Opinions de Raider Burrito Lubbock
Love this this Raider Burrito. Great place for a homemade meal. I’ll definitely be back. Thank you for the great food and service.
I absolutely love the street tacos from here! I won't go anywhere else, I've tried few other spots but nobody comes close to raider burrito 🤤 I've got to go at least once a month to get my al pastor and carnitas taco fix!! Just went Friday, sooooo good as usual! I put 6 of those bad boys away like nothing hehe. Thank you guys for the best street tacos in town and staying open late on weekends!! 🤗
Street tacos are the bomb and so are there salsas. They don't taste like tomato sauce because some people can actually handles spicy! ♡
I love the tacos here. From getting the munchies after a night of drinking and dancing or for a late lunch/ early dinner snack. The green sauce is amazing. The red sauce: proceed with caution its HOT!!!!
I tried the tacos here for the first time 2 months ago…. I WILL NEVER GO TO TORCHYS OR FUZZYS AGAIN!! They are so delicious every single time!!! These workers need their a$$es ate for real !!! I recommend the Carnitas tacos with hella green sauce <3
Super fast service, wonderful staff and the food! Omg! Heaven in my freaking mouth!!!! Thank u Sophia for the wonderful service u provided!!!! Will recommend this location to everyone not the one on Slide! The one on Slide was horrible service! We sat there for about 20 mins waiting for someone to come to our table. No one did so we left and came to the one on 19th.
An authentic Mexican food restaurant, the food is very good and the service has been really great too. Love their salsa, and their carne asada burritos. The menu is a little difficult to read but they’re always helpful if you have any questions about it. I’ll definitely be returning. Would highly recommend
I come here every now and again and every time I do the food is awesome! Came in the other day with my sister, my friend and her nieces and the server was prompt and polite! I got the smothered Carne guisada burrito and it was so bomb!!
Was a late order right before they closed they treated me like I was their first customer, and the food was fresh. Not my first choice for street tacos, but today, they were definitely on point.
This place is my family's favorite place. We love this place! The food is great and always fresh tasting. The people are great too. We travel a lot and coming here to eat is one of the things we look forward to when we come home.
Food was good and was also pretty cheap, considering how many good I got. There seemed to be a slight language barrier between me and the guy taking my order but everything came out exactly as I expected. I'm happy to have gone here and I will return.
This was really good, authentic Mexican food. We all had some variety of taco, and they were all good. I favored the carnitas, and several of us agreed. We got 4 each. The staff did have heavy accents and maybe limited English, so be prepared. The menu is on a chalkboard, handwritten. We sat outside, where they were cooking. Sauces, napkins and drinks were inside. It's kind of a "hole in the wall" but the food was good and prices were decent. I would definitely return. Edited: went back and enjoyed the carnitas and steak tacos again. Ordered inside and had pleasant service.
Hands down the best cheese enchiladas ever paired with perfect beans and rice. This place consistently hit the spot. Legit Mexican style tacos were also fire. Don't let the surroundings ward you off from coming here: totally worth it.
Clean, well used but homey. Good service and good food. Customers that dined in stayed a long time visiting after eating. I noticed a food truck parked out back, it was dusty, looked abandoned. They should wash it down and keep it clean.
Just as delicious as I remembered. This was my go-to spot for real Mexican food when I was in college. Two years later, I came back to visit and it’s still as delicious! I got a breakfast burrito and flan - highly recommend!
Went there tonight to get tacos and I asked the guy if they had tacos de pollo, and he said no only beef and pork variety. Well I don’t eat that! I asked if they had anything chicken and he said no, but he would be glad to get it in the kitchen for me! I didn’t want him to go out of his way to do that, but he still did! Despite what other people say that they had a “bad experience” or whatever. I had an absolutely good one where the customer service was exceptional!
Absolutely delicious! This place is is popular, and for good reason - fast, tasty food that is open late. I see a lot of people ordering food here after bars close. I recommend the barbacoa, and the al pastor is also really good. After you get your food head inside to load up and on sauces and other toppings.
This is a very good place to get Mexican food. I went there for dinner with my dad and he and I both loved it. We got a beef burrito and a beef quesadilla and split it with each other. The quesadillas here are very good and they're at a decent price! Still haven't tried the tacos, but I hear that they're very good and will try to update this after I try them. The breakfasts here are very good as well. If you come first thing in the morning when they open, you'll get freshly made chips that are absolutely delicious. I would certainly recommend this place to anyone and I will be coming back here a lot, especially since I am a student.
Love this place, best barbacoa in town
We drive through. Unless it's cool (in the evening), then we eat on the outside tables. All the tacos are great. I really love the flan here it's so good.
We just moved from Denver and have realized how different Mexican food is here compared to Colorado. We have been trying to find food more like what we're used to. This place was as close to Denver Mexican that you can get! Tastes great and we fed our family of 5 for $20!
They are proud of their burritos! But...it's worth it! They are massive and when you ask for toppings stuff the little cups to the brim. Overall good place. Not far from Tech or the depot district
The Ham and potato burrito was delicious! The waitress/cashier was very sweet! We ate our breakfast burritos there a couple things need attention nearly every table was soiled we moved around 5 to 6 times to find the cleanest one! The prices on the menus didn't match up to what we were charged that needs attention as well other than that our first time there was eeh! Taco Villa is just down the street!
Don't have a whole lot to say about the place considering it was really late and went to pick up food. But the fact that it's open well past midnight and serves pretty good tacos, makes it a worthwhile to write a good review! Great for when you're out drinking with some friends and looking to calm your cravings
Had some street tacos. Al Pastor, buche, and barbaco tacos alongside my mexican coke. Service and atmosphere were great. There are lots of bad comments on the size of the tacos. Or that the bag is getting grease on it. We need to understand that mexican food is not a sandwich with dry bread. I sat down and ordered my tacos, but before I placed my order, I asked about the size of each. Decided on them knowing the size. Burritos and other items at bigger portions for a much higher price. $2.00 tacos is still a good deal and $7.00 and $8.00. Burritos are a bargain around town. The important thing is that we have choices to try and experiment with different foods and flavors. Come try them for yourself and give another local business a try
Service was great. I felt taken care of. Food was great too. Normally rice and beans are how you can tell if they are a texmex restaurant or not, but I enjoyed their food. Green salsa enchiladas were spicy and great flavor. The red salsa was great too but lacked flavor in my opinion. The food itself tasted good tho!
I have been going and getting 4 burritos for the past 2 months once a week and was charged 21.00 plus tax and the last time it was 24.00 plus tax ...sorry but I am not paying 25.00 for some store bought tortillas I will stick with burrito king they have homemade burritos and cheaper !
Really good breakfast "tacos" burritos. Price was a little higher than most places. They do have a drive thru. It's right by Lubbock High.
Don't judge a book by it's cover. The building is old. The decor is non existent. Bathrooms are an eyesore. But, the service was good and the food was awesome. I had the Carne Guisada burrito. It was fantastic. My wife had the Barbacoa and loved it. Food was 4 stars bit overall experience was 3.
For sure tasty but kinda pricey for a small bacon and egg burrito at 5.41 👎🏼
Food was ok, I prefer my chicken marinated in anything other than SPF 2000. Chicken was so bland it looked boiled, I don't think salt was even added.
People running this place aren't real friendly. Food was OK, not as good as Josies.
I went through the drive thru and got a steak burrito with avocado. It was my first time so I had to look at the menu longer, the person helping me was clearly annoyed about this, unfortunately a bad service experience. The food however was a little disappointing. I expected it to be made like a burrito but it was just meat and tortilla. The steak was good through.
I was recommended to give Raider Burrito a shot, so I dropped by this morning. The service was fast and very courteous! The burrito though was mediocre… personally I wouldn’t say it was worth the almost $7 after tax and card fee. It was on the skinny side with way more eggs than bacon or cheese. It will work in a pinch, but it wouldn’t make my top 20 list.
First visit was great so we thought we would try it again. 2nd time went thru the drive thru and ordered. It was fast but when I got home, I realize we only had 3 of the 4 burritos that we ordered. I called back to see if I got charged for it and they forgot or maybe they just didn't hear me. They answered and were trying to figure it out. The woman asked if I could give her a min and she set the phone down. 10 mins of listening to them take everyone else's order, I hung up figuring they were busy and forgot about me. I called back and the same girl answered. I told her that I was calling back because I had been waiting for 10 mins trying to see if they figured it out. She said yeah we are busy (like I was inconveniencing them). She said, I guess just come back up here, I dont knw what happened and we will see what to do. I dont feel as if they care either way. We wont be back. There are plenty of other place to get a burrito.
The most soulless six dollar breakfast burrito I have ever eaten. Undercooked bacon, undercooked papas, and not a hint of flavor to be had. I'm not joking when I say taco bell has them beat.
Burrito that we ordered was really greasy, chili relleneo plate was good, , but the chili still had the seeds. It was the first time there, don't know if I'll go back.
I could see how it could be good drunk at 2am. But stopping in for lunch the meat was dry and I couldn't get over how dirt the place was. Lady taking the order was nice.
Decent burrito and salsa. Prices are not advertised correctly and so you have to ask how much things are which feels weird. Service is below par and they will ask for more money when you correct them on your order.
I'm honestly really disappointed bc I really used to love this place, but tonight the tacos were so tiny. They was more cheese and cilantro than meat. I remember having tacos from here that overflowed with meat and I could actually use the 2nd corn tortilla provided, but that was not the case tonight. :(
I like this place and buy food here a lot but a lot of the time my order is wrong and I’m annoyed at this point. I don’t want to be a “Karen” but if I’m paying for extra items in a burrito I don’t want to get to work and find that half the items I ordered aren’t in the burrito. This happens all the time. Give me my dang bacon and potatoes I paid for and ordered. UPDATE: It is about 10 minutes later now I hate half my burrito and found a hair in it. Never again. Ugh.
Inconsistent. The nice lady's who take phone orders don't speak English very well. This causes the ingredients to be wrong pretty regularly. The salsa used to be spicy and I would buy extra to take home. Now it's so mild that my wife says she can't taste it on the burrito and she can't handle much spice. Hoping it gets better, we used to really enjoy eating here.
In all honesty this place was a disappointment food wise. Which is a shame because the staff is very friendly and the look of the shop is what I would expect and want from a mom and pop burrito shop. The staff was super friendly and I loved that they spoke Spanish and I could hear Spanish music in the kitchen. When I came in I immediately asked if their tortillas are made there or store bought. They told me they buy them. Which is just a big disappointment with any Mexican restaurant. Because authenticity goes right out the door at that point. If they're willing to take short cuts on their tortillas what else are they taking short cuts on? I had the menudo and that was a disappointment too. Menudo is my absolute favorite food and this one was just blah. It was very unbalanced in it's spices. It was very spicy but had no real flavor. You can have spicy/hot food and also have a good flavor and that's what makes people want more. This menudo was just spicy without any real flavor to it. And again store bought tortillas just really ruins the meal. The chips and salsa were the best part of it honesty. The salsa was balanced with heat and flavor. If you're looking for authentic Mexican food this honestly isn't it. Rosa's Cafe offers a more authentic experience than this place.
Creamer was chunky. Coffee was gross. $80 for food way too expensive. Quality of food was not good at all. Horchata burned my kids throats.
I asked for a burrito in a bowl. I paid $6.50 for a half pint of burrito filling. It used to be good food that was reasonably priced. I don't know what has happened to Raider Burrito but I have ordered my last meal.
How is this business gonna advertise they open at 7 and not be open i work from out town and wanted a warm menudo and barbacoba trash!!! It was highly recommended but very disappointing! Didn't get to try it fir the first time and never will!!
I have not been here in awhile. ( Years ) My daughter picked up some tacos and they are still terrible place to get food. She said they was rude I could of told her that. If she said Mama I'm going to raider burrito I would of stopped her. They rude and their food 😠😠 is awful.
Ordered 2 breakfast plates 15-20 minutes before showing up and the order still wasn’t ready. They didn’t have the ticket with the order written down. Poor service at its best. Won’t be coming back here!
Food was horrible. Tasteless and the windows were broken. It didn't look very clean. The servers were very nice, though.
We showed up around 5pm and stood around for 10 minutes waiting on ANYONE to come take our order. I ordered a Carne Guisada Burrito with cheese and sour cream; I got a Carne Guisada Burrito with cheese and a paper squeeze tube of sour cream and was told the refuse to add it themselves. Once I pulled it apart to add it myself, the burrito fell completely apart and the tortilla was so chewy that I had trouble cutting it with the dull butter knife I was given after having to yell over the music playing in the kitchen to get. How this place is still in business can only be attributed to the drunken college students who frequent the place and later puke in the back of the Uber that mom and dad's credit card pays for.
I had an awful experience which is ashamed because they used to be really good. My barbacoa burrito was half beef fat and my chicken fajita burrito had bones. I hope it's just an off day for them because they used to be super good.
My husband and I were going to eat there street tacos they have available late hours, we were in line it was quite busy people were eating saying how good it was and then I look up and on the ledge right above where the griller just put down some tripas to cook was a little hungry mouse just sitting there. Like i said we were going to eat, there but instead we went to Lubbock Breakfast Club where it's clean and friendly they don't just serve you just for your money even if it could potentially make you very ill. Never will I ever take my family there nor will I refer this mouse infested restaurant with rude employees by the way to any one due to the fact it could potentially kill your appetite.
The burritos didn't have any flavor. Kids said that the barbacoa tasted weird. So I tried it and it was nasty. I even tried to give it to my dogs and they wouldn't eat it. Now that's bad.
Nasty. I got a potato egg and cheese burrito it was so greasy it made the tortilla and the eggs turn to mush. Josie's is better than this nasty place and thats saying something. I wouldn't suggest eating here unless you have absolutely no concern how food should actually be. 🤮🤮🤮
Over 30 dollars for 2 people. No place with a drivethrough should ever cost that much! And the burrito had so much refried beans smooshed all over it that you couldn't taste anything else (eggs, ham cheese). My daughter doesn't drink soda so she ordered a cup of water and instead they charged us $3 for a bottle of dasani. They've quit using homemade salsa and switched to pace picante sauce. Save your money and get better quality at taco bell!
Would never eat here again, the worker touches money, his mouth (as he eats), then has the nerve to make my tacos with his filthy hands. Made him redo my tacos but that tells you how much they care about hygiene.
Very disappointed! Purchased a beef and bean burrito, it was super greasy! I took one bite and the tortilla was so soggy, I felt like I was chewing raw dough! 🤮 when I brought it to the window attendants attention they said they couldn’t do anything because of the one bite I took!
The worst experience ever the prices are all wrong they charge more then what the menu says and all they can say those are old prices food had no seasoning i order Huevo ranchero plate menu says 7.99 but they charged 8.99 Mexican cokes say 3 dollars on the menu they charger 4.00 never again will i go back people watch your price .
How are yall going to serve a pregnant girl raw food. My tacos were not cooked all the way . I normally never have a problem . I've came here for years. But lately ya'lls food have been terrible and undercooked. Tried to come and take it back but yall were closed. Will never come back . If anything im going to go to the other raider burrito or el Phoenix.
I ordered chile rellenos and it was awful. The salsa/ cheese sauce on top of it smelled bad, and the rice was super hard. Hate to complain about it, but I was the only customer in the place and no one ever checked on me. Greatly disappointed.
I ordered 2 tacos and a drink from the truck and got charged $16.64 That is theft. Tacos are $2 $3 for a Mexican coke. That doesn't add up to $16.64 Someone is robbing people and that's not how a business is run.
Honestly from all the “Mexican” restaurants near the university this was the biggest let down. The asada burrito was lacking in taste in the meat, as well as not very lean. The al pastor quesadilla had zero resemblance of real al pastor the cheese wasn’t very good either. I usually give places a second chance but definitely not this place especially for the price.
Overpriced and the location is very nasty, I saw a rat coming out a hole in the wall when leaving so that’s my first and last time trying this place.
I have been to this place several times with no problems, but today the burrito I received today was the worse. It was so greasy the sack tore and grease was all on my front seat of my car. Then I try to eat it and it just fell apart, the tortilla look like they had just dipped it in oil. Very disappointed
Walked in for the first time and it was a ghost town. Completely empty. No one in sight, not even workers. No one greets you. There were a lot of flies around. Overall cleanliness wasn’t there. No drinks in freezers. My husband had to walk up to kitchen and ask if anyone was there to take the order. The girl comes out and seems to be rushing to take the order. We ordered 2 carne asada burritos and was charged $12. They have a fee if paying with card versus cash. Burrito’s were very small, barely any onions or cilantro and it wasn’t wrapped as a burrito but left open as a soft taco. Wouldn’t go back nor recommend.
This restaurant was dirty, and the staff went from serving line outside, to the kitchen, to stocking, and back to the serving line with out ever stopping to put gloves on. There is a service fee for using your credit card but the total amount for the ticket prices are questionable since no itemized receipts are provided.
Honestly there are better places to eat in Lubbock if you want authentic Mexican. ( 34th Street has plenty of self owned Mexican spots with WAY BETTER food). A little pricey in my opinion. Almost $6 for a bean and cheese burrito. I also got a ground beef and potato burrito which came to another $6.50 the ground beef was burnt and crispy probably won't be going back.
Got food poisoning Tonight. *UPDATE* THE NEXT DAY NOTICED THAT SOMEONE HAD TOOK IT UPON THEMSELVES TO GIVE THEMSELVES A $12 TIP DIDN'T NOTICE IT RIGHT AWAY UNTIL I LOOKED AT THE CREDIT CARD STATEMENT THE NEXT DAY CALLED AND TRIED TO HAVE IT REFUNDED TALK TO THE GIRL WHO ACTUALLY TOOK THE PAYMENT AND SHE CALLED ME A LIAR AND CLAIMS THAT THEY WERE UNABLE TO GET TIPS THROUGH THE CREDIT CARD AND THAT THEY DID NOT KEEP A RECEIPT AND THEN PROCEEDED TO CALL ME A LIAR A FEW MORE TIMES BEFORE JUST HANDING THE PHONE OFF TO SOMEONE ELSE SO IF YOU WOULD LIKE UNCOOKED MEAT OVERPRICED FOOD AND ENJOY BEING STOLEN FROM THEN THIS IS DEFINITELY A PLACE YOU NEED TO VISIT WHAT WAS EVEN MORE STRANGE TO ME IS THAT NOT ONE SINGLE PERSON THAT I SPOKE TO SEEMED EVEN THE SLIGHTEST BIT WORRIED CONCERNED OR EVEN SURPRISED SERIOUSLY ONE OF THE WORST EXPERIENCES I'VE EVER HAD WITH A RESTAURANT YOU'VE BEEN WARNED
We used to love to stop here on our way through Lubbock, but tonight we stopped and first thing was the terrible rap music. As we walk in no one was there to greet us, there was a girl standing in the back just looking at us and never came to take our order. This place has really gone down, and we will not be going there again.
Honestly they don’t even deserve a one star. I ordered two different burritos when they arrive they were exactly the same not even close to what I ordered. The meat was dry and had a lot gristle to hard to even eat . I called to ask what happened to my order all they did was make excuses. Trying to make me sound like I don’t know what I ordered. The manager was completely unhelpful didn’t even say she was sorry. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
This place used to be good but has fallen so far. Took 5+ minutes to be acknowledged, after which the lady took a 15 minute break to play on her phone, in addition to another 15+ minutes for a single taco which was cold, greasy, and inedible. At 7pm- peak dinner time for most places. Terrible customer service and food. Won't be going back. If i could rate a 0 i would. Terrible.
Used to like this place but won’t go back. They charge whatever they want and now charge $3 for a coke and $5 for a bacon egg and cheese. Drive through is a disaster. The owner needs to make some improvements. I’ll go to Burrito King. Better, cheaper, friendlier, and prices are as advertised.
Waited 15 minutes in an empty drive thru (nobody inside either) for 2 burritos and a small chips and queso. was charged almost $17, just to get home and there’s no egg and cheese in my chorizo burrito and there’s hardly any beans and even less cheese on the bean beef and cheese burrito. Can’t find a single way to contact someone that isn’t the kids working the place and of course the only phone number would get me to said kids. I want a refund but I know they won’t be able to accommodate that.
Staff is rude, managers refuse to help customers and they never get our orders right. And seriously mean never! They don't know there menu over the phone and the lady so called manager called my employee who went for food a little girl! Seriously I would have beat her ass if I was there! Completely done with this location and would rather eat down the street at the new Spanish restaurant. Jaliscos is great as well!
If I could give no stars I would. Ate there last Monday and have been super sick since then. Don’t recommend this place!!
Worst place ever! I called in an order and when my husband went for it they said they didnt have an order that it had been " lost " by a guy that works there then they gave use 2 little baby barbacova street tacos when we asked for burritos & a small queso when we asked for a large chips and queso ... when we called after we got home & seen THEIR mess ups the manager was very rude & didnt want to correct our order at all. It was very poor service because it wasnt just 1 nor 2 but 3 mess ups. Our order wasnt done when my husband went to go pick it up, they gave us street tacos instead of the burritos, & they gave us a small queso.
Terrible street tacos. Guy cooking was friendly. The food sucked and was over priced. We tried one of each because the place came well reccommended. Threw it away n went and got something else. If you know what an authentic street taco tastes like, this is definitely not it!
great the first time. accommodated me and my fiance with flour tacos instead if corn. went back the second time and was told that cannot be done and has never been done. Asked what kind of tacos are shown on advertisement on building but cashier couldn't give an answer. OK tacos with bad customer service. Wouldn't recommend.
I'm sad to write this review. This was my favorite place to get breakfast burritos for years. My last 5-6 visits I've been served raw potatoes multiple times, bean burritos that are so runny it seems like water has been added to them, and the staff will laugh as they hand you your food. I don't know what's happened to this place, I thought it was a fluke the first few times and kept going back with high hopes, but I've learned my lesson now.
Bought some asada burritos to-go they were so greasy when I arrived back at work, the bag tore and ruined my lunch, pants and shoes. Paid $40.00 for 5 burritos and 2 drinks for nothing. Will never go back. Don't know how this place is still in business, after reading all the bad reviews. Cant go any lower an one star. This place sucks.
This place is absolutely covered in flies. You can see them in the kitchen through the drive through window and the employees swat at them while making your order. It's really gross. The employees don't wear hair nets or gloves at all and roll their eyes when you ask them why they don't follow basic kitchen standards. Really disgusting. Don't eat here.
The place was empty when we came in, it was several minutes before a girl came from the back to take our order. Just about the worst meal I've had at Any restaurant. Ordered two enchiladas with beef. Was served and paid for three enchiladas. That wouldn't have been a big deal if they had been good. Non existent salad, maybe a tablespoon of lettuce with some dressing. Enchiladas were totally tasteless, with practically no beef. Beans were dry. No tea, only bottled coke so I asked for water, and was charged $2.00. Salsa was thin but had a better taste than anything else on the table. Overall atmosphere didn't seem too clean. Food is extremely overpriced for what you get. First and last time at this place. We live and learn.
Me and my family went for the first time in a while and the service was bad the lady was rude and looked annoyed the food was dry especially the baba cora
This place used to be good. Drove all the way over there for some tacos and was extremely disappointed. Basically $30 for 8 little tacos, meat was dry and had no flavor.
4 bacon and egg burritos and chips for $37. The burritos had no seasoning or flavor whatsoever. There is some weird substance that is not what I think of when I see bacon on there. The salsa or hot sauce they give you with the chips and burritos is most obviously store bought and does not have much flavor. Did I mention this was $37?!?! This place is outrageously overpriced without giving any good food. 1/10 do not recommend.
16$ for a potato egg and cheese burrito and chips! Confusing. Looked up the uber eats price and a burrito is 6$ and chips are $4-5. Therefore I am never coming back here again because I literally can’t afford it. If you would have told me my meal was going to be $16 I would have rather gone to eat a nice salmon dinner instead. But this…is scamming people and I make $11 an hour….sigh.
Do not recommend this place at all . Keep trying to call and place my order a person hanged up on me 5 times and lied to me and said they closed in 10 mins . Also called again owner answered Ricardo was telling me me he was sorry and was embarrassed should not had happen and will give me free meal since that happen he gave me code number and everything to go back next day and get the meal then that same night the customer that hanged up on me called back and said sorry didn’t mean to happen then I went back next day try to get the meal lenordo Torres answered the phone being rude and smart mouth to me saying no can’t get the food and that Ricardo is not the owner he should have not answered you he was drunk last night the owner was drunk and that there was a new owner that lived in Mexico but I know that’s a lie because Ricardo called them to apologize to me , and I asked for owners new number and lenordo lied and said don’t have it good luck finding someone . So this whole place is a lie and don’t know how to treat and take care of customers and also how can the owner be drunk and answer the phone . So no I do not recommend this place at all and I heard from a lot of people this place was like that . They need to get rid of lenordo Torres first off making the place look so bad
My son ordered 2 potatoe and egg burritos and a Mexican Coke today 1/10/25. He was charged a little over 20 dollars!!! He asked about the price and the person said they went up on prices. How the hell is it almost 7 bucks per item????
This place totally sucked. My wife got carne auisada burrito the carne was chewy. Top that off the tortilla was cold. I got the carnitas plate the carnitas had no flavor. A little bit of seasoning goes a long way fyi.the rice also had no flavor. Also they gave me two little tortillas that I finish in two bite each. The only thing that was good was Chile torriado. I don't recommend this place. This is the worst place that I've eaten in Lubbock.
I order tacos and a burrito. The picture shows my tacos with nothing but meat and missing the cilantro and onions. My burrito that was supposed to have avocado, sour cream, cilantro, lettuce and cheese with only meat and some remnants of pico de gallo. Thanks for taking my money and giving me what YOU wanted to give me.
So we have love coming to this place, however the last two times we have came to this place it has been a nightmare. The night personnel is the rudest that this place has ever had. I really hope the owner of this place takes this into consideration and really checks his night workers. We work hard for our money and will not ever come to this place as long as the personnel that is here is still employed at this place. We also asked for the manager’s name and number, which they gave us the wrong number very professional.
Horrible experience. First of all the dude just made up the price. I ordered 6 tacos at $2 a piece. I paid $9.50. Its cool I didn't have to pay full price BUT i would've rather paid full price and gotten ACTUAL tacos. These tacos are tiny. I would compare them to toy breeding in large dogs. It's a quarter of the size of what a regular taco should be. It was greasy and had little flavor, at least the hot sauce was good. I couldn't get a chicken taco because apparently they only do chicken at lunch. That's the laziest taco shop I've ever been to. Excuse me while i go have second dinner because I'm still hungry after FOUR TACOS. I will not be coming back.
