Went for the extremely tasty Christmas set menu, choosing the vegetarian options. Started with a glass of bubbly on the terrace with a view of St Paul's then inside for all three courses which were delicious and the services was without fault! Would recommend with friends or a date for guaranteed tasty food. The wine was also an excellent crisp white, if that's what you're into.

Gorgeous food and this was all vege. Very good restaurant with 3 floors of food choice. This was the bar on the ground floor. Super close to Farringdon. I walked from King's Cross, took me 30 mins.

I had an amazing experience and left feeling truly delighted, all thanks to the exceptional service from Maria, Alex, and Florin! Their dedication made the visit unforgettable. I’ve been at Smiths of Smithfield several times, it’s an absolutely fantastic place and has great view. Excellent food, always cooked to perfection and flavoursome. Dessert was scrumptious and beautifully presented. Although it’s on the pricey side, but you will certainly get what you pay for. Service was first class. Overall, had another amazing experience all round here. I would highly recommend Smiths of Smithfield!

We originally booked the bar menu, but when we arrived we decided to eat at the first floor 'The Grill' as it was much more peaceful. We're so glad we did! The steak was excellent and I've been to a lot of steak spots. The fillet was tender and flavourful, it came with a tasty beef bernaise sauce and the oxcheek mash potato side is a must!! We also got the black gateau desert and virgin mary cocktail and couldn't fault a thing. Our server Alex was lovely. Would definitely come back! And the view from the top floor was lovely for us to take a quick look after. 10/10 all round!

First of all, the food in the restaurant. It is quite simply, amazing. And you can see that all the chefs work very hard to make it happen. Paired with the experience from the waiting staff and service, very professional. The staff are very knowledgeable of their menu and specials available. They where quick to make sure we where looked after for drinks and appetizers. All in all my experience of smiths of Smithfield was amazing and I thoroughly enjoyed my visit. Thankyou!

The Food was amazing Chef Tim personally visited our table as well. Our server Harley was very friendly and helped with food decisions too! Amazing environment and worth the visit!

Outstanding Review for Smiths of Smithfield We recently had the pleasure of DJing at Smiths of Smithfield, and we cannot speak highly enough of this incredible venue! From the moment we arrived, the level of professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail from Maria and her team on the top floor was nothing short of exceptional. The space itself is stunning, perfectly suited for creating an amazing atmosphere for any event. But what truly made the night unforgettable was the impeccable service from Maria and her team. They were attentive, accommodating, and went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly, allowing us to focus on what we do best – bringing the music to life! We are already counting down the days until we return for NYE. If the last event was anything to go by, it promises to be an incredible night in one of the best venues we’ve had the privilege of working in. Thank you again to Maria and everyone at Smiths of Smithfield for an outstanding experience!

Huge thanks to Maia and Alex for their hospitality and service. I booked a 16 person private hire for a "meeting" and ony received a seamless experience with them both. The both made sure table service was on time and our drinks continuously filled. We will definitely come here again.

We had two really nice meals from the Bar menu for my belated birthday celebration. We arrived mid afternoon having been to an event earlier - the restaurant wasn’t busy at all. The staff were very attentive and friendly. I went for the Smash burger with extra bacon - excellently done - plus a couple of Camden Hells beers. My partner went for the Cod and Chips - with a Bakewell cocktail to chase it. Overall this was a terrific daytime late lunch - I’d certainly visit again. Total bill was £91 for the two us - pretty good value.

I visit this venue every time I'm in the area. 3 floors, 3 different vibes and offering. My very favourite is the rooftop. Service and crafted cocktail recommendations from Pawel are always top notch, never disappoint.

A group of 5 old workmates on an occasional get-together...we chose the uppermost floor on a Friday lunchtime. The venue is stylish and comfortable - there were very few diners, but even had there been the space between tables is generous so noise would not have been a problem. Menu was varied - something for every taste. 3 of us shared. Chateaubriand - rare - which was superb!

I really enjoyed my birthday meal here. Food was great, service attentive. Kevin made us some great cocktails and took good care of us. We have asked for Some classics that were not on the menu and the delivery was great. Recommend

Organised a Christmas lunch here for work, food (including vegetarian and vegan options) was great. The atmosphere was lovely and the staff were so incredibly helpful, and accommodating of our last minute additions. Shout out to Alex for all of his help, thank you so much!

We had our wedding here in July and I cannot say enough about how amazing the venue was! From the start they were so welcoming they let us look around without even having a booking The whole process with them was relaxed and so smooth all our correspondence was so quick and efficient and everything we asked of them they were happy to accommodate On the day everything went so smoothly the food and drinks were incredible we had so many compliments from guests on how amazing the food and service was and all of your guests loved the venue We were able to use almost the whole venue for our reception with incredible views across Central London Mike helped co ordinate all our vendors and made sure everything was running smoothly without us having to do anything All of the staff were so sweet and went the extra mile to make everything really special and making sure us and our guests were taken care of. Thank you so much to Mike who helped us coordinate everything from start to finish myself and Chris my husband are so so glad we chose smiths for our wedding it was such an incredible day!

The restaurant on the second floor is beautiful and the service was incredible! The lovely Tami served us and was so knowledgeable about the menu and the different steak cuts. Her recommendations were perfect as we were all happy with our dishes. Thank you for the incredible service Tami! We were seated on the 3rd floor. The place has exceptional acoustics which makes it easy to have a conversation throughout the evening without loosing your voice. Food was simple but very good. Attentive and fast service -thank you, Tami! Overall good experience.

We hosted our wedding reception at Smiths of Smithfield in September. From the moment we booked our wedding, we had the amazing help of Mike and the team, who walked us through every step and were extremely flexible and considerate of our wishes. Prior to the wedding, we spent time at Smiths having a complimentary tasting and an appointment with the sommelier, Christina, who adapted the wine selection to suit our preferences and was incredibly knowledgable. We always felt like we were in safe hands with the Smiths team and it has become one of our favourite London venues - not only because of our wedding, but also because it is a genuinely incredible restaurant and bar. We had our wedding across two floors: the terrace and the grill. Both rooms are perfect for a wedding and the London skyline was an amazing setting. The food was incredible and many of our guests commented that it was the best wedding food they have ever eaten. The venue staff and chefs on the day went above and beyond to make sure we had the best day. We were delayed by traffic in central and the team seamlessly moved the schedule by 1 hour. In the evening, we hired WeRDJs (recommended by Smiths) who did a brilliant job. It genuinely was the most perfect day and we're so grateful to the Smiths team for everything. We also can't wait to come back to celebrate our anniversaries. Thank you so much Mike, Stan, Christina and the wider team - you guys are the best!!

We held a dinner for our contractors and the whole thing was so smooth. The booking the arranging of items the food order and once the day came the staff were amazing. I have to thank the behind the scene staff for the help with uploading all the dinner orders and also the staff and chefs on the day to deal with a few gremlins. Thank you

My friend and I wanted a venue for a leisurely lunch catching up, and Smiths was an excellent choice. The top floor restaurant was quiet enough to have a conversation, and the views across the London City skyline entertaining. Great attentive service from Linka and her colleagues. The food, including a steak and monkfish mains, were both excellent, and reasonable value for central London - we had a hefty bill, but were very happy with everything served. Would recommend.

I booked the first floor for my 30th Birthday celebration and the whole evening from start to finish was perfect. The team went out of their way to give me the best night, even writing a Birthday card and sorting a last minute cheese board and candle as a surprise. The drinks are on the more expensive side, but the cocktails were delicious. Gorgeous space and excellent service - would definitely recommend.

Had a lovely meal at Smiths of Smithfield. Went with a group of four and we ordered a decent amount of dishes: steak tartare, smoked salmon, scallops, oysters, beef cheek mash, the T-bone steak, and the Chateaubriand. Everything was delicious. Out of the starters my favorite was the beef tartare. Both of the steaks were great but I leaned more towards the T-bone. Lastly, the beef cheek mash was amazing. I highly recommend you order it.

A pleasant restaurant to stop by for lunch / dinner. Good service and food. "Smiths" burger is ok, but nothing special. Ribs looked like a better choice :)

With the historic 140 year old Smithfield Market as its famous neighbour, this is the perfect setting for the any occasion whether you are thinking of a small or large, casual or grander gathering. The food was excellent, especially the starters. You could tell they source quality ingredients from curated suppliers. We were on a date, but there was a large group dining and a farewell at the same time, yet the layout of the space meant that we each had our own space and not get bothered by ambient noiseI The rooftop bar and restaurant had the most perfect views to St Pauls and the City. The set menu keeps things simple and there is something for everyone, without blowing the budget too

Great steak restaurant converted from an old warehouse with top class food. Obviously very popular with the amount of customers present. Ground floor very noisy and difficult to order drinks. Next two floors more seating areas and all busy. Was in a group of 12, I had a 3 course meal which was very good and great service from staff. Steak was cooked perfectly. Would recommend if you like steak, variety of choice. Expensive but you get what you pay for.

The terrace and restaurant on level 3 have wonderful views and a very light and airy feel. Service was good as was the food. Expensive as you would expect from this location and setting. Views over St Paul's Cathedral and the financial quarter of the city. Amazing beef and lamb options as you would expect. We had the Sunday roast which was £21, a good plate of food with duck fat potatoes, Yorkshire pudding, Cauliflower cheese in copper pan, roasted onions and carrots and cabbage. Could have done with more beef. Desserts were lovely and decadent without being sickly.

Place is nice with a very beautiful and classy ambience. We went to the rooftop restaurant in 3rd floor. Very photogenic and nice view of the cathedral, even as far as upto the Shard. However, 4 star for the food. Very pricey which can be attributed to the nature of value, but the potion size is also very limited (mains). Good enough just for appetizer but not filling enough.

Visited for lunch with five friends on Saturday. The restaurant was quieter than expected downstairs, which was surprising for a Saturday. Different meals were ordered, which all came together and promptly. Portion sizes were good and the service couldnt be faulted, and surprised it wasn't more full for a weekend. I would certainly recommend.

Smiths of Smithfield had good food, but poor service and a busy atmosphere. Upon arrival, we were seated and waited 15+ minutes for a server to come to us to order drinks or food. When we were first approached, we asked for a specific bottle of wine and were told we could not order the bottle through the waitress but had to wait for the sommelier (despite knowing what we wanted). We waited another 5-10 minutes until she came and we were able to order. Then a few more minutes for the server to come take our order. We were seated at least 20 minutes total before we were helped with anything. The starters were good - the steak tartare, oysters, and scallops were all tasty.We ordered the t-bone and chateaubriand both medium rare, but I much preferred the t-bone, though it was cut with so much meat left on the bone. The ox cheek mash was the highlight of the meal. Overall, the service was unfortunately what left me wanting more. Between the long waits & asking the waitress for more water twice (and never receiving it), we were disappointed. The place was very noisy, which I am not accustomed to for a “steakhouse”. At the end, after ordering over 600 pounds worth of food, we went to order dessert and they were out of what we wanted. When we asked to modify the ice cream flavor on a second dessert, the waitress said it was just “too busy to ask the servers to change something”. After paying so much, I would really have appreciated simply changing out an ice cream flavor, but that wasn’t provided.

Food was fine, Venison tartare could be a bit more tasty however. Show for burns night was only 25 mins in total with 3 song only which was pretty disappointing for the price paid for this special night. Rooftop with nice view.

Service was poor. One of the lads behind the bar did a decent job. The other didn't have an interest in dealing with or acknowledging customers. The food was awful. I thought they served humous on the bread but it was a dollop of mustard which was a nasty surprise after taking a bite. Why was this not served on the side? The salt on the makeral was too overpowering and too many fish bones to deal with. Would not recommend.
