Good little hole in the wall spot. The restaurant is very small so it’s good for date night but not a larger group of people going out. The menu had so many options it was difficult to choose what we wanted. The sushi was pretty good. We got a lot of fried rolls and some nigiri! The service it’s great everyone was very friendly. No cocktail options but they do serve beer and sake.

We had miso soup, gyozas, dragon roll and (…) kiss roll. Soup is great, gyozas are a 6 and dragon roll was our favorite. Happy 2025!!

The sushi rolls were amazing, especially for the price! We enjoyed the Thai tea, as well. Service was fast and efficient. There's very limited seating so I wouldn't recommend this place for a large group, unless you're ordering takeout.

What an absolute gem of a sushi house! Great location right by the prominade Seats were comfy and the atmosphere was wonderful The waitress was very kind and attentive. And the sushi, omg the sushi. I had the tsunami fushion and it was delicious. A brilliant and original combination of flavors, just the right portion, and it looked like a work of art. Very reasonably priced as well! Thank you Mon Roll, will definitely be back 🍣💜

Absolutely delicious! Went on a Saturday for lunch and ordered some sashimi and rolls. Extremely delicious and was pleased with everything we ordered. The Swiss roll was one of our favourites, recommended by our waitress. Even the gentleman at the store down the way had said it was a good choice for us to try as a local restaurant. Thank you to our waitress and the amazing sushi masters for our meal.

Fantastic!! My family (2 teens included) all LOVED every bite. We all said it’s the best sushi we had. Loved all the fancy warm rolls. The candy roll was incredible, sweet and spicy. Service was very fast and super friendly. So happy we choose this place!

We highly recommend: -Maui-Maui Roll -Rainbow Dragon Roll -Langostino Lobster Roll -Paradise Roll -Exotic Roll -Pink Lady Also, the amount of sauce on the rolls was perfect; not too much, not too little - juuust right! Give Mon Roll House Sushi a try - I would be surprised if you didn't like it!

They went above and beyond to make our visit special, surprising my family member with a delightful birthday celebration that included a beautifully presented dessert and a heartfelt song. Very nice late night dinner spot. We arrived Santa Monica 7:30 on a Tuesday night. There’s not too many places are open. We wanna have sushi and we chose here to eat. We ordered a sashimi combo, all the fishes are fresh and delicious. My fav are salmon and yellowtail. The house salad and edamame appetizers are yummy too.

This place has amazing rolls. Really good. Sushi isn’t top tier but very good for the price. Can’t find anywhere in Santa Monica that has better quality sushi/rolls at this price point. The happy hour 3-7pm is extremely generous. 50% off nigiri sushi and 8.50 on most rolls. 2.50 sapporo draft beer! Just amazing. As a Santa Monica resident I can state with certainty it’s a waste of time to look elsewhere. Strongly recommend!!!

It’s a little restaurant near Santa Monica downtown. We ordered shrimp tempura, edamame, and mussels. Shrimp tempura was lightly breaded and perfectly cooked. Edamame was also prepared and seasoned well. Mussels were however a little tough and chewy, difficult to eat really. I personally do not recommend mussels, unless you’re a fan of jaw exercise. Staff were courteous and service was great.

I expected a traditional udon made with shoyu instead of miso soup. I wished that it was clearly stated in the menu so people could be aware before ordering.

Not a good in person place. 3pm “closes” randomly thru day. Place is not a vibe. Better to order delivery and there are better spots on Wilshire - service isn’t quite there.
