Winchell's Donut House

A standard Winchell's with the usual donut and coffee fare. But the ladies who work here are so sweet. They make great sandwiches and always make sure custom orders are correct.

We have never had a bad experience at any Winchell's, but we really loved this one. It was pretty late at night and we wanted donuts. We thought because of the time they may have only stale ones. I was wrong. They were fresh and the glazed were warm. Some of the selection had been removed because they don't sell stale donuts, but there was still so much to choose from. We bought the 14 donuts for the price of a dozen. The man working there was so kind and sweet and even helped my grandson open the strawberry milk he just had to have right then. You will love this place.

Even though employee was alone and busy with customers, service was prompt, courteous and professional. Definitely recommend this donut shop.

Fast and easy very nice helpful people.

The server was nice, polite, and quick. Coffee was hot and the buttermilk donut tasted fresh. Waiting area to order and eating area are crammed. I will stop by and get a coffee and donut.

Here's the truth. The ladies who run this place are fantastic and always are prompt o everything. They are always busy and usually have fresh donuts. Now this isn't every Winchells, but this location is on point.

Don't like doughnuts but my wife and kids do they're ok but the employees don't understand English to well so it's hard to explain what type you want and how you want it.!

Regular old donut shop, decent coffee and the best fried donuts in west adams. The staff is friendly and they have a parking lot that is easy to enter and exit. The area around it is a little bad so I don't recommend coming here late at night.

The place appeared clean and the clerk was very sweet. She treated every customer as if they were family. The only issue would be that there is very limited parking spaces.

There always busy and only three people can enter at a time. When I have been in there there is always plenty of fresh donuts to choose from.

It's really good. Asolid donut contender. I have a favorite donut shop, and Winchells is good...but it's not my old shop. Anyway, the apple fritters are killer, the glazed are nice, and I had these little twists of pastry that were new to me and lovely. Have gone back and consider it to be a pretty good fill in for my old place.

Ordered a bagel with chorizo and they didn’t even bother mix the egg and chorizo together!!

This is my first visit to any Winchell. There are no description cards in front of any of the items or on the neon menu. Nor could I spot paper menus. The coffee machines don't look like they get cleaned often. I heard the male staff say, "you are a croissant game" and later, "you are a talking game" but when I requested help in English, he didn't switch languages. I left unable to get anything because the female staff and one English speaking customer were more interested in attacking than helping the situation. Similarly, most previous customers were more interested in filling the air with putridity than actually making a recommendation to someone who is clearly not a regular and is now not likely to ever be.

Average The egg and cheese croissant is flavored less. The egg is bad 😕 The cheese is bad. That's what happens when you use the cheapest ingredients.🤷‍♀️

I ordered the Carne asada torta and the Meat was Dry, and it had No Flavor At All. And it came with only pico inside it. I was Very Disappointed in this torta. I Won't be ordering that no more.

Second shift servers are nice and polite/ Tina and Pau, but the morning servers are rude including the Manager ,/ Leticia and Kanina. They don't know anything about customer service. I have been visiting this location for the last 24 years.

Inconsistent every time! I don't get it very often but when I get I expect for it to be good. Nope either I get old donuts, greasey, and tonight's disaster taste....salty. Only time it use to have good donuts is when it was a nice little Hispanic lady and a man at night. Then donuts were fresh and like clouds. I don't understand why they have one person working at night. That person has to make donuts plus pack them, make sandwiches, smoothies, and deal with cash. That's a food bourne illness waiting to happen. Y'all better step your game up Dunkin donuts down the street.

The cleark was not understanding what we were asking for we have to tell her like three times that we want decaffeinated coffee .The hot chocolate was so sweet the decaffeinated coffee tasted like water with color..The line was moving so slow

Do not go there if you do not speak Spanish ! I was there on a Monday night at 7:30pm, and the only employee there spoke no English at all, not a word, and I do not speak Spanish. I had to ask another customer who was Bilingual to translate what I wanted to the employee. Absurd ! Additionally, the doughnuts are very average there, not worth the headache. I will never be back, this was my first & my last visit ! And my advice to the owner would be to have employees in the store at all times who speak both English and Spanish, because not every customer speaks Spanish !!!!!

I give them no stars because I came about a month ago and there blender was not working. Came back today the 4th of July a holiday and it was still not working. Don't come here they suck.

Donuts were good but the worker had a bad attitude. The female worker was VERY VERY RUDE. I asked for a glazed donut and she gave me a differnt donut and when I told her I didn't order that she was very mad but it wasn't my fault she didn't pay attention. She was then going off and talking rude. But as a young adult I rather not say a word and argue with someone like that.

I like Winchell's Donuts, but the donuts at this location did not taste good. I bought 4 twist chocolate, and I threw them to the trash. Waste of money!

Came to this donut spot with my family and the lady Leticia that was taking our order was extremely rude eveeytime we asked her for a donut it was as we were bothering her, honestly dont understand why people with unfriendly attitudes are doing customer service . Horrible will never come back to this place again.

Walk in Don't use Uber eats they give you whatever they want and then they hang up in your face when you complain about it

Honestly, I wasnt asking for a whole extra half of onion, a little pinch extra then the usually amount wouldve been fine...also its CUSTOMER SERVICE....literally they trying to get every penny, I guess...then also idk if because I was the only asian, non speaking Spanish person in there...when I order the extra onions, I said I WANT IT ON THE SIDE TO MAKE SURE YOU GIVE ME THE CHARGED AMOUNT OF EXTRA. Of course when I watch her make my bagel, there's no "extra"..it literally looked like the normal amount of onions they put, so when I asked about it..it was kind of brushed off like "yeah, extra onion" as if she out more but really none extra ...so I had made her give me the $.75 worth of raw onions I've paid for. I aint coming back ahahhaah

35 min wait to receive what should be a fast and easy to go meal . Lack of structure with receipt checks as well as lack of discipline and attention to detail from employees .

UPDATE ATTN MANAGER I WENT ON 2 -1 -26 about 330p I've been buying a muffin for $2.50 And the cashier was charging $3.50 I explained that I've been paying 2.50 but she didn't care .AND A WEEK AGO I WAS 5 CENTS SHORT AND SHE WOULD NOT LET 5 CENTS SLIDE .THINK OF YOUR CUSTOMERS AND STOP BEING SO GREEDY. I ENCOURAGE MANAGEMENT TO RESPOND . I GIVE WINCHELL'S ZERO STARS
