The restaurant was covered with shades but the warming California sunshine still effortlessly fills the entire space. For a very long time I loath how heavy brunch feels to me with all the unnecessary and repetitive cheese, butter and sugar in the morning. Great white is the first that changed my mind and Mood is undoubtedly the second.

Had a fantastic brunch at Mood! The Breakfast Burger was the highlight—perfectly cooked, flavorful, and satisfying. The ambiance was trendy yet relaxed, making it a great spot to start the day. Service was quick, though one of the staff members had a bit of an attitude, which took away from the otherwise great experience. Still, the food and overall vibe make this place worth visiting. I’d definitely come back!
What a fantastic place! The menu is packed with delicious options, and every dish we ordered was an absolute masterpiece—both in taste and presentation. It was almost impossible to choose because I wanted everything! The coffee was excellent, and the service was top-notch—attentive, welcoming, and genuinely friendly. The atmosphere is perfect for a relaxed breakfast or brunch with friends or family. We will definitely be back soon! Highly recommend this gem to anyone looking for a great start to their day.
Exceptional Spot for a Delicious Breakfast! This place is fantastic, and I highly recommend it for your morning coffee and a treat. We ordered Eggs Benedict with salmon, Syrniki with mango custard, Classic Syrniki, Eggs with green quinoa, and Avocado toast with homemade salmon. Of course, we also got coffee, which was great. Every dish was beautifully presented and tasted amazing. I especially recommend the syrniki—they not only look great but are absolutely delicious, especially the ones with mango sauce!
Just like typical brunch place around the area, weekend's peak time so reservation is extremely recommended. Unfortunately in my experience, my reservation didn't go through for some reason. Fortunately the lovely attendants were so accommodating that they tried their best finding us first available seats amidst the super busy venue. Took 15 minutes-ish wait under unfriendly sunny LA, but we ended up at perfect seats. The venue's design and vibe were such entertainment, blending a mixture of greenery touch with gorgeous pastel colors. We started with their Crab Arancini, which I earlier thought bit expensive for the portion, till the generous crab filling got revealed. Not overly greasy and so flavorful especially served with the luscious sauce, it came as great opening to our brunch. Their 'Hash Brown Your Way', featuring hash brown patties with poached eggs and our choice of extra protein for which we opted for smoked salmon. The dish was kinda bringing together different elements of breakfast favorites as it was also complemented by smashed avo and refreshing salad. The beet hummus sauce made Mood's version being peculiar and stood out. Although overall it's more like rosti than common hash brown for me, I love it! Another egg-based menu we went for was their Shakshuka, which surprisingly turned to be the highlight of the table. We all loved how the tomatoes weren't overpowering the overall dish and the garlic touch in the sauce made it so delicate. Yolks were flawlessly runny and the dish was just simply amazing to enjoy with the sourdough slices on the side. I was proven wrong being skeptical about Mood in the beginning, thinking that most people were just curious about the place being new and cutesy, as the dishes turned out beyond expectations!
I’m in love with this place! I dream of the strawberry mocha and sryniki! The tartufo scramble was INCREDIBLE. There’s nothing on the menu I wouldn’t recommend. The staff is so friendly and the atmosphere is really nice. They had fresh tulips on each table which gave it a special touch
From the outside, it’s giving “just a box,” but step inside and—boom—a cozy little garden café that instantly lifts your mood. Chill vibes, delicious coffee, and the kind of setting that makes you want to stay all afternoon. But the real star? The SYRNIKI Ukrainian pancakes. So light, so fluffy, they basically floated me straight to heaven. I’ve been here twice already and honestly? It’s giving forever favorite. The food is fresh, the vibes are peaceful, and it feels like you’re brunching in someone’s secret garden.
We had a lovely breakfast at Mood in LA! The atmosphere was relaxed and stylish, making it a perfect spot to start the day. The breakfast was delicious—everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Service was friendly and attentive without being overbearing. Definitely a place we’d return to for a quality breakfast experience!
Absolutely a 5 star place. Atmosphere and music is amazing and service was top notch. Its been years since I've tried a good eggs Benedict and It was so delicious yet light I wanted to order the second plate. Steak and eggs were also good, very low salt and still tasty as well as other dishes. Loved how accommodating the servers were. Will definitely try then next time.
Amazing food, great service! The servers were very welcoming and nice, and that is one of the most important parts in hospitality business that I appreciate the most. Everything is made with heart and creativity - food, drinks, interior. Special thank you for bringing RAF coffee to Los Angeles! I missed that creamy texture a lot and now I have a place to get it again. The drink menu didn’t give us a chance to have just one drink each. We wanted to try it all and got 4 different coffees for two people! We will definitely come back again ❤️✨
What a hidden gem. How did we miss it before. The food and the service are top notch. Karolina was very attentive and professional. We’d be back very soon! P.S. And thank you for changing our silverware before the second dishes. It puts you on another level, since many restaurants, let alone cafes, don’t really bother.
The MOOD is my little escape, whether it’s for breakfast or lunch, it never disappoints. Everything on the menu is delicious, and everyone I’ve brought here has loved it just as much as I do. My absolute favorites are the sirniki with mango purée and the avocado toast — both perfection! The atmosphere is amazing, and I always leave already looking forward to coming back. Highly recommend this spot! 🫶✨
Had lunch at Mood in LA — absolutely loved it! The atmosphere is calm and cozy, perfect for a relaxing break in the middle of the day. The Chicken Kyiv was delicious — crispy crust, juicy meat, and that buttery filling inside was pure heaven. The truffle mashed potatoes were creamy and rich with the perfect truffle aroma. Everything tasted fresh and homemade. Such a great spot for lunch — I’ll definitely be back!
This is a great place for brunch or a light lunch — cozy, stylish, and without unnecessary noise. The menu is diverse, with options for both meat lovers and those who prefer greens. Special respect to our waitress Sofia — she is very friendly and does everything to make your visit perfect.
We really enjoyed our visit to Mood. The atmosphere was very pleasant and cozy, making it a great place to relax and enjoy your time. The food was delicious, everything we tried was fresh and well prepared, and the service was friendly and attentive. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely come back. Highly recommend this place!
My favorite food in town. Eastern European dishes and some popular brunch options. Service is always top tier. Beautiful slavic girls🫶🏼 I’ve had almost all the positions on the menu. My favorite are: shakshuka, benedict, kiev coutlet, crapes with mango mouse, chia pudding, chocolate cheesecake, dragon matcha.
One of the BEST restaurants in LA. Nothing I seen in LA can compare to this place. Everything here is thoughtful, starting with the tables and ending with how the food is placed. All dishes is beyond delicious with fast impeccable sevice. The waiters are very professional, friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is like in a garden and the decorations are aesthetically pleasing: the plants, tables, chairs, glasses and plates. I would 100% recommend this restaurant to everyone. (I do suggest to get a reservation before hand because the wait without a reservation is long.)
I would like to share my experience visiting this café and say that I was pleasantly surprised. We received excellent service, and the food was outstanding! Everything was very delicious and prepared quickly. The staff was friendly and professional. I highly recommend everyone to visit this place to enjoy the best gastronomic experience. Special thanks to Ekaterina for her excellent service. She was very welcoming, friendly, and attentive.
10/10! Quick service, great drinks, and a unique selection. I loved that I could really taste the matcha in my matcha latte, yet the drink was still perfectly creamy. The food is excellent. There are tables for seating, but it’s better to reserve in advance if you don’t want to wait in line. I came here on a whim, but I’ll definitely be back when I’m in the area. My friends highly recommended trying the syrnik. The staff is polite and welcoming. Hostess Kate arranged the best table for us, and we’re very grateful for that.
This was honestly one of the best brunches I’ve ever had - not just in LA, but anywhere in the world. The food was absolutely incredible, every dish was packed with flavor and beautifully done. Service was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Everything came out super fast, but without feeling rushed. Such a lovely experience from start to finish - I’ll definitely be back.
I visited Mood LA and really enjoyed the experience. The food was delicious and fresh, and overall everything was well prepared. The service was good and attentive — the staff made us feel welcome and checked in at the right moments. The atmosphere deserves a special mention: very cozy, modern, and comfortable, a great place to relax and enjoy a meal. One small thing to note — if you prefer your steak served very hot, it’s a good idea to mention it in advance. Mine came more warm than hot. Overall, it was a lovely experience, and I would definitely recommend
Such a lovely place! We came here for breakfast and absolutely loved everything — from the food to the atmosphere and the service. The syrniki were incredible — soft, delicate, perfectly cooked, and not too sweet. You can really tell they’re homemade and made with care. The rest of the food was just as delicious and beautifully presented, and the tea was served in the cutest teapot and cups. But what truly made the experience special was the service. The staff were so kind, warm, and attentive — always smiling, helpful, and genuinely caring about the guests. It made us feel very welcome and relaxed. A perfect spot for a cozy breakfast or brunch with great food and a wonderful vibe. We’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommended 🤍
This is a very cute and cozy place where you can find both Syrniki and Chicken Kyiv, which already makes it feel special. It feels relaxed and welcoming, with a nice balance between comfort food and a modern café atmosphere. Menu overview: Breakfast is served all day and makes up a big part of the menu. Most breakfast dishes cost between $17 and $22. There are classic options like avocado toast for $18, eggs benedict for $17, shakshuka and humshuka for $19, and omelettes starting from $12. If you want something more filling, there is a breakfast burger for $22 and steak and eggs for $28. Syrniki are available in two versions: classic for $17 and with mango custard and berries for $19. Sweet options such as pancakes, waffles, French toast, and chia pudding are usually priced between $14 and $16. Starters and salads are good if you want something lighter. Mezze items like hummus, falafel, and baba ghanoush cost between $10 and $16, and a mezze set is $25. Salads range from $17 to $27, depending on the ingredients. Main dishes are mostly in the $24-28 range. Chicken Kyiv costs $25, schnitzel and steak sandwich are $24, steak and fries is $28, and soups like tomato soup or gazpacho are $14. Sides such as fries or sweet potato fries cost between $8 and $12. Desserts are fairly priced, mostly around $10-14. One of the special desserts is the Upside Down Napoleon, which costs $14. Drinks: Coffee starts at $4 and goes up to about $8 for specialty drinks. Matcha, chai, tea, and lemonades are in the $6-9 range. Cocktails cost $14-16. Wine by the glass is usually $14-19, bottles start from around $45, and beer is $9. The food looks really nice, with restaurant-style presentation. Everything is well plated and looks appealing. Taste-wise, there is a bit of room for improvement. The syrniki were good and came with condensed milk, sour cream, and berries. I liked them, but they are not sweet and the texture is a little uneven. The Chicken Kyiv was slightly dry this time, though that might not always be the case. From the special menu, we tried the Upside Down Napoleon. It’s served in a glass with layers of cream and pastry. It’s not very traditional, so it may not be for everyone, but it’s nice to see the place trying something different. The atmosphere is friendly and cozy, the service is great, and the interior is beautiful. One small downside is that on sunny days, if you sit on the couch near the big opening windows, it can get quite hot and the sun can be uncomfortable. Overall, this is a lovely place with a wide menu, nice presentation, and good service. With a bit more consistency in flavors, it could easily become a go-to spot.
I’m so happy we found this spot in the neighborhood! It’s absolutely gorgeous, and both times we’ve sat outdoors on their bright, airy front patio — such a lovely setting. The food is outstanding. The schnitzel is a must for me — crisp, flavorful, and served with kimchi, salad, and hummus. It pairs perfectly with fries if you’re down to double up on fried for the day. We weren’t as impressed with the syrniki with mango custard and berries — they looked amazing but weren’t as flavorful as expected. We’ve had the steak sandwich before, which was good, and I’m excited to try the steak and eggs next time. Great portions, great service, and a beautiful atmosphere. People definitely get dressed up here for their Insta shots. We’ll definitely be back.
This is a great restaurant with very delicious and high-quality food. The dishes were fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The service was excellent, and the staff was friendly and attentive. I would especially like to thank our waitress Elena, who was kind, professional, and helpful. I will definitely come back and recommend this restaurant to my friends.
Perfect location right in the heart of Los Angeles! 🌆 The atmosphere at Mood is stylish yet relaxed, making it the perfect spot for both lunch and dinner. The food is truly delicious, with fresh flavors and great presentation. Service is fast and attentive, and the mocktails are a real highlight creative, refreshing, and beautifully served. Definitely a place worth visiting again! Grtzz from Amsterdam 💛
O Mi Gee, the mood was set when I walked through the door and was met by Kate (hostess) pictured! She was so welcoming even though it was so busy, that touched my heart! Then the food…O Mi Gee, so many healthy yet delicious options to choose from and reasonably priced I might add! I was seated in a quiet setting and happy about that, outside seating area downstairs where there was a slight breeze and the sunshine hitting my face just right! In other words, the ambiance was all that too…the architecture and decor combined! I will visit again before heading off to Amsterdam to live for a bit!
Absolutely beautiful place with an amazing atmosphere. The food is some of the most delicious I’ve had in LA, the coffee is perfect, and the desserts are next level. Everything was prepared quickly without sacrificing quality. Katya took great care of us, and she was incredibly pleasant and cool. Honestly the best service I’ve experienced in the US. My favorite spot in LA so far, I love it!
The mezze platter was the top plate - it was so amazing. I really liked my shakshouka. Great service and beautiful restaurant.
Fantastic spot! The food was incredibly tasty, fresh, flavorful, and prepared with real care. Service was quick and professional. Big thanks to the manager Ekaterina she’s very welcoming, attentive, and genuinely makes sure guests are happy. The kitchen team did an excellent job. Wonderful atmosphere, top-notch service, and truly great food. Definitely coming back and highly recommend this place!
We were here for breakfast today. Great place, great service, waiters are ready to help at any moment. When we arrived, there were no free tables, but we didn't have to wait long. The dishes are very tasty, we really liked their breakfasts, I was looking for delicious syrniki. When we are in Los Angeles again, we will definitely come here again!
A wonderful place to start the morning on 3rd Street. The staff were polite and welcoming, and the mocha was delicious—rich, balanced, and not too sweet. They even added vegetables to our plain omelet and customized it exactly as we wanted. The atmosphere is calm and inviting, making it a great spot to relax or host a larger gathering. Highly recommended.
Amazing experience! The food was absolutely delicious, everything tasted fresh and perfectly prepared. The service was outstanding - triendly, attentive, and welcoming. The atmosphere is beautiful and cozy, making it a perfect place to relax and enjoy your time. Highly recommend!
Went on 2/14 to have brunch with my sister (birthday brunch!) and we had the best sever ever Sophia! We were in crazy traffic and were seated at 3:40. Sophia was more than understanding and treated us with such care. Furthermore, she was an absolute dream, didn’t rush us and gave great recommendations. This girl deserves her props. Would come back simply based off the services she provided :).
I really love this place. The food is always good, the atmosphere is nice and comfortable, and the service is consistently great. It’s one of those spots you can always count on. Also, thank you to Solomiia who served me today - she was very friendly and attentive. I’ll definitely be back.
We visited Mood with my friend for breakfast, and everything about the experience was absolutely wonderful—from the warm welcome at the host stand to the flavors and atmosphere. We came on a Monday, and the restaurant was completely full on the first floor. We were seated upstairs, which was still comfortable, though I personally prefer the first floor. We ordered the ricotta pancakes and the gravlax eggs Benedict. I also chose the Tropical Mood cocktail, which was outstanding. The ingredients were blended perfectly, creating a balance between sweet and sour—refreshing, not overly sugary, and so enjoyable that I immediately wanted another one. The eggs Benedict were served on crispy hash browns, which made the dish especially unique. The flowing yolk added richness to the flavors, and the house-cured gravlax was exceptional—something you cannot buy or easily recreate anywhere else. That deep, refined flavor alone is a reason to keep coming back. The ricotta pancakes were truly out of this world. The combination of fluffy ricotta with the thin, crisp pancake and the unique tropical sauce created a dish unlike anything else I’ve ever tried. I will definitely return to explore more of the menu, because this is the kind of place that leaves no one indifferent. Thank you so much, Mood—I highly recommend it!

Everything was amazing! The food was delicious, the café was very clean, and the service was friendly and attentive. Great atmosphere and beautifully presented dishes. We really enjoyed our visit and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!

Amazing food and service! Atmosphere is great! This place is so aesthetic and cute. Definitely returning here to eat some delicious food!🩷
Definitely one of the great places to have your breakfast. Recommend 🤩 The pancakes was delicious The croque madame was good (forget to take pic was hungry🤣) but it’s heavy meal. The avocado toast was great too.
On a Saturday morning rush, was able to get a table with a 10 min wait. It’s a cute outdoor seating patio vibes. Very cute, welcoming by the staff. Tried their iced latte, syrinke and hamshuka. Good food, it came out fast. Although the toast in hamshuka could have been softer. Parking is on the street or right behind there is a parking garage.
Really nice breakfast spot in West Hollywood with a cute, cozy interior and plenty of healthy options. The avocado toast, syrniki, and steak & eggs are some of the favorites here — flavorful and beautifully presented. The food was good overall, though not quite as amazing as the hype. Still, great vibes, colorful plates, and a pleasant place to start the day.
You have to flavor your food. Then it will be palatable. If you come hungry then I suggest to order a few items to satisfy that hole. The match was bomb. Definitely the Best Match in all of LA. I got the regular matcha with oak and a strawberry matcha with whole milk. Steak eggs and salad so yummy ( make sure to put salt, pepper and hot sauce -you’re welcome 🫡) Do Not get the French toast or pancakes you Will Be disappointed! Solid 4 stars for the servers were nice and accommodating as it was paaaaaacked on Sunday . Arrive early they close at 3p. Great for photo ops and finally good brunch in LA!

If you feel like a frantic and rushed mood, then this spot is for u! When they seated us they whispered "u have the table for 1 hour" and they were constantly trying to rush us out from 1/2 hour into our breakfast. Unbelievable!! I don't care how busy you are, that's one way to never get a return customer. I had the truffle egg and toast and asked the toast be on the side so it doesn't get soggy. She frowned at my request and confirmed it won't be soggy. It was soggy. My husband likes his eggs Benedict. But we'll never go back.
The food was okay.. a bit overpriced imo. Very watery and sugary matcha drink being almost $10. But the most frustrating thing is the service was so bad. We got seated 30 mins after our reservation time. I understand it’s their busier time of the week but still expecting better. After we seated and ordered, no water, no cutlery, on our table. We had to ask several times. The server never checked in on our table. Even though the food came out quick but it was just barely warm. Overall, not worth a visit. Considering what other reviews are saying, I’ve set my expectations high. The cilantro has the longest stems I’ve ever seen in a restaurant, and the crab omelet doesn’t even have real crab in it, imitation crab only
