Absolutely delicious. The great quality meat is cooked to your liking and the sauce is an absolute banger of a classic. The all-you-can-eat crunchy-on-the-outside and mushy-on-the-inside chips (french fries for our US visitors) are moreish. We'll come back!

They only have Entrecôte with French fries on the menu. The sauce is absolutely amazing. The ambience is great and I truly had an amazing time and meal. Would most definitely recommend to anyone wanting a good cut of meat with unlimited French fries and the sauce! I know I will be going back for the sauce alone! A must try in Madrid!

Good menu, good service and good wine (Tarsus roble 2023, a Ribera served as it should be at room temperature). We had previously been to the Eduardo Dato L'Entrecôte but we liked this one better with its more intimate feel. And on a Monday lunchtime it was full, so must book and in Madrid you can, unlike the Bordeaux version! The green salad is simple but refreshing; the entrecôte tender; the sauce rich and delicious as always and the frites endless. We finished off sharing a crême brûlée.

I was searching for the well-known entrecote relais in Madrid, and I stumbled upon this establishment. The server informed us that they hailed from Genova instead of Paris, which contradicted their name. In any case, it was equally as good as the one in Paris, with just a slight variation in the sauce that might actually make it even more delicious. The steak has an incredible flavor, and the sauce becomes even more exceptional when it becomes warm. Make sure you try the exceptional creme brulee, it is outstanding. One of the greatest experiences I could mention from start to finish is definitelY.

Esta bien, es un menú cerrado, ensalada, que lleva un aliño muy rico, el entrecot, lleva una salsa característica, muy buena, pero el entrecot es pequeño, entonces si comes mucho te quedas con hambre, te indican que tienes patatas ilimitadas, pero realmente te sirven 3 tandas. Pedimos postre y el crepe estaba muy rico. En general esta bien, pero hay cosas que se pueden mejorar.

Lugar mítico y típico en Madrid. Una vez entras al local, te sientes como en un bistro de París. Eso sí, con mesas más grandes y mayor separación. Local decorado acorde a su temática, ya que allí tomas el único plato que sirven: entrecot con su salsa especial, papas fritas y ensalada. El servicio es impecable. Te toman comanda del Punto de la carne y luego te llevan a la mesa una bandeja sobre un hornillo para que cada comensal le dé el punto que prefiera a la carne. Sirven las papas fritas en bandeja para que cada comensal se sirva. Lo único que viene en el plato individual es la ensalada que la traen aliñada. El postre y la bebida va fuera del menú, así como el café y alguna copa que quieras tomar. Los postres están muy ricos y son caseros. Relación calidad/precio, muy ajustado. Es un lugar interesante para probar. Pero el secreto está en las recetas secretas de sus elaboraciones. Si nos has ido, te lo recomiendo. Buen restaurante que nos recomendaron por su peculiaridad de un solo plato; no dispone de menú, solo dispone de una ensalada y el entrecot en su salsa acompañado de patatas ilimitadas ( te lo reponen cada vez que lo solicites). La salsa es una absoluta pasada, muy recomendable, el precio es algo elevado para la cantidad que tiene, pero merece mucho la pena probarlo al menos una vez. Propuesta singular centrada en un único plato: el Entrecôte Café de Paris, acompañado de ensalada y patatas fritas ilimitadas. La carne, de buen punto y bañada en una salsa clásica bien ejecutada, resulta sabrosa aunque la ración se percibe algo contenida. Las bebidas y postres no están incluidos en el menú fijo, lo que eleva el ticket final más de lo esperado. La atención, impecable: ágil, cortés y muy pendiente de los tiempos de servicio. Una experiencia agradable, con un concepto claro, aunque con margen de ajuste en la relación cantidad-precio.

Food was amazing! I would give it 5 stars, but we were waiting for a friend for a while as she was late and I felt stressed out a bit my the staff who was waiting for us to start the meal. The reservation said we had until 10:15 which I understood and so when she arrived at 9:00pm we still had plenty of time. It would have been a 5 star experience besides that because the beginning of my experience I felt like a problem for the staff. I got the steak medium rare, and it is very good, however is closer to a rare (which I like). The sauce was amazing and the fries are always fresh. The wine is a generous pour, and the creme brûlée was the best I have ever had.

Savor the succulent entrecôte, accompanied by tender meat and zesty salsa, complemented by crispy fried potatoes (frozen in origin). Impeccable service is provided in Spanish, although French may leave you baffled. The space feels cramped and overcrowded. Increasing the distance between tables would create a more spacious and comfortable atmosphere with fewer people, resulting in a quieter ambiance. Nonetheless, it's worth experiencing at least once, though reservations must be made at least a month in advance.

Good place to go if you want to experience good food in a less casual environment. The meat was good, even though I was expecting great regarding it’s own flavor and feel but the sauce it came with helped a lot. The attention was good overall but there were certain waiters that appeared very new. My biggest letdown was the atmosphere, the place was fairly small and we were seated just next to the cutlery cabinet so it was slightly inconvenient. It’s a good experience overall and both the fries and bread were really good too. About desserts nothing to write home about but it was sufficiently good. I’d recommend it for special occasions.

Excellent restaurant, part of a network of restaurants from Geneva that has locations in different countries including Dubai and Germany. Like the other comments mentioned, it only has one plate (steak) which comes with unlimited French fries and a salad. The only decisions you need to make are what to drink, how well you want your meat cooked, and if you want dessert. The salad albeit simple was really nice and crisp. The steak is brought to the table already cooked but is left served on a hot tray that melts the butter and sauce right in front of your eyes (the waiter mentioned only one person prepares the butter in Switzerland and ships it to Spain). This is the basis is the café de Paris sauce and it was really good. Service was pretty good, they recommended us the crepes Suzette which were actually pretty good. Prices were pretty good, for 24€ you get the salad, the fries, and the steak. Only need to add price of drinks and dessert and you’re ready to go. Definitely recommend it.

El sitio en general no está mal, ubicación buena y el restaurante es muy bonito. El servicio lento, poco práctico y bastante desorganizado. Mi pareja y yo somos celíacos, nos pusieron pan con gluten. Luego lo cambiaron eso si. Ponen el menú gluten free en carta. La ensalada no la pudimos comer con el famoso aliño. Te ponen aceite y vinagre, simple. Patatas pasan cuando quieren… eso si la carne espectacular, la salsa para mi gusto estaba salada. El resto todo bien

Fuimos a comer con reserva y tardaron bastante en servirnos. Desde la ensalada de entrante hasta que trajeron el plato principal pasaron 25 minutos. El servicio bien, pero la comida es bastante mejorable. La ensalada es muy sencilla y la vinagreta un poco fuerte. El entrecot viene sobre una cama de salsa hecha a base de mantequilla con ajo y perejil con patatas ilimitadas de acompañante. Preguntan el punto de la carne antes, pero no lo acertaron del todo con todos los filetes. Y la calidad de la carne como tal es muy mejorable. Los filetes no estaba tiernos, más bien duros y secos. Para ser un restaurante con un único menú por 29€ especializado en la carne, deja mucho que desear. Lo mejor son las patatas con la salsa. Por último, los postres, en general demasiado dulces, sobre todo la tarta de queso y la cremme brûlée.

I know the concept well. I've tried it in many cities. Food was excellent, service was great. But unfortunately I got diarrhea after ~2 hours. This's the last thing I ate. I haven't eaten anything 2 hours ahead of the meal. Thus, the low overall score. Food safety is not a small thing. When restaurants get used to lots of customers and buisnesa is great, the tend to relax other things. I would have written a great review if I didn't had this case.

Muy decepcionados, timo para guiris y latinos. La ensalada es triste y no aporta nada. Las patatas decentes y la carne también pero la salsa… salada, grasienta, mala, sin gracia ninguna. La traerán de donde quieras y será el secreto mejor guardado de no sé dónde pero como se ve en la foto se corta al darle el ligero toque de calor con el hornillo. O sea, te sirven como plato estrella una salsa que está indiscutiblemente cortada aquí y en la China (y ojo, no solo la que nos sirvieron a nosotros si no todas las que vimos). Nos salió un pelo largo en la carne y ni se disculparon, nos trajeron otra bandeja y ya. No subo foto del pelo en cuestión por decoro. Para más inri el sitio es ruidosísimo. Y por cierto, se niegan a servir una jarra de agua pese a pedirla expresamente, lo que contraviene la legislación vigente. Que un sitio así esté lleno un martes y tengan tres locales en Madrid es triste, cualquiera diría que estamos en una de las capitales de Europa con mejor oferta gastronómica. En definitiva, a evitar!!

Mi familia y yo hemos ido a comer a este restaurante CON RESERVA, el restaurante estaba prácticamente vacío y nos han sentado en un sitio el cual estábamos muy apretados y teníamos al personal pasando por detrás con la comida todo el tiempo, nos teníamos que ir echando para delante dado el poco espacio que había, cuando el comedor principal estaba prácticamente vacío. Para acabar el mal servicio del personal, se han dedicado a ser unos bordes con nosotros y no hemos recibido el buen trato de los demás. Ya que mientras que a los demás comensales les retiraban los abrigos nosotros nos veíamos colgando nuestros abrigos en un triste extintor. En fin, buena comida pero un trato pésimo. No vayan.

This cafe de Paris is the worst of all of them in Madrid. The idea of one dish is fine and it’s not our first visit to their restaurants. But this one is a little bit of a disaster. We were four and one of us clearly articulated that the entrecot should come very well done (we don’t judge that, it’s a personal choice), yet when it came it was a medium (and that generous) so it had to go back - despite making it clear to the staff ‘bien bien bien hecho’. Then the small heaters that essentially melt the sauce and allow the meat to cook a little more didn’t work 3 times, which is frustrating given that this is the only meal they serve and should get this right. Then without asking at a point the waiter just came and stopped the heater, without talking to us and despite one of the steaks clearly still woefully undercooked. Then we were offered extra fries (which are included) and to which we agreed, these never came and then our plates were removed. Frankly it’s just HORRIBLE service and I can’t recommend this cafe de Paris. The others are OK - this one, my recommendation is to steer clear.

Definitely an overrated place to eat. The salad is a bunch of lettuce with way too much vinegar and salt. The buttery sauce which everyone seems to rave about was a disappointment, very frothy and way too salty. The meat was meh and the chips not great. The only good thing was the bread. The place is crowded and you are way too close to the nearby tables. Definitely will not come here again.

Talking about overrated. I was hungry when passing this restaurant and checked on Google map and apparently it's quite good and usually hard to get a table. It's in the middle of August so Madrid is quite empty so I got a table straight away. Right next to the entrance door which was very warm with the sun coming through the glass door and full length windows. It wouldn't have been a problem if the air conditioning worked but it didn't. Men are on the moon and the Spanish can't fix the air conditioner? Of course they can if they are willing to pay. But this restaurant wouldn't invest and rather let the customers suffer. It was 37°C outside and 33°C inside! There is another dinning hall inside and was cooler. I asked if I could move to the inside section. It was half empty and the outside section was 70% empty. The tall waiter 'checked' the computer and said it's fully booked. He could only move me 3 tables away from the door. It was 1:30 and at 3:00 the inside room was still about half occupied...He just wanted to put some people in the outside room to make it look not empty, at the cost of the customer's comfort. There's only one menu, a set lunch with a green salad, a steak and nothing else. Wine, coffe and desserts cost extra. When I was half way through my salad, they brought the steak and wanted to take my salad. I said I'm still eating... They put the steak on a heating plate with gas heater underneath why?? The steak was sizzling while I was finishing the salad. I couldn't watch it anymore and asked them why the steak is still cooking? They turned down the heat. By the time I finished the salad and started the steak, it had gone from medium rare to very well done....at the end it's so chewy and left many chewy bits. It's 37°C outside why on earth did they put the steak on the heat??? It's moronic, pretentious and pure stupidity. The sause on the steak has enough salt to kill a village. Service wise the tall waiter thought he's the CEO and bossied around the other guy and a waitress who were quite nice. The fact that such a place could get good reviews shows many people in Madrid don't know better. In Madrid good restaurants exist but one really need to look extremely hard for them and this is absolutely not one of them.
