Opinions de The Pan Lomita
This place is amazing! Our server Joan is the best. So nice and super attentive. Definitely a favorite spot for us.
First time coming to the PAN.....food was amazing, definitely coming again....I wish I would have taken a picture but we ate all of our food before we thought of it.
We are regulars and always love the food and service. Carly, Megan, Leslie and Joan are wonderful staff !
Joan was amazing and the food is delicious. If you’re going to have breakfast at one place in the South Bay it’s this!
fresh and full of flavor. The staff was super friendly, and the atmosphere was relaxing and clean. Definitely recommend!
Pancakes bigger than the plate and actually fluffy. The chilaquiles are a sleeper hit—crispy chips, not soggy. Service is cheerful and fast. They keep the coffee flowing without hovering. Come hungry or plan to share
Joan was very helpful and patient with the bad kids we had with us. 5 star across the board for The Pan on PCH!
Amazing food and service! Our waitress Karlie was excellent.Great stop for breakfast or lunch.
Wanna say might be a little pricey for a whole plate buuuuut was really good. Pancakes round 15...the meal $20. I ended up with the lumberjack n man those pancakes are legit! Good size portions too. Family environment with a decent size parking lot. Check it out. Oh and their Carmel latte was bomb too
We always have a good time every time we dine or take out food from here. Our server is usually Karlie every time and she is the best. Always cheerful, great attitude, attention to detail and overall just the best person to take care of all your needs. Nothing but the best from her and we are always happy to see her.
This was an amazing meal, but it wouldn’t have been as wonderful if it wasn’t for our server Karlie she is a woman wearing 10 hats. She’s doing it all. She’s doing it with a smile and she’s getting it all right she’s an amazing human. We love her. She needs a raise. You don’t pay her enough. She’s amazing. Amy
Had a wonderful meal this morning at The Pan. The food and mimosas were exceptional. Karlie was great and made some wonderful recommendations. Will definitely be back!
Delci,Megan,Karlie,Joan, crew is very warm and welcoming. Love to be in their company. Warms the establishment to a home environment. The establishment is over an A rating. Keep the good work up. See you next Thursday.
We used to get breakfast at Hof's Hut, but decided to look elsewhere due to the declining food and horrible service. Enter, The Pan. We've been coming here for over a year now and have never been disappointed!! The food is delicious, the people that work there are (mostly) all super friendly, and attentive. They're happy to accommodate my crazy requests for changes to my breakfast, and they have mimosas!! We love the quirky interior, and I'm definitely going to be stopping by for lunch one day soon to try it out!
My friends and I went for dinner. We met up at 5:00 on a Thursday night and got right in. The food is Excellent!!!!! The restaurant is decorated really cute too! I personally got the barbecue chicken salad with ranch dressing and it was Soooo good! I will definitely go back again and I’d like to order breakfast!!!!! Yummy!!!
There’s a new server her name is Joan She was great very nice and very attentive to not just us but everyone, she went around checking on all tables refilling coffee seeing what we needed, what a great addition!
Everything was delicious. I’ll definitely order the hash browns again next time. By chance, a friend’s acquaintance was our server, and she provided very professional service. Not only her, but the other staff members were also very attentive. I’ll definitely come back again. Thank you!
Karlie, our waitress, was fabulous. She even let us know we can buy one single pancake option for $5 each if we want to try different flavors. The food here never disappoints! We got the lemon pancakes and the loaded mashed potatoes. Sometimes it can take awhile to get your food if it’s busy.
I love coming here with my family and enjoy the food, time and good energy the employees have given to me and my family. It’s a nice tidy place and we enjoy being able to have a great service. The host was very helpful and friendly when it came to greeting us to the table and helping us with our drinks. The sign she made was beautiful artwork!
A favorite breakfast/brunch spot off CA-1. Pancakes, omelettes... Can't really go wrong. It can get very busy on weekends, so plan accordingly. Parking lot is a little small towards the back and is shared with other businesses. There are street parking options. Food pricing is kind of what you could expect nowadays, but portions are good.
If you're looking for a unique breakfast or lunch option, this is it. The breakfast menu is full of flavor and high quality, unique options. The shrimp and grits were delicious , short rib eggs Benedict is an absolute must try and the unique pancake options are far and above anything you can get in the area. Spacious indoor dining available, full bar with seating just inside the front door. Small parking lot located in rear at the main entrance. Don't be thrown off by the area, this place classes the neighborhood up.
First visit and we were not disappointed! Really good selection for breakfast (which is served all day)....especially the different types of pancakes you can get. Everything was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. Food was really good and our only disappointment was that we were too full to try more items from the menu. There's a nice dine-in area and additional outdoor seating in the parking lot under a canopy. There's pretty decent parking in the lot behind the restaurant (which is accessible from the side street). We will be back many times!
Food Order: CHLOE'S BLUEBERRY PANCAKES (3 buttermilk pancakes, blueberry puree, lemon-vanilla butter, powered sugar) CRISPY CHICKEN CLUB SANDWICH (bacon, lettuce, tomato, red onion, avocado, cilantro jalapeño aioli, croissant) Service/Vibe: service is a bit iffy, host/ess stand is infrequently vacant/this location tends to be loud (due to the high ceilings?). Parking: private lot behind the restaurant. Restrooms: located opposite of the bar (yes, there's a bar at the Lomita site), clean & well-stocked. It's so nice having The Pan in Lomita because Gardena is smaller & often jammed packed; however, this location only serves breakfast & lunch. This new location is larger, more spacious, & brighter. The Pan is one of my fav restaurants because who doesn't love breakfast being served all day, & their pancakes are out of this world yummylicious! Our 1st attempt was slightly after they opened to celebrate my son's birthday dinner in October 2019; however, there was an electrical issue & several businesses were closed. :-( We went back on CNY (01/25/20) for a late lunch... Rodolfo, originally from Gardena, relocated because Lomita is closer to home; I was wondering why he looked familiar. :-) Been back several times since but haven't seen him. =( On this most recent visit, M just started class at South Bay Chinese School in addition to regular 2nd grade, & I wanted to treat him for his efforts. M has tried every flavor of specialty pancakes except for tiramisu (has coffee) & Guava N Cream (not sure why). He returned to his 1st fav: blueberry. Instead of breakfast, I decided on the crispy chicken club sandwich. Smell the sweetness off these fluffy clouds of deliciousness — lemon-vanilla butter is soooooo addictive! Yum!!! M couldn't wait to dig into it, & was super impatient as I cut the pancake into bite-size pieces. This little guy always test my poor knife skills when he's craving something... a sad reminder that he missed their pancakes on his birthday a few years ago since he said, "I didn't get blueberry pancakes on my birthday, Mommy." :-*( My sandwich was a bit messy from all the flaky croissant's crumbs; it's a BLT with added chicken... quite tasty, especially with the cilantro jalapeño aioli! Nom, nom, nom!! We may become regulars here since it's more convenient to eat here, pending if Lomita shows the consistency of Gardena; we're in Gardena for dinner because the 2 south locations doesn't open past lunch. I still love The Pan so I have high hopes for this joint, with room for improvement. Recommended: Chloe's Blueberry Pancakes (or any of their specialty pancakes — they're all great!), Crispy Chicken Club Sandwich, The "Original" Loaded Hash Browns, N'awlins Bananas Foster French Toast, The Havana Pizza, Fried Chicken Salad, Seasoned Fries, Specialty Lemonades (especially Peach).
I love the food here. Always good and the vibe is nice
My wife and I ate here on Saturday, July 3rd and it was fantastic. She had a create-your-own-pizza, which was delicious. I had the Lucky Clucky chicken sandwich and that was really great. Be forewarned though, it's a really messy sandwich, but so good. The fries are covered with some type of coating that makes them really tasty. Highly recommended.
I came here at the recommendation of a friend and boy was I blown away! The atmosphere was clean, comfy, cute, and relaxed. The food was delicious and perfectly. They got my bacon just the way I like it. Drum roll please! THE PANCAKES! THE PANCAKES! I had the guava and cream pancakes and they were perfection! They were hands down the best pancakes I have ever eaten! They also have a nice separate drink menu! Long story short- you MUST have breakfast here! You just must!

Excellent service each and every time my mom and I come here. Our waitress Joan is so sweet and very professional. And Luis another waiter there is awesome as well. Always greeting us and makes us feel right at home. We love eating at The Pan.
Very nice experience today Joan our server was so great I wanted to try a cocktail because I haven’t had any of them She recommended lost beach and it was really good I’ll probably be getting it again next time And she was very attentive and kind The food came out pretty fast and was tasting great Overall great service here and good food
This place was such a pleasant surprise in every sense. The wait time was practically nonexistent. 10 minutes at most, so that was excellent. As soon as we walked in, I also realized the establishment was bigger than we expected as well. Our server was great. I loved her. Best attitude and great personality. Our food arrived pretty fast too and it was delicious. The clam chowder was one of the best I’ve ever had. It was cooked to absolute perfection. I am very happy about all this because this place is not far from us so we will absolutely be back.
Megan and Harley have the best personality. They are attentive and very friendly. The Mediterranean omelette was delicious. My husband had the Loaded potatoes and upgraded his toast to a waffle with fresh fruit. Great experience! We will definitely be coming back soon. Thank you for your wonderful service!
Karlie is a gem! She made sure my food was delicious with all the best menu items and combinations. Everything was right for my tastes. It seemed like the food was even better than before. I ordered the Shrimp and Grits, Nawlins banana French toast and just one "the best ever" banana pancake. Don't you love it when good gets better. Thank you Karlie!
This is my second time coming here and had my birthday brunch here I LOVED IT here. Our server Joan was amazing! She was Very attentive and knew the menu very well. Had an answer to all my questions and was able to customize my mother's in law coffee it was delicious!!! The food so goood! The pancakes always delicious . Well everything we had here is so good I definitely recommend coming here it won't disappoint! Thank you so much for the great food and making service! We will be back for many more brunches and recommend coming here to celebrate birthdays!! Thank you for the great service
Karlie was a great server and the food was great. I also appreciate the conversations I had with her the last couple of times too! I like going to the Pan compared to the one closer to me in Long Beach because I like the fact that it has a more intimate atmosphere
We sat at the bar and Karlie was amazing! Food was delish, had the PV Chile verde has and tiramisu pancakes with mimosas and everything was fantastic! Definitely coming back! Service was likely the cherry on top!

Food comes out fast and is quite good! Drinks could use a little work.more alcohol for sure. Great experience overall.
I have been receiving coupons for The Pan in my monthly postal mailers. My friend and I finally got the chance to use one and OMG, this is a lovely place. Welcoming, casual, and everyone super sweet and helpful. When we both couldn't decide over 2 items, we decided to do both and share! This way all cravings were met. I will tell you that the Pastrami and Egg Breakfast Sandwich narrowly won over the Zola Crab Cake Benedict (Mmmm). But, yes, it was our favorite. And side note, I could not finish, brought the leftover sandwich home to let hubby have a bite. He said it was definitely "The winner of all breakfast sandwiches". Oh, and the kids cheese pizza is the prettiest and has the stretchiest cheese I've ever seen. We have already recommended you to our bookclub; maybe we can have our meeting with you someday. Thank you Samael S. for your service and to the lovely server that took this photo for us @ the Lomita location.
Food was great! The short ribs benedict was tasty! The tiramisu didn't really taste like tiramisu, but was still sweet and good! The servers were quick and friendly, even giving us a heads up when they switched off for a break. It was pretty busy at brunch time but the wait was still less than 20 minutes.

Lots of stuff on the menu here, and I guess the common theme is that it’s made in a pan? Pancakes, waffles, French toast, pizza, sandwiches—the menu is as eclectic as it is long. Lots of parking available in the parking lot. Family friendly with lots of kiddos around for dinner, but they also have a little bar area on the side. Breakfast is served all day, so I decided to splurge on a decadent dessert-like breakfast for dinner. I got the N’awlins banana fosters French toast, and it was SWEET! Way too sweet for my liking, but I guess that’s what I ordered. Pizza comes in several varieties—thin, deep dish, regular, even gluten free!
Went to The Pan for the first time this morning around and ordered 2x Ultimate Crepes along with the Lumberjack breakfast dish. The Lumberjack dish was alright minus the bad tasting Turkey Bacon. Regarding this Ultimate Crepe, it lacked a good portion of Nutella and the bananas seemed to be old. I may not know how old what would the employees want to eat this?! Like honestly would any of the employees care to eat this?! How about the Owner and Manager along with Assistant Manager?!
If I could give it zero I would. I am a person studying culinary arts the food was subpar ordered for pick up and got garbage over cooked dry and incorrect food. The biscuits and “gravy” have no gravy way dry. My bacon was over cooked to a burnt char. Got the loaded hash browns without cheese and it’s covered in it. Also ordered the tiramisu pancakes and came with nothing but a brown past on top no syrup or cream as it says on the menu. I am a regular bit after this experience I’m never coming back. I spent $40 on this garbage.
