Really clean restaurant. The lamb curry was good. The spicy chicken sagg was good, but it was not spicy 😭 i wish they could put some habanero chili hot sauce on it 😄😋... I really enjoyed the mango lassi and the garlic green chili naan it was delicious. I appreciate the service here 🙏.

Great food and buffet style so you are going to be full. You can try many different dishes, Southern and Northern Indian food, so definitely a try everything. You can choose your spice level. Also, very comfortable and clean, you can stay, no rush, great family style. Enjoy 😋

I was craving something special for dinner and decided to try Amaravati’s Tandoori Chicken Biryani. Best decision ever! As soon as I opened the box, the aroma of smoky tandoori spices hit me, and I knew I was in for a treat. The chicken was tender with that perfect charred crust, and the biryani rice was fragrant, packed with just the right amount of spice. I ended up eating more than I planned because it was that good! Even my roommate, who’s usually picky about food, couldn’t resist stealing a bite. Safe to say, this is going to be a regular order for me!

The biryani was absolutely awesome—flavorful, aromatic, and perfectly cooked. The Chinese dishes had a great street-style taste that really stood out. Overall, an excellent food experience. Highly recommended!

I came here expecting much the same but the instant I opened the door you could just smell the food from the kitchen and it felt like I was back in the old small Indian restaurant from my childhood. 10 out 10 would come again. And the chai they served was sooooo good that my sister who really only likes drinking green tea also loved it. Even asked how to make it at home. Overall the ambience is very nice, quiet and calming.

I have ordered from Door Dash. This is the best vegetarian Indian food I have ever had. The preparation, the level of spicyness in medium spicy, and the portion sizes are exceptionally good. After my first order, I called to thank them for such a perfect meal. I highly recommend Amaravati! I am looking forward to going there for a meal, especially their buffet lunch.

THE BEST Indian restaurant in Los Alamitos! Went for the lunch buffet yesterday and absolutely loved every single moment of the experience. The food was beyond outstanding - the butter chicken and paneer matar masala were incredibly rich, flavorful, and so soft they literally melted in my mouth. The tandoori chicken was perfectly cooked and tasted truly authentic, just like comforting home-style Indian food done right. The mango lassi was absolutely phenomenal - so pure, fresh, and perfectly balanced. Honestly, one of the best mango lassis I’ve ever had. And the sweets were just as impressive — fresh, delicious, and the perfect ending to an already unforgettable meal. The service was exceptional - warm, welcoming, and genuinely attentive and the atmosphere made the experience even more special. You can truly feel the love, care, and passion that goes into every dish. Even hours after leaving, the flavors were still lingering, and I couldn’t stop thinking about the meal. Hands down, the BEST Indian restaurant in Los Alamitos. Already counting down the days until my next visit. I just visited today and it was so finger licking delicious, I have previously went to multiple Indian restaurants around the place, but this one is top notch. I can't wait to come back again :). Best Customer Service, staffs are extremely nice and responsible. Food is out of the world!!!! And mainly that Butter Chicken and Naan, OMGgg!!!!!! It was so good. Waiting for my next Cheat meal to come back here again....! And BTW, I got to try the Lunch Buffet out there!!!! A must visit Indian restaurant around Long Beach area.

We had the buffet and it was excellent. It’s our second time coming here. The food is made with less low oil and salt than many other restaurants and yet very flavourful! They also have South Indian food as well.

I was craving for some dosas and idlis so thought of checking this place out, because an Indian had highly recommended it. This place is nice and spacious, staff are polite and courteous but the food was quite disappointing. We ordered a few South Indian items - Plain Vada, Masala Dosa, Paper Dosa and Plain Idli. The vada and dosas were very greasy. The idlis were not really soft (although I am not much experienced, I still make better idlis and dosas at home!). Only the chutneys and sambar were tasty and good. I can’t speak for the North Indian food, because we didn’t try them. Definitely not going back for a South Indian food experience for sure. I really wished to write a good review before visiting this place because of how highly someone spoke of it, but this place failed us food wise. :(

You wont find anything there as what you on the web. The number of items are also less. They dont refill the items as well. We were very much disappointed after driving several miles.. I wouldn't recommend this restaurants sorry guys
