We had chef salad - it was fresh & excellent, supreme pizza - tasty & crunchy, and a club sandwich - which was also very tasty.

Kind of a rough-looking biker bar from the outside, but inside it's a nice place with friendly staff, tasty margaritas, and the best BBQ brisket fries you'll ever eat!

This little bar, also known as The Spoon, has been around for more than 25 years. Known for its blue margaritas, it has been a hangout for local bands too. With a small stage, bar tables, and pool tables, you would not think this little place has such a good kitchen. But it does. Not known to all is a great old-fashioned frito pie, not made with chili, but with chopped brisket and queso. And oh is it good. If you ever have a hunger for a great frito pie, try this one out. Just ask for the frito pie, the old fashioned way and they will know what you mean.

Went to watch band sat at a table not one waitress came to see if I needed a menu or a cocktail finally got my own left early band was awesome service lousy at best. Had to pay cover charge to do there job piss poor management no wonder they are losing the band crowd won't go back unless they change there ways

Our host Grace did an excellent job making my grandma and I feel special. It was my first time drinking alcohol and she even gave recommendations on types of drinks. The food was delicious I don't think I've ever had an amazing pizza before. We will definitely be coming back again.

I frequent this bar every Sunday for the open jam night, and despite the vast variety of performances, there is always music everyone will love and the performances are mostly high level. Food is above average and the service is exceptional! Drink variety is better than you might assume. This bar provides an authentic Texas experience and is definitely worth a try!

Unique place! Looked more bar than grill so I wasn't sure how the food would turn out. We were truly blown away! The brisket tacos were delicious! Their salsa added a nice bit of heat (nothing too extreme) and the meat was tender and flavorful! The Texas pizza was amazing!!! Brisket, BBQ sauce and cheese baked on a perfectly cooked crust.

Party of three arriving about 5:30 on a Wednesday evening. We all ordered BBQ buns, two chopped, one sliced. One with potato salad, one with fries and one with onion rings. Meals came relatively fast. The buns were large and full of BBQ. The sides were all Outstanding. We will certainly be back very soon. Sorry, I didn't get the name of our server, but she was very good and efficient.

This place is awesome! Every time I've gone there has been live music and a great crowd. No obnoxious college students! (wink wink) I went on a Friday night a couple weeks ago after 11 PM and they were still serving the menu so that's definitely the highlight for me!

But recently we set out to find the best mozzarella sticks in town and have been mostly disappointed when trying recommended spots. But we finally found them. They are big, breaded just right, have the perfect amount of seasoning and the cheese pull is amazing. Definitely a must try. Pizza and cheese stick combo with a Chilton. That's the ticket!

Fun place to listen to music. Dart boards are in an awkward place. Stair step is in the way and the floor has small step ups that get me every time. Other than that, it's a great place to be social and listen to a live band.

Sounds weird, but this place has the best fish tacos around! The whole menu is great and the bbq buffet on Friday is killer! Nice people, great lunch atmosphere, and patio has been all cleaned up... spoonin' leads to forkin', y'all!

Fantastic! The only reason not 5 stars is it smells like cigarettes & the flies were crazy. Our server was the sweetest & even brought a sample of their brisket while we had our queso. Hubs had the Texas cheese steak with a side of au jus. The au jus was good enough to drink by itself! I had a side salad that came with smoked turkey & bacon. It was amazing! Will definitely be coming back!

You can't go wrong with Element is playing here. Had a great time. Some really cool people there and a few not so much. Seemed a little more "clicky" than it was years ago. You either fit in or you don't. You'll either meet new people or you won't. Had a great time listening to the band. I'll be back again sometime. Summer should be fun.

I have a friend that usually comes to town about twice a week and this is his favorite place. We had been by earlier in the week and the parking lot was full. Saturday it was empty. Their pizzas are really good, but this time I had brisket nachos and he had the wings. Our waitress, Abigail was really nice, checked on us often and kept up with her other tables too.

Review your cash register receipt carefully at this restaurant as both times I've been there in 2023 the menu says BBQ sandwich & 1 side is $12.99; yet both times I was charged $16.99 so had to dispute it to get my $4 returned to me. Food was very good (including sauce) & portion was good size so I was happy after having food poisoning 2 weeks ago. There are several TVs to watch so was nice. I heard fighting & yelling as the juke box was turned up with nasty RAP Music so I left when wanted to stay to listen to live music as was sad on Christmas Eve alone away from my Family!

Was visiting Lubbock for a work meeting we arrived late and were looking for a place still open where we could grab dinner. This was a nice little local joint with live music that we really enjoyed. There pizzas are on point and got the spot. Definitely recommended. Our Uber driver also mentioned something about it being the oldest bar in town.

We went for the Wednesday night pizza buffet, and when we arrived, every table but one was taken—it was packed! There were only a few slices left on the buffet around 7:30 p.m., so we waited about 15 minutes to see if fresh pizzas would come out. When it didn’t seem like the buffet could keep up with the crowd, we decided to order our own pizza instead. The pizza we ordered was hot, cheesy, and absolutely delicious! We loved it, but we were a little bummed that we didn’t stick it out for the buffet. Ironically, by the time we left, the buffet was fully stocked again. Lesson learned—next time we’ll probably come a bit later in the evening.

Roadhouse vibe with all the fun. Pool, darts, sports screens, music(live after dark), beer and FOOD. BBQ, burgers, pizza, tacos, chicken fried baskets, appetizers.Everything on our table was a hit but the Brisket Nachos were a grand slam perfect for a table drinking and watching "the game". Plus surprises as we came in on a Saturday and an arm wrestling competition was setting up. Our server said it happens twice a month. Have Fun

Had a great time with family and friends. Even met new friends. Bar and wait staff sure do like to tip themselves so BEWARE. That is the only reason for 3 stars. They will add to your ticket if you don't keep an eye. Such a bummer. It could be a Lubbock thing as they did the same thing at another place we went to

This use to be a favorite hangout spot when the previous manager managed it. He was friendly and welcoming. The new short manager with long hair is the most unfriendly manager they could have replaced with. He doesn't speak to you nor does he make your feel welcome. That is why we look for new hangouts until they replace him. He is to arrogant to be a manager!

Cherry bomb was good. Bar tenders were rude. They kept our cards then argued with us at the end that they didn't have our card.

We order pepperoni Canadian bacon in mushroom in the pizza only had 5 mushroom 🍄 and and slices literally still good just disappointed on the toppings

The food was really good! The waitress was really terrible though. She only paid attention to my boyfriend and unnecessarily touched him while walking by which I find extremely disrespectful. Then had the audacity to ask if we were separate. I don't recall her ever telling us her name but shes the pregnant one. So ladies watch out.

Classic dive, with a pretty good vibe. Too bad the liquor is watered down and drafts are flat most of the time. 5$ bottle beer doesn't sit well with me in a dive bar. Service is slow and they would rather hang out among each other then tend to customers. Have tried it a few times and seems like its getting worse each time, the last time I wake up to multiple charges on my debit card that were not my purchases. I wont be back.

I go to get and just have a good pizza and some drinks but all i get is hounded bye a lot of flies , flies every where , i can just see all the flies in the kitchen , ive been here for about an hour and its jist getting worse . i dont think i will becoming over any more

I want to give zero stars but that’s not an option so I give you a 1. They charged a cover when they didn’t used to and they rejected TWO ID’s that we’re REAL, even after they passed the blue light and scanned them on the computer. They lost our business and they should lose yours too.

Paid 15 dollars for 2 drinks, we were charged extra for snacks we never got or ordered. Also my drink had no alcohol in it. The waitress was checked out at the bar for half the time and the other half was spent flirting with a guy at another table. When I approached her at the bar about the prices, she said that's just the way it is. Never returning here, this place is a major ripoff!

This has been my favorite place for many years until the new owner took over. He has changed everything about the place. Only seems to have one band playing all the time. Was told by an employee he doesn't want the old crowd around anymore. Guess he's to dumb to realize it's the old crowd that has kept this place going all these years. I give him less than 6 months.

I used to frequent This Bar one night I was there with some friends and another person we all knew... this guy ended up getting very drunk and walking out on his tab after everybody else had left he came back in and we got into an argument mind you I had already paid his tab so the company didn't lose money also so the server didn't have to pay out of her pocket long story long the next day the tire on my bike was flat come to find out later on he had slashed my tire I had an idea was him but I wanted to be sure so I asked the GM to ask the owners if I could view the tapes I was rejected so if you go here just know if anything happens to your vehicle they will not help you unless you call the laws and I'd like to say to the owners the $400 I had to pay for a new tire could have been spent in your bar had you helped me oh well valuable customer lost and in order for me to post this I have to give them one star they really don't deserve any

I wish I could give this place zero stars, but that’s not an option. A group of my friends and I came and were denied entry because our id’s “were fake” which they were indeed not. The bouncer and the bar manager pulled our ids aside and spent over 5 minutes analyzing it before coming to the conclusion that they were fraudulent. Again, they were not. If you cannot properly read an I’d then you have no place bouncing or managing a bar. If you’re 21-25, I’d highly recommend not even attempting to waste your time stopping by as you’ll probably get denied.

Food was great as always after 45 minutes and was delivered by the worst and most hateful waitress in Lubbock. The snarkiness and attitude just got worse when we asked for an update on our order and had to get our own drinks from the bar because she wouldn't deliver them once ordered. Then the pointing and talking about our table to all the other wait staff all turning to stare. She finally made someone else wait on us. Thankfully the new waitress saved the night and was wonderful. But still the original waitress would walk by and stare us down and make rude comments the entire time we were there and kick our chairs when she passed by. We only asked her to check on our food order that she had forgotten we even ordered. She had to ask us what it was we ordered so she could check on it. This was well before the night even got busy. We tipped our new waitress double and had a great time.

We have been going for years and it has always been our go-to place to drink. Their food is awesome and love the Pizza and Chicken series and gravy. Now for the reason for the 1 Star....girls they have now put the WAIT in waitress. Last 2 times (tonight being most recent) we sat at high top table right by the bar. Had 3 girls running drinks and in the 18min there not one took our order or said hey we will be right with you. Manager needs to retrain or make changes because that's not how The Spoon ran before.

Can’t say anything about the food. Left without ordering. Was given a menu with no prices. When we asked, they said they could help up us estimate the price, but not knowing exactly. That’s a ridiculous model for a restaurant. I want to know what I’m getting and what it’s going to cost me. I’m not looking for a surprise overpriced bill at the end.

High prices and very little food. They do not make the food like they used to. Raised prices and then cut the portions. Only 3 small brisket pieces on nachos. Tried to discuss but manager/owner didn’t care.

Went on a weekend, we were denied entry by a manager due to IDs being “fake” they weren’t and she was absolutely rude with the accusations. Manager had a horrible attitude, rolling her eyes, and tone. If you will be carding be sure you know how to spot the difference of surround state IDs. This was not my first time there but certainly our last. They had maybe 10 people in their bar and lost 4 customers. Don’t recommend especially if any assistance would be needed from a manager.
