Pet-friendly with great beer and an incredibly welcoming atmosphere. The staff made us feel right at home from the moment we walked in. Patrick was especially attentive and made the experience even better 🙂 Wings are delicious!!
So glad we stopped here! Definitely off the beaten path, but the down home feel, good food and good beer make it worth the trip. Seriously the beers were too good to have such a high ABV. Not a complaint, a compliment! The tasting room is in the back, and very unassuming. Everyone was so nice! I could spend a lot of time here, but would need a DD as the road in is typical hill country windy.
Tiny, but relaxed, and with refined, flavorful beer. Well informed and enthusiastic owners. Nice addition to Liberty Hill, looking forward to expansion. My favorites: summer seasonal Weiss, and smoky Wee Heavy.
Great beers! The new taproom is great.
Good beer, nice atmosphere and they allow dry docking!
Great beer. Great folks. Try the Texas Red, you won't regret it.
Great craft brewery! Delicious, unique, brewed-on-site beers! Patrick and John (co-owners and brothers) are all about taking care of their customers! Open weekends, and a great little kitchen too!! Live music too!! Plenty of outdoor seating! Check them out!

Went for the first time tonight and the owners are awesome people and the beer/atmosphere were great!!! Definitely going to make this a more routine hang out spot. Can't wait to see how this diamond in the rough expands and grows...
Such a great place to sit, chill and we felt so welcomed by owners and locals at the bar. Definately come back here, so friendly, thank you
We had some beer at Malted Grains for lunch. We asked about the beer and they said it was a local brewery, San Gabriel River. We went the next day to check it out. The beer is great and the owner/brew master was an excellent host. We will definitely be back.
You can't go wrong with their beers! I have not had one I don't enjoy. We bought 2 pony kegs for our party & they were fantastic.
Great vibe all around. Had an interesting conversation with the team that touched on finance concepts I hadn’t been exposed to before, it was refreshing and engaging. Good music, beautiful Harvest Hosts property, and an impressive beer lineup with real variety. The pizza and wings were legit, no shortcuts here. You can tell management runs things with a meticulous, thoughtful approach, and ownership is clearly in it for the passion, not just the profit. Must visit.
The beer here is absolutely fantastic and the service is even better. Lots of information on malting and how that makes the complexity of the beer. Very nice if them to spend the time to be sure we had a great experience. Love the remote property. Comfortable bar stools. We will definitely be back!!
This is a small brewery with good beers. We stopped by on a cold night and they had a nice fire going. The outdoor seating is nice, we want to drop by in the daylight some time when it warmer. I was surprised to find the location as you drive through a neighborhood to find the brewwery the end of a dead end road.
This was our last stop of a 9 day 2000 mile RV trip. We did a Harvest Host at the brewery. We had a wonderful stay at the place, and the beer was the best we had the whole trip. Patrick was a wonderful host. Kinda tricky getting there, so watch your GPS navigation.
Great beer, great people and great food. What more could you ask for? If you're looking for these things in a quiet relaxing environment, away from the hustle and bustle, I definitely recommend this place.

Great beer. The Irish coffee porter rocks! Great outdoor seating. Call ahead to see if any food is cooking.
Loved the visit. The owners were friendly and informative on their beers. It was very pleasant. Check out there weekend schedule, they have entertainment.

We attended the Beer Festival. It wasn't as big as we thought. A fair assortment of beer choices, but not much for food options. A live band and seating was available. It was nice to see that there was security there.
Our most recent visit was a marked improvement across the board. Mostly in that they now have ample place to sit outside and the beer was colder and more carbed up this time. :) The new coffee porter is excellent, definitely the star of the show. The cream ale had an off flavor that I wasn't too fond of (if I had to describe it I'd say it was overwhelmingly floral to the point of taking on it's own pungent flavor), but that was made up for by the great Oktoberfest that had a nice caramely malty flavor. The honey porter is still a safe bet as well. The brothers that run it are very nice and really know how to make you feel welcome. We will definitely be back again and again!
Great experience, great people, great brews. A little pricey but since I am new to Texas may be market? Beer in general costs more here than AZ. Remote river location takes a little effort to find but well worth it and has beautiful vibe

Very disappointed. Drove out from Austin for our first visit to Brewery today, Saturday. Website and Google state they open at noon on Saturday, however when we got there, the sign said they were closed and would open at 4:00. Please keep your hours updated so people do not make a wasted trip
