Shotzys has really good food and even better bartenders. I haven't ordered anything I didn't really like and most of the time couldn't finish! If you go when Kailey is working shes such a sweetheart and is so about her business. Never any bad vibes or long waits!

Update!! I’ve been back a couple times since my first review and brought people with me. Guess what? Same great service and food! Definitely one of my favorite places now!! I drove from the DFW area to experience Shotzy’s and I was NOT disappointed. Had one of the best hamburger steaks ever. All the food was perfectly seasoned and the wait staff were so nice and friendly. I’ll definitely be back again.

One of the better bars in Lubbock! Even though it was busy, my husband and I were always taken care of. Great atmosphere, awesome staff, and freaking GREAT food and drinks! Shoutout to Kloee for being the best bartender and waitress around! Y’all won’t regret a meal or drink at Shotzy’s!

We went there for the first time. I had the Philly steak with tots, and my wife had the Ruben with onion rings. My wife really liked the ruben and the philly steak was good as well. The onion rings are made with red onions, and the breading is made everyday there. The onion rings are made to order. The breading is really good. The onions them selves have more of a mild flavor. That's not a bad thing. It's just if you want more of a onion taste to your onion rings you might want to get something else. Again we did like them. The waitress/bartender was very nice and friendly, and came to to see if we needed anything. She was the only one working the front it seemed. The beer comes in small and large. The large is a 32oz glass (from the tap at least). They also do karaoke, but not when we were there. Over all I give it a 8.5 out of 10 , and will be going there again.

Out here for family event, stopped by a s my cousin loves this spot. Great drink's, atmosphere, great music, the people have a great karaoke hope that is brings it to the next level. Love it!

The food is good, we got loaded chili cheese fries, chips and queso, and fried pickles. Everything was great. Service is fast and the bartenders are nice. They put lots of effort into decorating for the holidays especially Halloween. Nice little dive-bar type of spot.

We went in the afternoon normally they are more attentive … they had 3 Bartendars / servers we waiting at least 10 minutes one of the girls assumed the other one had went to our table until we finally got attention of one of them !!! I have been here several times and I just must say today the food was missing a little seasoning !!! Hopefully next time is a better experience !!!

Went in on a Friday night. Was very busy and no place to sit. Went and stood at bar to order drinks while waiting for a seat and wax totally ignored. Not one bartender asked what we wanted. Stood there 10 minutes and l left. Sad because this place seems happening.

It’s a bar, that also happens to serve food. Philly: meat was burnt. Burger: sure, I guess it was a burger. And when a drunk comes up to you at the bar and pushes you aside to start an argument with the guy sitting next to you at the counter you realize what sort of place you’re at. What a dump.

First time going. Heard good things and everything was good. But walked into a dirty table and our waitress forgot the whole section. Everyone was having to get up and get their own drinks.

On February 8, 2026, our group had an unfortunate experience at this establishment involving a bartender named Kalee. We were asked to leave after she stated that she believed she did not receive a sufficient tip and accused us of “stiffing” her. She loudly told us, “Y’all need to leave.” When we calmly asked for clarification, she responded that she could make us leave simply because she wanted to. At no point were we disruptive, disorderly, or behaving in any way that would justify being removed. The situation appeared to stem solely from dissatisfaction with the perceived tip amount. As we were exiting, she made an obscene hand gesture toward our group, which was both unprofessional and disappointing. There is video footage of the interaction. Given that I have a platform with over 2 million views, I am mindful of the impact that sharing this publicly could have. I would prefer to give management the opportunity to reach out and address this matter directly before posting the video. I contacted the establishment on February 9, 2026 and was directed to speak with management. I hope ownership takes this situation seriously, as this type of interaction reflects poorly on customer service standards.

I ordered a cheeseburger today & it was good, but I ordered ketchup and mustard and they charged me for that. 😱😳🤦🏻‍♀️ I told the waitress I had no idea that they charged for a condiment (mustard and ketchup)! It wasn’t ranch or anything like that, I feel like this is just part of the burger & fry entree. How can you charge for freaking ketchup and mustard!? 😬 I’ve never been to a restaurant who would do this. AND… if you’re going to charge for something simple like this, then you should literally have this posted in the menu, or have the waitress tell you this is an upcharge! I don’t think this is being unreasonable. POST YOUR CHARGES for something simple like this please so everyone knows! Now I know, and others reading this will know too… Ty.
