Cute, lovely little coffee shop in Chinatown. A group of friends and I checked out the coffee shop last weekend. The maximum capacity of the place is 5, and there’s no indoor seating. We ordered coffees and checked out the stationery while waiting for our drinks. I got a cold brew with oat milk, and it was great! Next time I’ll try their signature Asian-inspried drinks. Tips - there’s a bakery next door called Flouring Cake Shop. Their chewy cookie was a perfect pairing for the cold brew.

Cute coffeeshop and a welcome addition to the Chinatown scene. Takeout only but there are some benches outside if you want to chill. We had an iced cortado ($5) and a pandan matcha drink ($7), both were excellent. A few select tees / sweaters / stationary thanks to Paper Plant Co sharing the space. All in all a great spot!

tiny adorable space with espresso and matcha. there's a seating area next door with a handful of tables but inside is not built for lounging. they also have a small selection of candles, books, and other assorted items for sale. really dig the vibe. great spot to grab a bev before checking out the galleries across the street.

Been wanting to come here for the longest time! I'm super glad I finally did! I ordered their Dodger Blue Milk with Matcha!!! 10/10 for me! The place is small, but I love the little shop they have inside, and just the logo itself is super cute! I did get my stamp card because I definitely see myself coming back!

Still giving it a 5 stars because they seem like a solid coffee shop and service is great! but their iced americano is super diluted… maybe it was just one mishap so I’ll give benefit of the doubt but I felt like I was drinking water. Their prices are super affordable and really cute shop hidden in Chinatown

First time here, and cannot say enough positive things about this location. Parking can be tricky, but otherwise very small but full of so much goodness! Very clean, small menu but lots of options and combinations. Friendly staff. Suggested a drink, and oh man it was one of the best drinks I’ve had in awhile. Lots of cool stationary items, inks, papers, stickers, cards. Will return and highly recommend. Good prices too.

Great coffee at an affordable price! The taste is excellent, and the drinks are prepared quickly. They also have a wide selection of extra items for sale, which is a nice bonus. Definitely worth a visit!

Really cool little coffee shop inside a small Japanese cute gift shop. They have some interesting seasonal flavors of drinks, and it was awesome to be able to get so many with matcha. The thank you latte is a must try: you can taste the Smokey lapsing suchong tea mixed with the coffee! It’s cool that they support Chinatown but the parking sucks here big time; we drove around for 10 mins trying to find a spot. It was worth it though!

Cute little hole-in-the-wall sort of coffee shop / stationary store! My drink was really excellent and the staff was lovely. I had asked for a recommendation on a drink and they picked one I was very happy with! Unfortunately I’m entirely forgetting what drink it was, but it was one of the summer specials with a strawberry milk. Drinks are priced similarly to other coffee shops around - which means feeling slightly overpriced, but not more so than others. Inside space is very small so no indoor seating with very few seats outside, so probably best to plan for grab and go. If it’s a busy time of day, parking may be difficult and you’ll likely have to park a few blocks away. I was there early on a weekend and had no trouble parking a short walk away. Would very much recommend stopping by here if you get the chance!

This is a teeny tiny space which would already be small enough for one business, but it’s two. Thank You coffee shares the space with Paper Plant Co., and upon entering, it feels as though it’s a stationary shop that happens to serve coffee, more so than a proper “cafe”. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and the coffee was lovely, so those matter more than anything else. There’s some limited seating outside (inside is not really an option) and there’s a cake shop next door (Flouring) that has some nice sweet options to pair with your coffee.

What a cute small coffee shop. I tried the kabocha spice latte and fell in love at first sip. Gotta come here more when I come home for visits.

I love this coffee/stationary store!! The interior is small but very cute. There are a couple small tables outside but no indoor seats. I got matcha with whole milk and sweetened. I really enjoyed it. As far as parking, I didn't have a problem parking on the streets. There were a lot of street parking spots. I would recommend!

Probably the best most apt name for a coffee shop in LA. You haven’t walked in or ordered and it’s already thanking u. It presents a Japanese vibe in peculiarity and size. Standing room only status inside. What drew me in was the creative menu, like the Jasmine Buckwheat latte. It hit me kissed me and hit me again. Damn. Parking is a little tricky but just park in the yellow.

Great coffee in LA Chinatown. Only complaint is that the shop is very small and they can only allow in 5 people at a time. I had a matcha latte and it was great! Servers were friendly despite the wait time!

In the heart of LA's often-forgotten Chinatown is Thank You Coffee. It's a small shop on Hill Street close to the 110, with an exterior that hints closely at the bright colors scattered through its interior. You can get your stationery, knickknacks, and caffeine fix all in one go. I thought I would like it more than I actually did? It tasted like a normal pumpkin spice latte but was grainy from the spice; I wish it had more of the characteristic kabocha taste. Jasmine buckwheat latte was very floral and I think Molly Tea fans would like it a lot? It’s very unique and I would return to get it. Overall couldn’t really taste the coffee especially because it was a little too sweet for me, but the flavor combinations are very unique and this is the kind of Asian influence I live for. The interior is very cute though and I think they are expanding to a bigger space next door.

I visited Thank You Coffee a couple of times when it was temporarily housed in a shop next to their own store while it is undergoing renovation. I look forward to visiting their original store! Their menu is concise with some very interesting special drinks. I tried the You're Welcome Latte and found the smokey black tea note quite unique, however personally I'm not a big fan of oat milk, which they default to. The latte texture ends up different and not as good if you ask me.

One of trickiest spots in town for parking and traffic typically wasn't a friend. This super cute coffee shop was right next to an amazingly hooking stationary shop as well as a dainty cake shop, giving me the feeling like hitting 3 at once; BIG WIN! As the place was kinda tiny, the line could easily overflow to the storefront as they only allowed few people to be inside at same time. It moved very quickly though as the baristas were super frisky. It's smart that they're capturing the nearby iconic Dodger Stadium into their special menu. Yep, literally blue-colored as it featured butterfly pea flower mixed with honey and house-made syrup. It's said to contain Pandan leaves though I couldn't really smell the fragrance. You could add espresso or matcha shot to the blue milk, for which I opted for the prior. It's pretty enjoyable if you fancied fun sweet iced coffee. Will I come back? Prolly yes when I'm around the area, but maybe not making it all the way from the west.

Such a cute coffee/stationery shop. I had the matcha latte with oatmilk and lightly sweetened and it was good but next time i'm getting regularly sweetened. I usually have to ask for lightly sweetened wherever I go and this time when I did, it could've used a bit more sweetener which is a good thing. This way I know they do not use too much sweetener in their drinks. The lady that ran the stationery station was so nice and helpful and she answered any questions about the pens she recommends and the paper quality of the notebooks. You can try the pens and how they write as they have a sample for each and paper to try them and I bought two pens as I love to collect pens. As far as parking, there's plenty of street parking, but I walked here from the nearby LA Historic State Park. It was nice taking a stroll through chinatown with my matcha latte and then I went back to the park to go for a walk. I would come back to this shop and try the other espresso drinks.

Thank You Coffee is a cute tiny to-go-coffee shop in the heart of Chinatown LA. They serve cold and hot coffee/tea drinks as well as some specialty drink. They sell merch and stationary stuff. TYC’s has a max occupancy of five people. Otherwise, customers have to form a line outside the door. I ordered an Iced Cold Brew x wm. It was smooth and refreshing especially on a warm day. Perfecto!! :D Prices were highly competitive and affordable. Plenty of street metered parking. Staff were nice. Overall, it’s a good to-go-coffee shop. And I had a good experience.

We love coffee. But this isn’t a Flat White. The consistency was a miss. Even tho they said they can do a Flat White - It’s a Latte. And the Matcha Latte was cold for what it is, barely lukewarm at best which is strike 2. We love the idea of a revived DTLA Chinatown scene. We appreciate the small select shop of stuff and tees. But would start by lifting up the coffee craft. Thank You… 🙏 for Flouring though. That was Ace!

Staff was very friendly and polite. I loved the small business merchandise the sell in their shop. We received our drinks quickly (an iced matcha latte and iced hojicha) but they both tasted like soap. I'm thinking maybe the suds weren't completely rinsed off some equipment the use. Sadly can't recommend for a good matcha or hojicha, but vibes were good.
