Been here 4 days now and wouldn't normally post til the end of the holiday but after seeing a 1* review I needed to say something. Staff are very friendly and attentive. Happy to talk and include you without being overbearing like most on the island. Can't talk highly enough about the staff and environment. Happy to have this gem on our doorstep for our hols. The 1* is either a one off or someone keen to slate the restaurant. Don't let it put you off. Plenty staff every night and we've never been left wanting yet never felt under pressure to buy. See you guys again before we leave. Keep up the good work team.

Visited on the 16th March 2024 at around 18:00, as you can see by my star rating it was excellent, we had the Paella it was fantastic , the staff we very attentive without being over the top. Nice restaurant with good background music I highly recommend this establishment for an all round dining experience. As for value for money well it was second to none. Drinks, main and desert, under 40 Euros for 2 persons i would gladly have paid 60 + Euros for 2 persons.

What a lovely experience. The staff were fantastic, spoke with the owners who work the floor. The food was excellent and the quantity was brilliant. Have to totally recommend this restaurant if you're ever in Tenerife

Excellent restaurant à tarifs plus qu’abordables. Les serveurs sont très aimables et rapides. La paella est faite sur le moment et nécessite 30-40 minutes de préparation mais de nombreuses entrées pris chères sont dispo. Fortement recommandé !

Have had several meals here and they have all been excellent. The service is friendly and efficient. The atmosphere is very welcoming and the decor has to be seen to be believed, it has a real 'olde worlde' feel about it that just tops off the whole experience

Da andarci!! Ottimo cibo, noi abbiamo mangiato la paella sia mista pesce e carne che quella di solo carne (e non solo) e sono veramente buonissime e per finire ci hanno offerto rum al miele . Lo staff straordinario ed estremamente cordiale, struttura pulita. Consigliatissimo!!!

Top quality and attentive staff. Best in the area if you fancy a night off pizza and Indian food. Everything is good ,but pizza is best got from an Italian. Relaxed atmosphere and big terrace.

Die Bedienung war schnell, zuverlässig und freundlich. Auch wenn die Speisekarte keine all zu große Auswahl enthielt, war alles enthalten was das Herz begehrt. Das Lammkottelette war super zart und ließ sich problemlos vom Knochen lösen. Die Soße hat perfekt datz gepasst und der Kartoffelpüree war nicht mehr als das Fleisch (wie es öfters üblich ist). Die Portion ist ausreichend und sehr schmackhaft. Es war auch schön angerichtet.

La paella più buona che abbia mai mangiato!!!! Viene portata su un carrellino a parte e il cameriere la serve nei piatti. Servizio veramente impeccabile. Un attenzione al cliente pazzesca. Sono venuti più volte a chiedere se andasse tutto bene. Da tornarci sicuramente prima di lasciare l'isola.

Di questo posto non si può che essere felici. Cibo buonissimo, abbondante e a prezzo conveniente, ci siamo tornati due volte durante la nostra vacanza a Tenerife

To start, we shared the chicken wings (the meat was so soft that it fell off the bone) and the chorizo & potatoes in red wine sauce. Both starters were fabulous - the wings take a few seconds for the heat to kick in. For the mains, we had the meat paella for 2, with beef and chicken.....absolutely delicious! The youngest had the kids fish and chips, which were really crispy and crunchy, and the eldest had the pork ribs. While separating the ribs, the bones practically popped out of the meat. The pork was really tender and tasty. For dessert we had the tiramisu with vanilla ice-cream and it was one of the best tiramisus I've ever had. The kids had chocolate ice-cream and said it was really good. There was a lovely bottle of wine had, as well as 2 tasty espresso martinis. All-in-all, between friendly staff and excellent food and drink, we would definitely recommend a visit here, and we intend to return before we leave!

Skvelá reštaurácia. Paella bola neskutočne skvelá. Obsluha bola ústretová a veľmi milá. Deti dostali darček, dospelí malý likér. Boli sme 2x za týždeň. Určite odporúčam, nabudúce určite prídem aj keď budem ubytovaný v inom meste.

Great restaurant. Although I would suggest that the bread portion should be increased, a small loaf for 1.2 euros is kind of a rip off. Overall, great meat choices. The lamb option was extremely delicious. Mixed meat is great but lacks something additional, sausage was the best part. Overall great ambiance and great choices of food. Great service also, friendly folks. It felt amazing to dine there, I would suggest it.

Ambiente caldo e accogliente, abbiamo prenotato in questo ristorante perché volevamo assaggiare la paella. La cuoca Maria è veramente speciale, oltre ad una paella mista buonissima, fatta in tempo reale, abbiamo assaggiato il suo chorizo con le patate per ingannare l'attesa, annafiando il tutto con un'ottima sangria. Il ragazzo che ci ha servito è stato veramente molto professionale, ci ha spiegato bene i piatti, cercando di farsi capire al meglio, dato che noi parliamo poco lo spagnolo ed è stato attento ad ogni minimo dettaglio. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo, considerando che il locale è in uno dei posti più turistici di tutta Tenerife. Molto consigliato!

Una experiencia excelente de principio a fin en Restaurante Don Quijote. Desde el momento en que entramos, el ambiente del lugar ya transmite una sensación muy acogedora y auténtica. La decoración tiene muchísimo encanto, con un estilo clásico español inspirado en Don Quijote, detalles rústicos muy cuidados, madera, barriles y una atmósfera elegante pero relajada. Se siente como un restaurante con personalidad propia y no un lugar turístico más. La atención fue realmente impecable, y queremos destacar especialmente a Lina, quien hizo que toda la experiencia fuera todavía mejor. Desde el primer momento fue increíblemente amable, cercana y profesional. Siempre atenta a cada detalle, muy paciente, sonriente y con una energía muy positiva. Nos recomendó platos, estuvo pendiente de la mesa durante toda la comida y consiguió que nos sintiéramos muy cómodos y bien atendidos en todo momento. Da muchísimo gusto encontrar personas que trabajan con tanta dedicación y calidez humana. Lina realmente merece un reconocimiento especial porque su atención fue de primer nivel. La comida fue espectacular. Probamos varios platos y sinceramente todo estuvo delicioso. La paella de mariscos fue uno de los puntos más fuertes. Muy abundante, llena de sabor y con mariscos frescos y bien cocinados. El arroz tenía una textura perfecta y absorbía todo el sabor del mar. Los mejillones, almejas y gambas estaban fresquísimos y el conjunto tenía ese sabor auténtico que uno espera cuando viene a Canarias y quiere comer buena cocina española. El salmón con mariscos también nos sorprendió muchísimo. El pescado estaba jugoso, perfectamente cocinado y combinado con una salsa muy sabrosa. Las gambas, mejillones y almejas aportaban aún más sabor y todo el plato se veía cuidado y elegante. Muy recomendable. El solomillo de ternera estaba excelente. Carne tierna, jugosa y en el punto perfecto. Acompañado de patatas fritas crujientes y una pequeña ensalada fresca que equilibraba muy bien el plato. Se notaba la calidad del producto. Además, la sangría estaba muy buena, fresca y perfecta para acompañar la comida en un ambiente tan agradable. Otro detalle importante es que el restaurante es muy limpio y cómodo. Las mesas están bien distribuidas y el lugar tiene una atmósfera tranquila donde realmente puedes disfrutar la comida sin prisas. El interior del restaurante es precioso y tiene muchísimo carácter. Sin duda, uno de los restaurantes que más disfrutamos en Tenerife. Excelente comida, servicio fantástico, ambiente precioso y una experiencia muy completa. Y una vez más, muchísimas gracias a Lina por su atención tan profesional, amable y cercana. Personas así hacen que un restaurante destaque todavía más. Muy recomendable para quienes buscan buena cocina española, mariscos frescos y una experiencia auténtica y agradable en Los Cristianos.

This restaurant is an absolute gem! During a short weekend visit to Los Cristianos my friends and I ate there 4 times! It's truly amazing. The food and sangria were out of this world, made with fresh and local ingredients. The portions were perfect and all dishes very reasonably priced. Special shoutout to our waiter Felipe, who was very attentive and took our dining experience to another level! Thank you for having us, we will be back!!! Honestly, I can't recommend this restaurant enough. If you are in the area do yourself a favour and try it out!

La prima cena a Tenerife, l'abbiamo fatta in questo locale scelto dalle recensioni, è non ci siamo sbagliati. Siamo entrati nel locale alle 20.e qualche minuto ed all' esterno era già tutto pieno, il cameriere gentilissimo ci ha accompagnati al nostro tavolo prenotato, e ci ha avvisato che per gustare la loro paella bisogna attendere almeno un ora , visto le ordinazioni precedenti. Abbiamo accettato l' attesa e nel frattempo abbiamo ordinato qualche passatempo hihihi, tutto buono preparato al momento , ottima sangria, l' attesa è stata ripagata con un eccellente paella , se vi trovate a Tenerife e non amate la confusione e vi piace mangiare bene ,senza fregature, pagando il giusto, allora questo locale è consigliatissimo. Buone vacanze.

Service was amazing, food was really delicious, this restaurant also has interesting promotions tue-sun 4-6pm(like happy hour) you should try it if you are aiming to visit it around that time. We had "sea food paella for two" and to be honest I was very impressed. Probably will come again, since I never ate better sea food paella. Highly recommending!

I spent part of my vacation in Los Cristianos and had dinner at Don Quijote. I felt genuinely comfortable there. Very pleasant atmosphere, a warm and friendly team, and a waitress who was not only attentive but also truly charming. The whole mix of different nationalities gives the place an even nicer vibe. The food was great, the service even better. I’ll definitely come back on my next stay.

Went here twice and had two very different experiences. First night was quite good. Second night not so good. Someone at the table got undercooked chicken and they asked for a Bolognese instead as they were no longer comfortable with getting chicken dish again but the chicken dish came out again. Chips came out 10 minutes after the food initially arrived but we had to ask where the chips were and when they did we were short a portion. I also had to ask again for sauce I originally ordered. Everywhere has a bad day I guess.

Avevamo chiesto la paella di pesce, ma poi non avevano il pesce adatto volevano farcelo con pesce bianco, quindi abbiamo optato per altri piatti.

Durchschnittliche Küche. Als wir da waren hatten wir das Gefühl nicht richtig willkommen zu sein. Die Bedienung tat ihren Job, mehr aber auch nicht. Freundlichkeit sieht anders aus. Lag vielleicht am Neujahrstag, wer weiß....

Voor kerstavond hier een tafel besproken. Op terras was het druk dus kozen wij voor een tafel binnen. Dat hebben we geweten.... de bediening buiten ging zeer snel. Binnen hebben we een uur zitten wachten. Teleurstellend, zeker met een kind erbij. Zelfs niet vragen of we nog iets wilde drinken. Eten zelf viel ons tegen.

If you wanna eat here, choose another restaurant, not this one. Food was bad, waiter spilled beer on my friend.

Ordered chilli with garlic prawns and a mixed grill. After a good half hour wait one waiter brought the starter out then two minutes after another waiter brought the mains out. The starter was nice but the mains was the worst mixed grill ive ever had. The steak wasn't steak i cant even describe what it was. It was just awful. One lesson learnt dont eat there again

Juste des voleurs Non seulement nous avons attendu 1h30 avant d’être servis mais au moment de la note le vin facturé le double de ce qui était indiqué… il nous a été répondu qu’il s’agissait d’une erreur sur le menu…. Mais oui bien sûr !!! Un restau qui profite des touristes …. Heureusement seule mauvaise expérience à Tenerife mais je ne leur ferai pas de pub. Juste des VOLEURS

Poor experience, food was just about average and felt cheap. Waitress was not friendly at all, and then I was served the wrong pasta dish. It happens and we’re all human - but she just looked at me and took the plate back to kitchen and arrived 10 mins later with the correct dish, no apology. Didn’t check on our table once to see if everything was ok. Found it a very poor experience that could have been made better by a better service.

Richtig schlecht !!! Verstehen wirklich nicht wie dieses (Restaurant) gute Bewertungen bekommen kann. Es befindet sich in einer Touristen Hochburg und der Kellner versteht kein Englisch und kennt seine eigene Karte nicht. Vorspeisen kommen kalt und mit dem Hauptgang. Kaltes Essen ist hier Programm die Pommes werden zum Hauptgericht kalt serviert. Die Pommes waren auf dem Teller auch kaum vorhanden....siehe Bild. Dieses Restaurant können wir auf keinen Fall empfehlen!!! Es gibt für weniger Geld bessere Restaurants in der Nähe. Jeder Stern ist hier zu viel. PS: Auf die Bemerkung, daß die Pommes kalt sind wurde vom Kellner nur mit" ist egal "reagiert. Kleine Portion großer Preis!!! Unfreundlich !!!

Hay lugares que te dan ganas de volver… este solo te da ganas de irte. No entiendo cómo puede llamarse restaurante.

Uno de los peores restaurantes que he estado en mi vida, todo mal, pescado en mal estado, pasta carbonara con sabor a pescado, una ensalada césar mal hecha 3 veces y al final no nos la sirvieron, pedimos un solomillo de ternera con salsa roquefort y nos ponen solomillo de cerdo con patatas y ensalada, todo mal. El peor restaurante de la zona con diferencia.

Wir waren 11 Tage in Los Christianos und haben täglich in unterschiedlichen Restaurants gegessen. In allen waren wir zufrieden. Dieses Lokal hinterlässt einen ganz anderen Eindruck!!! Das bestellte Filetsteak war nicht Medium gebraten sondern fast roh. Bei der Reklamation wurde der Teller kommentarlos mitgenommen und später ebenso wieder auf den Platz gestellt. Der bestellte Thunfisch war gut, der beigelegte Salat war nicht angemacht und es gab am Tisch auch keine Möglichkeit dies nachzuholen. Die "kanarischen" Kartoffeln kamen ohne typische Sauce. Als wir die Mängel angesprochen haben, wurde das, ohne Bedauern zu äußern, hin genommen. Dieses Essen war das schlechteste in unserem Urlaub und nun verstehen wir auch, weshalb dieses Restaurant so wenig frequentiert wird, während andere voll sind!!!

Das war leider nichts. Obwohl das Lokal bis auf zwei weitere Tische leer war, haben wir relativ lange auf unser Essen gewartet. Das Knoblauchbrot vorweg war einfach ein aufgeschnittenes Brötchen ohne Pfiff und Geschmack. Der „Knüller“ war allerdings, dass statt des bestellten Pulled Pork Burger ein völlig anderes Gericht kam - kann passieren. Das Gericht wurde von uns „reklamiert“, anschließend kam dann ein ganz normaler Burger aus Schweinefleisch, nicht ganz durchgebraten. Die Bedienung, und auch der Koch offenbar, verstanden bis zum Schluss nicht, dass ein Schweinefleischpatty KEIN Pulled Burger ist. Keine Entschuldigung, keine Entschädigung, nichts. Schade! ACHTUNG: Die guten Bewertungen aus den letzten Jahren beziehen sich offenbar auf dieses Restaurant, aber den vorherigen Besitzer und eine andere Speisekarte!!!

Do not go here, we made the mistake of going here, the mixed paella was rubbish, the muscles served as picture. The sticker was left on the lemon, so therefore hadn't been washed. Oh but the pizza was nice 🙄

After the initial pleasantries and a promise to not pay if we didn’t like it my family and I decided to give it a go . Once inside we ordered three steaks all to be cooked different ways. When the waiter presented each to the family we were told which steak was which guess what? Yes he got it wrong .Didn’t matter anyway as each steak was swimming in a blood marinade. I hear you ask why didn’t you send it back? Because all the staff went awol for ages and not one came to ask how our food was. By this time my son was so hungry He ate mine and his. Some time later the front of house staff member came to collect our dishes. I took the opportunity to point out our situation. He blamed it on another waiter not understanding. I then asked if the statement about not paying was valid. Guess what it wasn’t. Don’t bother with this restaurant.

Fuimos a cenar porque nos pillaba cerca, pedimos un arroz thai con gambas, una pizza y una ensalada cesar...a la mesa nos llegó un plato de alguna paella que había sobrado a algún comensal anterior y recalentado con aroma a gambas, una pizza de congelador de la industria sin casi cocinar y unos brotes de ensalada, mojada, sin aceite y con pollo congelado...ni siquiera unos míseros picatostes. Tal vez antes estaría bien el lugar, pero han cambiado gestión recientemente y la verdad que la experiencia ha sido pésima. Lamento mucho esta reseña y espero que lejos de ofender anime a buscar un cambio a mejor.
