We sampled a variety of seafood dishes, both freshwater and saltwater. Everything was delicious. Along with the bread, they also offered us focaccia, which was excellent. The staff was friendly and attentive. A family atmosphere.

The owner, pizza chefs, and waiters are very friendly. A genuine, rustic atmosphere with simple yet excellent cuisine. I recommend the fish; the fish appetizer, grilled fish, and tuna steak are wonderful. The pizza is also worth trying. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended!

Excellent seafood and good food. After being closed for 2-3 weeks, they've created a very charming interior. Excellent, as always. In my opinion, one of the best seafood restaurants. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. I come here often. The owner is very friendly, as are the staff. In my opinion, one of the best, if not the best, restaurants in the region for the freshest seafood.

Pizza is one of the best in Luino and fish is really good (fritto misto di lago is a topper!). Dishes are simple and straight forward like the place and the people. Prices are from the '80, extremely fair. With all the tourist traps in Luino (know for high prices and bad food) this is one of my favorite. Very casual but if you want to eat well and do not like to be ripped off this is your place in town. Last but not least friendly people.

Una pizzeria vecchio stile (anni '70) con servizio rapido e cortese. Pizze buone ma non eccelse. Acqua un po‘ cara.

Ottimo ristorante se capitate a Luino e volete far una tappa per mangiar qualcosa. La cucina spazia dalla pizza ai piatti più comuni ben preparati ed a prezzi davvero convenienti. Ottimo il servizio e la gentilezza del personale. Ve lo consiglio!

The tagliatelle al salmone was excellent. My husbands pasta con frutti di mare was delicious (but beware the grit in the razor clams).The atmosphere was charming. Great place for seafood. Reasonable prices.

We had spaghetti with clams in the traditional pan, excellent, as was the grilled cuttlefish, although a little too salty. The ricotta and pear dessert was very good. The staff was friendly and quick, even though the place was busy due to market day. The price was reasonable.

Came here during our shopping at the lovely weekly mercato. It's more or less in the middle of the action, but still a bit hidden away in a backyard. But there's big sign, so you won't miss it. Came a bit before 12.00 and there were still a few tables available. They filled up quickly and shortly after 12.00 it was fully packed and people were turned away. Ordered a bottle of Pinot Grigio, Salmon Tagliatelle and Seafood Pasta. We tried to get a seafood platter, but that depends on the catch and day. None available that day. Staff was serving pretty quick, wine and water arrived fast. The wine was very nice. Fresh and crisp. Good priced. The seafood pasta came with mussels, clams and razor clams. All very fresh and tasty. The sauce was a bit on the light side. The Tagliatelle were nicely cooked, creamy and with very nice and fresh salmon. But the same here like with the seafood pasta: it was all a bit light, all a bit bland. Fish and seafood quality very high though and that's why still very enjoyable. Pizza on other tables looked good. Maybe another time around. All in all fine place for some lunch. Very fair prices for this location, not the very best Italian food we've had - but still very good.

"Coperto" for everyone. Bread only for the locals? Spicy oil for pizza, Parmesan for tortellini only upon request. No goodbyes or thanks when paying. Good service doesn't look like that. You don't feel welcome.

Avevo prenotato presso questo ristorante trovato grazie alle recensioni Google. Sono arrivato 10 minuti prima delle 14 (orario di chiusura) e il titolare non ci ha fatto entrare perché a suo dire era troppo tardi. Peccato perché mi sarebbe piaciuto! Ma il titolare o chi per esso è stato poco cordiale!

Cibo ordinato totalmente travisato dal cameriere, verdure grigliate che in realtà erano lesse, porzioni piccole, servizio non proprio eccelso.

Rustic place, discreet staff, terrible food, alas. We ordered seafood spaghetti, but the mussels weren't fresh. We pointed this out to the owner, who, instead of apologizing, told us it was the type of mussels that gave off that nauseating smell. Absurd.
