Overall a nice experience. Staff were friendly. Food was delicious! My bf likes potato salad and he said it was good (I don’t like potato salad so to me it wasn’t). The Mac n Cheese was good nothing amazing, I would try something else next time. The broccolini was yummy could have used some garlic and salt but the lemon was a great add. The loaded brisket fries were absolutely mouth watering delicious! 10/10 must! Great flavors, crunchy but soft airy fries, cheese sauce was creamy and flavorful and the pico de gallo was perfectly flavored that complemented the richness of the creamy cheese sauce. The brisket was soooo yummy wish there was more on it, tender and juicy. Now we both got the Brisket old school chopped sandwich! We died it was so good! And came with pickles on the side, I normally hate pickles, but not yesterday! I add all of it to my sandwich and took some from my bf too. The sauce on the brisket sandwich was super yummy not too sweet and not too overly sauced. The bun was decent kept its integrity for the most part, let’s face it the meat was the star here!! They ran out of their Thursday special but thankfully the rest of the menu was still available lol. I’m unable to drink right now however my bf did try some of their drinks, a tall boy “Bunny with a chainsaw” caned it was decent a bit flat. Then he tried “Big Noise” which was a better choice! Overall our total for two came up to $118 not including tip.

Had lunch with friends at Maple Block Meat Co. The restaurant has a laid back, cool vibe. Service was attentive and friendly. We had The Trifecta, and my daughter had Cinnamon Toast Crunch French Toast. We ended the meal with Chocolate Bread Pudding(to die for). The food was delicious, loved the bbq sauce. Portions were generous. Wheelchair accessibility was not a problem. Will definitely return soon.

Fun, casual environment with excellent food! I was in LA for work and my team ended up eating dinner here twice. Small parking lot in back with ample outdoor seating. Service wasn’t consistent or particularly friendly. We did come towards the end of Saturday so they were running out of several meats and sides. However, we enjoyed everything we ordered!

The waiter and manager was super nice and very kind. All smiles & the food was great!.... especially the pork ribs. They just fell apart in your mouth when you took a bite. Only disappointment is the barbecue sauce. Too runny and it didn't have a deep taste. Other than that, we had a great experience.

James and I are from Arkansas and love in Texas. We take BBQ seriously. LOL If you are not from the area, drive to the back to park. There doesn't look to be enough parking for the amount of customers the can handle. The brisket nachos were good. The ribs and chicken were well under seasoned. The pork tacos were a little dry. The brisket tacos were good. The chocolate chip cookies are not worth getting. They have a bland taste and hard as a rock. We did ask for milk to try and help, but it didn't work. Most of our big cookie was uneaten. The atmosphere gives a good vibe. The woman handling or order was super kind. We were able to have some good conversations with her.

We ordered the BBQ mixed platter for two, and overall, everything was good. The brisket was a bit on the dry side, but the sauces were great, and the sides were delicious. The beers were also a standout—unique and really good. The service was friendly and fast, which made the experience even better. Definitely a solid BBQ spot, though I would’ve liked the brisket to be a bit juicier.

I visited Maple Block Meat Co when it first opened years ago and I was impressed by their smoked meats and sides. Recently, I decided to give it another try for lunch during Dine LA. The restaurant has expanded its outdoor seating area, which is great for bringing my dog along, but it also means parking is harder to find in the busy intersection of Sepulveda & Washington Blvd. For the Dine LA $15 lunch menu, there were 3 options to choose from. My wife and I opted for the 1/4 rack of baby back ribs and kale salad with chicken. We also added a quarter pound of brisket. When the food arrived, the fries were completely cold. The ribs had a good flavor but the meat was a bit tough and chewy. I'd rate the ribs an 8.5 out of 10. The brisket was the highlight, very flavorful and tender, a solid 10 out of 10. The kale salad had lots of ingredients but lacked flavor and the small portion of dressing wasn't memorable. It's 8 out of 10. The service was average. The waitress was friendly, but busy with other tables. When I checked the bill, I noticed that they charged me $11 for the brisket instead of $10 as shown on the menu. I pointed out the mistake to the waitress, who said it was a system error and corrected it for me. She didn’t seem to know why the price was different on the menu and the receipt. This made me wonder if they overcharged for other items as well. Overall, I would say Maple Block Meat Co is a decent place to have lunch, but a bit pricey. The meat quality is good, but not consistent. The service is friendly, but not attentive. The bill issue was a turn-off and made me question their honesty. Parking could be a hassle during peak hours. I'd recommend Maple Block Co for the brisket!

Craving BBQ, I decided to make a pit stop at Maple Block on my way home. I ordered the pork ribs, jalapeño cheddar sausage, and sides of mac & cheese, fries, coleslaw, and beans. First off, I really liked the laid-back vibe of the place—very chill, with friendly and attentive staff that made me feel welcome. Service was quick, which I appreciated, but the food itself was just okay in my opinion. The ribs, while meaty, were from mature pork rather than baby back, and they arrived warm but not hot. The seasoning felt a bit off for my taste—almost like it leaned toward a Mexican-inspired profile, especially the beans, which definitely didn’t have that classic Southern BBQ feel. The sausage was decent, but overall, the flavors didn’t quite hit the mark for me. That said, it’s a cool local spot with good energy. While the food didn’t wow me, I could see how others might enjoy it. Worth a visit if you’re in the area and want to try something a little different from the usual BBQ fare.

I've been waiting months to try this spot. Unfortunately, it did not live up to my expectations. The food is made with high quality ingredients. You can tell they make a lot of items from scratch. But nearly everything tasted bland. The meats have almost no smoke flavor. That combined with super high prices plus an underwhelming house barbecue sauce, and you have a place that misses the mark. I also asked for the hot BBQ sauce more than once, and it never arrived at my table. The chips and guacamole were pretty good though. Albeit a small portion. So this place might have decent Cali-Mex options. But not my preferred spot for BBQ.

We paid around $50 for two people, only to get seated on a table in the cold corner, with cold/almost-cold served meat. We ordered plates. The experience was just utterly awful. The server was maybe just too busy to serve us. We waited 20 mins to order and another 20 mins to check. Disaster. Definitely the worst experience I ever had.

We decided to stop for one of their micheladas and some tacos and they gave me a taco with the TINYEST amount of meat. I went and asked about it and the guy told me that’s how they come. My husbands definitely did not look the same. Horrible Service.
