This is by far one of the best sushi experiences I have ever had. If you go you MUST ask for Jocelyn! She is amazing and fantastic. She recommended 3 different things which all were amazing. I have never had sake so she recommended a sample and it was really yummy. We will be forever customers for the food and regulars of Jocelyns!

The food is always good here but tonight the service from the bartender, Cari (spelling?) was outstanding. Everything was on time and she foresaw all of our needs. It was a great experience.

Chose this restaurant for my birthday dinner and it definitely didn’t disappoint! We had the kindest young waitress (blonde curly hair and can’t recall her name) who was very pleasant and was quick to bring out drinks and check in on us . I tried edamame for the first time ever and loved or! I also had their miso soup and was pleasantly surprised by the awesome flavor. Will definitely be coming back for another happy hour soon 🍸

The sushi is really fresh tasting and has good quality. I love getting the lettuce wraps for an appetizer and could probably serve 4 people if you are getting other food; if not get 2. I haven't tried other things on the menu besides sushi and a few appetizers. The crab rangoon are a bit flimsy, but really tasty. My favorite rolls are crunchy blue, south pacific for a refreshing bite between all the heavy rolls, so I can eat more delicious sushi. I also like to get the itchy salmon or seabass, but the salamon option is on the happy hour menu, so I usually get that instead. If you are craving sushi though I would highly recommend going during happy hour because you could cut your bill in third almost half.

This was a first time visit and Noel was my wife and my server. First of all the atmosphere is astonishing in the typical Orientals decor, with lighted side tables and sofas to sit or use traditional table and chairs. Huge selection of wine and beer. My wife ordered the Crunchy LA Nigeri sushi 🍣, which was amazing and I ordered grilled chicken breast with rice and orient type of salad. All was very good, the server was great and the atmosphere was astonishing. Highly recommend you give a try in the hay market area of Lincoln, NE.

Love the place, it has a very cozy feel to it, very welcoming. Service and servers are always amazing, very interactive and helpful. The food never dissapoints me or my friends. I have tried most of the menu items and always end up enjoying my meal. Recommend 100%

First time eating sushi and this was a great place to start. They have SO many options, and Brynn was PHENOMENAL!!!! She took the time to learn my preferences and made some amazing recommendations. I liked everything she suggested I try. I'm convinced she could recommend something for everyone's palette. She was very attentive and patient. The service was quick and sushi was delicious. I tried the itchy salmon, blue kani, mango crab rangoon, thriller, cali rolls, and Philadelphia rolls. The blue kani was my favorite and the crab rangoon was great too. Overall, I'll be back and hope to have Brynn again!

The best sushi spot in the Lincoln Hay Market. Good prices, great atmosphere and wonderful service. Indoor and outdoor seating. Popular place, especially on game days. Bar area or sushi bar is a great spot if looking for something other than a table. Shishito peppers, tuna tower are excellent. Nice twist on miso soup. Well worth a visit

Excellent sushi! Our server was a little forgetful, but it was very busy and we got there in the end! The place itself is a really nice space with a friendly and upbeat vibe. The rolls were outstanding and we had a great experience!

This is one of our favorite restaurants in Lincoln, and one of our favorite Sushi restaurants! If you're interested at all, don't miss this one! The food is awesome! There are so many good rolls that you really can't go wrong. Even since we've gone vegan, there's a bunch of really good things to choose from! -The chicken or tofu lettuce wraps are amazing and a great appetizer to share with friends. -For non-vegans: Hotel Cali, Super Asparagus, Tidal Wave, and Hot Popper are amazing! -For vegans: Bito Maki 2.0, Crunchy Cabbage, and Cowgirl are incredible! Also, try the sweet soy sauce as an alternative to eel sauce, it's really tasty with the rolls. The service is always fantastic. At our last visit, Jocelyn was so kind and helpful and even finished serving us as they were closing down. Thank you so much! The atmosphere is cool, and sitting on either the blue or red side gives a bit of a different experience. It's casual but fancy, and it looks great. This would be a great place to bring a date or friends. They have an amazing happy hour, so if you get the chance, it's always a good time to go if you want to spend a little less!

Our waitress Becki was the most outstanding human being! Food is always stellar, great spot down in Lincoln. But I can't say enough good things about Becki! Delightful conversation, great attentive service! Ask for her if you go, she won't disappoint!

I had a fantastic experience at Blue Sushi in Lincoln! The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented as always—but what really made this visit stand out was our server, Jocy. She was incredibly attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. She made great recommendations (we loved the Cloud 9 and checked in at just the right times without being overbearing. Her energy was so positive—it really elevated the whole experience. The atmosphere was lively but not too loud. Big shout-out to Jocy for making our meal extra memorable. We’ll definitely be back—and we’ll be asking for her again!

We had such an amazing experience at the Lincoln Blue today! It was all day happy hour and the sushi was phenomenal! The manager Mallory stopped by our table and was super friendly. Our server Kylie was also very attentive! Prices were great and we cannot wait to come back!!

Yellowtail Serrano is amazing! Nice spice and leaves your taste buds asking for more! Yum! Cherry Bomb was a nice delight but couldn't out compete the Yellowtail Serrano. Great Saki options too! Glad it caught my eye as a dinner option while checking in to a nearby hotel.

The manager took time to ask how the food was tasting and he right away could tell I wasn’t vibing with one of the rolls and kindly offered me a different one. That’s someone who gets keeping my business in the future. I will definitely be coming back with friends.

This place is so great! I love to come here with friends and family. Our server we usually get, Becky, is literally the best!! Such a hard worker and is always very sweet to everyone! Highly recommend coming here!

My friend and I had a reservation Tuesday night and sat out on the patio. Our experience was great as always! The manager Mallory stopped by our table to check on us and see how everything was, she was very sweet. Our server was very attentive and nice as well! The crab Rangoon’s are my favorite and the sauces are to die for! They told us to try the Japanese peppers next time! Cannot wait to come back! Sit out on the patio for a great view!

We had an amazing server, Mia H. This is the second time having her and she is amazing and has an amazing attitude. Happy hour at Blue is amazing as well, with a great food selection and pricing. As a college student this was an affordable place to eat.

I love this place. Not inexpensive, but you get what you pay for. The food is incredible and the service is great! The fantastic decor helps to elevate the dining experience to the next level. I always try to make it here when I'm in Lincoln.

One of my favorite spots to go to! The sushi is always amazing, the mango crab Rangoons never disappoint, and the service has always been to par. Great atmosphere and the happy hour menu makes this place even better. Reservations are a good idea but the food is worth the wait as a walk in. We did have to wait over 30 minutes for an after meal takeout because they lost the order.

Very large selection of food and it was all very tasty. We went on Sunday for their all-day happy hour and that really helped with the usually very pricy sushi. If you like sushi, this might be the top one in Lincoln. Only gripe was that our waitress seemed to forget about us quite frequently. We sat there for a solid 30 minutes after we were done eating. Asked multiple employees for a check and none of them were able to bring one or bring us our waitress. Unfortunately this made our visit end on a sour note, but we would go back.

Impressive vegan options! What Almost everything! I got the charred edamame from checking in with yelp! I also got the vegan tuna tower, and 2 rolls (Cowgirl and Unami maki). Very impresses by the vegan options, all the stars for vegan options! The charred edamame was overly salted and i felt I was eating straight up salt after a bit, I love the charred to it, though it gave me the burnt fingers... The tower and the rolls were really good, my only complain is that the rice was not that great. It was overcooked.. and also like a cake...Not sure how to describe it fully but it wasn't nice sushi rice. Environment Very nice environment with sushi bar seating on one side and a bar seating on the other side. There are also a number of regular seats available. Very nicely decorated. Niceness of the staff I went alone and sat at the sushi bar. The staff was very friendly, patient and attentive. I was able to use the Yelp check in for a free edamame! Dollar It was sushi dollar, which can easily add up. I guess I was hungry and my tower, and 2 rolls came up to $30 something. Yes? Def would be interested in trying other items...

Had a great time, they have good sushi. It was crowded there so it must be popular, they have a nice selection of rolls. I give it 4 cause I thought that the cleanliness could be a little better and the way the cooks handle the transition to the servers needs some improvement. But over all I would recommend.

Stopped in for lunch on a Saturday. Was excited to find out it was Happy Hour until 6pm. Good prices for food and drinks during HH - definitely a great way to try new (to me) items.

The atmosphere is really nice. We sat outside and the weather was perfect. The drinks were delicious. My favorite was Coconut Breezy. The Mango Crab Rangoon was really good.

The food tastes great, which is a plus. Don't know if it was because they were extremely busy when we visited, but the sushi rolls will fall apart when you pick them up. So it made it a little hard to eat. The waiting time for the food to come out was long, I will say over 30 mins. And they don't offer a military discount. All in all is a decent place to dine at.

Was visiting from out of town for business. Saw the raving reviews and decided to give it a try. Right off the bat, the host who greeted me sat me at this dark table for 2 jammed against the wall in front of the entrance. I really felt discriminated given that I'm not white or something. Sushi was mediocre at best (the key is to season the rice but it seems like people don't get that concept about sushi rice) but I can't complain. I was visiting from Southern California where you have the best sushi places. I give it 2 stars given that at least my server (I think it was Dylan?) was very kind to me and checked up on me routinely. I think it was also partly mistake on my side that I should've went with something Nebraska is more known for (steaks, corn??). It was just very close by my hotel so I decided to give it a try but I would never recommend this place to any of my colleagues who might visit Lincoln in the future.

I’ll be honest, we usually like blue but this last experience definitely didn’t have us itching to come back. My wife, 3 kids and I arrived to a restaurant with with about 1/2 of the tables empty on a Sunday at about 5:30. We were told we were going to have to wait 15 minutes for a table. We did indeed wait 15 minutes then were seated in a crowded back room—a brightly lit room unlike the rest of the restaurant. It looked like we were about to have breakfast at the holiday inn express. They brought all of our food, then after about 30 minutes they brought our kids three bento boxes. Food was okay, ambiance was meh in the back room, the kitchen on “this side” of the restaurant was slow and the waiter never filled my water—so service was meh as well.

Not impressed at all. Sat at the bar, bartender walks by me several times, never greeted. I finally had to ask to be served. Other people who ordered after me and received their food before me. My sushi was so poorly made and it kept falling out of the roll. The bartender didn’t even bother to follow up and ask me how it was, but asked the people right next to me.

If you are picking up for delivery, plan on waiting a long time. The appear not to care about you. There is also no parking and that you find you have to pay for. I’d give zero stars for delivery people.
