Pretty good area I get lunch or dinner from time to time. I love the call in order service for pick up, and the drive through is nifty, sadly atmosphere can be a hit or miss due to being around sketchy type of area in long beach, and sometimes some servers can be a bit rude but overall they're very fast service, kind most of time and also food never misses. Love this place since going to poly highschool.

Louis III is my favorite restaurant in all of Long Beach. It is the most gluttonous food and the most amazing late night snack. They're open really really late on most days and have great prices for things like onion rings and burgers. On a budget you can get a junior burger for less than $5 and it's still quite a hefty burger. I'd highly recommend visiting and getting just a normal hamburger. Their onion rings and zucchini fries are also amazing and in larger portions. The milkshakes are also quite good

It's the best burger spot in town. I'll choose this place over other ma and pa burger joints or fast food restaurants anytime. The food is always great. Cooked to order and hits the spot without being a drain to your wallet. It's usually busy, and parking is cramped, but it's worth the wait. The menu is larger and varied so there's something good and different wverytime you come here. A great place to satisfy your craving.

My favorite burger spot ever. I have never had anything here that wasn't delicious. I usually stop here in the morning for breakfast. The staff is so super friendly and attentive. They always handle my orders perfectly (I have some dietary restrictions). I love everything about this place and even though I don't live in long Beach, it feels like home to me.

Came here from out of state from some online recommendations. The food is fantastic and super filling. I could barely finish the cheeseburger and fries. The only issue was that since we were out of state, we didn’t know how the restaurant worked. The cashiers did not greet us nor direct us on how we get our food even though it was quite obvious we had never been there before. They seemed like they would rather be any place else than working. Besides the mediocre customer service, the food is great and affordable. If a Louis burger were in my town, it would be my go to burger spot!

Been going here for a while and just had some time to catch up on my reviews. My 4 STARS is really for the shakes. Their shakes are amazing. Food is good if your looking to fulfill your grease cravings. If your headed to the drive through make sure you check your order before you drive off. We paid like $1.50 or something for some ranch and they didn’t put it in our bag. Called and they said that we can only get our refund back if we come back at night cause we bought it night. Oh well it was my fault for not checking my order but again it’s their job to make sure the order is correct.

Their pastrami burger is huge, although shredded lettuce and generously sliced tomatoes more than double the thickness of the finished product. Very nice taste, pastrami is perfectly tender and burger is a slab of meat, which is OK. Look at the picture and you'll see my issue. The bun compressed to tortilla thin as I squeezed it into my mouth. So from 2nd bite on, I've got to hold everything together with my hands. Still very tasty, just a mess to eat. Finally used fork to finish last third. Fries arrived well done and crispy, as I requested. I dined in and it was pleasant enough. One thing I dislike about fast food diners is the underpaid staff has to complete certain tasks (it's called side-work) as part of their shift. OK, but mopping around my feet with strong smelling mop drippings will not get you 5 stars. I understand it was a coincidence of my feet and shift management. But it didn't add charm nor add to the ambiance. Fix the buns and it's really all right.

Second time here, definitely get the burger. It’s pretty good and the portion sizes are healthy. Might sound odd but one of my favorite things here is their ranch. The worst part about this place is how busy it is all the time and the parking lot is small and hard to move around

Steak and egg breakfast, this is my favorite here, as you can see from my posted pictures!! The drive thru is very narrow, so if you have a truck or larger suv, be very careful around the bend from the menu to the window!!! The staff are very nice and always ask you about needing condiments, and even if you don't ask for any, you'll find an array nestled in the bag!!! I love grape jelly for my toast!! The interior of the restaurant seats many, so no worries about seating if you want to dine in. Priced like most, you'll find many drive-thru items for your liking.

We come here whenever we want a good grilled chicken sandwich or a tasty burger. The prices are good and the food is made to order so you can get what you want on the sandwich/burger. The club is huge, enough for 2 people. The fries are REALLY good too! We do drive thru most of the times and the wait, even during peak hours, isn't bad at all. I like mushroom burgers but I wish they toasted the bun first to prevent it from getting too soggy/oily. Otherwise, thumbs up on this great place.

Let me start off by saying, not the best pastrami sandwich in Long Beach at all. Decent? Yes but nowhere near the best. And super overpriced. I am a truck driver so I eat at lots of places all over Southern California and I’ve never paid more than $20 for a pastrami combo at any place I’ve ever gone to Yet here. It’s $20 for just a sandwich and fries no combo offered. And the lady in the drive-through was not very nice or polite and my fries were all overcooked. If these jobs are to be living wage paying jobs, then I should at least get what I’m paying forand today I did not.

Very clean restaurant, friendly staff and quick service...and that's about the only positive thing I have to say. We ordered a pastrami sandwich with fries and two burgers with cheesy fries. The regular fries were pretty good; the pastrami was as bland as bland can be, so were the burgers. The most egregious offender were the cheese fries...who serves cheese fries with cold, un melted shredded cheese?? I rarely give 1 star reviews, but this is certainly deserving of it.

I remember a time when Louis was the place to go for breakfast. During the time a gentleman named Andreas I believe would run it. People were friendly, food was good and the place was clean. How times and the people have changed this place. I walked up to the front counter and waited for 2 young ladies to finish their conversation before they greeted me(even though they made eye contact when I opened the door). My order placing was simple and for the 1st time in a long time everything was done as requested. The place needs detailed cleaning and some very obvious things need fixing. Based on my visit today I was going to give it at least 3 star despite the fixable issues but while waiting on my table I observed a cook go to the bathroom WEARING HIS APRON still... The one he undoubtedly wipes his hands on while cooking. Came out and walked straight to the kitchen. I pray to God he at least washed his hands inside but than again Everyone grabs that same door handle so..... Yikes! Most of their chairs have paint on them. Their booths need detailed cleaning and for my sugar I decided to pour directly from the container as the lid was filthy. Their dining room area is in desperate need of detailed attention and so does the customer service. I'm not sure I'll be coming back but if I do I'll update this post.
