A very good place for lunch or dinner, home-cooked food at a good price and delicious. The beef entrecote and the lamb chops are 100% recommended. The croquettes are creamy and delicious. Reasonable prices, and above all, the staff gives us an 11. Attentive, friendly, and very pleasant. We are grateful that they let us bring our little dog in. We will definitely return. 5 stars is an understatement.

Delicious local dishes. For two people, a portion, a quarter of lamb, and dessert are more than enough. We ate very well with wine and water (€90 for two people total). The waitresses were very friendly and efficient.

We spent a day in Lerma, and the owner of the rural hotel El Zaguán recommended this grill restaurant. Thanks to her, the four of us who had lunch there left very satisfied. The restaurant is very well located, right on the main square. It's nicely decorated, with a charming and peaceful atmosphere. They have a spectacular roasting oven, which is how they prepare the meats they recommend. We ordered appetizers: Burgos black pudding and a plate of assorted mushrooms. Both were excellent. For our main courses, we ordered: • Grilled ribeye steak with French fries. Excellent meat, cooked to perfection. • Lamb chops with French fries and roasted red peppers. • Lamb leg, roasted in a wood-fired oven. Perfectly cooked. We also ordered house wine and desserts, both well prepared. The prices are very much in line with the quality. Lunch came to €45 per person. But you can say that the quality of the food was outstanding.

Wonderful experience. We stopped by by chance while traveling. Excellent food, including blood sausage and sirloin, spectacular ham croquettes, homemade potatoes, and the local olive oil bread. The value for money was excellent.

La comida muy rica pedimos las croquetas de jamón, el solomillo de ternera con patatas y pimientos y el flan de la casa. La atención muy buena, están muy pendientes en todo momento y son muy cordiales. La única pega es que han tardado un poco en servirnos la comida entre el entrante y el plato, cierto es que nos han avisado amablemente. El ambiente es bueno y acogedor.

Estábamos de paso y a pesar de no tener reserva nos sacaron un hueco en el comedor. La comida correcta, la ventresca con pimientos bien, la carne bien y el revuelto de setas estaba bueno, aunque las setas eran congeladas de bolsa. La decoración del local típica de asador y la atención bastante buena. La pena que no pudimos probar nada relacionado con el lechazo porque ya no había, es probable que si volvemos a pasar reservemos solo para poder probarlo.

Muy buen asador en la Plaza Mayor, decoración clásica. Carta de productos de la tierra, nada pretencioso oorque aqui lo que importa es el producto. Morcilla, cecina, ensalada muy buenas. Los principales, espectaculares, solomillo, chuletillas y sobre todo un lechazo increíble. Tuvimos una cena estupenda da con un servicio impecable.

10 of us came to Lerma during a road trip in July 2024… on the way back to the Paradore hotel we wanted to stop for an hour to enjoy a quiet beer, bottles of wine etc… the place was dead but the owner was very rude and wouldn’t let us sit down to have a drink without eating - shouting at us that it’s a restaurant…. So we went to the bar across (Taberna del Picaro) and they were more than happy to accommodate us… the atmosphere is brilliant and the way the place is decorated is very homely… we spent a wonderful time, great beers, wine and even large brandies all served perfectly with great service at a very very reasonable price

I had a very bad experience. Staff are not friendly and and more importantly they do not respect none spanish guests by giving priority seating to their locals. They did this very openly without giving any explanation. We left the restaurant without eating after 45 minutes waiting at the bar. I do not recommend it to none natives. There are plenty of other restaurants in the area.
