We came to the ugly duckling for the winter pop up! The atmosphere was amazing! Jeff was our server and he was so nice and helpful!!! The food needed a little improvement! The drinks and dessert were good! It was still a fun experience!

The food was very good, but they were "out" of a few choices on menu. The Martini tasting board was incredible. They put on the game that we wanted to watch. Very cool place and lovely server. Thanks!

Two young kids were helping the waiter very sweet young boys. Made for a nice holiday pop up. Santa and ms clause came around and gave my kids a good smile. My boys were rowdy and the staff was very kind about it.

Very laid back. Seemed to only have 1 waitress working. She was good but needed help, and more drinks could have been sold.

Went around 4pm on a Friday and it was pretty empty. I got the Ugly Ducklin Burger and it was good! They cooked it more than I asked, but it wasn't dry. It unfortunately only had a tiny smidge of sauce. One of my friends got the Chicken avocado wrap I think, and said it had no flavor or sauce. The decor was fun. I wish all drinks and not just alcoholic ones came with rubber ducks. Over I would recommend but it wasn't extraordinary

Also drinks were going to service was fast. Second time however I ordered they avocado wrap which was really good but the fries that came with it were completely over seasoned and very salty I couldn’t even enjoy them. Besides that though I would definitely come back here.. just not order fries!

Not much of a choice on the menu The drinks were horrible the Caesar salad not that great.. I tried to play it safe eating a Burger sort of dry but OK. I won't go back too much money.

The staff here is amazing and friendly, good burgers and great nachos. But Certain things are over priced like the salads, you receive a tiny salad for a hefty price and that’s without protein like most salads come with. Drinks are okay.

Went for a Christmas Pop Up. The idea was great, but the organizers will need a few more years of experience running something like this. Drinks were great, but food was less than drive-through quality. Overall, it brought an additional holiday vibe to the town of Long Beaxh.

The EDM (Electronic Dance Music) with the same 2/4 beat for every song, at an extremely loud level, pounding in my head made it impossible to have a conversation. Service was slow, but accommodating and, ultimately, reduced the .sound level, but not that pounding beat. That overwhelmed the meal and I, barely, remember what I ate.

I like the duck gimmick and the Quack Attack (depending - - my first was noticeably stronger than my second). The Reuben is pretty good, too. But for what they charge, the service we received was unimpressive. Our waiter messed up literally our entire drink order after keeping us waiting for about twenty minutes for the first one. In fact, there was a distinctive atmosphere of "exclusivity" belied by the goofy duck-themed decor - - I felt like we were being ignored. I hope this place sticks around, but it needs new management.

Disappointing meal. Chicken & waffles sliders - if every part of the sandwich was as good as the actual chicken...alas, the waffles were dense, undercooked on one side, of course limp not crispy. Cole slaw was tasteless - no tang nor salt tho veg had crunch. Even the Pickles were under-seasoned. A pity since the chicken was flavorful, moist, with a nice fry crust. Service was slow, music so loud that conversation was reduced to lip reading. The band was good but might have sounded better at a lower volume and better bass/treble balance.

We went to the Ugly Duckling for Dinner and Dueling Pianos last night. My fries were burnt, twice, and it took a while to get our food. They charged a higher amount than the menu price. Loud atmosphere and difficulty parking. It was a fun atmosphere and I'm glad we tried it but I won't be going back.

The calamari was a nice size and tasted good. But not sure the price as j tasted a friend. The staff was very nice, a bit slow The food was not good AT ALL, their tacos are actually mini tacos you grab with 2 fingers, very expensive for the amount of food, then the lobster mac n'cheese, pasta was undercooked, maybe cooked and no lobster in it at all, to the point we decided to gather all lobster we could find, it was less than a tea spoon amount of lobster in there. My partner quoted " we are eating dry pasta", Nachos, same tasteless cheese and very little amount, some soir cream on top nothing in bottom, if you like the atmosphere, make sure to eat somewhere else, because you'll be disappointed especially for the price tag for each dlsh,

We called on a Monday to make reservations for Thursday. They stated that they do not take reservations, but that it shouldn't be too crowded on a Thursday. Ok, great. So we travel 40 minutes to the restaurant (on Thursday), just to see that the place is completely closed. If they had any intention on closing due to renovating (which I later saw on Instagram), why wouldn't the lady on the phone tell us that?! This place doesn't have 1 positive review, and customer service can go a really, really long way.

I went there last night for dinner and everything was okay until we started getting flies. We told the waitress three times that maybe due to the back door been open the flies were coming. She did not do anything nor advised her manager of the flies issue. We decided to cut our night out short and left. I will not recommend this place and the health department will sure be contacted.

Stay awayyyyyy beyond horrible. The drinks are disgusting ordered mac & cheese had no flavor what so ever tasted like it was boxed mac & cheese had to add mad salt and pepper to even try and give it some taste which didn't work waited a whole HOUR for two burgers that ended up not even getting. You are better off going to Boston Market then this place the name speaks for its self! STAY AWAY

Went yesterday for lunch with my family and I didn't care for the food or the slow service. The drinks were weak and the food was expensive, especially for the portion size. Would not recommend or go back.

I've never really had to write bad reviews but my experience here was terrible. First of all. I went for brunch a little after 11:30am with a friend. She had the breakfast tacos (literally a pancake with eggs and bacon any 7 year old could do) and I orderd the steak with eggs. When they brought out her tacos, they also brought out my eggs, just eggs. Now if I'm mistaken the menu describes the Steak & Eggs as: Black angus chateau steak, two eggs, cooked to your liking, chimichurri, home fries. Never received the chimichurri sauce or the home fries because the kitchen was "slow today". Its 45 minutes into our time dining and still no steak has come out. I ask the waitress who I know has nothing to really do with why the kitchen is dragging their feet on my order. I got fustrated and simply asked the waitress for the bill because I'm just fustrated at this point. We get the bill and as I'm reading it, they finally bring out the steak. JUST STEAK. Not an additional side of eggs for my wait, but a large plate with the smallest order of steak. This has to literally be my worst experience at a restaurant in Long Beach. This may be a singular event but this was my experience and I will never come back here again.

Music was insanely loud, couldn’t hear the people i was sitting with or the waitress. Was brought a mimosa in a dirty glass. The waitress was nice. But the menu did not specify that the dish I ordered contained duck whatsoever. (I could of assumed based on the name of the restaurant but it would have been nice to have that on the menu). About 3 hours after leaving i ended up puking for the remainder of the night. I found out the following day that myself and another member of my party had food poisoning. Dine here with caution.

Ugly duckling Long Beach, was awful to say the least. Firstly the waiter messed the drink on the table. The food was not good. It did not look like the photos at all. THEY DIDNT HAVE DUCKS AT ALL! Food was undercook. Waiter forgot about food. Had to send food back twice because it was undercook. Had to get up and go to waiter multiple times. Poor service. Bad food. Bad experience overall. Very very disappointed!!

Pretty disappointed my first go-around here. Stopped by on a Saturday night and the second you walked in it smelled like a boys high school locker room. Waited nearly 20mins on line to be served, 2 food requests I had ordered weren't available, and the music selection was outdated. Drinks were strong but good, didn't stay for more than 45mins.

If i could give 0 stars i would, first off this was our first time here, we drove an hour to get here, we get our drinks and they ran out of ducks. The instagram looks nothing like it actually is. The service is horrible, so slow. The food was okay nothing special and same with the dessert. Definitely not worth the drive. Save ur time,gas and money. Do not come to this location.

Yes it is only 13$ but I cannot fathom how many more people they’ve done this to. And if there was a debit/credit card fee I should’ve been notified at that very moment. Why charge it to my card the next morning? It’s very disheartening to feel like I was stolen from. Especially from a place of business!!! I have a photo attached below. If in fact there was a credit/debit card fee, why wasn’t it charged the night of?
