This is one of the best Indian authentic restaurants in the Bay Area – definitely a must-try!

I’m visiting from New York and was looking for a good biryani, and one of my friend recommended this place. My experience was absolutely amazing. Great taste and quality.

Biryaniz is our family's favorite and go-to place for Indian food! My kids absolutely love their Special Chicken Biryani, and we really enjoyed the Vijayawada Chicken Biryani--full of flavor and perfectly spiced. The butter chicken is truly to die for. Starters like Mutton Ghee Roast, Srikanya Chicken Fry, and Chicken 65 really stand out with great taste and generous portions. It's a fantastic place for both family dining and takeout, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. We've also catered from here many times, and every variety has been a hit. Consistently great food and service--highly recommend Biryaniz!

The Vijayawada Chicken Biriyani was one of the best take-out dinners I've had in Livermore. I got three meals out of my one take-out order - a ridiculous deal! I'll definitely be going back.

Customer service and food 5/5. We ordered food for our event at home. Everything was delivered in a hot case, making it very easy to serve time to time, appetizers and main course. They forgot to load the tray of the main dish of chicken curry and we realized it around 10pm. We called them to inform them and next thing we know they were at our door with the whole tray despite dense fog. We are in Tracy and they are in Livermore. Guests were in awe of the food. Pavan was the person who made it possible along with owners. Recommend them to anyone looking for good food for their events.

This is a hole in the wall but damn, the food is tasty and great quality! I had the lamb curry with basmati rice and a buttered naan. So good! I’ll be back to try the other items on the menu.

Delicious Andhra food. Menu had many varieties of biryanis. Quatity was huge and more for one person. Service was fast, and they served in a take-away box, so it was easy to takeout left over. Staff are very friendly.

We recently did a food order for diwali at a local school for staff. Food was good and liked by all the staff members. Only downside was little delay in delivery which could have been avoided with proper planning. Hope the management will work on it. The staff is nice and courteous and most importantly the food is good. Everything was gone and very much liked and apprecaited!!

I ordered to go food items today with Veggie Biryani and excitedly ordered Andhra Dal seeing it in the menu. The food made me think if really this is Andhra Dal or just boiled dal and they forgot to mix anything else in it including salt. After coming home, when I tasted it was the most horrible bland dal which even a sick person wouldn't eat. I had to add and recook it with basic spices and salt to make it palatable. Please see the pics attached of before and after dal. I was wondering what's the point of getting dal and paying for it if I have to work on it at home. Biryani was ok with overpowering garam masala. I don't think after taking dal from this restaurant I will even try dal in coming times. Service was just pick up and ambiance was ok. The two stars are just because of Biryani.

I’m a big fan of Biryaniz and after moving to San Joaquin county, I missed late night Biryani a lot. When I saw Biryaniz shop in Livermore, I got excited and tried immediately. I went for dine-in. Usually they’ll provide ceramic plates in any restaurant for dine-in. Here they gave a plastic plate and Biryani came in plastic to go box, even though i’m literally present in the restaurant, hot biryani served in plastic box. I could able to lift the box and serve using plastic spoon since it was very hot. Second concern was taste, it was really bad. The Vijayawada chicken dum biryani doesn’t have any salt, spices. It was really blunt. By all seeing this I don’t think this is authentic Biryaniz shop which is present in Bay Area. I also think the five stars reviews should be fake ones put up by the restaurant owners friends and family

I received a half cooked tandoori leg, goat curry was also terrible. This place used to be very good, Not sure what happened. Very disappointed. The guy who answered the phone, did offer tandoori leg on house on the next order however I won’t be going there anymore.

The paneer butter masala was the worst I’ve ever had. We couldn’t eat more than a spoon or two, taste was bad. I had to throw it away, it was that terrible. I ended up with a stomach ache afterward. Upon that it had added food coloring, why?

Wild this place is rated this high. Dismal service, and almost everything on the menu we ordered was “not available”. This seems to be a running theme as we have visited and gave this place a chance several months a part a few times. No idea how this place is in business. If you want Indian food, there’s plenty of other choices and forget about dining in. Sure they have seating but this is absolutely a takeout place, do not expect a ‘restaurant’ experience, this is counter service. The cherry on top, one of the grossest restrooms I’ve seen. SMH
