My family love Barones pizza. We have been getting it for years. Its a great establishment and we know the food will always be delicious.
This is what local pizzerias are supposed to be; Unique and delicious. Nothing else like it and the salads are top notch too. The chop salad is, get this, actually chopped! Amazing Italian dressing too.
Good salty cheezy goodness! Keep it simple when you order Barones. You only need pepperoni, and olive and boy is that good! One of a kind pizza taste you won't find anywhere else... Except another Barones.
Love this place! We had salad, meatball sliders and a meat lovers pizza. Everything was delicious. Service is always friendly and fast.
You can’t get more authentic pizza and Italian deserts than from there and at good prices.
The most heavenly pizza you will ever eat! 😋🍕
Great pizza. Loved the Parmesan baked into the thin crust. Super nice pizza place. Owner was cheerful too! I’ll be back.
Personally speaking, the flavors were good but the pizza itself was more on the oily side. Too oily for my liking. I got mushroom and sausage.
Been going to this Barone's location ever since they opened. Unbelievably delicious pizza! They will make it any way you want! Service is terrific --- very "Customer-Servixe Oriented". We wouldn't go anywhere else!!!
The food was Amazing! If you are anywhere near this pizza place make sure to stop in you will not be disappointed. The staff was super friendly!
Way overdue review that I was reminded of after visiting their Westlake restaurant for the first time a couple weeks ago. So, here it goes....I CAN'T EAT THEIR PIZZA AS MUCH AS I WANT TO BECAUSE I'D NEVER EAT ANYTHING ELSE. I'm kidding (but not really). Seriously, it's not a pizza flavor or crust that can be duplicated, and I can't really describe why. What I can say is that you taste quality in every single bite. The pepperoni must be imported or something, but it's the best pepperoni I've had and they won't tell me where they get it. It isn't spicy, which is a bonus for my daughter who's 6. The Woodland Hills location is kind of small, but for some reason it doesn't feel like it. It just adds to the charm. The negative reviews that talk about how the pizza "looks" are idiotic and I feel bad for their parents for the wasted DNA. The cheese is baked OVER the toppings which actually holds it all together. No more grease stains on my slacks from toppings falling off the pizza....Uhhh, Brilliant? That, along with their rectangular shape is part of their "Barone's Signature". Thanks for being consistently consistent. I'll be seeing y'all for a few of those Dodger Games this season. Peace, Love, and Barone's Pizza.
Barones is good pizza. Inflation has made it pricy though
My family has been coming here for over 30 years. I practically grew up going to Barone's. They have the best flat dish pizza around and their antipasta salad is delicious!
Love their pesto pizza along with extra pepperoni pizza. My family loves it and we ordered from there for my son's birthday and his friends all loved it.
Pizza always served piping hot. Excellent quality ingredients. A unique flavor to (I think) the sauce. Makes it my first choice pizza, even if it isn't round.
I thought this place was great. It has a cozy local establishment type atmosphere. Not pretentious, just good pizza with ESPN playing on a couple of screens. Service was ok. Parking was a breeze compared to other locations on Ventura Blvd. I wouldn’t drive an hour across town, but if I lived in the neighborhood I could see this place being one of my hangouts.
Fire pizza!! Cheese and pepperoni on a thing slice of heaven. Perfect crunch and taste! Definitely check this spot out next time you’re in the valley!
Hands down the best gluten free pizza I’ve had so far!
The best pizza in California, awesome!!!

This is a small little place to dine in but the pizza is fire. The people are extremely nice and it's worth every dime you spend. Great service, great food, and great for families. Awesome!
The food is absolutely outstanding, but man do they have balls! The large pizza that we used to get that fed all 5 of us now the large fed only 2 of us and we were still hungry. They increased the price of a pizza and cut it in size by 2/3. Am I exaggerating? Nope! Also, the Togo soup seems much smaller, too. A smaller Togo container and a bigger price. I'm glad they're making money, but a Doninos pizza is half the price and twice the size.
One of my favorite pizza joints in SoCal! Nothing beats the taste of a Barone's pie after a long day. This particular location has a lovely, little courtyard to enjoy your meal. Warning: Be careful if you visit with teenagers...they will eat all your food!!! So, come prepared to order extra!! (Yes, it is THAT GOOD!)😁
Fantastic pizza and they've been making this recipe since before I was born. The location in Sherman Oaks was one of my grandfather's favorite restaurants. I will always love this pizza and it reminds me of my childhood. 🍕🍕🍕🍕🍕
It's our go to spot. Best pizza we'd found.
We ordered a large pizza and brought it home. It was excellent. Full of flavor and cheese. I use to get Barone's pizza when I lived in Sherman Oaks. Now that I am in Woodland Hills, I am thrilled to have one near by. People who say it is tasteless are either ordering the wrong kind of pizza or have dead taste buds! 6 of us indulged, and all of us had the same positive reaction. I haven't tried the salad, but the little cannoli's were very good!
This restaurant and their food have been consistently great for years the owner and the service have been wonderful for years as well I would give them six stars but there's only five allowed
This place makes awesome sheet pizza had a ton of flavor. We just ordered a pepperoni. It was about $30 for the largest size that fed myself my wife and our toddler and our toddler had some leftover for lunch. Seems to be a cool family place. If you’re in the area give it a try.

Not cheap but very delicious. Absolutely needs to be eaten fresh. 8.6
I love their pizza. But the staff aren't always the best and are sometimes very quiet but hey it's realllllyyyy good pizza so it's ok.
I've never heard the official story - but this is somehow related to Barone's in Valley Glen. I give them 4 stars instead of 5 only because I have to compare against the other Barone's. If they were on their own I'd give them the full 5. They basically have the same pizza as the valley glen location but it's always just almost as good - no idea why. I think maybe because a few times we had it - it was over cooked. They also don't have the garlic bread and I miss that when I go to this location. They have much better parking though and def is in the top pizza in the valley.
Their pizza is very good. It's a thin crust cut into rectangular slices. Salads and appetizers are yummy too. It's a bit pricey but the quality of the food is definitely there.
This is not the BARONE'S PIZZERIA but a branch that is closer to our new home. So to try it out, I ordered a couple of pies to take home. Their thin crust pizzas came out of the oven, at the time ordered, and were as good as the pizzas prepared at the main restaurant. Barone's Pizzeria creates a thin crisp crust rectangular pie. It is ladleled with a rich marinara sauce; then toppings are added. First, Monterey Jack cheese slices are layered to cover the sauce, then fresh veggies, and the protein of your choice are added. The resulting baked pie is uniquely delicious. I've enjoyed it for years. Our second pizza was made with vegan cheese. I devoured the personal sized pie. Besides producing a remarkable duplicate of the original pizza, the Branch Pizzeria has a beautiful, romantic patio. STUFF: The bathroom is inside, at the rear of the restaurant. A hand washing sink is outside the bathroom. Dogs may accompany their owners on the patio. Parking is free and easy. The lot is located east of the eatery. There are ADA spaces.

It's a unique pizza for sure! It's a thin pan pizza with cheese over the toppings. I can't say I've seen anything else like it. It's pretty darn good too! The staff seems really nice as well. I placed an order on line and they called to let me know they'd be 10 minutes late. I mean, where can you get that anymore? It was nice.
very delicious chicken pesto pizza with a nice crispy crunchy crust. loved it

Cool patio to eat on. Food is just average. . Service is counter service and was very middle of the road. Not a lot to talk about.
Hit & Miss- This place sometimes delivers great pizza and on time. Other times, they show up over an hour to two hours late & with barely an apology. So you may like it...or you may get very frustrated. When it's good, it's good...but when you're forced to wait nearly 2 hours, no matter how good the pizza is, you'll be pissed. So good luck if your order & may the pizza gods smile upon you!
We got takeout during the pandemic. The facilities were partially disease preventative. I had to hand my credit card to the worker and he handed it back. I couldn't give them credit card over the phone. No curbside pickup. Food was okay. Way too many croutons in Cesar Salad. Pizza toppings were good but Pizza crust was not.
The food was pretty good, but the prices on their website and on the pictures of the menu on here are incorrect. The menu I referenced indicated $11.99 for a small 3 topping pizza and $6.99 for a slice of cheesecake, which I think is fair. However, once ordered it was $16.99 for the pizza and $9.99 for a slice of cheesecake! I thought maybe the cheesecake would be a really big slice, but no it's standard size. I think I would have enjoyed my meal more if I paid the expected price, but I feel a little deceived and ripped off.
Overall, not as enjoyable as other options. The pricing is not justified given the mediocre quality.

Good pizza but lousy service. Close randomly and no info to that effect on any recording if you call to order. Even when they are open they can't be bothered to answer the phone. Plenty of other good pizza places so don't bother with this one.
I´ve never dined in, so I can´t provide a review about it. The place looks clean, and the staff is always courteous. This review is about the Pizza... The quality went downhill since I started patronizing Barones two years ago. The pizza was fantastic! The crust was delicious, and the toppings were fresh. That has changed; the last two times that I ordered, I was left disappointed; the crust was not fresh anymore and had been too thin and undercooked, becoming a soggy mess with the toppings; my wife thinks that they are not doing fresh dough anymore but reheating pre-made crust. The pizza is not the cheapest in town, but the quality used to justify it, but not anymore.

hey everyone, first time customer, beware,i ordered a pizza was told that it was going to be delivered by a certain time.i had to call & cancel because it was taking so long. the customer service person said oh wait hes getting in his car know to deliver to you.. so i say go ahead & deliver it then. it tool over an hour for it to finally be delivered. i live practically across the street from the company. i gave the delivery guy the money for my purchase. he then had the gall to ask me for a tip. on top of what i paid for the delivery fee included in my purchase. i will never order from this company again .Barone's 22435 Ventura Blvd. Woodland Hills. isnt it company policy that you dont ask the customer for a tip. also the service was just plain terrible.
No exaggeration, this was the worst tasting pizza I’ve ever had. I thought the first time was just an accident. So I went again and it was awful too. And it’s ridiculously overpriced. Never again
Worst place ever , ordered a pizza and got it after 90 min cold and dry like cardboard, call the place and told the manager will call me which never happened, do yourself a favor and don't bother order anything
Over half-hour after they accepted my order, Barone’s suddenly ‘discovered’ they won’t deliver my order for being short of $25. I don’t know why it’d take anyone that long to presumably read an order, accept it, start cooking it, and then when it comes to deliver suddenly decide “nah, we won’t do it!”?? Especially after their “policy” was nowhere posted on the online menu I used, and I could’ve easily ordered from elsewhere instead of sitting here hungry and starting the process with someone else from scratch. Really horrible service, honestly, and not even a very basic apology or offer to remedy the situation. Never again. *PS- Be aware, same restaurant has more than one listings*
One of the worst pizzas I have had. Too salty, full of grease and they even burned it. You couldn't make it any worse.
Just got a delivery. Food left out front with no phone call or text message. - beef bolognese spaghetti (tablespoon of beef on angel hair pasta) - pepperoni, sausage, green pepper large pizza ($25) delivered cold with unevenly low amounts of cheese but the only only item edible. - 8 piece cheese ravioli which looks & tastes like cheese fritters’ squares & overall soggy. If you only have a couple people in the kitchen, then get those that least have half a brain & understand English. For nearly $70, thought I’d get more then just a large pizza, though I have to reheat, the only thing edible. Shame on the “Barones” name to get such overpriced garbage food. If anyone else eats or orders from these imbeciles, then just stick to the pizza & expect to microwave it once received.
I just tried to order delivery from barones. The girl who answered tripped on me because I ordered an extra large pizza. She said they do not have extra-large. I looked on their website to see if I was mistaken and I confirmed every pizza comes in extra-large size. In an attempt to figure out if their large was an extra large and the website was just mislabeled, I then asked her "what's the price for your large pizza? "she replied, "$19.00". I then said "your extra large is $22.99 on your website". It didn't make a difference with her, she just sat on the phone silently. I told her they need to change the website menu. As I continued with my order she asked me for my address in which I gave it to her. There was a long pause ........when she came back on the phone she asked "are you sure you live in Woodland Hills?" As comedic and a "tad" insulting as that was, I bit my tongue and replied, "yes, I've lived here for 42 years". I continued again with my delivery order and when I told her I wanted to pay with a credit card, she said "oh you can't pay with your card because we need A $20 minimum order". I asked her how much my order was and her response was "$19.99". I responded with "are you f@(k!ng kidding me?", she said "no" ...........so I hung up. I want to say a lot of things about this place lol(and the girl working there), but this is a public domain, being Google, and I will refrain. What a frickin joke though.......
I had a bad experience at this "establishment", I do not recommend to anyone. Coming from the old country, I can tell you that this restaurant would not last in Italy with such horrible customer service. I was in disbelief to experience such form of unprofessionalism and disrespect. Walking in to the building automatically gave bad vibes, smelled like a casino from the 80's with cigarette and mold in the carpet. Apart from having a reservation made days ago, it took us 20 min to be seated with the addition of having to ask 3 different hosts, one of which couldn't even spell "Chanel", while on the phone with a customer trying to book a reservation; then seating us only to tell us to move because the table they sat us at was reserved. Why seat us at a table that was reserved, why didn't they have a table reserved for us, when we made reservations multiple days prior? There were plenty of tables with obvious bad service by this point. We decided to leave and go to a real restaurant. Looking through the reviews on this place, using multiple plat forms; I have seen a pattern where either the owner or management, clearly have zero respect and professionalism. They obviously do not care about having better quality customers and or bringing in more business. And replies to some reviews out of anger rather than a positive solution. All I saw as we all walked out, were a bunch of drunks who never made it in life and they ended up at this below standard restaurant. Which says a great deal about the type of place this is.
I am 71 years old and the pizza was horrible. The only Bernie’s to patronize is the one in the Valley. I’ve have had pizza from all over Ca. and all hands down, this is the worst. Stay away from all Baronies. Please believe me.
