I ordered the OG Chicken sandwich and it was a grand slam! I am partial to the Chick-fil-A sandwich, but Waldo’s was 100x better! The bun was so fresh and the chicken was juicy, crispy, and absolute perfection! I do not like pickles and forgot to ask for them off the sandwich, but am I glad that I forgot! The pickles were amazing, not too sour or acidic (which is why I don’t like pickles). They added the perfect extra crunch and flavor and complimented the fried chicken so well. The fries were absolutely delicious as well as their original sauce (I don’t remember the name of the sauce). The sweet tea was super sweet, just the way I like it. 10/10 would recommend to everyone visiting the Little Rock area!

Looking for a place that isn't that expensive for a quick bite to eat? A great atmosphere right off the Interstate? Waldo's Chicken and Beer is a good place to go. Close by our hotel and we gave it a try. Waldo's have the atmosphere of a dive bar and a casual resturant. I can tell that this place would be amazing during sporting events with all the flat screens circling the bar. The selection of ale and spirits are standard but their is variety. The Chicken was so juicy and tender. Seasoned very well. The Fries were shoestring homemade and great. A tad salt heavy but overall good. The slaw was okay, I'm not a fan of Slaw. Overall, would we go here again? Yes for a quick bite to eat with a pint of your favorite draft beer. It is right off the highway and close by the lodging, entertainment, and shopping centers nearby.

A delicious experience, very well flavored and fried chicken. You hardly need the complimentary sauces to enjoy the various chicken options, but I found the honey mustard to pair very well with their seasoning blend. I would recommend the 1/4 fried chicken plate and their potato wedges, and try their banana pudding too! The best restaurant banana pudding I think I've had! And when the weather is nice bring your favorite dog to enjoy on their uncovered patio around back as well!

This was good eatun. The wings were cooked right. the fries were seasoned and crispy. The onion rings were huges and cooked to a golden crispy brown. The sauce with the onion rings was sweet and spicy at the same time. My wife enjoyed her nachos. I will advise though get the regular like she did. The large can feed at least 4-5 people. The regular can feed 2. She couldn't eat it all. I had buffalo and lemon pepper wings and man they were 🔥. The sauces were delicious and the wings were cooked to the bone. I've never been disappointed at this place. Give it a try and let me know what you think. Oh yeah one more thing good cole slaw.

Delicious! We could've hurt ourselves on the collard greens alone. Clean, the staff was very nice & we can't wait to eat there again while in the area. It's a crying shame they're not in Texas.

Food was very good i had the white beans and the cheddar biscuits….. delicious. Also had the Mac and cheese very creamy tastes like a honestly verison (season to your own taste) one of my kids had the chicken sandwich it was good but cold hence why it is getting a 4 star…. Bbq is not tasty but it maybe for someone else…. Honey butter that came with the biscuits fire as well i definitely stop thru here again if I’m in Little Rock…. Good alternative to eating when you’re traveling then having a burger and fry…. Prices are great

Positives first. Nachos were phenomenal. Got them with rotisserie chicken and they were delicious. Chicken strips were good and the spicy sandwich was great even though it looked like it had been smashed into oblivion for no reason. Maybe it's supposed be flattened? Things to work on: the potato wedges taste fine but I got like 4 which is fine I guess but it makes the overall plating look skimpy. The mac and cheese was bad. The cheese was overcooked and not smooth at all. Also lacked any flavor. Similar to cafeteria mac and cheese. Atmosphere was not bad and the staff was friendly and quick. They just need to get the sides up to snuff. I'd go back and get the nachos again for sure. I wouldn't mind trying a salad or some of their chicken on the bone. UPDATE 9-20-24 I've been back a couple of times since my first time. Mac and cheese is still godawful. Do not get it. At this point they have to TRY and make it taste as bad as they do. Also don't even think about ordering something without 1 item or adding an item. (No I don't do complicated orders but something like no pickles should be easy). They're going to ignore it and put it on there. So just get ready to pick off whatever it is or go without if you added something. Their cheese dip is good but the chips that come with it taste like they were fried in old grease. The chicken is fine. Is it better than a fast food chain? No. But this place has beer and a happy hour so if you want to drink alcohol while you eat run of the mill chicken this is it. The ONLY reason I don't take the rating lower is that they do have good cheese dip and nachos. Also the little biscuits are good. Chicken is ok, sides are horrific.

I had the pulled chicken sandwich with the Alabama white sauce and it was delicious. The bun was nicely toasted and held together well. My side was coleslaw which was a vinegar base with a hint of sweetness. My wife had a salad with pulled chicken with buffalo sauce and ranch. She said it was pretty good. So then you might wonder why I gave it a 3 rating overall rather than maybe a 4 or even a 5? I did rate the food a 5 because it was tasty. My issue was the cost. I get it that inflation is out of control but the sandwich size was not huge and my side was just slaw. And my wife’s salad at $15.61 was about $3 more than any other similar salad for instance at Newk’s. So my mid rating was due to the cost of food or the value. Oh and the wallpaper was cool in the bathroom.

I'm never happy leaving bad reviews, but we had a really bad experience at Waldo's last night. I'll start with the good. The staff was nice and friendly. The cheese biscuit and the sides I had were very tasty (mac and cheese and white beans). The bad - the chicken was terrible. I ordered the 1/2 chicken, and not only were the pieces tiny. It was very overcooked and dry. It's hard to mess up dark meat, but they did. The breast was almost jerky. I told the kid at the register, and he very apologetically agreed it was bad, and they gave me 2 fresh pieces, which were just as overcooked. Management needs to do some qc and adjust cooking guidelines. I'm sure they have the fryers set for much larger pieces, so the staff should adjust accordingly. The piece that I'm holding in the picture is a leg! It's slightly bigger than my finger. I also put it next to the biscuit and fork for size reference. It looks like a wing drumlet. The other is the rather small and overcooked breast.

I wish I would've checked my food before getting back on the interstate. A REFUND would be great! The chicken was over fried, hard, old and greasy. The biscuits were nasty. How do you mess up chicken?!? Id recently visited the Nashville location, and was hoping for the same experience, but NOPE. I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND OR RETURN! This was an online order pick up at drive through!

Well let me start by saying this is our first time to eat Waldo’s and it will be our last. We stopped by this location on our way home we needed food for 4 adults. So we check the app and we decided to get the get the feed the flock which was supposed to feed 4 people. Well the app would not allow us to place an order and pick up the same day ok No big deal we will just use the drive-thru. So I the guy asked what we wanted (and I read our order exactly from their app)Then he asked what 2 sauces so do I get 2 because the app says 4 . He said ok sure what other 2 so I told him I said I wanted to go ahead and include the pint of banana pudding for $12 and the side dish of tomato and cucumber. He said I can not hear you I said I'm sorry I am all but yelling sir so then he was completely silent. For a couple of minutes so I said hello are you there? He was so rude and said YES! I'm trying to figure out your banana pudding I said I'm sorry you don't have to be rude sir he said $60 something drive around well that was like $6 more than what the online order was so when I got to the window I asked the guy at the window (and it was a different guy not the one on the speaker) why is it $6 more than my total on the app? He said let me see so the he came back with the total and it was like 60 cents more than what I was s I said so I just said sure that's fine close enough. He was rushing and rude and said well we had to come up with something in order for you to get your pudding. Which. I did not understand because it was offer with the Feed the Flock meal. But ok he said now pull up there and some one will bring it out as soon as its ready so we did and we wait for few minutes so finally a guy comes out with a brown bag and trys to stick it in my face and I said lets put it in the very back. He sits it in there and walks away. I had a sinking feeling that I should park and check the bag well glad I did because there was no chicken in there. So I pulled back around through the drive-through go to the speaker and ask to get the chicken that they left out. He said pull up and Park ma’am so I did. finally the same guy comes back out with a Styrofoam container of chicken. I said thank you. He apologizes. I get home, we begin, unloading the contents and chicken look good potato logs looked horrible, greasy and broken. The macaroni and cheese was cold and this banana pudding that $12 and caused such a catastrophe was half a pint and this was supposed to feed a family of four upon thinking about it all the containers were half a pint and we’re supposed to be larges. There is no way that could be a family of four plan on calling and speaking to a manager, but I didn’t want to do it tonight and run the risk of speaking to the three guys I had to deal with If this is how the order was supposed to be was ridiculous almost $60 for that. See the pictures below. very disappointed to say the least I feel like I wasted money $12 for the banana pudding totally blows my mind and it wasn’t that great way too sweet also as you can see, they did not include a receipt with the the itemized total on it only the order receipt but it was $55.81 very much not worth it. I cannot say that enough and when you factor in the service stay as far away as you can.
