Thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience at the lounge with a great cocktail list, superb food and choices and a good wine list. The service was excellent and we did a mix and match and my favorites were the steak share dish plus the Asian style seabass. The Lounge has to up there with all the best places to eat in the Murcia region.

First time visiting The Lounge for drinks. The staff are brilliant, atmosphere and decor fabulous. We came here every night. The cocktails are amazing and the dry ice in the gin and tonic was something we've never seen before. We will definitely be back.

We booked a table for Valentines evening, The restaurant was already busy but the service was excellent and the dining experience excellent too, We has the Chatau Briand to share which was perfect. Highly recommended

Fabulous Sunday Roast, best i have had in Spain. Lovely surroundings, great cocktails and lovely friendly service. Highly recommend you give it a try. Have also worked our way through the tapas menu...great choice but not typically Spanish so something a bit different to what is on offer elsewhere and very welcome after a few espresso martinis!!

We were visiting the area for 2 days and were recommended The Lounge. On arriving we were greeted by friendly staff. Gorgeous bar in the middle of restaurant. The decor was stunning and very comfortable. We ordered 3 tapas dishes prawns, Caesar salad and mushrooms. As it was Wednesday night they do a special we ordered that as well The Chateaubriand for 2 came with a bottle of wine, thick chips, onion rings, grilled tomato and a couple of sauces, we were hungry lol. Everything was beautifully presented and delicious. A fabulous cocktail menu and wine list. Met Nicola one of the owners. She was lovely and very friendly. Thank you Nicola for letting us borrow your umbrella. Looking forward to spending more time in your bar/restaurant. Zoë & Miles

The Lounge was the best Sunday lunch we have had in many years. The staff were very helpful, efficient and friendly especially as they were very busy which means it is essential to book well in advance. We can't wait to return.

2nd visit this time for Tapas. Awesome. Couldn't fault a thing all washed down with the house Sauvignon Blanc. We will be back. Managed to get a walk in place here as a recommendation. Went specifically for Tapas but Chateaubriand was on the specials board €55 for 2 with a bottle of wine so we opted for that instead. Hugely impressed. Staff attentive and friendly. Booked a table for next week to enjoy the Tapas menu. Many thanks to all involved in this marvellous establishment. Only small issue was hot plates were brought to the table but were cold by the time the food arrived.

Possibly the best restaurant in the area. The food is exceptional and the service and atmosphere is amazing. We cannot visit Los alcazares without coming here (The Chateaubriand and pork belly...wow! This has got to be the best Sunday roast in this area. Everything is cooked to perfection proper thick slices of beef and not like some others on “The Strip” that seem like paper thin tasteless cardboard, same goes for the lamb. Proper sized roast potatoes and home made Yorkshire pudding, and fresh vegetables. The pork was so tender and the accompanying veg went with the meat, could not have been bettered. The staff are really friendly, attentive and professional. It is maybe a bit more expensive than other restaurants in the area but like most things in life, you get what you pay for and eating Sunday lunch at the Lounge is most definitely worth it. AND last but not least the staff are brilliant and work so hard to keep their customers happy. Thank you. The only issue now is the price now is getting a bit high. So with a tip and a couple of drinks it is 50 € 🤔🤔

Wij hadden enkele weken op voorhand gereserveerd in The Lounge omdat we wisten dat het dezelfde eigenaren waren die vroeger Little Sicily openhielden dus waren onze verwachtingen zeer hoog. Deze verwachtingen stelden ons niet teleur, de kwaliteit, de presentatie en de smaken van het eten waren super. Alsook de feilloze service van het personeel ook wanneer je een iets ambetanter probleempje had werd dit met een glimlach opgelost.

This place serves up cocktails better than the bars of Soho! Huge selection of delicious drinks and food… we only popped in for one but stayed for many more as we had to try them all! Smiley helpful staff are constantly on hand to help. Pull up a chair and yourself a popcorn caramel cocktail, you won’t regret it.

Visited this restaurant by chance and what a great find. They squeezed us in and gave excellent service. The food was truly excellent.

Was told how good this place was from a couple of friends and they were right. We had their chateaubriand for 2 and it was excellent the best steak I have eaten. The bottle of wine it came with was lovely also. We had starters the creamy mushrooms and chicken satay, both were very nice. Did not have deserts as had no room left.

We booked a little late in our holiday yet we were accommodated on the terrace and I'm so pleased we were. The service was exceptional as was the food. I decided to have the tapas my husband had the fillet steak. Everything was cooked beautifully and tasted delicious. When we return in June I will definitely be booking as early into our holiday as possible to ensure we can enjoy another evening of delicious food.

For this restaurant however, I can not come up with any negative comments. This food just makes me happy. Sometimes you just come across rare pearls that make a guy like me happy/emotional. The service and staff are just amazing, and everything is spot on. Keep doing what you are doing, you guys have the secret formula!

You can taste everything is fresh and made with passion. Best carpaccio we have ever had! Shrimps to die for and the chateaubriand looks amazing and we'll try it next time we come.

Owned and run by the same people as Little Sicily, so if you're familiar with that fantastic restaurant, then you know you're in for a treat at The Lounge, albeit with a slightly different vibe and atmosphere. Varied beers and wines are on offer as well as lots of different cocktails including the usual classics as well as some new ones, lots of them with subtle twists which add to the whole Lounge vibe and theatre. White wine comes in an ice cooler with foaming dry ice in it for example; very cool. Even a Bacardi and Coke has a little dry ice surprise in it. Measures are insane (in a good way) so be prepared to be crawling back to wherever you're staying. We ate and drank there a few evenings, enjoying both their great tapas menu one evening and then the Chateaubriand on a Saturday evening. Again, like Little Sicily, the food really is excellent. There are culinary little twists to keep your taste buds entertained. The staff are friendly and provide an excellent service. All in all, a great bar, restaurant, bistro; whatever you want to call it. You really won't be disappointed.

We have eaten at The Lounge previously and the tapas and service have always been excellent. This evening we visited and, sadly, the service was below par. The food itself was of the usual high standard except that the main steak dish was lukewarm and the white wine was not at all chilled. Dishes were served in the wrong order with the bread and aleoi and fries served after everything else. Our overall impression was lack of organisation which is a shame because the food and wine are very good.

Decidimos ir a tomar unas copas con mis amigos en diciembre, pedimos la bebida, y nos dijeron que nos moviéramos a otra zona del bar que estábamos estorbando , porque ese día tenian mucha gente , le dijimos que no nos sirvieran las copas , que nos iríamos al bar Zarcos , que el trato es excelente de toda la vida. Y nos dijeron que las copas las teníamos que pagar aunque no estuvieran servidas, nosotros sólo dijimos que pagaríamos las servidas, pero ellos querían que pagásemos por algo que no estaba servido, y a un precio elevadísimo .Fue muy humillante el trato, muy maleducado el camarero que hablaba bien español, con amenazas , fue horrible…, y encima le pides una copa de vino blanco y te la ponen con un cubito de hielo. No recomiendo para nada este local. El Zarcos está justo al lado y siempre nos han tratado de maravilla, camareros simpáticos y un gran servicio , 100% recomendable y buen precio!

After a while, I decided I could have a quick dinner at the bar and then move on. When I went back to tell her, I was met with an almost scolding tone and told they were too busy and I would have to wait. No matter how fine the restaurant, this kind of treatment is far from professional. In the hospitality business, respect for paying customers should come before building a name. I had every intention of ordering a proper dinner – and I’m confident my bill would have been higher than most tables there – yet I was treated as if my presence was an inconvenience. I paid for my champagne and took my business elsewhere. Based on tonight’s experience, I won’t be returning. Good food means nothing when it comes with poor customer service. Additional Information: After writing this review, I took some time to read through the owner’s responses to other guests who left critical feedback. Unfortunately, it only reinforced my impression: the owner consistently comes across as condescending, defensive, and uninterested in constructive criticism. The tone in her replies suggests that she sees no value in listening to customers – only in justifying herself. I’ve also spoken to several other people visiting this town during the summer, and they shared similar experiences. Some of them mentioned feeling unwelcome or dismissed when they visited the restaurant. This doesn’t seem to be an isolated incident. The place has potential – good food, a nice location, and a pleasant atmosphere. But when guests are made to feel like a burden rather than welcome customers, none of that matters.
