My BF took me here for my b-day. And we just loved everything we ordered 😍 Especially the pasta, Cacio e Pepe was our favorite! Perfect balance of flavor🤩 We will definitely go back for some other time !
Another hidden gem in redondo with am amazing woodfire oven, Italian chef/owner and a great team of professional staff who know how to make every experience phenomenal.
I stopped into this gem of a place for dinner and was seriously impressed. The espresso was rich & velvety, the kind that lingers in the best way. The pizza was on point. Napoli-level perfection charred crust, vibrant sauce, gooey cheese bliss. The service made me feel like family. It was so good, I ended up ordering an extra pizza just to take home. Thank you!
Absolutely incredible. I would have paid more and felt it was very worth it. Pizza was unique and so good, and they even had very good homemade gluten free pizza dough. Rhina my waitress was so kind and helpful, as well as the rest of the staff. Can’t recommend enough!
Wow! What a gem! I love this place. The perfect ocean breeze hitting you while you're eating your food is lovely. We started off with bruschetta as an appetizer. The tomatoes were herbal tasting and fresh. We had the spicy Antonio pizza and margherita pizza for the main course. The spicy Antonio is so unique never have had a pizza like this! It was so delicious with the sweet flavor pairing of the cheese. The margherita was so to die for as well. The crust was amazing on both pizzas! Real Italian style!! We didn't feel bloated and we had room for desert. We had tiramisu and pistachio cake! My goodness the pistachio cake I've never heard of. It was so delicious my god same consistency as a tiramisu cake and perfectly paired with my cappuccino. The tiramisu was perfect and creamy . The presentation of the food was prestigious! Definitely coming back, and the service was awesome and fast!
Amazing food in an incredible location - we were sat at 6pm and had dinner looking out at the Redondo Pier as the sun was setting. Our table ordered most of the menu but the standouts were the Margherita pizza, Pepperoni Pizza, Truffle Pizza, Lasagne, Salmon, Gelato, Pistachio Cake, and of course the Tiramisu. Cocktails were exceptional as well - we will be back often!
So glad to have a new go-to Italian restaurant in Redondo. The pizza is to DIE for. Coming from someone who lived in New York and has dined in Italy, this pizza puts up a tough fight. Need to go back immediately and start trying every dish they have on the menu. Service was very nice and attentive and I can't wait to go back again and again and again!
The pizzas were great. The chicken parmigiani was really good. And the dessert was delicious
We love pizza cooked over a fire in the oven, this one was delicious. Thank you for the unusual experience

Amazing new spot in Redondo Beach that is devoid of many options for great Italian food. Went with a friend and we shared the caprese. Highly recommend. Then we both ordered the lasagna. I'm a big snob when it comes to lasagna and I must say this is one of the best I have ever had. Location is great and the staff and service was top notch.
I LOVE this lovely restaurant! Its walking distance from my apt and i have made visiting the place a beautiful routine!! Staff is super friendly and food has been phenomenal!! The Green velvet gin cocktail is amazing and pizza incredible!! This will be my new hang out spot:) The story behind the restaurant is also worth supporting!! Go small businesses!! Worth a visit for sure:)
This is real authentic Italian dining!! Owners came here from Pulglia, Italy 3 years ago, And brought along amazing recipes and knowledge. The restaurant has a very cosy atmosphere, The pastas/pizzas are to die for, and make sure you finish off with their signature Limoncello shot.
Amazing Food! Marco''s bruschetta and mortadela pizza are delicious. We also had the asparagus risotto, wow! Top notch!
LoZio Osteria Pizzeria & Bar is an absolute gem! From the warm, inviting atmosphere to the delicious food and expertly crafted drinks, everything about our experience was top-notch. A huge shout-out to our server, Jose, who made our night extra special. He was incredibly thoughtful, attentive, and genuinely passionate about making sure we had a great experience. On top of that, we were thrilled to learn that Jose curated their amazing cocktail menu—and wow, what a menu it is! Every drink we tried was perfectly balanced and unique, with flavors that complemented the meal beautifully. The food was fantastic (don’t skip the pizza!), the vibe was lively yet relaxed, and the service couldn’t have been better. Thanks again to Jose for going above and beyond. We’ll definitely be back soon!
Was feeling under the weather so I decided to order in via DoorDash. This was my first time trying this restaurant out and it did not disappoint. I got the fried calamari with marinara and spaghetti pomodoro and both were cooked perfectly. The calamari was still crunchy when it arrived, and the pomodoro had the perfect balance of acidity and creaminess. I loved the texture of the pasta too. I can’t wait to dine in soon!

Pizza amazing, cocktails great, service is super… and such a wonderful location. By amazing I mean it feels like you’re in Italy when you take your first bite. I spent a lot of time in Italy for work and fun back when I lived in France '01- '03 – the char, mouth feel, smell, and taste of this pizza is right on point. I love American pizza too of course but there’s something special about pizza from anywhere in Italy that’s south of Rome IMO. The Firehouse #1 was our favorite cocktail, we loved the cannoli, and the pistachio cake is just as good as the other reviews describe. I also loved the wings and ate way more than my share of those; oink. We’ve known the owners for years and they had a cool vegan place here before. I never expected the new restaurant to be such legit pizza; what a win for Redondo!

Small food. VERY small food. Have to order bread separately too. Still absolutely starving after dinner. That said, the food is pretty good. I probably just should’ve just ordered two entrées.

Look, I gave Lozio Osteria a fair shake, and the pizza is... fine. It’s decent. It’s the kind of slice you eat and say, “Yeah, that’s pizza,” but that’s where the magic ends. Is it great? Nah. It lacks that spark, that "wow" factor that makes you want to drag your friends out in LA traffic just to try it. It’s the culinary equivalent of a beige sedan—reliable, functional, gets the job done, but you’re never going to look back at it fondly when you walk away. Go if you're hungry, skip it if you're looking for a spiritual experience.

“20%, 25%, or 30% tip?” 👁️👄👁️ The food was decent, and service was average, but an 8oz Diet Coke (bottle, no refills) was just stingy (guess that’s what I get for not getting alcohol?). With drinks being the first thing out it set a tone of disappointment right from the start. The ending sealed a 2 star review for me - waiters holding the card reader, staring while tip is selected is a little annoying - but since when did default options become 20, 25 or 30 percent?
Be advised that “the chef” will not prepare a pizza that is 1/2 and 1/2. I’ve been to some superb Italian restaurants that have no problem with this. I understand that this is not done in Italy, but I think if you are in the USA, some compromise should be made. Also, the pizza is not that small, so to order 2 is way too much, as we found out. And I’m not a big fan of leftover pizza. The phrase “When in Rome” applies everywhere.
Chicken dish had a dirty sock or chemical flavor and sickened my wife and I. Very gross experience. Pasta dishes were not much better. First date in a while and very disappointed.
Chicken parmigiana is maybe par cooked (cooked ahead of time) it was dry and to make things worse little to no sauce on it. Sides make no sense either it was served with French fries not pasta. Honestly if there was bread served with the chicken it would have made an ok chicken sandwich but there was also no bread. My expectations of Italian food is American style but that’s where we are. Probably not returning it’s a shame because they are walking distance.
