Family run hotel very close to the ski slopes. Small rooms but very clean when we arrived. The staff is super friendly and know how to take care of the guests. Big shout to Najib the waiter, Sylvia who was exceptionally kind, friendly and caring and to the receptionist Miranda who was very professional. They all made that stay very special. Thanks guys!!! However, check your hotel bill before you leave as they might charge you for things you already paid (that has nothing to do with the beautiful service we received there, had to be mentionned). Will definitely come back!

Nice hotel, close to a skislopes. Not the largest rooms. Simple spa area with 2 saunas, no pool or bubblebath. Clean rooms. Lots of shops and reaturants around.

From a 4 stars holtel I was expecting a better service and better facilities. In our room it was pretty cold, no bathrobe for the spa and no bottle of water as it was mentioned in the booking. The staff is helpful, they provided us what was missing. The great thing is its position right in the center. It is located near various restaurants and shops and it has a nice view on the ski slopes.

I don't generally like to give low score for a review. I was there with 6 friends last summer for mountain bike. The hotel itself is very nice and with a good food (and that is why I give 2 stars and not 1). Anyway it is in a pedestrian area and to enter they need to register your car plate. They made a mistake in the car registration and we got a fine + administration fees (car was rented). They just suggested us to contest the fine to the Livigno municipal. Since fine was not that big and getting involved with the Italian bureaucracy is not the best adventure (especially on Christmas), we just suggested to pay the bill and get the refund not to waste our time on this. Now, everyone make mistakes, but when I see they just wash their hands, asking me to spend my time and energy to fix it, I get pissed. That is simply not fair. From a 4 star facility I would have expected them to take responsibility for their mistake. The only thing we got was the offer to pay the 16 euros price for sending the documentation to the Italian town to contest the fine Not even to refund the administration fees from the car rental company (which we had to pay no matter what). Long story short, they mess it up with the plate, creating a problem for us and the only support we got was an email with the procedure to send the documents by post. Thanks Hotel Posta Team. Ps. I don't think was even a good business strategy, since you lost 7 customer in just one shot.

We’ve been going to Livigno on vacation for almost 40 years, mostly in winter, this time at the end of summer, we have been to three-star hotels and even simple Garni and it had never happened to us not to have heat and hot water in our room for one and a half days. It has also never happened before that at 9:45 pm, while playing cards next to the bar, they would switch off the lights (Francisca) and tell us “sorry, we have to close”. The following night, just to make sure they wouldn’t have the same issue, at 10 pm the bar area was already closed. I had asked the first day to arrange a little surprise with some decorations and a cake for my parents anniversary at breakfast the day before last of our stay. In the morning, at our table, there was no decoration or anything. The manager from the kitchen was nice, she apologized as she had been away, and had them make a small cake for us on the spot. The gym was also out of service as the main workout machine was broken and the bikes that are available for customers were very basics and some of them needed maintenance. The owner didn’t even apologized or tried to make up for all the issues we had. The hotel is in a great location, has good breakfast, and especially chef Nowes is great. The cleaning ladies on the floor were also very nice. Other than that I do not recommend Hotel Posta. Livigno is beautiful and deserves to be enjoyed at a better hotel. Posta is certainly not worth four stars.

Not a 4 star hotel. Small rooms. Breakfast not ready at 7:30. Check your final bill as they forgot to substract our reservation fees of 400€. Sauna should be ready for 15:00. As we had 2 days with not so quiet good weather i wanted to profit from the sauna at 16:00. It was simply not on....please use a timer...Also very old sauna. Food more quantity then quality. Bar ok. Beverage prices ok.

My stay at this hotel was extremely disappointing. At the time of booking, I was clearly given one price, but upon check-out I was charged a completely different, higher amount. The explanation provided was that the original price was supposedly for only one night and one room, not for two nights as agreed, which is completely unacceptable and misleading. Even worse, instead of handling the matter professionally, the staff member who attended us reacted in an unprofessional and inappropriate manner – shouting, losing composure, and behaving rudely rather than attempting to resolve the situation. Such behavior is unacceptable in the hospitality industry. I strongly advise against booking this hotel.

I cant recommend this hotel, because servis doesnt respond as a 4 stars hotel, specially fat girl from reception, without good behavior. and fat waiter man, from restaurant, for us it was last experience with this hotel Posta Livigno, never more. We had half board and food it was very good.
