Con mia moglie abbiamo cenato in questo ristorante elegante raffinato di ottimo livello ubicato nel quartiere genovese della Foce vicino a Piazzale Kennedy ed ha soltanto tavoli interni disposti su due piani. Tavolo ben apparecchiato con pane e focaccia squisiti ed abbiamo ordinato: come prini trenette al pesto genovese con patate e fagiolini e come secondi una classica cotoletta alla milanese con le sue patatine ed insalata di stoccafisso con patate e olio nuovo ed infine come dolci sorbetto sl linone e un semifreddo alla nocciols. Tutto squisito buono e porzioni abbondanti con l’eccezione dello stoccafisso che era buono ma non eccezionale. Personale molto gentile cordiale competente e disponibile mentre il servizio è stato attento e molto veloce. I prezzi logicamente cari ma giusti ed a proposito del conto c’è stato un malinteso noi abbiamo chiesto ci portassero il conto al tavolo ma visto che tardava ad arrivare siamo scesi giù dalla cassa per pagare e l’equivoco è stato immediatamente risolto. My wife and I had dinner in this elegant, refined restaurant of excellent quality located in the Foce district of Genoa near Piazzale Kennedy and has only internal tables arranged on two floors. Well set table with delicious bread and focaccia and we ordered: such as prini trenette with Genoese pesto with potatoes and green beans and as second courses a classic Milanese cutlet with its chips and stockfish salad with potatoes and new oil and finally as desserts sorbet sl linone and a hazelnut semifreddo. Everything was delicious and generous portions with the exception of the stockfish which was good but not exceptional. Very kind, friendly, competent and helpful staff while the service was attentive and very fast. The prices were logically expensive but fair and there was a misunderstanding regarding the bill. We asked them to bring the bill to the table but since it was late in arriving we went down from the register to pay and the misunderstanding was immediately resolved.
Ristorante davvero spettacolare. Il locale è molto elegante e raffinato. Il personale gentile disponibile e discreto. La pulizia e l'ordine fantastici. Il cibo ottimo e curato nel minimo dettaglio. Nulla è lasciato al caso. Un posto romantico ed informale con angolini riservati se espressamente richiesto.
È sicuramente un ottimo ristorante, dove la qualità della cucina si unisce al confort della sala da pranzo. Ho pranzato e cenato qui in più occasioni, e non sono mai uscito deluso. Certo il prezzo di ciò che mangi non è poco, ma penso ne valga la pena, soprattutto in un panorama caratterizzato da tanta mediocrità e improvvisazione.
Bel ristorante, classico ma molto elegante, servizio impeccabile, cortesia e cura del cliente veramente di alto profilo, cucina ligure di alto livello e piatti ricercati sempre di alto livello. Carta dei vini molto curata con un'ottima scelta di prodotti per tutte le tasche. Lo consiglio vivamente perché per me è stata un'ottima esperienza. Sicuramente è diventato un mio punto di riferimento ogni volta che sarò a Genova.
Molto buono, davvero un ristorante da cinque stelle, camerieri eleganti e gentili e piatti deliziosi, da provare il filetto (si scioglie in bocca), un po' costoso, ma vista la qualità del cibo e del servizio a tavola direi che sono giusti

Sono stato per la prima volta dal ristorante Ippogrifo e ho avuto un’esperienza positiva. Il personale è molto gentile e ben disposto, in grado di mettere a proprio agio i propri clienti. Le materie prime sono di qualità e molto buone. Sicuramente ritornerò, consiglio a tutti!
Locale elegante e raffinato, il personale è capace e simpatico. Il cibo ordinato era veramente buono. La frittura di paranza, il risotto alla pescatora, le trenette con il pesto e anche i dolci. L'unico neo è il piatto di trenette che, in proporzioni al resto delle portate, era scarso. Il prezzo è medio alto ma ne vale la pena in quasi tutto. ( Il sorbetto 8€ no comment)
Il ristorante si presenta davvero in modo elegante ed accogliente. Il personale è super disponibile, gentile cordiale e super attento alle esigenze del cliente. Abbiamo trascorso una bella serata all'insegna del gusto e dell'eleganza. Il cibo è sublime oltre che perfettamente presentato. Consiglio a tutti di vivere questa esperienza di gusto per una serata speciale con il proprio partner e non solo. Innamorato degli spaghetti alle vongole che ho mangiato. Super consigliati.

Sensazionale esperienza culinaria. Un ristorante davvero TOP. Appena si entra capisci che sei nel posto giusto. Un locale che dove ogni cosa è al suo posto Un incontro in sala che ti mette subito a suo agio e un servizio impeccabile. Lo chef in cucina rende il nostro pranzo uno spettacolo di sapori preparati con chi conosce il proprio mestiere. Hanno reso il compleanno di mia suocera ancora più bello. Pranzo straordinario , servizio eccellente ! Materie prime di qualità, cotture da professionisti. Mi ha saputo stupire il riso al curry che ormai non sopportavo più a causa dello scarso livello della spezia in questione , scettica l'ho assaggiato : ottimo ! Non consiglio niente in particolare , andate sul sicuro , è tutto eccellente !
Locale molto carino ed in stile elegante, personale gentile e attento, servizio velocissimo nonostante ci fosse molta gente. Il pesce è freschissimo e davvero ottimo, i piatti hanno dosi giuste e sapori delicati e ben bilanciati.
Menù tradizionale eseguito a regola d arte! Il pesce è eccezionale,i lievitati da gustare, i piatti abbondanti e l ambiente è moderno ed elegante. Per me ,da xxMiglia a Genova, è il posto migliore dove andare a mangiare veramente bene!!
Ritornato dopo 2 anni con amici di Genova in questo elegante e stellato ristorante di pesce con un ottimo servizio e del personale molto attento e preparato e gentile verso gli ospiti ,con tavoli posizionati molto elegantemente in modo che non si possa interferire da un tavolo e gli altri mentre si parla. Ordinato un piatto di crudi con tonno scampi e gamberi rossi sgusciati devo dire di una freschezza che si sentiva il sapore del mare, essendo un degustatore di pesce girando per lavoro le coste Italiane preferendo la cucina a base di pesce essendo i miei piatti preferiti. Poi preso un primo delle tagliatelle Picagge con il classicopesto alla Genovese molto buone gustose e saporite avendo fatto scarpetta con il pesto rimasto. Ottima cantina di vini nazionali bevuto un classico vino Ligure. oggi il locale pieno di degustatori e amatori di piatti a base di pesce. Complimenti nel portare avanti la vostra professionalità con qualità di pesce pescato giornaliero nel vostro locale stellato.

Historical restaurant in Genoa, not on the sea side, but very elegant and specialized on fish and sea food that is really fresh and well cooked. Service also very good from all the staff. Don't miss the desert as well, very delicious! Parking free of charge available nearby on the street. Strongly suggested reservation. Restaurant is divided in two floor.

Dont let the grey building fool you, from the outside this place is not much, but inside you will be welcomed like a king and you will be served the best meal in Italy. I haven't eaten so good in a very long time. the main dish and also the the Dolce's / Desert was unbelievable, you feel the flavor in each bite. Thanks allot.

Flavorful, solid cooking and large portions. Nothing tasted bold/adventurous, but we didn't order extravagantly. They shouldn't serve such copious and delicious bread baskets! ;)

I have been coming here regularly for many years. It's the best restaurant in Genova by far. The consistent high quality of food and service over the years has been remarkable. The decor is very nice and tables are confortably large!!! When in season come for the Porcini mushrooms. If you are a truffle lover as I am, this is truffle paradise in Genova, obviously only when in season. Fish is excellent all year round. The two owners and all the staff are very friendly and excellent wine connoisseurs. It is a bit expensive, less than what you think and truly worth it. Buon appetito.

Pesce molto molto buono ma il tortino con tartufi semplicemente sublime. Personale di sala molto preparato e cordiale. Il locale ha uno stile un po' old style ma il tutto è ben curato e accogliente.
Sono stata recentemente nel ristorante ippogrifo per festeggiare l'anniversario insieme al mio fidanzato. Devo dire che è siamo rimasti soddisfatti! Il servizio è stato ottimo, con personale cordiale e attento alle esigenze dei clienti. Abbiamo ordinato due antipasti, due primi a base di pesce e per finire il dolce, tutti preparati con ingredienti freschi. I piatti erano presentati in modo elegante, appetitoso, e il sapore era ottimo. L'atmosfera del ristorante è accogliente e rilassante, con un'arredamento raffinato. Il rapporto qualità-prezzo è stato buono, considerando la qualità dei piatti e il servizio. Consiglio questo ristorante !
Cucina molto buona e che si distingue dalle altre, il personale è attento alle esigenze del cliente e molto cordiale. La location è arredata in modo carino, risulta un ambiente tranquillo e sereno, pulito e armonioso. Siamo stati a cena e abbiamo preso il tiepido di mare, uno spaghetto alle vongole veraci, un raviolo di ricciola con crostacei, una scaloppa di foisgras con capasanta e il sorbetto. Tutto buonissimo.
Visto da fuori, sembra una tabaccheria pure mal ridotta. All'interno si presenta invece come un ristorante molto "per bene", con una struttura e un personale di antiquata eleganza. Si ha la sensazione di essere sul set di "love boat". Mancava il seggiolone per bambini, evidentemente in ossequio ai tempi andati. Quelli in cui, però, si stava rilassati: comodi e senza fracasso. Si mangia piuttosto bene, e si paga in maniera proporzionata. Né da consigliare né da sconsigliare.
Ci sono andato qualche sera fa. Risotto al Curry molto buono (sono abituato a quello di Puny... Ma anche qui molto buono). L'antipasto misto caldo buono ma non mi ha colpito. Grande qualità del servizio. Ambiente di alto livello

I waited few days after my visit to make a honest and non-emotional conclusion about this place. Negatives: The cuisine is extremely basic. Absolutely nothing special about the food. You can literally find this kind of food in hundreds of other restaurants in Genova and it will be same taste but less expensive. Positives: The interior looks great, - old fashioned style. The service is also very good, - the stuff is friendly. Conclusion: Overpriced - the quality does not match quality at all. Lack of food presentation and the food is too basic. I will not come back there.
An utter disappointment. The interior design of this place is grand. The waiters are perfectly dressed. The food... bland. Had the Milanese and roasted potatoes. Came with oily, half frozen, french fries. The Milanese had the right consistency but zero taste. No one asked us how the food tasted. No opportunity to fix the situation.
