Ristorante tipico molto popolare in pieno centro di Genova. Cucina ligure e non solo con specialità sia di terra che di mare. Ampia scelta tra antipasti (ottimo il misto di torte di verdure e ripeni), primi, secondi e dolci. Buona la scelta dei vini e ottimo rapporto qualità e prezzo.

Questo locale è stata una piacevolissima scoperta per me che non sono del posto. Ambiente accogliente, cura nell'arredamento, estrema pulizia. Personale gentilissimo, servizio veloce. Piatti eccellenti, dalla presentazione a, cosa fondamentale, il sapore. Se siete in dubbio fatevi consigliare, non rimarrete delusi. Ottimo rapporto qualità - prezzo. Ci tornerò sicuramente, e se passate da Genova vi consiglio di prenotare e regalarvi una bella serata! Posto trovato per caso. Non so sinceramente come fanno a dare recensioni negative o a 3 stelle. O peggio ancora a dire che è caro. Io e il mio compagno abbiamo trovato trovato tutti i piatti squisiti. Personale gentile, disponibile e soprattutto pronto a qualsiasi richiesta. Proprietari molto umili. Ambiente accogliente, rilassante e gioioso. Abbiamo mangiato 1 antipasto, 2 primi, 2 secondi, dolce e bottiglia di vino: 76€ Non mi sembra esagerato per la qualità e l'abbinamento dei sapori. Consigliatissimo. Ci torneremo sicuramente se saremo a Genova!

I piatti sono eccellenti e gli ingredienti freschissimi. La preparazione è una gioia per gli occhi. Il servizio è attento e ospitale. I prezzi sono moderati, e la combinazione di sazietà e piacere del palato rende davvero felici. Grazie!

We chose this restaurant spontaneously as we walked by and were drawn in by the amazing smell coming from the kitchen 🤍. I can honestly say it was one of the best, most delicious, and authentic local restaurants I’ve ever been to! The dishes were incredibly tasty, beautifully presented, and perfectly portioned—not too big, so you don’t overeat. The desserts were unbelievable and homemade 🙏. The waitress was super kind and friendly, and the waiting time for the food was very short. Definitely 5 stars from me ✨! I can’t wait to come back 🥰. P.S. The food pics not all, was too busy with eating and forgot to take them ☺️

Both the soup and the pasta were absolutely delicious. The house wine was also super fine! It was so hot in the restaurant, it was a little uncomfortable but nothing else to complain about!

Authentic experience family owned proud Genoa reastaurant. Good food, nice waiter, in tiny alley so you are unlikely to find somewhere like this by accident. For us it was a very lucky find to escape the pouring rain! It was packed and everyone finished everything. We were lucky to get a table without a reservation. We reccomend!

Our favorite dining experience during our visit to Genova, and up there for the best dining experiences I've had all year. The service was great, they were able to accommodate our limited Italian language skills and were very hospitable throughout the meal. But beyond that, the food was EXCEPTIONAL! All four of us thoroughly enjoyed every course of our meal. And the steak tenderloin was one of the most tender, and delicious cuts of meat I have ever eaten. If you are visiting Genova, make sure you dine at Gaia Vini & Cucina for an amazing example of Genovese dining and Italian hospitality.

Excellent restaurant slightly hidden away in an alley. We had a generous portion of fish which came with sliced potatoes and a very authentic tomato and olive based sauce that was a good balance of salty and sour. The fettuccine was delicious - couldn’t place the sauce and it had clams and basil. The fresh stir-fried artichokes were also generous in portion and so delicious. Great service. The staff could not speak English so ordering was a bit of pot luck which turned out well and judging by the clean plates on other tables is consistently so.

The ambiance is really nice, we were very well attended. Went with my husband to celebrate our anniversary, it's a great place for a date but also dinner with friends. The food doesn't take too long to come and it's very tasty! The primi piatti were amazing, but I the secondi were just ok, maybe it was our choices so idk. For desert we chose the gianduia mousse which was just absolutely incredible. I would definitely recommend, the service was good and the wine was perfect!!

Outside tables are put in a cozy way in the small street. The entree was zuchini with cheese and shrimps, really good. Pasta - homemade, also very delicious. Might be a bit overpriced (limoncello - 4 euros was a surprise), other than that really nice place.

Giudizio difficile perché i piatti non erano tutti allo stesso livello. Il battuto di gamberi stratosferico, la catalana poco cremosa e molto "frittatosa". Le tagliate al nero di seppia erano poco saporite, i tagliolini ai gamberi e zafferano buoni. Servizio veloce e personale gentile. Il locale, pur ben arredato, non ha finestre verso l'esterno. Prezzi intorno a 14 euro a piatto.

Ci era stato consigliato e abbiamo deciso di trascorre qui la serata! Piatti tipici genovesi in un locale carino. Particolarmente buoni i dolci, ti viene voglia di provarli tutti! Forse un po’ lunga l’attesa.

We were served fast and friendly. The food was delicious but the dessert was not their main strength. It was to sweet and a bit much for the level of sweetness. They also forgot to serve the coffee but after asking a second time they brought it right away. The house wine (white wine) was a 10/10 😊 I would go again but only for salty stuff. We paid 70€ for 2 people

Ristorante molto carino nel cuore del centro storico, che regala un ambiente caldo e tradizionale. Personale molto gentile e servizio ottimo. Purtroppo la tradizione genovese l'ho solo letta nel menù ma non assaporata nei piatti, ben presentati ma di un'autenticitá... turistica (sia nei sapori che nel rapporto qualità prezzo, 122 euro vino escluso, per 2 antipasti, 2 primi, 1 secondo, 3 dolci, 2 amari)! Valida la carta dei vini.

Bel locale situato in una traversa della nostra passeggiata per il centro storico. Il locale è molto carino e chi ci ha accolti e serviti è stato molto professionale. Abbiamo ordinato un antipasto ed un primo ,entrambi buoni ,anche se ci aspettavamo un antipasto un po più corposo e non sei assaggini. Tutto sommato esperienza piacevole.

Very bad service. The waitress that took care of us couldn't cope with stress, and it seemed like she took it out on us. We ordered an antipasto starter (deep fried zucchini flowers with shrimps, cheese and a saffron sauce) and some house wine. No problem with the service to this point, and the starter was actually divine (hence 2 stars instead of 1). From there on, the experience got worse. We had to wait around 45 minutes for the other two dishes to be served, and they didn't even arrive at the same time (as promised). First, the ravioli with their "special" ragu arrived. There was nothing special about that ravioli. It tasted more like something you could buy from the supermarket. Then, after 5-10 minutes, the traditional dried fish in a broth with potatoes arrived, and the broth was almost cold. We told the waitress that it was cold and that we wanted them to heat it up again. She didn't speak english well enough so she didn't understand what we meant, and ignored us for at least 10-15 minutes. Of course we don't expect people to speak fluent english, but instead of trying to communicate in other ways or use other words, she just got irritated with us. We even had to bring the plate to the kitchen ourselves. Finally, she understood what we meant and put the plate in the microwave oven. But she did it with a childish "annoying tourists"-attitude, which was totally uncalled for. Now, the dish was warmer but it was extremely bland and boring. In all this time, we didn't even get one "I'm sorry". We had to go inside to pay the bill because she was not even looking in our direction after the cold dish incident, and without a word she just printed out the bill and put it on the counter. We left without even saying good-bye. Very unfortunate, as the antipasto starter and the beginning of the evening was so promising.

A tourist trap, in my experience, as the food was not at all up to par. None of the four fish dishes tasted decently, far from it. The service was slow although, unlike the lady owner, the waitress was at least smiling and gentle.
