Love how they cook the meat for their Quesabirria the traditional way - under ground. Delicious!!!! And fresh juice, using a juicer and made to order. Clean, fresh and the staff is very friendly.
I got 3 gorditas, chicken/al pastor/chorizo and an order of guac. Gorditas were so good and guac was some of the best I’ve had-reminded me of my mom’s. They have a verde salsa is good and not spicy, an arbol that was my favorite and pretty spicy, and a habanero one also pretty spicy but all were so good. I will definitely be coming back!
My first experience here was great - and the Tacos Carnitas were delicious! I will definitely be back to try more from their menu.
I had a great experience at Trébol Taco Shop! I ordered the burrito de asada and it was delicious perfectly seasoned and super satisfying. The service stood out thanks to Javier our waiter who was super welcoming, professional, and made the whole visit feel comfortable and smooth. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for good food and great service!
This is not your typical American Mexican restaurant, this is authentic. That means they don’t bring you free chips and salsa and they don’t put shredded cheese on the tacos. If you go here expecting those things you will be disappointed. Also to the person who left a one star review (who complained about having to pay for water bottles) and said “I should’ve told him this isn’t Mexico, you can drink the water here” - you’re a disgusting person and your review shouldn’t count. Yes you order the chips off the menu but those chips were the best tortilla chips Ive ever had, homemade and fresh. The guacamole was the best I’ve ever had, and I’ve had a lot of guacamole. Empanadas were huge and so so good. Barbacoa meat was super tender and delicious. Also the horchata was out of this world good. All homemade food and authentic. Super nice people too. Can’t wait to go back !
This place is awesome. I have tried the tacos, tostadas, Gordita’s, picada, and burritos. So far everything has been my favorite and I can never decide what to get because it’s all so good. Needless to say, I will be a repeat customer and will gladly support this restaurant over all the chains in this commercial area. I hope Trebol grows and is able to open more locations because it is so good!
Authentic and delicious! Got a variety of their tacos and a side of rice and beans. The tacos were all nothing short of amazing. The al pastor was bursting with flavor, and so tender. The Carne asada, barbacoa and carnita tacos were all solid, but the lengua tacos were the best I've had and cooked to perfection. Tortillas are homemade, you can see them making them up front when you walk in. Everything is a la carte and no frills. I would go out of my way to stop here for a bite again.
This restaurant has the most delicious "Caldo de Res" my favorite! Food is so fresh, tortillas done as you order it, and so is everything else. The mango juice is like having a bite right out the mango ... so yummy. The food was served very fast. Very welcoming ambiance, perfect for family and very convenient location for the travelers. They offer catering for special events like quinceañeras and other events. Highly recommend it!!!
I ordered a Cuban sandwich. I'm from Florida and have had many Cuban sandwiches made by Cubans. This had to be the WORST Cuban sandwich I've ever had! It had a hot dog, eggs, lettuce and tomatoes on it, all of which are not normally on a Cuban Sandwich. I love to eat, but this thing was so disgusting, I threw the whole sandwich out the window! Not to mention the sandwich was $15!. My total with a soda came to $18.90. Then I looked at my receipt and noticed a 10% surcharge on it. $1.80 for absolutely the worst sandwich I've ever had! I called the restaurant to find out what the surcharge was for, and I was told it was because I used a card instead of cash. I asked the man why I was not advised about this fee prior to my purchase and he said there is a sign on the front door. I told him that this is bad business not letting people know that they are going to be charging a 10% fee in advance. I've been in banking over 20 years and I know that Visa does NOT charge anywhere near 10% for their merchant services fee. I told him the sandwich was disgusting and I was upset about the surcharge fee and he hung up on me. This place is the worst. Don't waste your money!
Apparently they allowed me to place an order online and took my money ($48), but we're closed when I drove out to pickup my order. I called their number and was unable to leave a message because the mailbox was full. Their own website says that they are open today. I will update if and when I get my rightful refund.
Update. We used to eat here all the time and loved it. We went back today and it was like a different place. First surprise was on a Saturday at 5:30 we were the only customers for the entire time. The food, although very fresh, was very bland. The flavors we used to enjoy were gone. The service was terrible. The waitress seemed confused. Both of our orders came out wrong, We ate them anyway. We had to ask for silverware and she only brought one set. We had to ask again for the second set. When we went to pay the bill the display showed someone else’s bill, even though no one else was there, and it was much higher than ours. Took a while to get that corrected. Very disappointed in all aspects of the meal..
Would not recommend the food was bland and the carne asada was very rubbery and chewy. The birria cost $9 per taco and the consome was sold separately the birria was actually very good but the consome was thick and oily and had zero flavor. The rice and beans had zero flavor as well in total i spent $50 dollars and the entire thing except the single 9 dollar birria taco was bland and had no flavor. sauce lids didnt fit the cups right so sauce was spilling out the sides in the bag.
Sorry to say, won't be returning. The best part of the meal was the bottled water, which we had to pay for since they don't serve tap water?? Manger said the water was bad there we live across the highway, I should of told him he was no longer in Mexico.Never been to a Mexican restaurant where you didn't get chips/salsa while waiting for your dinner. $8 for greasy cold chips and salsa that I can't even describe, like spicy canned tomato soup. Very little meat on our burritos, mostly rice and lettuce, and no flavor. Beef was to be filet, but was more like steak-ums. Everyone was gracious but the food definitely didn't live up to the reviews.
