Crab Rangoon pizza is a must get here. The brussel sprouts with bacon and Michigan cherries are also a tangy and sweet treat. Highly recommended?
Went with group of six on a Saturday night in November. They have a great selection of beer and solid food choices. All enjoyed their meals. We split a pizza. It was the perfect size for two plus had a couple pieces left for hungry boys. Service was friendly and relatively quick for having a mix of burgers and pizza. As with most brewery dining rooms, it can be a little tough to hear people at your table because the sound is very live.
Amazing BBQ chicken pizza 😋 great service and incredible atmosphere! It's VERY dog friendly on the patio. Great value for the portion size.
Great place for beer and food! Shrimp tacos were delicious and plenty of shrimp for the price. Also had a burger which was very tasty and well dressed. The bacon in the burger was very good! We had a beer flight and the pretzel appetizer. The cheese for the pretzels was very good. All the beers we sampled were also very good. Definitely worth a try.
Definitely a new go-to when we’re in Ludington. On a Saturday there was a 15 minute wait, but sat us in under 3 minutes. Our food was ordered and delivered within 15 minutes after that. The ingredients were clearly fresh and freshly prepared, the dishes were presented with appropriate style, and the service was on point in every aspect. If you want a rare, enjoyable dining experience, you need to hit this place up. Great food, great service, great price. What more could you ask for?
Ludington Bay started serving breakfast recently, and offer a small menu of nice choices. Our table ordered the classic breakfast, pancakes, breakfast pizza, and the special of the day. We also had Micheladas, which I did not get a picture of, but they were so good. Bloody Mary mix, a light lager, and pickle, olive, and mozzarella ball to garnish. The special of the day was our favorite. Fried sugar (maybe some cinnamon too) coated bread, and an apple fritter topping; which was basically tender baked apples and delicious sauce of some sort. It was amazing. I had the pizza, which was great too. It usually comes with a sausage gravy on top as well, but we subbed this out for olive oil to make it vegetarian friendly. I would definitely recommend! (Pardon the fork marks in the photos. We were quick to dig in and i hardly got some pictures taken!) Enjoy.
Very delicious food!! Service was nice as well, it was a bit busy and with live music so it was a little noisy, otherwise it was a great time! The Dill pizza was delicious.
We ordered the jalapeño burger with Cajun fries. The kitchen was kind and split our order without us asking. Everything was great. We sampled 2 beer flights with 10 different beers.
Very good beer and food, outdoor patio was great with shade. Dog friendly, they even bring it a dog bowl with ice water, so cool!! Staff was very attentive and we were never left without drinks. Shrimp Po boy was great, pulled pork tacos were good, the pulled pork was very tender but lacked any smoky flavor. The boneless wings come in a 1 lb basket which won't leave you hungry.
The first stop I take anytime I go to "northern" Michigan. Crab Rangoon pizza is incredible, and the beer is equally as good.
Delicious food and drinks! Everything from the apps to the entrees to the sides were outstanding. I had the Mac and cheese with shrimp and got a side of the daily vegetable to add. I also had the boneless wings and truffle fries. I had the watermelon wheat to drink which was pretty good. Wonderful option in Ludington :)
We were visiting from out of town and had a small dog passenger with us. They allowed us to dine in the outdoor area with him and even brought him ice water. Our waitress was fabulous and attentive. Food was delicious and the beer was fantastic! I would highly recommend the brewery!
Every time I stop in here it's always a great experience. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable about the whole menu, service is prompt, and everything is crafted with care. And this is, easily, one of the best Mac and cheeses I've ever had in my life. 👌👌👌
Stopped in for lunch on a Saturday. Bartender was very attentive and seemed to know my questions before I asked them. Made for a good experience. The pizza was awesome. Large personal pizzas but would also be filling for two people. Enjoyed the beer. Everything was reasonably priced and in a good location.
We stopped in at Ludington Bay Brewing spontaneously and we’re not disappointed. Their beers were great, and the pretzels were spectacular! Although we weren’t hungry enough to order one, the pizzas looked incredible and I’d definitely get one on a future visit.
Our first time at Ludington Bay Brew Co and our first time having their beers. We really loved it and will be back. - The atmosphere was welcoming. They have a beautiful bar and distanced tables, following pandemic protocols. - The beers, cider and mead were awesome. We opted for two flights to try as many of their options as possible. We really loved the Coconut Brown, Summer Fling, Apple Pie Mead... And the list goes on. - The food was great as well. We got the pretzel app., The Michigan Cherry Salad ( yum!) And the Jalapeno burger. All came out great, flavorful and perfect for our Friday afternoon long lunch!
Good list of craft beers and cocktails. Nice selection of IPAs and food menu. Michigan salad with chicken was really good. Nice outdoor area in back with fireplaces and partly shaded tables and picnic tables
Go Here! We're traveling around for our family summer vacation and because someone said, "You'll be right by Ludington. You have to go there!" So as we approached from the North and needed our tummies filled, I found the Ludington Bay Brewery reviews and decided to head there. Pha. NOM. In. Al! Brussel sprouts. THE MAC & CHEESE. The BBQ chicken pizza! The Hot Spot spicy pizza. The mead. So delicious! The server Jenna was excellent, the food was fast and hot and (did I mention) DELICIOUS! I'm so glad we have it a shot. You won't be disappointed.
Fantastic Ludington Brewery! Top tier craft on draft! Bring your beer enthusiasm and taste buds! Exquisite tastes will have you craving flights of beer. Good gluten free pizza crust and appetizers. High ceilings inside and patio seating keep the noise balanced through sporting event broadcasts on weekends all times of the year.
We got a little carried away when we were ordering food here. All the food was amazing. Our beers were all good and the soft pretzel tasted great. The crab rangoon pizza was delicious and a fun idea for a pizza. The order of chicken wings was huge, we actually ended up sharing these with the table next to us as we just could not eat everything.
Big selection of beers and great food. Lots of seating both indoors and outdoors on the patio, with shade. There are a bunch of "normal" beers, but also a bunch of funky flavored ones to try, if you're into that. If you don't want to commit to one big glass, you can get a flight of five 5oz pours, so you can mix and match. We got some appetizers for food and were impressed. Pretzels were hot and tasty. Buffalo chicken bites were good too, and a big portion.
Great experience. Enjoyed trying the flight of beers. The bbq pizza was great! Took a while to get seated, it was busy when I went but it was nice to sit outside and enjoy the evening.
Awesome service!! You really don’t see service like this anymore. I can’t speak for the servers or the food. We sat at the bar and Logan immediately greeted us with a smile, got us a menu, explained the beer choices and said we could sample anything we wanted and even do a flight if we couldn’t decide. The bar was extremely clean and clear. They even keep the bar fruit in the fridge, which I appreciate immensely. There were big TVs and for it being a big open space, it wasn’t loud. The bathrooms were extremely clean as well.
Attended for a friends wedding rehearsal dinner. The food was excellent! The charcuterie board was awesome and yummy 😋 Service was good and chill vibes. Will return and recommend any kind of smaller party to check it out.
Stopped here for dinner on a recent trip. Tried nearly all the beers including a beer flight. Everything was fantastic; especially enjoyed the Peanut Butter Stout. The burger and fries were good and the servce was excellent. The young lady bartending did an excellent job and I enjoyed my conversation with her. A+ all the way around!
I enjoyed my experience the couple times I have been here...good beer selections, nice atmosphere and good food! My kids had the Mac-n-Cheese (with added brisket) and they loved it. I had a burger...all good stuff!
Loved the Jalapeno Popper Pie. The staff was So gracious with us, initially our family with 3 small kids was seated next to the band/speakers outside, and at our request they found a table inside despite the wait. Our server was fantastic, she took great care of our table. The beers were amazing, I personally vouch for the vanilla coffee one, we left with 2 four packs of it. Which, BTW, if they don't have cans ready, they can pour and seal on site!! It was insane. So cool. Oh and the loaded frie appetizer was AMAZING. GET YOU SOME.
Great staff working their tails off with short staff situation. Bright, modern home town feel with great craft beer selection. Highly recommend the Tangelo Dream if you like fruity beer. So easy to drink. I also tried the Vanilla Jitterbug, a cream ale that tastes like vanilla coffee. Great pub menu selection and you can purchase some 6 packs and a T-shirt for taking home!
Very good food! Their fries were amazing and their beer selection did not disappoint. The owner is incredibly friendly and welcoming! Their cheese for their Mac and cheese is house made and some of their menu items are locally sourced. The plates are large portions and run about $14-$20 a meal. They have a patio that is dog friendly and our service was prompt.
We enjoyed the rich body and caramel notes of the Paddy's Red Ale and the chocolate tones of the James Street Brown. with a creamy head and nice depth of flavor. Last year, we were lucky to catch them when they were brewing Coconut Brown Ale, our very favorite, which we hope to find on their menu again in the future! We'd recommend the crispy, chewy, salty pretzels with beer cheese. They do a good Michigan Cherry Salad with cherry vinaigrette, and my husband always goes for the standard burger and fries. The fries I stole from his plate were crispy and well-seasoned. Nice wait staff, and the outdoor seating is quieter than indoors if you're looking for that!
Stopped in for food and beer. Everything thing was amazing. Michigan Cherry Salad add chicken with the house made honey vinaigrette - so delicious! Husband had the Philly Cheesesteak- excellent - generous amount of shaved ribeye. He was very happy. Beer cheese with the pretzels is also made in house - very good. We did 2 - 5 pour flights. Very impressed with the beer. Our server was very attentive and offered good recommendations. We sat on the patio with our dog. Excellent environment - tables are well spaced which I think is great so the dogs don’t get too crowded.
Excellent beer and food. Be sure to sample the Coconut Brown ale - wow! It’s the best sipping beer around. Start with the awesome pretzels. Salads are fresh with a variety of greens. Burgers are top level. The servers are friendly and helpful in selecting beers, and the service is great, even when it’s busy. The outside patio and covered dining area is clean and quieter than the inside tables. Enjoy a walk through town afterwards. And get some fresh brews to take home.
One of the best restaurants in Ludington! The Soup Flights are fun and delicious. In the summer, this is the best place to get burgers.
I appreciate that this place is dog friendly and grateful for the signage instructing solo dog owners! Heads up that the hours listed on google are incorrect. Stopped in today (Sunday) around 4:30p and the kitchen was closed. Google says they are open until 9:00.
Absolutely fantastic experience! The staff was incredibly attentive, making me feel welcomed and well taken care of from start to finish. The beer and cocktail selection was impressive—something for every taste. And the Michigan Cherry Salad? Absolute perfection. Fresh, flavorful, chicken grilled cooked spot-on and beautifully balanced. Highly recommend!
We have been dining here since they first opened. Tonight, we have the best meals and service in all that time. The spinach artichoke dip was the best we have ever had anywhere. The Jalapeno Cheddar burgers were so damn good. The saice and candied peppers we jist right The boneless chicken wings (cajin) we also very good. Love that we can sot outside with a pup too. Great Job all!
We just atypical in to try one of the local brews. Staff is very friendly and such an inviting atmosphere. I had the Pumpkin Cream Ale. Sooooo good! Light on the hops, big on the flavor.
I organized a stop here for lunch with a group of 32 people. It was an excellent choice. Great food and a great staff with reasonable pricing. You can't go wrong!
First time visit here on 9/27. We ordered some burgers and fries. OMG they were so good. Price point is in line with the current economy and meets expectations with level of service and quality of food. The atmosphere and service is great. No complaints!
Awesome choice to try this place! We had our pup and it was fabulous. Eric knows how to smoke the meats to perfection. Check it out, great food, wonderful service and nice atmosphere. We will make the 2 hour ride to visit again.
Great food, clean atmosphere, friendly wait staff. Stir the Pot is a great dish, salty, but the stir fry meat is a great flavor and the broccoli was cooked perfectly. Other members of the group also enjoyed their food, and the prices seemed alright. Would definitely come back on a return trip to Ludington!
Ludington Bay Brewing Company absolutely deserves a 5/5. The service was friendly and on point, the food came out fast and fresh, and the whole place has a great, relaxed atmosphere that makes you want to stay awhile. We ordered the wings and the spinach artichoke dip, and both were excellent — but the wings were the real standout. Honestly some of the best I’ve ever had. Perfectly cooked, great flavor, and just the right amount of heat. The dip was rich, creamy, and paired perfectly with the warm chips. Between the great food, great service, and great ambiance, this is an easy recommendation. If you’re in Ludington, don’t skip this place
This place has above average food and drinks. The BBQ nachos were a good portion for the price, but I felt like they didn't have enough pork on them. Still really tasty though. We got shrimp tacos as well, but ended up just eating the shrimp without the tortillas. They had good flavor and were a decent size. I also got a side of mac and cheese, and that was super cheesy with big ole noodles.
Didn’t try the beers… good crowd.. Food came up slow and service was slow. Burger was so so. Fries way too much seasoning. Waitress and stafff all very nice and professional. Place is clean. Just slow service and for my friend and I, 2 burgers, I had a sode of fries, he had a salad- $46 bucks. Kinda high for just a burger that was just so so. This ola e is more about the brews. People do get food and stuff. Good choices in the food. But it is a little high. Burger was under cooked. Nothing special. Again with nothing to drink it was 46 bucks.
The food is hit or miss sometimes. The first time I ordered the Jalapeno Popper Pie, it was one of the best pizzas I've ever had. The second time, it was subpar. Service can be slow but the wait staff is helpful and friendly.
The space is nice for indoor and outdoor seating. There is a large menu. We thoroughly enjoyed the spinach & artichoke dip and the brussel sprouts, however we were very disappointed with the loaded fries - it had no taste. The meat in pork tacos was extremely dry. The pizza was very average. They seemed short staffed. It was hard to get a server’s attention. We tried for several hours to call for a reservation and no one answered the phone. It was our first visit to this restaurant and overall we would not come here again.
We experienced a significant delay in receiving our meal. Upon its arrival, the quality of the food was not up to par. Specifically, the wagyu steak, which I requested to be cooked medium, was served rare. Due to my hunger and the server's infrequent presence, I chose to consume it as is. Had the service been more efficient and the food prepared as requested, I would have gladly offered a four-star review.
I give it a 2 not a 1 because our server was lovely and hard working. But the food was terrible. My shrimp tacos were like frozen shrimp was ran under water, seasoning added and served. They were cold and wet. ...stake was so tough it could not be chewed.....had to return it. Terrible food!
This was genuinely the worst dinner I’ve ever had, and almost every aspect of the meal was mishandled. From the server assuming I did not want to order beer in a brewery to the food. The crab Rangoon nachos were burnt, missing cream cheese entirely, the green onions were lazily cut into 1-inch chunks, and the crab itself was ice cold, fishy, and tasted like smoked lake trout. Absolutely unacceptable. The pizza was shockingly bad. It was so underbaked the crust was still white, with no browning or rise, as if the dough contained no yeast or was never proofed. I ordered a pizza with arugula and balsamic reduction, yet the kitchen baked the arugula? Until it was burnt on the tips rather than sprinkle it on top when it came out of the oven, then added cold onions on top. There was no balsamic reduction at all. The meal felt careless from start to finish. This is without a doubt the worst meal I have had in a decade. This place needs a serious overhaul in the kitchen, because what I was served should never be served to anyone, ever. The kitchen, server, and management team should be embarrassed.
My first time eating here. Decided to try the highly reviewed Shrimp Tacos. The shrimp was good but you had to make them yourself. The corn tacos were dried up and fell apart and the guacamole was brown, so no using those to make tacos. The server didn’t ask how everyone’s meal was nor did she ask if we needed refills on our drinks. But those who ordered the Philly cheesesteak were impressed. The pretzel bites were delicious.
