A quaint spot outside the city near Texcoco with good value for money. The dishes are varied and plentiful, and the restaurant is surrounded by birds like cockatiels, roosters, parakeets, peacocks, and iguanas. The only thing that could be improved is the speed and quality of the service. The homemade bread is delicious.

I went on a Tuesday around noon and only waited 5 minutes. I recommend requesting a table in the garden or palapas if you want to be in close contact with the birds. If you're bothered by them standing on your tables, it's best to request a table in the booths. I loved the experience of having breakfast next to the parakeets that came to the table; their singing is also very beautiful and creates a pleasant atmosphere. Be careful where you step so you don't hurt the chickens that walk among the tables. The food was delicious, with good portions for the price. I don't recall seeing vegetarian options on the menu. What I didn't like was that the waiters took a long time to arrive at the table.

Of the two times I've been, the service has been excellent, the food excellent, the omelets delicious, the chilaquiles with molletes very good... the dishes are not expensive and are very generous... the bread excellent... no one pressures you and that's great, like other places where they want you to leave, here it's not like that at all. They give you your time. After paying, you can go feed the birds; you can ask the kids who serve you for food. They have parking, and if it's full, you can leave it on nearby streets or avenues.

You may have to wait for a table during busy times; reservations are recommended to avoid waiting. The freshly baked bread is a must in the mornings; all the options are good, but I recommend the blueberry roll. The portions are large, so if you want to try different dishes, you'll have enough to share. The food is freshly prepared, but there's still not much waiting time for your order to arrive. The ambiance of the place is primarily provided by the birds found outside; they can be fed with grains that the restaurant staff will provide upon request. A mural features the birds' names, and most of them have a story. In addition to the birds, the exterior features several bodies of water where you can find animals such as fish, turtles, and aquatic plants. If the weather doesn't allow it or you prefer, the interior also has fish tanks with marine flora and fauna, in addition to sculptures and paintings made by the creator of this space. As for the facilities, the space is well laid out, the seats are not uncomfortable, the tables have plenty of space, and it's well lit. The bar is open so you can watch your drink being prepared. The bathrooms are clean, have toilet paper, soap, and water, and are accessible for people with limited mobility. The staff is attentive and they also offer dish recommendations if it's your first time at the restaurant. The price is affordable considering the portions offered.
