Opinions de Prank Los Angeles
We had a meet up with other gamers before opening and I loved the place! They set out food, including sweet and a spicy boneless chicken and some cheeseburger sliders along with a salad. The food was great! There was no table service but the bartender and staff were very friendly. The place was clean and decorated very tastefully, we sat outside and enjoyed the amazing Los Angeles winter weather. 😁 I look forward to my next trip to LA to visit again.
We recently hosted our first cocktail party in LA, and Dave from Prank was an absolute angel! He supported us from start to finish, offering thoughtful suggestions on how to make the event even more unique and special. I had SO many questions, and both he and his team addressed every single one with patience, care, and attention to detail. It’s clear that Dave was born to host events. That level of guidance makes all the difference when you’re navigating nerves and logistics: It’s exactly what you want in a venue partner. Prank was an excellent choice for our event. The location is fantastic, the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, and the drinks and food were outstanding. The space worked perfectly for hosting, it always felt lively and full, and the team made the experience seamless. Thank you so much. We will absolutely recommend Prank and keep it on our radar for future events in LA!!
Wow, what an incredible place I stumbled upon! I was genuinely blown away by the food quality here. I initially thought it was just a typical bar serving basic bites, but this place exceeded all my expectations! The vibe and atmosphere are simply fantastic. I ordered the chicken, and it was absolutely delicious—the quality and flavor were outstanding! I can't recommend this spot enough!
This bar is a perfect blend of modern style interior design and nostalgic tunes. They've nailed the trifecta: delicious, well-crafted drinks, unbelievably tender chicken, and a DJ spinning all the best 2010s hits when I was there. The atmosphere is vibrant and fun. A must-visit!
A walk up bar in the center of dtla. The atmosphere is chill, staff is great, food and drinks are high quality (organic), service is great. Indoor and outdoor seating with plenty of parking option's. The burger was beyond delicious and I loved my salad.
Prank! La’s like first walk up bar or something like that. So fun, had a great brunch date here. Seating was quick, I think we were early because the crowd came a few minutes later but it was already looking pretty busy. You order at the bar, it’s hectic, so bring patience! The bartenders are quick with orders though, very professional. We grabbed the mimosa bucket to prep for our meal. I definitely recommend maybe four people to a bucket unless your thirsty, no judgment, we’re adults. I was thirsty apparently, we finished our champagne w ease and the food paired so well. I had the steak omelette and my partner had the French toast. I recommend getting the steak medium for the omelette, which I think was my only mistake. My mistake not theirs so I won’t let that impact this rating. I had a great time. The server even noticed a wobbly table and immediately had it fixed for another customer seated nearby. Highly recommend for a daytime date or even meeting, I saw a mix of professionally dressed and casual attendees throughout the space. Great atmosphere and though it is on the street, it’s not too loud for a great conversation.
Always delicious. Friendly neighborhood service. Love the chicken and sauce.
Nice place, good food & coffee! Had the Avocado Toast, French Toast, Organic fried chicken sandwich, Lucky Dog and a Coffee. Everything was delicious; made well, good flavor (avocado toast needs salt but otherwise it was good). Coffee was surprisingly good too (didn't expect flavor and not watered down). The place is nice inside, pretty & clean. Staff was friendly. Parking available in the lot across street (other lots close by) or street parking.
Omg so freaking cute! Stumbled upon this place after searching “Happy Hour Near Me” on Google Maps. Yall I walked here and so freaking glad I did! The food!! The food!! Restaurants have been letting me DOWN in LA since I moved here, but this place, oh yesssss I’ll be back!! Food was delish! Staff was friendly and helpful and the restaurant is such a vibe. Open seating, with a patio area and generally open concept. I had the sliders 🙌🏾 so glad I did and the fries are chef’s kiss amazing!! They even had a dope live band playing reggae vibes today (On Friday)!!
Nice corner spot. We arrived early to be able to have an outside table. Dinner, I guess, starts at 4 p.m. - I am not used to having to order at a bar. Typically, waiters come to your table and take your order. So, yeah, I prefer that way of dining. Food was good though. My fiancé enjoyed their jalapeño burger. He said it was good. He also ordered a glass of Chardonnay. You know, Chardonnay is Chardonnay, nothing special about it. I had their vegan nachos, which were delicious too. Tacos were good too. There weren’t a lot of people for it to be a Saturday. Nice to have dinner without a lot of noise. We had dinner before heading to the Dodger game, which is the reason we arrived early. We will probably return at a later time just to see their full ambience when there are a lot of people, just to experience the full potential of Prank Bar. Not to mention, I would like to try out a few more items on their menu. Speaking of the menu, everything is very affordable. Be prepared to pay $20 for parking across the street or down the street. Which we opted out of. No way we’re paying that to eat for an hour. Park on the street, cheaper.
I almost gave this place a one-star for how irritated I was when we first arrived. We were a party of four, and we told the guy at the front, and he said "oh, we have a wait" I said well, how long is the wait? His reply was "Ionno, whenever someone leaves." I was ready to turn around and go someplace else and quickly rate them a 1 star. BUT the dude was being sarcastic (I hate sarcasm), and we were sat within 5 mins. When we were seated, we scanned the QR code to view the menu and had to order our food and drinks at the bar. Hubby and I decided to get the el pastor nachos, blue tortilla steak tacos, a mojito, and a Passion flower. The drinks were ready within seconds, and our food arrived within 15 mins. The tacos were delicious! I’m sad we only ordered one for each. The nachos were pretty tasty as well. I really enjoyed my Passion flower drink, but they messed up on hubby’s drink, but he said it was still good. Overall, Prank is a chill walk-up bar that offers tasty bar food and tasty drinks. If I’m back in DTLA, I’ll for sure come back for more tacos!
Wonderful, friendly staff and yummy food make L.A.'s first walk up bar a fun place to go. Indoor and outdoor seating with a private area upstairs with it's own bar too. Go here before a show at Crypto down the street. You can park your car right across the street in a parking structure too. Management, bar staff and security are all amazing people!
Tonight was my first time stopping in and we opted for dinner instead of drinks so my review is for the food and experience only, not the cocktails since I didn’t partake. I regret not stopping in sooner, it really was better than I was expecting since I thought it was just a bar prior to stopping in, but I was wrong the food is really tasty. I live very close so consider it a local place and glad I finally tried it. It’s really open and has very tall ceilings with indoor and outdoor seating as well as many TVs near the bar. They don’t offer table service so you place your order at the bar (menu accessible through QR code) and they bring it to your table. I chose the Mango Ceviche to start and it was great. Very authentic and would be something I would order again. For my entree I chose the Chilean Seabass and for $32 it really is a great deal because it was truly very good. I have paid a lot more for worse Seabass at other LA restaurants. I would sub out the asparagus on the dish however since they’re huge and didn’t taste as great as the other parts but still I really liked it and plan to order it again. For the side I chose the sautéed broccoli and it was a great addition to the fish. The egg on top really made it. Overall I would recommend to anyone looking for a good casual meal, especially before a game or show considering Staples and LA Live are walking distance.

Solid Food Good Atmosphere And GREAT Staff. They Make All Their Regulars Feel Welcome And Taken Care Of - From The Manger Down To The Bussers And Barbacks.!!!!!! Love coming here
Amazing bar in the heart of South Park. Solid food options and a seasonally changing menu. Great outdoor patio for SoCal weather and indoor spaces for private parties. Solid liquor line up from lesser known boutique spirits to the mainstays. Friendly bartenders that know your drink and walking distance to Crypto Area/ LA Live / Convention Center. Every neighborhood should have a place like Prank.
Great place on the corner, and not too far from the stadium. Definitely has a neighborhood bar vibe but more upscale. Service was great and bartenders were very attentive. Great place to meet friends for drinks!

First come, first served. Best to come with a friend and grab some drinks. I love their mystery random drink every day. The vibe is amazing. Downside: no parking, so you have to find street parking. Recommend Uber there if it is a Friday-Saturday night.
Honestly I feel like they have the best ravioli I’ve ever tasted, went for happy hour the drinks were solid, the food was really good. I would give them five stars but their math on the tip was so wrong, lol 10/10 would recommend because the food was all good and the drinks were great but do your own math, I tip 20% and they were off with there math

Labeled “LA’s first walk up bar”, which was confusing at first but I think just means there is patio seating & open walls leading to the bar. The bartender was able to put together a couple of really good mocktails which I appreciated.
Didn't care for the service, but the food was yummy. The caulflower wings were exceptional! Any time you make a vegan dish, you need to be sure it'll be tasty and this place delivered. The texture and flavor were out of this world. The drinks could've been better. :/ Also, why do yall have mismatched forks- it makes no sense. Finally, when I tried to order an appetizer they ran out of, the server recommended a steak entree dish which would've cost nearly 20 dollars more than the appetizer I was eyeing. I didn't appreciate that. 😕 The ambience was cute, but crowded. I miiiiight be back. IDK, yet.

I guess the Prank was on us because the food was horrible. I’m sure my favorite thing with these 4 items I ordered was the dipping sauces for the calamari. It was on the way to the stadium so we wanted to grab a quick bite before the game. Unfortunately it was not worth the money at all. Fries were cut fresh but were not cooked well. Just sad.
