First time trying and they didn’t disappoint! I ordered the Sicilano Salad added avocado, and mozzarella sticks. I was hesitant about the salad because of the price, after picking up my order I realized it’s well worth it. The greens are very fresh asking with the other veggies. Large meat portion, capicola and salami. The Italian dressing must be house made because it’s delicious. Very large portion, easily enough for two! The mozzarella sticks were tasty as well and I enjoyed the marinara, it tastes like it’s from scratch. Enverything was done extremely well. I’m impressed. :)

I finally ordered dinner from this place. Staff are great. They took my order and when we went to pick up our food it was ready exactly on time. It was still hot, and not only that bit they put out jalapeno poppers in the fryer shortly before we arrived so they were fresh. Hands down, this place has the best American bar food in town. Their jalapeno poppers are hot, crisp, and has a nice tang because they use pickled jalapenos. They are also a little on the spicier side but not so hot you cant eat them. My husband loved his boulevard bbq burger. It has a really thick patty with a really good char. He ate about half and then ate the other half when he saw me eyeing it. They also season the fries with salt and fresh cracked pepper which was a nice touch. Finally, the whole reason I made the trip here was to try their clam chowder. Their clam chowder was a bit thicker than I am used to, but it is hands down better than any place in the valley outside of the bay area. It is thick, rich, full of soooooo much flavor, and they don't skimp on the heavy cream. The clams are also cut in big chunks which I like seeing in the chowder and there are clams in every bite. I'm going to be ordering my chowder from this place from here on out. The food here is good enough that they really need to expand into a full size bar and grill with more table seating. *EDIT* I came back here for Friday night dinner and a couple of drinks with my husband. I ordered a cheddar bacon burger and have decided that this is the best burger you can get in town. The char and juiciness of their burgers is off the chain! You can't get a burger this good at a restaurant. Yes, I said it and I'll die on this hill. They could charge $20 for this burger and I would still pay it.

Backstreet is the place to go for a nice selection of beers and other brews, mixed drinks, or wine in a small venue. It recalls the corner tavern or local watering hole, with a bit of sports bar thrown in. Today I had their freshly prepared Roast Beef sandwich with Au jus dip. With added melted cheese and fried onion and green pepper and french fries, that made a basket-cleaning meal. The cold brew also was great.

We finally found a great local bar. Friendly service and locals and good food! Great price on beer too (not that I drink beer, bf does).

Fabulous service and she should be a chef lol and always an excellent bartender. 😁

Had a very nice time. Walked in with my hubby and friend. One person at bar. I asked are u closing? He said it depends on the crowd. But But the way he said it was very nice. Made us feel worthwile

They offer great food during the day and have specials on Wednesdays. You come by to hang out to play a game of pool while listening to music of your choice at a great price. They are currently doing some finishing touches to the place but I definitely recommend the bar!!!!

Absolutely wonderful place nice and spacious and plenty of small businesses that for the most part are very decent and I haven't had any incidents out there. I strongly recommended if you're ever in the area you're in good hands again it's a little traffic yet some point depending on the day and the time but it's definitely worth it.

Since the remodel, it does not feel like a dive bar anymore, and it feels like a very comfortable place to grab fair price drinks with friends and coworkers for sure! Beautiful bartenders who know how to mix a good drink, the taller one definitely knows amazing service!

Absolutely wonderful place nice and spacious and plenty of small businesses that for the most part are very decent and I haven't had any incidents out there. I've only visited spicy once and it was only for a little while but I love the fact that they have black people there there are no black people in this town and they were super funny, respectful and made the place fun for ALL. THE BAR BACK WAS DOING SOME PRETTY COOL STUFF HIS PERSONALITY SEEMS REALLY AMAZING

4 stars for the beer selection. 1 off for the night crowd. Otherwise decent place to cool off with great tap selection you won't find many places locally.

I BROUGHT UP A CONCERN TO THE FEMALE BARTENDER AND SHE WAS NOT EXPERIENCED IN THAT FIELD, SHE COULD HAVE BEEN COURTIOUS TO MY CONCERN, YET SHE TALKED BACK IN A RUDE MANNER AND WOULD NOT EVEN SAY I APPOLIGIZE OR ANY HOPES OF WANTING TO COME BACK.

This is a great place to have a beer and play a game of pool. Great people work there!

The bartender's are hot and the drinks are cold. Good crowd mix too.

It's nice because it's close to home. Gets a little crowded but still fun.

Great place to play pool. The people here are friendly and the pool games are very competitive , the players have a skill level that just about everyone that plays here at any time can do a 7 ball run, then bank out in the 8 ball. Friendly competition .

They have a great selection of beers on tap and in bottles. Their food menu is good too, with nice sized portions on the plate. The staff is friendly as well.

It's a spot where locals go, was busy on a Wed evening. If you want to be around a crowd that's the place to go. Just know that it was very hot in there even at 10 PM. No air and they didnt open any doors.

Looks great inside but maybe have a dress code to eliminate some of the "ghettoness"

The competition and atmosphere is great, every one has fun and I enjoy my time sharpening my pool skills. It's a neighborhood feel and not so competitive that people get out of control.. I made some good business contacts here and people are really nice. So if you like to play pool come on down and rest your skills, everyone brings something to the table and the better the competition the better you get.

We didn't stay too long. The drinks were ok.

Wow!!!! I took my wife to get a drink at that place. A fight broke out then, Crazy Bartender didn't know where the fight was at, and she just started sprained pepper spray everywhere. Definitely that place needs a security guard.

This place is filled with drug dealers and coked out bartenders. Jette and Lisa are the main bartenders there from what I was told. My friend and I where litterally kicked out for no good reason. They allowed us to buy two drinks then we where told to leave just because the bartenders said so. That was literally the only reasonable answer we got from them as we where being kicked out. We did nothing threatening or volatile for us to be kicked out. Their restrooms are disgusting and people are doing drugs most of the time in the restrooms. This place needs to be reported for what is being allowed. If you are not know to hang pit thier consistently you get kicked out.

Asked 5 times for food on there menu! Yet, I was ignored!! Perhaps, a bit more attention to customer service rather than conversing with the regulars!! Nice place..service is lacking !!

Love this place. Bartenders are great but expect a fight to eventually break out after 11pm. Not really the fault of the staff, it's just the people that go there. Pleasant and quiet place before 8pm. Edit: this place has gone down hill. 10 bucks for a cover and 6 bucks for a beer. Absolute insanity.
