PERFECT omelet, beautiful space, and great service! We ate here 2x while receiving dental treatment in the area. Staff was very helpful in finding soft foods for us to eat, and quickly preparing take-out for us to bring back to the room. Mexican dishes not super spicy, but that was ok bc we needed to avoid spice on this trip Gracias mi casa en su casa!
Friendly, good atmosphere, good menu selection of breakfast lunch and dinner options.
Great views from the outside deck, friendly staff and delicious food. I had steak with peppers twice in one day as it was just unbeatable. Drinks were good and the prices too. Must stop for anyone visiting or staying in the town.
Easy 3 min walk from California Hotel. Dinner was great & love their chips & salsa. Get the spinach stuffed fish dish! Muy bueno and easy on dental work.
It's one of my favorite places to grab a quick bite! Tamales are delicious and the Enchilada and the tacos. Beans and rice are delicious too!
Angel was a great server! He took fantastic care of us from entrance to exit! I have many food restrictions and he took the time to work with me, with a smile on his face! The food was great, everyone loved their meals and the mango daquri was delicious! We will absolutely be back 🎉
Angel was our server and he provided the some of the best service I’d ever had. He was knowledgeable of the menu and was able to help out my vegan friend with the menu and even made some adjustments. Super accommodating and kind! I already liked this place but Angel made me want to come back.
Angel was our server. He knows the menu very well. He helped my vegan friend, customized some items for us, made awesome recommendations and was what you want a server to be: knowledgeable, fast, attentive and funny. I ate here before, so the food is generally good, but angel made sure the rest of the experience was good too.
Had a delicious parrillada, which is enough for 3 to 4 people. It came with grilled chicken and beef, sausage, 4 quesadillas, guacamole, pico de gallo, and beans, along with tortillas. We went back for breakfast and had chicken chilaquiles with beans and a hashbrown and fresh squeezed orange juice. Everything here was delicious and very inexpensive.
The huevos a la Mexicana, refried beans and hash brown were excellent. And for $4.50! I’ll be back the next time I’m in Algodones for sure.
This is one of my favorite Mexican restaurants in Mexico. I most frequently order a shrimp dish with garlic and butter. It's delicious. The interior is pleasantly decorated and comfortable. I often dine on the balcony. The cost for 2 adults was about $35 plus tip which included two Margaretas. Always have great friendly service.
I had some dental work done that involved staying a couple days in Mexico. Mi casa es su casa served great food and a very pleasant atmosphere! Don't miss this Jim if you're in Los algodones Mexico.
Had the tortilla soup, and chicken casedilla . We split the chicken. Best tortilla soup I've ever had, tomato based broth, full flavored, avocado, and corn tortilla stripes, cheese in soup. Great taste. Highly recommend for this particular soup.
Beautiful little plaza with food a coffee shop, of course dental and pharmacy. A nice place to get out of the sun in the heat of the day.
I have been to this restaurant many times over multiple visits to Sani dental and the Cielito Lindo hotel and located in the same courtyard connected to the dental office. I've never been disappointed with the food, service or wait times. I mostly order take out to my room but breakfast in the restaurant is nice because of the cool jarritos clay coffee cups. I just love them. The interior is soo nice and welcoming and the staff are always happy to help with any special requests. One thing I would advise as a Socal girl with a love for spicy food is to ask them for the spicy salsa because I think a lot of the clientele isn't used to spicy food so the general salsa is kind of a watery tomato sauce, so definitely ask if you like spicy. Their food is inexpensive, actually crazy cheap compared to the states and it comes fast. I always over tip because it's so inexpensive. If you need them to deliver to your room because you've had surgery or are not feeling well, they will bring it to you. I personally haven't had to do that but they've offered. Highly recommend everything Ive eaten, I'm going to add pictures of the things I remembered to take pics of. Thanks, guys!
We ordered Cadillac margaritas, vegetarian sopes, chile relleno, arrachera, and it came with chips and delicious salsa. Everything was yummy and the place is super pretty. Nice atmosphere, good to get away from vendors for a chill experience. Good prices. They have a "soft" menu too, so they have you covered if you've gotten dental work. We will come back!
Good food, good margs, great prices. Easy going staff
Love this spot! Usually up on the deck but it was being renovated. Nice folks, great prices and yummy lunch 🇲🇽🌮🫔
During my visit to La Algodones, Mexico, I had the pleasure of dining at Mi Casa Es Su Casa restaurant for the first time. Our server, Luis, provided outstanding service. Let me just say, this place is absolutely delightful—charming, cozy, impeccably clean, and offering top-notch food. The atmosphere is equally wonderful, with festive streamers adding to the vibrant and welcoming vibe. It truly was an exceptional experience. I want to make sure everyone knows what an amazing job Luis did and how fantastic the meal was. If you’re ever in La Algodones, I highly recommend Mi Casa Es Su Casa!
Delicious 😋 food Excellent service 👏 🍸 margaritas are great 👍🏻
Great little place. Prices are wonderful and portions are huge. I would recommend getting the Chicken Milabesa (i got French fries instead of mash potatoes Also was the best chicken I have ever had) Would recommend the Waffles and coffee for breakfast (served all day).
Part of the sani dental group. Good spot to wait for your eyeglasses or dental appointment. I like how there's an upstairs and downstairs so if you're too hot or too cold you can go up or down. Also, there's an outdoor seating area on the second floor above the street to look out during good weather. Prices are lower than the restaurants located right near the border, but the juices are more expensive for some reason.
Coming to Los Algadones for dental work and wanted to find a last beefsteak before dental surgery. Found this gem! Great atmosphere and great prices. Food ad drinks arrived quickly. Don't miss this place.

It's a very nice restaurant in Los Algodones in the "Dentists & Pharmacies" neighborhood. The interior is Mexican country-style with heavy wooden chairs and tables. The service staff was extremely nice and helpful, and the food items were tasty. I recommend the Pacific seafood cocktail with shrimp, octopus, and avocado.

Ambience wise, it was neat and orderly. A well designed restaurant with balcony and alfresco. Food was OK, a lil bland but it was fine. The lemonade was just divine. Service was a bit slow. Took them 20mins to get me a drink and my order. But it was a good dining experience at 4/5.
Very good food! The tilapia steamed in aluminum foil was excellent and was a generous portion. Staff was very accommodating with my vegan diet and blending my friend’s soup because of new dental work. Great prices for the generous portions and the good food quality. I highly recommend!
Ordered shredded beef tacos in a soft shell corn tortilla smothered in red chili sauce. They were good. The red chili sauce was very tasty. The beans were not good. Service was quick. I’d go back and try something else.
Everything was great but geared a little more for the Gringo (which I am).
All seven of our group agreed that the food (lunch) was quite good, but a little bland, as if each of the combo items tasted the same, without their own, individual flavors. We did agree that we could eat there again, should the occasion arrive. The service was great, but there was confusion on the waiter's side about who ordered what, as the plates were served. The atmosphere was nice: Both the outside and inside of the building have character. It was reasonably quiet inside, and none of us had trouble conversing during the meal. The restaurant was fairly clean, but I recommend the owner clean/vacuum underneath the glass tabletops more frequently. We arrived at 1145, and there were quite a few small tables available. I would consider making reservations if you have a large group like ours: We did have to wait just a few minutes for a table to be cleaned. Husband/Wife and small groups should be able to walk in without a wait. If you've made the questionable decision to drive into Mexico, you'll have to look for parking nearby, as there's not a lot of parking next to/near the restaurant. Overall, it was a pleasant experience. I have attached the menu, as of 02 December 2025.
What we ordered was good, personally I love green Enchiladas ! they also have a soft, blended menu for those who do dental work, Margarita tastes great, maybe a bit more tequila and Triple Sec it would be delicious, prices a little higher than 5 months ago, overall it was ok👍🏻
We went there for dinner,my husband got fish dish and I got chicken quesadilla. I didn't like the cheese they used in it so I barely ate it but my husband said it was ok and ate some. His fish prepared in aluminum foil was just ok, not enough seasoning but veggies were good. Since there is not many places to choose from in that city- I would say give them a try!
The food here is pretty good, and the service takes a bit. However, that could be a cultural thing. Whoever designed the restaurant certainly had a sense of humor.

This is my go-to place whenever I visit Algodones. The price is right. The food is always fresh and good. And if the weather is warm, it's almost a necessity to enjoy the cool interior and a Margarita.

The food wasn't bad, but could have had more flavor. I feel like this is a very touristy place. Great location. Great service. Nothing made it really stand out though.
The food here was ok. Nothing really special about it. I had pancakes with eggs and sausage. The sausage was a red type and taste more like bologna and hot dog mixed together. The pancakes were pretty bland and the eggs were good. Loved the salsa. Spicy 🌶 🔥 The waiters were pretty nice but weren’t very welcoming.
I was very disappointed. The very small menu and everything is Americanized. The chips were good but salsa too spicy. The fajitas were very tasty. The chicken was a little on the dried out side. Served with white rice!!!!! The fish and shrimp tacos I would never order again. There was 1 shrimp cut in half and a small piece of fish on the fish taco. The Margarita's lacked all around. We have been to most of the restaurants in the area and I can say this is so far our least favorite.
Why bother…. Nice looking place, traditional Colonial decor. Service very “meh”, sat for 5 min before anyone brought a menu. Coffee very good, huevos rancheros a bit sub-par. Tomato sauce lack flavor and not even a sprinkle of cheese. I believe you can judge a Mexican restaurant by its beans and these were fairly tasteless. Overall the food was OK but just kind of bland. Wouldn’t avoid it but won’t make an effort to go back.

It was okay, my hubby was disappointed that the plate he ordered had very little meat and alot more tomato. I ordered sopes and they were decent.. the sope was soggy. Positives: the freshly squeezed orange juice and fries with carne asada. The unique look of decor is what brought my attention to it, but sadly I would eat here twice.
Understaffed today. Food was okay. Credit card machine out of service and had to go get cash at atm. Service fee on atm for 300 was about 10%. Nice atmosphere. Drinks were good would go back
We cleared our own table but the server didn't wipe it down. Had to ask for a drink menu. My wife doesn't drink much and a little bit gets her tipsy. She drank her Paloma and nothing. No alcohol. My margarita also had no alcohol. Seriously. Her Chicken Milanesa was ok but could have used some sauce. My combination was just ok, but the tamale was delicious. The server never came back after bringing the food. I was going to get another margarita, but good thing because they serve virgin cocktails🥴. Only 3 tables were taken and I had to get the server to get our check. He was too busy on his phone. I would never go back.
We had dinner and Margaritas 3 nights in a row, on the 1st night the enchiladas were not that good, the 2nd night we ordered shrimp cocktails and it barely had any shrimp, and on the 3rd night I got a order to go, My Margaritas had no tequilla in them. On top of all that they charged me an additional 4% charge to use my credit card. Very dissapointed. We wont be returning.
Bad service not so great food. Had an overnight stay because of a dentist appointment and this place was recommended. Dinner was not that great as the food was cold, and the service was marginal. Went back for breakfast because it was basically the only option near our stay and the service sucked, food was cold again eggs were way overcooked. Would never return. Everyone working paid more attention to their cell phones than the 2 customers. Find somewhere else to spend your money.
