I was visiting Lisbon last week and had to try Maída when I was there. We loved the mediterranean touch and slightly spicy flavor that felt authentic and refreshing. Our favorite was the lasagna. It was a perfect combination of flavor and creaminess. The staff was very sweet and attentive and the vibe of the place was beautiful. I definitely recommend for locals or if you are visiting Lisbon.
Went for lunch after seeing the menu online and to avoid Time Out market. Short stroll to lots of food places and Maída dishes not disappoint. Service was kind and staff helpful, especially with cold water and ice to help recover from walking in the heat. Kids had schwarma and we ate the wraps. All delicious with great service.
Perfect Dinner for our family while visiting Lisboa happened to walk past this place. We ordered the Falafels (appetizer). Chicken (main) and Beef Shawarma(main) all cooked to perfection. Muhammara & Lebaneh dips were awesome. Overall a perfect dinner that we were looking for after a busy day of touristy activities.
Maida is amazing! The tabbouleh was fresh and full of flavor, the mousakhan rolls were rich and perfectly seasoned, and the Muhamara dip was smoky, nutty, and just a little spicy, absolutely delicious. Their cocktails are cheap but classy, and the 2-for-1 deal from 5–8 PM is a steal. Great vibes, friendly staff, and incredible food… can’t wait to come back!
Today I enjoyed every bite of the food. I got fatoush, kebab pistachio, and shish barak and they were like heaven. The staff were very friendly especially the lovely young lady. Highly recommended!
Outstanding!! Owners and Staff are the BEST. Kind, considerate, empathetic, funny and most authentic people ever. We will return as much as possible. Also greatest safest avenue to try new foods, Delicious and healthy. Your pallet will love all the new flavors and be ready for a new world of delicious foods. They have something for everyone.
Rua da Boavista, in Cais do Sodré, has just gained a new space that promises to become a favourite of many: Maida , a name that evokes feasting, sharing and celebrating at the table. With a vibrant proposal of Mediterranean cuisine with Lebanese roots, MaÍda combines warm hospitality and a passion for music in an environment designed to welcome you with open arms. . Born from the shared vision of two young Lebanese founders, Anna and Anthony, MaÍda was conceived as a space where the table promotes connection, communion and celebration. Anna, a designer with a keen sense of aesthetics, and Anthony, with extensive experience in business development, bring their passions for food and drink together in this creation. At MaÍda, they channel this combined experience and shared passion into a house where food, design and music coexist freely and abundantly. . Maída’s menu is essentially Mediterranean, with Lebanese roots and influences from Syria and Greece. It’s designed for sharing, for eating with your hands and your heart. . More than a restaurant, MaÍda is a meeting place. It opens for brunch, continues for relaxed lunches, fills up for dinner and turns into a spontaneous dance space at the end of the night. Music plays an essential role: every week, DJs from different styles and backgrounds bring MaÍda’s nights to life, maintaining the cosmopolitan and free spirit of the space.
Ended up here on a whim and so , so pleased I did! Came back the next day for more. Every dish I had was super fresh, flavourful, and balanced. It's a shame I don’t live in Lisbon, because if I did, I’d be more than a regular. The indoor space has a warm, relaxed vibe, staff are super sweet and attentive and the great music was a plus. Highly, highly recommended neighbourhood spot!
Just wonderful! Amazing staff, delicious food and extraordinary drinks, would highly recommend to come here, we’ve been here two days ago and needed to come back!
First time visiting the city. Food was amazing. Hayat”s hospitality was outstanding — she made us feel genuinely welcomed and valued from the moment we walked in. She was warm, approachable, and always ready with a friendly smile, which created such a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. It’s clear she goes above and beyond to ensure every guest feels cared for, making the entire dining experience feel like a special occasion. Truly exceptional hospitality! Highly recommended
Had a mix of starters and dip for two people. Every single item was absolutely delicious. One of my absolute top restaurant experiences in Lisbon, and there’s some tough competition.
The food here was super authentic - the owners are just such wonderful people. They also have a buy one get one happy hour, I believe the time is 6-8 for that. Highly suggest!
Ran across this place randomly while in Portugal recently and it was such a pleasant surprise. It was a slow time of day but they had an excellent happy hour and we sat and relaxed and got a few apps. One of my criteria for a good bar is the freshness of the beer and the pour and both were perfect. Also they have a two for one happy hour which is just so nice and lovely. We got falafel and haloumi and a spinach pie and they were lovely bites to go along with the beer. The staff was just so friendly and easy going and gave us some great advice on ramen in the area. If I lived in Lisbon this spot would be my local hang.
MAÍDA is a true gem. Every dish is a celebration of flavor, color, and craftsmanship. The cuisine is rich, refined, and beautifully balanced, with remarkable attention to detail. The Chef is incredibly creative and meticulous, blending Lebanese tradition with a modern touch. You can truly feel that she cooks from the heart, with passion and authenticity. We loved every single dish: the burnt feta, perfectly bold and creamy; the delicate shish bara; the crispy and aromatic mousakhan rolls; the flavorful muhammara; the fresh and vibrant tabbouleh; the shawarma made with high-quality, perfectly seasoned meat… and to finish on a sweet note, a delightful tiramisu and absolutely divine znoud el set. I didn’t even manage to take photos of all the dishes — they were simply too good and disappeared far too quickly! The service was impeccable — professional, attentive, and always delivered with a warm smile, which made the experience even more enjoyable. A must-visit address for Lebanese food lovers in Lisbon. We will definitely be back!
What a beautiful afternoon in Lisbon! If you are looking for a meal that feeds your soul as much as your appetite, look no further than Maída. I stopped by for lunch today and left feeling absolutely radiant. Here is why you need to visit: ✨ The Food: A Mediterranean Dream Every bite was a celebration of flavor! We shared a spread that was perfectly balanced and incredibly fresh: • Chicken Rolls (Musakhan): These were the absolute stars—perfectly seasoned and authentically delicious. • Fries: Golden, crispy, and the ultimate comfort food. • The Drinks: A refreshing Lemonade that tasted like sunshine and a smooth Cappuccino to round it all out. 🌟 The Heart of the House: Anderson The food was spectacular, but what truly made the experience life-affirming was the service. A huge, heartfelt thank you to Anderson. His hospitality is second to none! He greeted us with such genuine warmth and kindness that we felt like old friends rather than just customers. It is rare to find someone who radiates that much positive energy. Bottom line: If you’re near Rua da Boavista, do your heart a favor and stop by Maída. Great food, Lebanese soul, and the kind of atmosphere that reminds you how beautiful a simple lunch can be. 🌿🍋
A DJane set the scene perfectly, creating an inviting acoustic backdrop while the team ensured that drinks and food were delivered with truly bespoke service. The combination of sound, atmosphere, and attentive hospitality made the experience stand out. Definitely worth a return visit for anyone looking for a setting that feels both different and effortlessly sophisticated.
Excellente adresse !
We absolutely loved this place! Very welcoming and high quality Lebanese food. This was perfect for the two of us to share a few items on our way back after a long day of exploring Lisbon. If you are a visitor, stop in here!
What a fantastic find! From the moment we walked in, we were captivated by the beautiful decor and the incredibly welcoming atmosphere. The owners made us feel right at home! The menu is a delightful exploration of Mediterranean and Lebanese cuisine, with a wonderful selection of dishes perfect for sharing. Everything we tried was fresh, flavorful, and delicious. Do not leave without ordering their specialty Saj bread – it is a must-try! To top it all off, the cocktails were expertly crafted and the perfect complement to our meal. We will definitely be back!
A lovely new concept in the heart of Lisbon! Delicious Levantine/lebanese dishes and cocktails. Definitely give it a try whether you fancy a delicious Middle Eastern meal or you have never tried it before - either way you’re in for a treat!

We had a fantastic experience at the restaurant. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was welcoming. A special thank you to Anderson for his excellent service. He served us with great humor and made us laugh, which made our meal even more enjoyable. We’ll definitely be back!🥰
Went for dinner with some friends last night. All the dishes we ordered were delicious, fresh, and perfectly seasoned. The shawarma and muhammara in particular were excellent. Very kind and professional service, warm atmosphere.
Loved it here. The staff was very friendly. We arrived two minutes before 8 pm and the waiter mentioned that if we were quick we could still make the happy hour for drinks. And we were glad we did as the cocktails were amazing. The food was equally great. We both had Shawarma and I would definitely order the same again as it was so tasty. The rice pudding dessert was not that great though.
Amazing Lebanese food in Lisbon! Everything was incredibly fresh and full of flavor. The mezze were outstanding, especially the labneh, which was perfectly creamy, tangy, and absolutely delicious. The hummus and baba ghanoush were top-notch, and every dish tasted authentic and beautifully prepared. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the staff were friendly and attentive. If you’re craving authentic Lebanese cuisine in Lisbon, this place is a must-visit. Highly recommended
Vale a pena conhecer.
This restaurant genuinely changed our entire week long Portugal trip, and we found this on our last night here on a whim. The food was phenomenal, the best we’ve had in a while. This is the place!!! The cauliflower was a winter plate and it was the best dish I’ve ever had. We also started with the hummus and shish baraks which was a 10/10. The chicken entree was flavorful and perfectly cooked. Amazing happy hour deal as well. Could not be happier.

A comida?
Nice atmosphere, quiet place in front of the famous street .Feta Brûlée was great! My friend left disappointed with her kebab ,I found it’s okay, but not something I would order again. For 2 snack and 2 drinks we paid 25€,a bit overpriced for my experience

Lebanese restaurant with beautiful ambience. Very attentive and friendly service. Food was good but nothing groundbreaking. The shawarma was ok, quite easy to forget sadly.
I was very excited to find a Mediterranean restaurant in Lisbon but disappointed with the experience.. We had the hummus, muhammara, falafel bites, beef shawarma and lasagna. I'm not sure why lasagna was on the menu? The meat in the beef shawarma was tough, the tomato was unripe, the fries were over salted and the bread was similar to injera bread. Unfortunately, the falafel bites were uncooked in the middle BUT the muhammara and hummus were delicious. Our server was fantastic and I loved that they served cold bottled water in glass bottles (no charge) since we didn't order drinks. Also, the power kept going out but they did explain that they were working on that issue so I'm sure it will get fixed soon - it's apparently a relatively newly opened place. The atmosphere was lively and fun! There are two toilets in the back and a common sink to wash up.
Food was average, nothing memorable. The waiter was amazing, you could really tell he tried his best. Unfortunately, we did not feel welcome at all, since the owners were quite unfriendly. We were the only guests in the restaurant and they did not greet us once while passing by, almost as if we were invisible. In addition, we had to pay a 60€ deposit in advance to make the reservation. We were told that this amount would automatically be deducted from the final bill, but that did not happen. We first had to bring up the issue ourselves, and only after we proved that we had paid it was taken off. As mentioned we were the only reservation, so they surely knew we paid the deposit. If we had not said anything, they would have charged us the full amount.
The place is super nice, great care of details, high cleainess, quiet. The waitress soooo lovely and cute. The food itself is good but, it is not lebanese! The manakish made on the saj, it is just a tortilla wrap. It may even be done there but still, it is not manakish, which represent a really basic important dish of the lebanese cuisine. I believe that to be less pretentious would make gain this place, lebanese cuisine is unique and cannot be faked!

No geral, fiquei bastante desiludido.
