Opinions de Eight Korean BBQ Los Angeles
At just $21.95 per person ($16.95 for children) for AYCE BBQ at BBQ AYCE, this new restaurant in Los Angeles’ Koreatown is has a no-frills, simplified menu with all of my favorite meat selections AND banchan. Their steamed egg dish is also one of the fluffiest versions I’ve ever seen😍 We had: prime beef brisket, marinated beef boneless short rib, pork belly, prime beef bulgogi, steamed egg, snd sikhye
These people HUSTLE. My goodness is the service on point. Had an hour wait due to amount of folks line up, but once we got in food was delivered instantly upon order, staff was hustling through but they check on the table quite often. Meats were great and the steamed egg was tasty! Beef Bulgogi was on point.
Amazing experience at an affordable price! The service was exceptional! You could choose whatever meat you wanted, rice, kimchy, and a lot of other side dishes included! There was a hand sanatizer in each table and the service was great. We didn’t feel ignored like at other places. We would 100% come back!
Such a great deal in KTown for AYCE BBQ - it’s only $21.95 plus 14% tip. You’d be hard pressed to find a better deal. The servers were all super friendly and efficient. Unlike other places where you have to wait for a grill change or to get more meat, they were on top of checking the tables and helping us with the grill. They have the standard meats and it’s extra only to get steamed egg. They do provide alcohol. They have a paid parking lot with a valet but we got lucky with street parking. Credit cards are accepted.
They serve really fast. Good Service and nice place to celebrate.
It was a great experience! I really liked the service — it was fast and professional. I strongly recommend eating here.
from the beginning when we get parking with edward (10/10 service) Jose kkbq is so good with his customer service to seat us n luis is an amazing sever!!!
Best bang for buck all you can eat that you'll find! Really great food too! Makes sure to get there early so you don't wait long.
Got in pretty quickly. Originally told a 15min wait and got in within 5 mins. All the servers are very attentive but it is loud inside so hard to hear/understand them. You will be charged for anything you don't eat so order wisely. There is no take out so you either eat it or be charged. Menu is pretty basic. The banchan is good but wish there were more variety. There is valet parking in the parking lot.
It's a small place, but the meats, service, and prices are excellent. The only thing that's a bit difficult is finding parking, since the place is very busy. However, you won't regret it if you visit this place. Both the manager and the staff are very helpful.
Hands down some of the best service we have received at a Korean BBQ spot. The staff was great, especially Kelvin. He was very engaging and attentive. Your order comes out quick. Their side dishes are on point and refilled without haste. Price is very reasonable. The meat selection has all your essentials. The place is small so expect a wait if they are busy. Bonus, they are open late (2am).
My boyfriend and I come here about twice a week strictly because of how amazing their service is. We particularly love our waiter Kelvin. He helps us every time and he recognizes us. He makes us feel so welcome which makes us keep coming back for more. It's nice to be served by someone who feels like a friend. Thank you always Kelvin!!
I visited a Korean BBQ restaurant in K-Town last night (1/13/2025) and I was so impressed! The prices were affordable, and the quality of the meat was really good. What stood out the most for me was the outstanding service from the young Mexican servers. They were incredibly professional and attentive, making sure our experience was top-notch. They frequently replaced the grill, ensuring everything was cooked perfectly. I've been to many Korean BBQ places, but this was my first time encountering such excellent service. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a delicious meal in a welcoming atmosphere! ---
This is my absolute favorite place in Ktown. My partner and I have been going here since they opened and we’ve never been disappointed. The menu is small, but it’s all you’d ever need. The vibe is casual but has charm. The price can’t be beat by anywhere else in town. The noodles are always a treat. The cucumbers and kimchi are made with love. Keep the soju flowing and embrace the all you can eat. Super shoutout to the staff who always go above and beyond.
Absolutely awesome. Cheap, high quality, fast and clean. Honestly one of the best korean barbecue places i been to.
Best service I’ve ever experienced at a KBBQ restaurant. Extremely attentive staff and management. Amazing price as well. Not one complaint about this restaurant. Will definitely be returning. Thank you!
Food was delicious. Servers were attentive, kind, and had great attitudes. Prices are phenomenal. You won't regret it!
We love it here! The service is great! It's like they get to know you while you're there when they are making sure you have everything you need. This place can get busy. They are open late. Valet is there, and they are kind too. Menu selection may be small but, it's everything you love else where, so it's perfect!
Great price, great taste, great service. Only negative point is the restaurant is very small but I guess that is how they keep prices low, so no complaints. We had to wait 45 minutes for a table, but it is worth the wait. The service is very fast. Probably the best and fastest service in any KBBQ place I have been to. I highly recommend this restaurant.
We had a truly excellent experience at this restaurant! The entire meal was a delight, and the quality of the food was absolutely worth the price we paid. A massive shout-out to Luis, who provided excellent service throughout our dinner. He was attentive, friendly, and made the evening truly special. We highly recommend dining here!
A lil hidden Gem 💎! Loved the service! The staff are super attentive. There was always someone checking on us making sure we had the sides we wanted, checking if we needed more meat. Price wise it's economical it already includes 14%gratuity which is okay by me since the way the waiters were always on point. There is not a lot of variety meat wise but they got the classic and the menu includes shrimp! The quality is really juicy is really great. I loved how they gave us a lot of shrimp and the lemonade was natural and super refreshing!!! It's a 2hr all you can eat. They do charge for left overs, so be wise. The establishment is small but cozy. I loved it!! They do have a new location that recently open, you can always check that one out as well. We loved the service and the taste of the meat and sides, we will definitely come back! Thank you BBQ AYCE for taking care of us today!
One of my favorite kbbq places in the country. Best value for kbbq in the entire state in my opinion. $22 plus tax + 14% mandatory tip. Well worth it in my opinion. The beef belly is superb as is the short rib plate they have. No la galbi here but to be expected since price is so low . Friendly service, be prepared for a wait on the weekends. They have valet parking for $3 , street parking is relatively difficult to find . They take care. Would highly recommend
BBQ all you can eat was so bomb! The waiters were so attentive towards our experience as customers. So much love to y’all! This was my first Korean-BBQ experience. The setup was prepared before we came into the restaurant, and the food was delivered to us fast. The 3 meats we got were so easy to cook, and just as fast to cook! Thank you, and my bestie that I went with, for making this an awesome experience!^^🌸✨
The place is nice, the waiters are very friendly, the service is fast, the food is excellent with a lot of variety to choose from. I definitely recommend this place.
Amazing 👏 Great customer service! Always so attentive and ready to help. Food is delicious and for the prize is great.
This place is a little hole in the wall with a relatively small menu, but it’s honestly such a great spot. It’s super affordable, you cannot beat that price for KBBQ all you can eat! They’ve got a great selection of meats and the staff is incredibly fast, friendly, and helpful. They were playing some good music too, which I loved. I would definitely come here again!!!
The food is bang for its buck! The best part is feeling like you’re appreciated which the staff who work tremendously hard make you feel from the second you walk in. The best part is the simple Korean BBQ menu that they provide so you can enjoy every thing and try at least once. The side dishes are shellfish free and the kimchi is to die for! They have the rice papers to make good rolls with the steak brisket. I’m definitely coming back here when I’m in LA again.
This place has great food for a really great price!!!! The service is great with very attentive waiters!
Really worth the price! If you want a simple AYCE KBBQ in Koreatown, this is a perfect place to go. They only have one price plus tax and tip. The service is great! I love beef belly, beef brisket and bulgogi here. We left almost 10pm and they gave out free korean rice dessert drink to every table too. Parking is $3 and free if you come after 9pm. It’s quite busy in the area when we went.

It was 7 of us first time visit, make sure to bring some cash if you park on the lot to pay for parking it was $3 at the time. Service here at the restaurant was top notch and the staff were awesome they work hard. I’d say they just need to work on calling/texting the number they put down on the list because we did have to check in ourselves if the table was ready, there’s 2 one person restrooms here and food was delicious.
This is my cousin and I favorite place. We love the prices and the servers are always friendly. Small menu but good meats. Pork belly and rib finger are a most try. And lots of good sides.
It's hard to believe what a great deal this place is.... and how good our experience was. It's kind of a loud party environment, but fun and an unbelievably good deal. The service was great on top of it. Food was delicious. I think I have a new favorite Korean barbecue spot.

It was a really cute place and fun to bring the homies especially since the price is good. Super close to my home so it was convenient for me as well. I love meat and it was pretty quality. Only thing was that it’s valet parking only before 8:30pm at least. We were lucky to find street parking about 0.5 mile away.
Not bad for the price. Food was Korean all you can eat. Perfect pricing. Small Hole in the wall
The food and prices were excellent, and the atmosphere was pleasant. Although my bill arrived unexpectedly after my third round, I understand that they have procedures to follow. While it wasn't truly all-you-can-eat, and there were no side dish refills, everything else was wonderful, especially their late closing time.
A pretty affordable place to eat around koreatown! Parking can be a nightmare though... The venue is very small too, but when we went around 6 PM, there was no line or busy. $21.99 for each person isnt too bad, however, despite the "all you can eat" name, you are only limited to 4 rounds of meat. Besides, if you're a average eater, its already around 3 rounds you may get full. The korean side dishes are pretty good, but are limited selection. I do like the noodles and salad. My favorite meats to cook were the short ribs and beef bulgogi. The soup is also a hidden gem! The Shrimp was also pre peeled which was pretty nice too. Do note that 14% tip is already included on the bill so please tip accordingly. Service was pretty attetive as it was not busy, grill plates were changed often and heat was adjusted too. This was in addition to refilling side dishes and water too! Overall while this place is slightly cheaper for a "all you can eat", there are obvious tradeoffs such as a more limited meat selection and venue size. At least it looks pretty inside with each booth with korean temple inspired decor!

We enjoy coming here because of the price and the servers are great!! They work hard and hustle all the time. The only issue we’ve ever had here is with the owner. He lies about seating times and goes out of order when you sign in. We won’t come on days he is here anymore!
I would have loved to give this place of good review but....... The good: excellent friendly staff and very fast attentive and professional The bad: very low quality meat, super loud music , very bad ventilation and burning smell everywhere , very limited side dishes , no parking (valet only)
$21.99 + tax + 14% for 2 = $54.64 not bad but not great. The food tasted ok. Not bad, but on the upside they are open late until 2AM. Downside, they are tiny, they were busy the whole time as they only had 6 booths. We came to dinner at 7pm on Thursday, took about 20mns wait. They don't have self parking only valet for $3 cash so bring cash they are paid ATM's no one gives cash back. Overall nothing special but not bad, perfect late night spot.
Price is very reasonable $21.99/per person but they will insist to charge you for leftovers. The main cashier didn't want to charge my card until he sees our table has no leftover meats, they really enforce the leftovers policy. Not much meat selections which is expected bcz of the price. Meat quality was OK, not bad if you're looking for a quick bite. Waiters was really nice and a 14% gratuity is included in the bill.

This is the type of restaurant you come once and never again. I'll say the service was great and very attentive, the hostess did a great job of putting our group of 7 in one table. They did their best. The food though, was disappointing. One of the meats they brought out (the gopchang) looked completely unappetizing, almost grey and the texture of it reminded me of popcorn ceiling. I didn’t feel comfortable eating it and had to decline it. It was $21.99 a person, so I wasn’t expecting premium cuts, but I was expecting something at least edible and fresh. Unfortunately, the quality just wasn’t there, and that alone is enough for me not to return. We paid 215$ for 7 people. I hope the restaurant owners sees this and decides to upgrade the meat, your employees are great but you need to put the better effort.

Came back from a Dodgers game starving, so we hit this BBQ AYCE spot since it was open late and had a $22 special. It's the sister location of AYCE BBQ & Sushi. First impression: tiny place, used to be a Korean jokbal spot, nothing to rave about. Meat quality? Awful. Tough and chewy. Banchan spread was just OK. I get it, it's budget-friendly, but they could definitely up their game with better quality. Service was on point, though. But the worst part? Got home and was suffering from stomach pain. Definitely not worth it.
This is a very bad self-service barbecue restaurant. The meat is not fresh. The waiters keep clearing the dishes next to you, hoping you will leave quickly. The tip is forced to be 14%, which is not voluntary and makes us very uncomfortable.
530pm. They don’t serve single diners until 9pm. I asked them to go ahead and charge me for 2 people they said they won’t do it. I asked them to charge me upfront and still didn’t serve. Unfair
