This is a wonderful place to eat. There was no wait for a table and food took less than 10 minutes, Cody was great always checking in on us! This is a very nice place and one of our favorite catfish places. They also offer boiled shrimp and chicken items, stuff for picky eaters too. Overall this is an amazing place and so nice to go to for a nice lunch or dinner.
Nice place, first time there and really enjoyed the food, and staff. I was greeted by a friendly manager Bree and she was so patient with an old man asking lots of questions about the menu. I tried the classic 3 piece catfish with okra so fresh I thought I was at my Grandmothers Sunday dinner table, and baked beans were delicious. My catfish was crispy and hot and I got my food fast. The manager even hand delivered my food to me. I haven’t seen that in a long time. I will be back when I’m in the area next time, and thank you Bree for making me feel at home.
Oh My goodness was Jalisia a jewel!! She went far and wide to care for my grievance. And she didn't cause it!! But as the manager of the restaurant, took ownership of the need to resolve the matter to make things beyond what was right, by me!! She was such a delightful, joy to deal with. And keeping her word, and doing more than she promised. Until, I almost felt guilty for sharing my valid concern!! And get this..she did it with a smile.☺️ She never spoke in a derogatory manner about her staff, but explained the innocence of how the error could have happened. Which helped me to have empathy for the staff. And see them like I see myself. As someone who makes unintentional errors. It actually was more of a beautiful experience vs a grievance. MANAGEMENT SKILLS: WHAT DYNAMIC FELLOW-FEELINGS, EFFECTIVE AND EFFICIENT COMMUNICATION, INDISTINGUISHABLE PROFESSIONAL, RELIABLE, DEPENDABLE, OVERALL GENUINE GENERAL KINDNESS, SKILLS. SHE BRINGS ALL OF THAT TO THE RESTAURANT, HER STAFF, HER, HIERARCHY, AND THUS DOWN TO THE CUSTOMERS!! AND CUSTOMERS KNOW, & CAN FEEL HER SINCERITY! I FEEL, SHE BY FAR EXCEEDED THE EXPECTATIONS OF HER EMPLOYER!!! WHY? BECAUSE, I BELIEVE, THAT ON THAT INTERVIEW WITH HER PRESENT EMPLOYER, EAT MY CATFISH, SHE MAY NOT HAVE TOLD THEM THAT THEY COULD EXPECT THIS ACTION-PACKED-BONUS TRAIT THAT SHE POSSESSES, AND WILL BRINGS TO THE RESTAURANT!! ☺️ AND I AM SURE OTHERS ARE GETTING A SAMPLE OF THIS TRAIT WHEN IN CONTACT WITH JALISIA!! Me and my husband come to EMC on Rodney Parham in Little Rock more than I probably should admit in a weeks time lol. But everytime we come, Cody helps up with whatever and does everything he can to make the restaurant run and operate. I’ve seen him during the busiest rush hour times and I’ve been here during their slow time (if there is even one) and he is absolutely amazing and gets everyone taken care of and never complains and ALWAYS has a smile on his face. He lends all hands on deck whether it’s in the kitchen, out on the floor, and just whatever needs to be done. He has a heart of gold and I absolutely love seeing his smile and dedication for this restaurant!
I recently visited Eat My Catfish and was thoroughly impressed. The service was prompt and friendly, and the food was delicious, especially the Catfish and Shrimp. I highly recommend this place for a cozy lunch or dinner. A special shout out to my girl (Kiara Lee) thank you. The Hopkins
It’s my niece’s 18th birthday!!! 🎉🦞 She decided crawfish was the only acceptable lunch today, so we pulled up on Rodney Parham and BABYYYY… it was the BEST. 😮💨🔥 I normally go to the NLR location, but thanks to Bri and Jalisia, Rodney Parham has officially won my heart over! 💛 Jalisia cooked those crawfish to absolute perfection!!so good that after the first round of 4 pounds, we had to order another! The seasoning was on point… spicy, flavorful, and worth every penny and made her birthday a fabulous experience! 😍👏🏽✨
We always have a good experience here. The food is great and the service is wonderful. It’s also a great option for families. They always have crayons and coloring sheets and there is a chalk board wall in the back room. Our server at our most recent visit, Tyra, was awesome. She noticed our son sleeping and brought everything we would need to take his food to go without us even having to ask.
We were driving through Little Rock, (my first trip) trying to decide what to have for an early dinner & while we were looking for a Chinese restaurant on Google, I saw Eat My Catfish, online, we talked briefly about it, but, set our GPS to the Chinese restaurant I found. At the stop light, I saw Eat My Catfish, & said, "Oh, there's that catfish place, & instead of turning left, my husband turned right & wheeled into their parking lot!!! Cut to the chase...the Lord brought us there for a reason, and it was the perfect meal, so delicious, just the right spice, just the right amount of food, just the right amount sugar in the sweet tea, the cleanest venue, the cleanest restrooms, the coolest framed photos on the wall, the nicest staff, but, best of all is their story & how they arrived in Little Rock, plus, the other restaurants they own!!! My husband had the 3-piece real catfish, with baked beans & fries...he loved everything!!! I had the fried shrimp & two piece catfish, with Cajun rice, & corn on the cob...I loved everything!!! We hope to buy real Estate in the area so we will be back, for sure, Lord willing!!! Get yourself there, ASAP!!!
My family and I have dined here several times and the staff are always friendly and helpful. The food is great! Cody never slows down. He is very attentive to the customers, friendly and seems to get along with the staff well. I recommend this location to everyone I know.
This was the very first place we stopped to eat on our anniversary trip, and it set the bar high! Everyone was so friendly and welcoming, but Cody especially went above and beyond. When he found out we were celebrating our anniversary, he congratulated us several times and surprised us with a fried pie each to enjoy. It was such a thoughtful touch that made our meal feel extra special. The food was amazing, the service was outstanding, and Cody truly made our experience one to remember. Absolutely incredible experience! My wife Candice and I stopped by Eat My Catfish while visiting Arkansas for our anniversary, and it ended up being one of the highlights of our trip. Some of the best catfish I’ve ever had and great sides! Cody went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. True southern hospitality at its finest!
I was surprised by how good the food is here. Having grown up in Louisiana, I can get a little snobby about what seafood I eat. This place exceeded my expectations. Flavorful. Efficient. Good variety of menu options with southern charm. Also, the staff notably takes pride in the restaurant, which is increasingly rare. Overall, it's a great quick bite!
Eat my catfish is a good place to go and eat some good old catfish. The service as well as the food is number 1. Cody is a nice server who works in the little rock location and he does an excellent job at what he does. So stop by eat my catfish and I strongly believe that you won't be disappointed.

EMC is always very good. About the only place you can get good crab legs. I’m not a fan on endless country music but that’s the only thing I wasn’t crazy about. But all their food is good.
Eat My Catfish Restaurant had some hot, fresh, and tasty food. We tried fried catfish, blackened catfish, fried and blackened shrimp, chicken strips, tomato relish, cajun rice, and hush puppies. All the food was delicious. We also tried the fried apple pie, and it was ok. I definitely suggest this restaurant, and I will be back to try more. Everything was pleasantly delicious and worth the visit. Give them a try!
My uncle told me his favorite restaurant was " Eat My CatFish " so I naturally want to check it out. After eating there, it is clear why he likes this place so much. The service is good, and they got our food out to us very quickly. The Blacken CatFish with the Dirty Rice really but a smile on my face.

We are frequent visitors at EMC. The food is great. A few weeks ago we came in and my husband was worried about getting bad news about some lab work. We shared how he was feeling with our server Cody. He was so positive and encouraging to my husband. We couldn't wait to share the great news with Cody, everything was negative !! We are a big fan of Cody,he's a keeper😃
First time here and had an overall decent experience. Cashier was super friendly and helpful during my order. The food took about 35 min to come to my table which was a bit long for one piece of catfish and 6 shrimp. Their prices are fair. The restaurant is very large and has a lot of seating. The food was definitely average and nothing special. I was told the catfish was large but I’d say it was a md size piece. I also have the fried pie and it was great. If I was in the area and had time to spare, I’d stop by again.

Our host, Cody, took good care of us as we ordered. He was calm, patient, and polite. I had a Blackened Shrimp Po' boy and my husband had a Catfish Po' boy, with a side of Cajun Rice and Mac'n Cheese. Shrimp has a good flavor, the catfish was crispy. Heads up, both sandwiches are with coleslaw and a sauce, instead of the typical lettuce, tomato, pickle, and mayo. Personally, I wouldn't recommend it. Too many flavors were fighting for attention. The Cajin Rice was fine, but the Mac'n Cheese was watered down, so another no on my end. Overall, I may skip another visit.
Eat My Catfish has been on my list of restaurants to try since Ive been working in the Little Rock area. My first impression upon entering was lack luster. The service was just ok however the well-seasoned fried delights made up for it. If you are not in a rush and are in the area, I recommend stopping by but be prepared for a a wait and do note that they were not busy during my visit. Oh...the blackened catfish was amazing (small pieces)!
This is a good place for fried seafood; the best part of our meal was the fried shrimp. It was wonderfully seasoned. We decided to eat outside; it was quite pleasant. The team member that brought our food to the table was very courteous and accommodating. However, on the inside the environment was not too inviting. The signage was confusing on where to order. The floor felt sticky underfoot thus factoring heavily into us eating outside. The tidiness of the dining area is reflective of management/owners and not the team members.
I ordered the 2 piece catfish with 2 regular sides and a beer ( all they offer are bottles). I had high expectations as I had gone to the original location many times when they first opened. The person taking orders did not bother to point to the beer case. When you walk in you’re directed to the counter to place your order. The beer case is behind you. A soft drink is the same price as a beer. The hush puppies were lacking of flavor and very doughy. I ate 1 piece of fish, highly disappointed, the fish was very mealy. This was my first visit at this location and it will be my last.
I ordered a 4-piece blackened catfish dinner with baked beans and okra. When I arrived to pick it up, I noticed there were only 3 pieces, and one of them was so small that I wouldn't have considered it a full piece. I brought this to the attention of the person at the register, who informed me that they don’t actually offer a 4-piece dinner. I explained that I wasn’t informed of this when I placed my order. I was then told the price for an additional piece and that it would be brought out to me. However, after waiting for 10 minutes, I still hadn’t received it, and there were no apologies for the inconvenience.

Now, I am a New Orleans native who started patronizing your business back in 2021 because you all are one of the handful of establishments in the area that serve traditional style Louisiana boiled crawfish. Today I ordered the Minnow Bucket with extra potatoes, corn, and sausage for a subtotal of $37.64 via UberEats. I checked my order, of course I was missing the extra potatoes and corn; received credit from UberEats for that. The reason why this is getting a 1 star is because the food was salty, too damn salty. You need to get a QA agent just for the crawfish, this stuff was enough to get someone sick. Also, please make sure the cooks understand what "fork tender" potatoes are supposed to be, the potato I received was undercooked.
