Lately I've been ordering the Italian Herb Chicken w/Baked Potato and the ultimate Salad Bar add. I ask for the entree to be made at the end of my meal and take it home for a later meal. Good selection in salad Bar... chicken wings still overdone, and taco meat way too much liquid. Ckam Chiwder good, salad offerings crisp and fresh. Entree was okay ... decent portion and just slightly overcooked, but tasty.

I’d been eyeing this sizzler which is close to my place for a long while now and finally my friend recommended we go so I took advantage of the idea and it kinda blew away any expectations I had. First off I love the look of the restaurant because it reminds me of my childhood it seemed like these types of diner/not just diner food places were extremely popular back then. You know places like TGI Friday’s, Red Lobster, Olive Garden, that had all you can eat salad bars (which sizzler has) and build your own dessert (which sizzler also has). Just the look of the place is classic and makes me feel like I’m out with my parents and I’m 11 years old again! I ordered the 6 oz steak and lobster with a baked potato and sour cream and they served it to me with garlic bread on wonder bread which was interesting. The steak was not half bad the lobster was a little suspicious but it was still pretty good! The price seemed high I ended up paying 32 bucks which seems like a lot for this kinda place but whatever I had a good time and the waitress let us get free soft serve (I dunno if that’s part of the deal) and a coffee. I liked the atmosphere and there were a lot of people around too! There are a lot of shady people on the street next door (a tent village filled with drug addicts) I rode my bike and locked it near the entrance and me and my friend literally saw (from the window) someone sneak up to my bike and I ran out and moved it near the valet who was nice enough to watch it for the rest of our meal. I recommend if you go, stop by the shatto 39 bowling alley next door for an old school family fun night out!!

On Friday April 2nd 2021. I came to sizzler for the salad bar. They told me due to covid-19. There is no salad bar for a whole month. So I got the steak and lobster. The steak was harder than a battery ram that the police uses to knock down a drug dealers door. The lobster was rubbery and chewy and cold. Just like chewing gum that you'll find on the sidewalk. The customer service was terrible. I will never come to another sizzler and waste my money and time. The wine glass has so many spots on it it was unbelievable. Sizzler is no longer what I remember it to be. I was very disappointed.
