, but it’s always worth it to check out a new foodie place I've never heard of before. As soon as I walked in I was greeted with excitement and she told me all about the menu. There was a specialty item that was only at this location which was the 512 burger and it was a must-try most definitely as it’s only at this location. I’m such a sauce girl and saw there were house-made sauces I chose the Daddy’s sauce & Sriracha mayo, the daddy’s sauce was my favorite out of them both the Sriracha mayo was more like a pickle taste to it I was surprised. The 512 burger was good but felt like it was missing a bit more flavor which she did mention they were out of the grilled onion that originally goes on it which I’m sure would have made it a lot tastier but the best thing is it’s loaded with real thick bacon, creamy slaw, and BBQ sauce whoosh that was good! The loaded fries were seasoned with nacho cheese and a bacon piece on top giving it that extra flavor. I’ll be back to bring my boys to try the fingers and bites
Stopped by the new Daddy's Chicken Shack location in Leander, TX. Tried the fried (pressure-cooked) chicken, the grilled chicken, seasoned fries, and several of the sauces. All were very good. Looking forward to trying more on the menu! PS. There's a table in the back hallway by los banos with coloring paper and crayons for the kiddos!
The only reason it's a 4 star is the price. 13$ for a regular sandwich combo is a lot. Chill vibe, good food, good service. The cook brought the food out which I hadn't seen before. Coke products and a beer tap it looks like.

Have given Daddy’s numerous visits before reviewing, but think I’m done coming here. Food is halfway decent compared to fast food, but they charge FAR too much for what they offer. Today ordered their chicken sandwich flight for $12.99, which consisted of three chicken nuggets in buns with various toppings. Ridiculously overpriced for 3 chicken nuggets worth of chicken. On this order, tried their new fried pickles and they were ok, but not a very good value for the $7.99 they charge. Seasoned fries have always been good, but today has a weird metallic flavor. We are really underserved in this neighborhood for fast food / fast casual spots, but this place ain’t worth it. I’d rather drive to T22 or Popeye’s if I’m feeling fried chicken.

The location is convenient, clean, and the food is fast. The fries are really good. The only problem is that the chicken itself is pretty bland. Very juicy and tender, but for a place advertising nashville-hot chicken it's just not flavorful.
Oh man, I wanted this place to be good. I ordered the original chicken sandwich combo. The sandwich was really not that good - the chicken was dry and kind of bland, the slaw looked really old and soggy. I scraped it off because it tasted like wet tissue. The only saving grace were the hot and crunchy French fries. The place does offer beer which is great. I didn’t try the beer so can’t comment on that. Service is good enough and atmosphere is alright. Weird smell as soon as I walked in but the place wasn’t crowded. All in all, I would rather eat at Tumble 22. I’m disappointed as this place is close to where I live.
My father had the Nashville chicken it was dry ordered, HOT but was disappointed to find out it wasn’t hot at all and it was dry and bland.i had chicken strips which by the way had almost note meat on them! And the taste wasn’t the worst but definitely not good. I also ordered an ice tea and something was in my drink.Only good part about this place is the sweet lady who took our order and the fry’s were good. We will more then likely not be back.

So, first time I ate here right when they opened had a chicken sandwich. And it was excellent! We stopped by two weeks ago to order two chicken tenders with coleslaw and a drink. The tenders were over cooked and contained no moisture and I’m not exaggerating when I say this was the worst coleslaw I’ve ever had. It was quite literally shredded lettuce. I should have taken a picture. Will next time. I hope they can get it turned around. Was very disappointed. It will be a little while before I give them another chance.
Paid $14 for 5 strips of breading with tiny chicken nuggets at the end. The chicken was like this when I got it to-go a few months ago, was hoping they would improve with time. Now we’re definitely not coming back.

We ordered Door Dash, chicken fingers, fries and coleslaw. The fingers were skinny and rubbery. We did not get sauce that was ordered with our chicken tenders. The coleslaw was limp watery and tasted as though it’s shelf life expired. The fries were the only good thing. Do not recommend.
